Skip was so caring and understanding of what I had just been through after my accident. He walked me through the process and was very timely on picking up my truck. I will definitely recommend carstar Bexley to my friends!

The staff was nice, but they looked at my car's brakes twice and didn't fix the problem. They had me put new calipers, rotors, and pads on my car the first visit. After that, my brakes were smoking and still not working right so I take it back to them and describe my issues. They then told me that everything was fine and the burning smell and smoke were just my new brakes being worn in. I was also told that during this second visit they did a free 200 point inspection and gave me a sheet of notebook paper with a laundry list of things that they claim are wrong with my car. Immediately after picking my car up the second time I couldn't even reach my destination, but luckily could pull in to a Monro. Smoke was billowing out of my calipers and they were locking up even worse than they had been. Monro diagnosed the real problem in just a few minutes, turns out it was a bad brake hose the whole time (again, this all happened the same day and immediately after leaving Carstar's shop the second time they had my Taurus for several days). So of course the new brakes that Carstar put on to begin with were ruined because they couldn't catch the root problem. I've paid for my brakes twice now because of this and all because they couldn't diagnose a simple brake issue. It should also be noted that when I called to set up the original appointment I specifically asked if they were able to fix brakes because I knew there was something wrong with them.."oh, yeah" they said "bring it in". Haven't had any problems since Monro fixed my car though! Save your time and money, go to someone who will actually fix your car.One positive note, they know how to clean the inside of a car out.

Andrew was great!! He went out of his way to get the parts I needed so I could get back on the road the same day!! Much appreciated! Mechanics were fast, professional and knowledgeable. Thanks guys!!! You are my go to from now on!!
