Dropped my car off on a Thursday to be checked out and they said they d call me back with a quote for services within 1-2 days. It took until next Wednesday for them to finally call me back with a diagnosis and even then it took another 2 days to allow me to come pick my car up. I ended up declining service so I can t speak to their capability of working on cars, but I will say they told me it was going to be $350 just for checking out my car (without taking anything apart). Thankfully the woman at the counter ended up only charging $170 so maybe there was some miscommunication. Either way, if you want quick service I d recommend avoiding this location as the parking lot is always full of project they have going on.

I had (maybe) too high expectations since they worked on another car for me. The communications while my car was being checked was spotty at best. The quote for head gasket replacement on a 2006 Honda Civic was $4700 car lot I purchased the car from provided a quote based on this quote and they estimated $3000. They ended up replacing the motor for a total of $2324.They are fun and nice people though.

I can t begin to thank Tom and Jerry s enough for looking at and fixing my son s car!! IF YOU ARE A OSU STUDENT OR A PARENT OF A STUDENT START HERE WHEN LOOKING FOR A REPAIR SHOP!! Unfortunately we had a horrible experience at another auto place first. My son goes to OSU and we live out of town so this was his first time dealing with getting his car fixed on his own. The first place he went to had his car for ALMOST 2 MONTHS and hadn t ever looked at it. I was so angry that someone would take advantage of a student like that. After calling around we found T&J s and my son and his friend towed his car to there. It didn t even take a week for them to find the problem and fix it and it was so reasonable!!! Thank you so much for the excellent service!

Took my car in for a general check-up and to get the battery replaced and the back windshield wiper replaced. Took all day before they told me they didn t have the battery in stock, but wanted to massively upsell me to get it the next day. Then came by to pick up the car (because I needed it for work) to discover they hadn t replaced the back windshield wiper which was literally falling apart; the rubber portion was falling off the blade. They hadn t even noticed that it was falling apart. They also hadn t rotated the tires, but tried to charge me for it anyway only after I asked about it did they take it off the bill. Got the battery replaced for about $80 less elsewhere.Go somewhere else.

This was probably the best experience I've had getting any work done on my car. My brakes had been making noise for a while and I finally had the funds to get them fixed. The technician at Tom and Jerry's did a full inspection of numerous areas of my car and sent me pictures of everything, grading everything from suspension to windshield wipers on how urgent a fix was needed. Fortunately the car was overall in good shape and we only proceeded with brakes. They called with all projected costs before proceeding which actually ended up being slightly more than the final cost, which was a nice surprise.Looking up the rotors and pads they picked, they chose premium options, far from the cheapest available. The noise was primarily from rusted rotors, so I was very pleased that they opted for an anti-rust coated product. The car sounds great and every aspect of the experience was smooth. I was looking for a reputable mechanic since moving to Columbus and based on this experience I will be taking my car here for the foreseeable future.

Tom and Jerry's have always done a great job with all of my service requests. They fixed a steering issue for FREE, and a tire patch job for $20. Jerry himself will provide a ride home too if you need to leave your car there. Will always recommend this service.

I was very happy with my experience, Jerry was kind enough drop me back home after I dropped off my vehicle and when my vehicle was finished he picked me up. He was a pleasure and he gave me a history lesson on parts of Columbus and I thoroughly enjoyed his company. (My last name is Bogner)

Brought in my car first thing in the morning after scheduling an appointment for general maintenance. Called around 3pm to see when the car would be done but it turns out they didn't work on the car all day. They've been busy which is perfectly fine, I just wished they would've told me that when I dropped my car off or called me once they realized they wouldn't have time for my car so I would've planned accordingly as I need the car for work. It was a waste of time and I would've rescheduled for another day if they communicated and I was told ahead a time.

Tom and Jerry's is great! Always honest, kind, and they do top notch work. I only wish they had another mechanic, it took a bit longer than we would have hoped. That said, I would still choose them over any shop in town.Service: BrakesService: Brakes

Rotors & brakes for Daughter s car. Me being out of town, these guys took very good care of me. Sent a report with photos & explained everything to be done. I had a very positive experience at Tom and Jerry's. They have a great masterMechanic and Jerry, one of the original owners, still works there part time. Totally transparent diagnosis. The Goodyear tire store downtown Columbus told me I needed new brakes. I had the mechanics at Tom and Jerry's take a look and they sent me a report giving me all the cars issues including the fact that my brakes still have 50% of their life left. I really appreciated the comprehensive report on my car's overall "health". The only thing I didn't like was, I was not informed of how much looking at the car would cost. However, even that cost was a value, much much less than getting a new set of brakes unnecessarily.Service: Vehicle Inspection

I first took my car here about 14 years ago, and could not recommend a better shop. This is a place where honesty and reasonable prices are consistently delivered along with swift service. They're very good about being transparent with your fixes with explanations that include photos, which I have not encountered at any other shop. The staff alone is well worth the visit!

I pulled in off the street with tire issues on a company vehicle, I asked if they could put some air in my tire which they did within about 5 mins. Turned out to be a bigger issue, but they got me in a bag and had it fixed and back on the road in 30 mins. And it didn t cost me an arm and a leg! Prompt & very reasonable price. And all the guys I interacted with were very nice people. Highly recommend!Service: Tires

I have a 2010 Mazda and when things stop working it can be nerve wrecking to think about how much it'll cost to fix knowing it's an older vehicle. This auto shop was able to get me in right away, ran full diagnostics, identified the issue, and had my car all good to go by the end of the day! They are the kindest people and provided great service at a fair and reasonable price. So happy to have found this auto shop and will be a customer for life.Services: Auto maintenance, Oil change

The service here is best you will find. They are honest and direct. I brought my car in with a tight deadline, they made sure it was repaired on time. I would recommend Tom and Jerry's without question.

I wanted them to quote me for a notorious engine repair. Once they found out what it was and knowing it would be back because the part has been known to be faulty in the past, they politely turned it down. They did take the time to explain everything to me, and suggested options to me. They will get my future business. I'm just sorry but totally understand and don't blame them for not wanting to go down this road with me on the engine repair this time. I'll refer others to them as well.Update-Since the above post I've brought that car back for a different repair, and my Taco(Tacoma) for 3 separate repairs. Always polite, curious, and I keep coming back.Thank you T&J's

I had a front right ball joint arm completely detach and bent my front axle on my Nissan Sentra. I originally had it towed to a nearby Firestone (biggest mistake) since they said they could get it done same day, most likely. Well, their initial estimate was $650 which I wasn't mad about. Then I ubered to work and a few hours later their rep called me back and said "yeah, so we looked at your car again, and we're looking closer to $3,300"(they tried to add a new control arm, and new struts as well which were needed) . I was flabbergasted and told them to take it off the rack and I'd find somewhere else to do the job. Tom and Jerry's was recommended from a co-worker who was adamant about how they do amazing work and are some of the most honest people in the auto industry and they never overcharge or add unnecessary items just to get a few extra bucks. So, after a few days I got it towed to T&Js. Although it took a bit longer than expected (wasn't mad at all about it since they got busy) but since T&J reps didn't add unnecessary tasks and clearly communicated with me the whole time, the final job only cost me $804(both front ball joints & arms, CV and a new axle). I cannot thank each employee at Tom and Jerry's enough for being compassionate to my situation, communicative throughout the process and not overcharging me for parts/labor. If I could give them a 100/10 I would, and I will be recommending them to any person I come across in need of some auto repair. I'm only 1 of 336 reviews now, but I can tell you for sure that the employees at T&J treated me like I was their #1 customer and I appreciate them for getting me safely back on the road for a fraction of the cost. Jose was absolutely wonderful! He went above and beyond to help me get my car fixed. I absolutely recommend Tom and Jerry's. Have had several shops and mechanics rip me off and mess up my car so I was Leary, but they are totally the real deal. GREAT service and prices. I had a really good experience here. Their initial inspection was really thorough with photos that were sent right to my phone so I could see everything recommended with my own eyes. Once I agreed to repairs they waved the inspection fee, which was a nice gesture. Happy with my new tires as well. Definitely recommend.

I had a great experience with Tom and Jerry's! I was able to drop off my car when we agreed and pick it up before they closed. I took my car to them because the mechanic shop I was normally going to didn't hear the issue I heard. I brought them here to Tom and Jerry's and turns out it was my breaks - don't want those to fail on you. I was happy with the communication, service and price. It was incredibly great value for the work.Definitely will be returning for more work to be done in the future.

I came here after calling about 5 other auto places to get my oil changed two years ago they were the first and only mechanic to charge me under $100 for a conventional oil change. As a woman, I never felt uncomfortable coming here alone, and everyone was always really nice (heavy Dad energy). I ve been here several times since I ve been on campus for a bunch of small stuff (nail in tire etc) and they always have things fixed quickly and cheaply. Big fan of this place. I ll be hard pressed to find a new mechanic as good as them since I ve moved away.

Kevin fit me in before Christmas. I had a car part hanging off my undercarriage. Loudly scraping the ground while driving. The guys squeezed me in that day and took care of it. Good, local people. I've had plenty of work done there. Very happy with their work.

I highly recommend Tom and Jerry s! They don t add things unnecessarily to what is wrong with car. I don t know another place to take a car that you can fully trust like atom and Jerry s. They are both personable and professional. These guys are the BEST. My Ford explorer was overheating because of a water pump leak. The dealership quoted me $4000 and Tom and Jerry's fixed it plus some extra routine maintenance for $2100 and they had it finished in less time than the dealership. They took pictures of everything that needed serviced so I felt comfortable they weren't doing unnecessary work. They were so nice to me and overall their customer service is just so much better than a dealership.
