Great service to my car over the years, but three stars for the wait time when getting an oil change. 3 hrs for an oil change is inconvenient, and I feel they pressure the customer to get expensive repairs, or extra services to car. Yes, our cars do need service, but at the same time paying an extra $500 or more to your car when you come in for an oil change is completely unfair to the customer and who has $500 plus dollars to spend right off hand? We're all struggling out here and to pressure the customer to spend that kind of money is totally unfair.

Dealer wanted $225 to lubricate the caliper slides. Break specialist just a few miles from them will do it for $49.99. The service rep even told me, the wheels are off right now for rotation .i can have the guys do it in 5 minutes. $225 : can you guys tell me what the parts and labor breakdown for this is please?

I don't always go to the dealership for repairs because of the cost but when I do I'm never disappointed by the quality of the work. I went in for an oil change and rotation. Unfortunately they found a few issues that I can't afford to fix right now but I'll be able to save up for and take it back! Their lobby is comfortable. The staff are kind. One even offered to let me use her phone charger! They treat you well AND they have this gorgeous vintage land cruiser in the lobby!

In November 2022 Germain Toyota Service Center replaced the rear rotors and brake pads on my 2011 Toyota Prius the first time the car required this service in its lifetime after traveling nearly 150,000 miles. I brought the car back to Germain in November 2023 due to a high-pitched noise coming from the rear brakes. My car required the exact same repair they performed 1 year and 2 weeks earlier after only 8,000 additional miles driven. The service coordinator stated they would not warranty the previous work, only offering the standard $100 off promotion they had at the time. When I went to pick up my car 2 days later I attempted to speak with the service coordinators on duty. They gestured for me to speak with the cashier. The cashier barely acknowledged my presence as they were multitasking between teaching another employee how to use the fax machine and finding my paperwork in a less than organized pile. These experiences and similar experiences at Toyota Service Centers in greater Columbus have caused me to completely lose faith in the Toyota brand a brand my family has been exclusively loyal to for 17 years. A new Prius Prime was at the top of our shortlist to replace our 2007 Prius, but I cannot reasonably commit myself to a brand whose service centers have a record of being costly, negligent and disappointing.

The service is great and if i could give them 4.5 I would. My only downside is that things still rake quite a while. It seems like they are well staffed and competent, so I go here whenever we need to, but be prepared for it to take 1.5hr for an oil change and bring a book.

I WISH I COULD GIVE 0 STARS . Took my vehicle in less than a month ago and they did their inspection and came back noting wrong. Today I scheduled an alignment because my Toyota pulls to the left so they did their diagnostic test and l now there are 3-4 things wrong. I asked why it wasn t brought up last time and she couldn t give me and answer. She was the assistant manager and couldn t tell me anything basically. I still have the print out from last time and again still couldn t explain it. Anyway I got my alignment and after being there over 3 hours when it was quoted to take and hour I leave and it still pulls to the left so I take it back. They won t refund the money when my issues isn t fixed. How am I suppose to even trust they did anything at all and it didn t sit back there for 3 hours and me pay money for a service that wasn t done. It s just shady business. Magically depending on who does the diagnostic testing changed what needs done I guess. What a scam.Service: Wheel alignment

Went for an Oil change today and was out in an hour. Was provided detailed reports and video on the routine inspection for my preview. Chris Curtis was very professional and courteous. Recommended

I made an appointment for new tires and an alignment. My appointment was in the morning and yet it was closing time before it was done. Well actually it wasn t done because they found that it needed brakes and said they couldn t do the alignment because something in the rear of the car was stuck . Another trip was not scheduled with an additional cost required. So we left with the vehicle, with new tires, and the tire pressure light was on. I didn t worry about it because I needed to take it back for the additional services that were now going to increase my initial cost to close to $3000. They were told about the tire pressure light but failed to fix it. This lead to another trip there where they told me all 5 pressure sensors are bad and it wasn t our fault . Now they wanted an additional $1100 to fix this. Three trips and over $1000 for each trip. I spoke to my old mechanic and was told to get a second opinion. Well once the outside temperature increased the pressure sensor turned off on its own. Now I am second guessing whether sonething g was really stuck in the rear of the vehicle that needed to be fixed before my car could be aligned. We took our car keys and left and when we looked at the paperwork , thst we had to request, what they had told us did not match up with what was on the paperwork. Never again! I definitely was taken advantage of and had I not got my car out of there no telling what it would have cost me.Services: Tires, Tire rotations, Wheel alignment, Brakes

The mechanic I spoke with was SUPER nice, however, I would get a 2nd opinion before having them work on my car. Another shops diagnostic fee would be cheaper than paying shop rates for guess work.Took a new-to-me Prius in for a diagnostic a few weeks ago because a "service hybrid system soon" light kept appearing on the dash. Prior to going to the shop we discovered the air intake box was full of foreign objects and saw the MAF sensor wires were rodent chewed. We told the shop what we found and scheduled a full diagnostic. I made a 7am apt, dropping the car off the night before. Called to check the progress around 1pm. The svc man was super nice! He said he saw all the things we pointed out but nothing else and no recent codes were coming up. I was told the only way to really figure out the issue would be to, first, replace the MAF sensor and it's wiring harness ($800+) then see what happens. We opted out of paying for guess work and awaited a call back to pick up the car up. They never called. Called a few hours later and was told it would be ready the next day! My boyfriend called again near closing and was told it's been ready for a while. After getting their full diagnostic report and inspecting the car ourselves we discovered the BRIGHT ORANGE hybrid battery wiring was also mouse chewed. It about slaps you in the face when you remove the under-car panel. I'm wondering if they even removed that panel because Ray Charles could've seen that problem! We were also told the front brake pads were down to 1mm and needed changed ASAP (for $500+ they'd do it!). We did that work ourselves, only to find out the tires were never even removed, they were still seized onto the car. The pads were low but def. still had some life left, not a 1mm threat. Not sure how they made that call when the tires had never been taken off. Lastly, I called around for pricing before taking the car there. When scheduling the apt. I was told $120, the day of service I was told ~$140 after taxes/fees. It ended up costing $157.82.Service: General repairs & maintenance

I am doing something I don t know that I ve ever gotten to do, I am changing my review from a 3 to 5. Why? Because Germain made it right! Mahogany called me and was very kind and apologized for my poor experience. She made it right! Thank you Mahogany!! I also want to give a shout out and 5 to Brandon Hood, the assistant service manager. He was very nice as well throughout my first experience. And I appreciate that! Thanks Brandon!! Keep up the good work. I will return to Germain East for future service.

They get the job done but will definitely try to sell things you don't need. They told me my battery was bad but I got it tested at two different places right after leaving and was told the battery was still good. Also this place is very pricey and will definitely hurt your wallet.

Extremely rude staff. My boyfriend set up an appointment to get his tires changed and they told him the tires were "on site" (important later). The woman said it would be $660 dollars for the cheapest option even with their currently ongoing "buy 3 get one for $1" deal. So the two of us decided to go elsewhere to buy tires and my boyfriend called back on the same day to cancel the appointment. The woman on the phone had a nasty tone to begin with and when he asked to cancel she tried to guilt him into keeping the appointment, saying "we rush ordered the tires especially for you" even though earlier she told him they were on site. When he still attempted to cancel she got even more angry and hung up on him. She didn't even cancel the appointment because today he got a text to confirm the meeting.

Came to get a basic oil change for my Toyota - it did take some time (1.5 hours) on a Friday morning with an appointment. The service staff was kind and not rushed, and the wait area was comfortable with water/tea/coffee machine/vending and free WiFi with limited tables and plugs. Overall a great official service center and I would return!

Soooo....I had my vehicle towed to the service department at 11:30am. I had a 12:15 appointment. Approximately 13:00, I called to check the status of everything and was told that no vehicles were towed in that morning. Red flag, but hey, we're all human. Apparently they found my car because I received a call shortly after saying they will start the diagnosis and call me with some answers. Never heard from them, so I go to the dealershipto see what's going on. I was told that the technician hadn'tdetermined what the issue was, he left for the day, and will give me a call in the morning. That doesn't sound right to me. We're talking about a diagnosis. I saw that my car was still in the parking lot, the seat belt was still wrapped around the steering wheel from the tow in, and there was no plastic on the seat or paper on the floor mats. I've been in enough auto shops to know that this is a clear indication that the car had not been touched. I asked Mr Goodman about this and he gave me some BS answer about the technician rolling the car out of the repair bay before he left. Yes. He said that, with a very condescending attitude, I might add. I decided to have the car towed somewhere else in the morning. The next morning I went to the dealership, told them my plans to have it towed, and I let Mr. Goodman know that I didn't think he was telling me the truth. He was very adamant about his claim that the battery was tested and the paperwork he provided me clearly stated that the battery was in good condition based on the test they administered.Well... the second auto shop I had the car towed to determined that the battery was absolutelyworn out, they replaced it, and now I'm up and running. Mr. Goodman lied to me twice and proceeded to be an absolute a-hole when I questioned him about it."I have always believed in treating our guest like family" But wait, there's more!! Afterwards Billy Blanton and Mahogany Nolen both contacted me to make the situation right. It is because of them I understand that this was an isolated incident and is not a reflection of Germain Toyota. Mahogany and Billy both displayed the level of professionalism and class that I would expect from Germain Toyota. Thank you both!!

I just purchased a used Lexus from another Germain dealership, and needed to have the maintenance reminder adjusted. Between two of the service techs, we were able to get it done. Thanks to both of them for their assistance. Well done. Kudos for a sharp crew.

I was highly disappointed in Toyota. 8 had my car towed there on 7-7-2021. I received a text that same day saying that the car was going to be worked on the next day which 7-8-2021. Well we waited the next day for a call back, I called there and the service manager said there was not a 2004 black and gray Rav 4. I had to have the tow truck company text a picture to me where the driver left the car on Toyota's lot. We went to Toyota to try to find the car we had to walk around the entire service department lot to locate the car. Then when we spoke with one of the service managers he told us that he lost one of the keys or someone may have accidentally picked the keys up. This was definitely unacceptable.

Always courteous and timely. If my car ever has an issue (which is rare), they listen and ask good questions to gather as many facts as possible.

The wait to get a Toyota recall finished is way too long. Better scheduling is called for. However, the waiting area is very comfortable.
