Really great experience, Roger was great to work with, very fair pricing and even worked with me to make the repairs more affordable. Very honest and not at all pushy. Did great work and would definitely recommend.

BEWARE AND DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM!On 10/02/2023, I brought my car to Hamad Auto Repair because it was experiencing issues with cranking and starting. The proprietor insisted on replacing the battery, crank sensor, and oil pressure switch, which cost a total of $838. Despite these repairs, the engine light persisted. Subsequently, on 10/18/2023, I was charged an additional $416 for a filler neck and fuel cap, with the promise that this would address the engine light issue. However, after picking up the car, I discovered that the engine light was still illuminated. When I returned the car to Hamad Auto Repair for further investigation, they kept the vehicle for an extended period without resolving the issue. Frustrated and in need of transportation, I retrieved the car with the understanding that I could return for the engine light issue to be addressed later.Regrettably, two days later, my car broke down in the middle of nowhere. Upon towing it back to Hamad Auto Repair, I discovered numerous exposed wires and evidence of substandard repair work. The proprietor, despite having previously charged me for various parts, insisted on the need for a new starter, which cost an additional $222.04 for just labor with me buying the starter on 11/13/2023.My dissatisfaction with Hamad Auto Repair's services led me to seek a second opinion from a dealership. Shockingly, the dealership revealed that the filler neck and fuel cap, for which I had already paid Hamad Auto Repair, required replacement. This blatant discrepancy suggests either incompetence or, worse, intentional fraudulent practices.

These guys are the sweetest around! Came into the shop an hour before close and despite being busy, the mechanic stayed 40 mins past close to make sure I could get home safely this evening. I m so thankful they were right down the road!

We stopped by without an appointment and they took us right away. We thought we needed suspension or shock work, and asked that they check that out. As it turns out, it was a loose muffler that was making the noise as we traversed the mine field of potholes that plague this area. They fixed that and checked the brakes as well as a few other things. We drove off with a quiet ride, for a grand total of $22.00, and no unnecessary repairs! Highly recommend this shop!Services: Vehicle Inspection, Auto maintenance

Great service and when you ask for them to call you to advise of the price before doing the work, they do it! I take all my cars here now. It's local, not as expensive as others and they're honest with me.

I took my Lincoln MKX in because it would intermittently hesitate then jerk when accelerating. I was told that the transmission needed to be replaced and would be $5600 for a new one and $3400 for a used one. Since I didn't have $5600 I paid the $45 for the diagnostic and left. I decided to take it to the dealership where I bought it in 2017 and guess what? Even though the warranty was up they fixed it for free. It seems the only thing wrong with it was low transmission fluid due to a leaky plug. Hmmmmm, that should have been the first thing they checked. I don't think I would trust them with my car ever again.

I recently had a very bad experience at Hamad's Auto Repair in Copley. I took my car in to have the rear brakes serviced. I told the owner, Roger, that my car was making a noise that seemed to be coming from the rear brakes. He said they would check it out and come back to the lobby to let me know what they found. An hour and a half later, he came up to the counter and said my car was ready. He told me the cost and then added after he TOOK MY MONEY "Oh by the way, your car is still making that noise. It wasn't coming from the brakes, it was coming from your struts, which will cost $800.00 for the rear ones". When I asked if there was anything wrong with my brakes, which IS WHAT I PAID FOR, he replied as he was putting my money in his cash register, "Not really, they really weren't that worn down". But he took my money anyway!!! He never came to me before starting the work on the brakes to let me know what was happening and give me the CHOICE of deciding what I wanted to have done. He just gave me a look that clearly said he couldn't care less about what he had just did. His dishonesty costs me money I did not have! I will NEVER go back to this "front " of a shop ever again. For all those who care about the quality of work that will be done to their car and the the quality of the customer service they will be receiving, then this is DISHONEST PLACE is not for you!!!!Service: Brakes

The MOST TRUSTED car repair shop in the area! We take all our cars (newer and older vehicles) for service and repairs to Hamad's Auto Repair and they have never failed us. Very reasonable prices and high quality service. Roger, the owner, is the nicest man and it's a pleasure to deal with him. Plus, it always feels good to support your local small business. Corporations will never care about their customers on the same personal level. I highly recommend, you will never go to another mechanic again!

They seem friendly and good people, but just a word of caution, though they say they work on all makes, if you have a Mercedes, go to MAG Motors LLC. in Cleveland instead. While looking at a Mercedes that a private owner is selling that was located at the shop, I asked the mechanic there what was wrong with it and he said he didn't know. He then admitted that they weren't a certified Mercedes mechanic so they didn't have the tools to diagnose any problem properly on a Mercedes. Otherwise a good mechanic if you don't own a Mercedes.

An overall great experience. Dropped my truck off about 830am got a call for my estimate by 11am and a call that it was done at 2pm. The price was much better than I expected and everything is preforming as it should assuming it stays that way very happy to leave five stars highly recommend and will be back if I need work or when more likely it s a 2001 after all.

I had my vehicles front strut assemblies replaced. The service was performed promptly, courteously, and at a decent price. I wish I had similar compliments about the quality of the work...The vehicle was returned to me with misaligned steering and the worst case of overtorqued lug nuts I have ever seen. I doubt I will be bringing my vehicle back to this shop for any future work.Service: Steering & suspension repair

I am very grateful that Hamad Auto Repair is so close and accessible to me. Roger Hamad has been servicing my cars now for over 5 years.Roger is a man of integrity. Most recently, I needed the last bolt installed on a new class 3 hitch for my Nissan Murano, and Roger corrected the problem while I waited, shook my hand, and asked me for nothing. I am blessed to be able to call Roger a friend.I have always received excellent service in a timely fashion, the task has always been completed to my satisfaction, and the pricing has always been fair. I would highly recommend Hamad Auto Repair for all of your Auto Servicing needs.God bless you Roger, keep fighting the good fight.Services: Tires, General repairs & maintenance, Engine repair, Brakes, Oil change

I've been trying to give these guys the benefit of the doubt because of their convenience for years. I'm fed up. They screwed me on an insurance claim. It took them 3 tries to fix my emissions issue. They screwed up my tire balance. The customer service is terrible. My vehicle will sit there for a week without a phone call. I tell them to check all my belts and the only one they don't check is the only one I care about, the timing belt. The guy says "well we have to take the cover off for that." Well take F$%&ing cover off and check it you moron! After at least three years I can tell you they are lazy and/or incompetent and I'm never going back.

I've searched high and low and Roger runs the best and most honest shop around. Yeah the waiting room is shabby and the building is old but you're not going there for the amenities. They get 5 stars for the important stuff, they do great work for a fair price.

This place is a local gem :) It's not very fancy inside, but the attitude, prices and high quality work is what gives them a 5-star rating. The owner will never "over-sell" you a service or unnecessary repair your vehicle doesn't need, because they are always busy regardless and I can see why.

1st time i went to this shop, experience was good when you dealt with roger. This time i went my vehicle sat there for 3 months and 1 week. Horrible, Horrible service. When we recieved vehicle back the horn was stuck on, how they couldnt notice..... made it 1 mile down the street and front end shaking so bad we took it back. They had it another week, we got it back and hoses blew off because they didnt hook radiator up correctly and front end still bad. We had to take it to a Ford dealer, only to find out hamads auto did not do work correctly, we tried to call roger the owner for him to stand behind his work, its been 2 weeks snd not even a phone call. Way to get screwed.... st least the repairs now will be documented and legal route we go. PLEASE BE AWARE OF WORKMANSHIP HERE, ITS NOT THE SAME

Slow but done right. They are cheaper because they are not overstaffed. Be prepared to drop off your car for a couple days though. Willing to negotiate price, very happy with the repairs, will come again.

Installed new control arms struts and things. Of course; then we must align. It's a lot of work. And we had to revisit some things. But that's what it is when your car gets up in mileage. Good people to work with.

I took my car to them for a issue. Was assured it was fixed now days later have the same problem. They improperly diagnosed my issue. After the fact no ownership is taken about this problem. Poor customer service and if u ask me to be professionals this should not of happened.
