Long overdue review the folks at JAM Shop Auto Repair are absolutely wonderful! On 1/2/24 I was leaving Columbus and headed back to Maryland - a nearly 5 hr trip. My vehicle started making a grinding noise. I called a couple places, and JAM told me to bring it right over and they d work me in. Driveshaft and bearings were shot. If the part they received had fit, they would ve had me back on the road that day. The lady in the office was in constant communication with updates. They went above and beyond to get me on the road early the next day. Bonus: They are dog lovers and had a gorgeous pittie girl in the office. I can t thank them enough! Excellent work at a reasonable price. Excellent customer service. 1000/10 recommend! If you re in the Worthington area and experiencing car trouble, go straight to JAM!

Going to JM Repairs proved to be a unique and rare experience. We did not have repairs done here, however I can attest to this.... Jason and his wife Jo are incredibly helpful, polite, and honest. Please read this review.I took my elderly brother's Tacoma in to have the running boards reinstalled after Toyota installed an entirely new frame due to a recall.Jason politely informed me, that due to changes in the frame, the running boards that had been removed were no longer usable. They were just scrap at this point from rust damage. He also left the truck on the rack so we could talk details....Without my asking, he informed me that my brother should not settle for a low price when he sells the truck, because of these repairs done by Toyota. Jason's advice will certainly earn them thousands more than they would have when they decide to sell this vehicle.He cheerfully let me take photos of the under carriage to help my brother get a great price on the truck and also pointed out all the improvements that had been done. He spent 20 minutes with me for no gain on his part. What kind of business does that anymore? Well...Their kind of business. I sure appreciated them. I strongly suspect you will too. If I lived in this area, Jason and Jo would certainly be my go to in the event of repairs. I truly can't emphasize how impressed I was with their service. We have been really happy with this shop. We ve taken our car in a couple times. They are very nice, reliable and honest. Their prices are reasonable. They have great communication. We are thankful this shop is right around the corner from us. We will be loyal customers.

Highly recommended shop for anyone new to town looking for a trustworthy repair shop. I had an emergency repair needed driving home from work. I called JAM 5 minutes before closing and Jo promised to fit me in the next day on the shortest notice. My car is older and I didn't want to put too much money into it at this point. They were very clear and honest about what repairs were important given the situation with the car. Checked my alignment after the repair and said it didn't need it, saving me $100 on the initial estimate.Services: Steering & suspension repair, General repairs & maintenance, Brakes

This auto shop treats you so well and does incredible work.I have a bmw and they have a specialist that was able to look at it, fix my severe suspension problem and rotate my tires even tho bolts were stripped.Not only we re they able to do all of that, they said maybe it ll be done in a week and I had it back in 2 days completely finished. They went above and beyond to update me with price, problem and timeline with great speed. They ve earned themselves a repeat customer that s for sure.

honestly, I have a difficult time trusting new auto shops with my cars. But since moving to Columbus I needed to find a shop and I am so glad I found this one. They have never over charged me and thoroughly explain everything so I have a full understanding of exactly the problems and solutions. This is the most honest mechanic shop on Earth. They were so kind to me, this was literally the best experience I have ever had getting my car repaired. I am not over exaggerating. I came into the shop without an appointment needing a headlight bulb replaced (which on a grand Cherokee is a huge pain). Jason and Jo are awesome and took great care of me. Super nice, quick, and I paid way less that what I was quoted at another shop. JAM team did an amazing job with my Kia Optima. They quickly identified the issues, ordered parts and made repairs. Jo provided me a quote for the work and when it was all settled price came in under. In 46 years I cannot recall the last time that occurred. I live out of town and work in Columbus and will bring my vehicles here from now on. I recommend JAM to any and everyone. Incredibly nice, honest, thorough, and responsive business. Take your car here.I can't say enough about how great this place is. I was told I needed new shocks by a nearby business and was quoted a ridiculous amount. I took my car to the JAM shop to get a 2nd opinion. The receptionist was lovely and the mechanic there was very nice and efficient. They were able to obtain the parts I needed in less than a day and gave me a much more reasonable quote. Turns out they were able to fix it without replacing my shocks, and fixed additional issues I had in my car. They were very thorough in testing and repairing to make sure everything they did fixed the problem (with multiple test drives in different weather environments over the days). On top of that, they communicated every step of the way. I ended up paying literally less than 4% of what the other place was going to charge me. Great business and I'll be sure to go back.

Great bunch of people. Honest and accurate with what they do. I m in Florida purchasing a vehicle in their area. I called them up and they picked up the vehicle and inspected it same day. They found a couple of small issues I was able to take back to the dealership for some extra money off. Thank you you so much for your help!

My husband and I tried many different auto shops throughout Columbus in search of a place that was affordable, did quality work, and felt worthy of our trust. After many expensive bills and constant car problems, we found JAM Fix! The staff is always friendly and explains everything in detail, they get the work done quickly, and they do things the right way. We finally have peace of mind after taking our car to JAM Fix.

JAMFix is awesome! It's hard to find experts who are both super-honest and super-capable. They are both. They generously give us maximum time, value and education every time we have a question. Really amazing how much help they give even over the phone.I also trust them completely with my daughters' vehicles, knowing they'll explain everything clearly to them, just as they would their own family, and always giving candid and accurate assessments to minimize costs in both the short- and long-term. It is always refreshing to find a business that goes the extra mile to ensure customer satisfaction due to their commitment to service, keeping costs reasonable, and providing a high level of knowledge and trust.Jason and Jo provide that kind of exceptional business at JAM Fix Auto Repairs. I take all my car repair issues to JAM Fix and am always confident I am getting the highest quality work and lowest reasonable prices, and I trust that only necessary work will be performed. They provide great advice on what needs to be fixed now, issues that may come up in the future, and estimates of mechanical life on potential problems that can wait. JAM Fix has just replaced front brakes that Jason told me last year could wait until now when he repaired just the rear brakes back then. In the past Jason found a small leak in my radiator during a checkup before a long trip to Minnesota that was an easy fix then, but could have been expensive if we made the trip as it was.I highly recommend JAM Fix for all your auto repair needs and know you too will find them honest, reliable, and very competent.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Electrical, Auto engine diagnostic, Auto engine tuning, Brakes

I originally scheduled my car with them because I was having brake issues, but then remembered later there were other items that needed attention. The office manager did a great job of time and expectation management, and ultimately everything that needed fixed was completed. Such a pleasant experience with after hours drop-off and pick up. We had an electrical issue with our brand new camping trailer. A close friend recommended that we take it to JAM Fix and we are glad that we did. We had no idea what the issue was as we just bought the trailer. Jason was very thorough and figured out exactly where the issue was. He documented everything and we were able to get the cost of repair covered by the manufacturer thanks to Jason. Will definitely be coming back for other repairs. Thank you!Service: Electrical

I have an old 2002 Sequoia that I've taken very good care of but after time things just start to fail. I found Jam based on reviews and asked them to give my truck a once over so I could decide whether to get rid of it or not. I knew I had suspension problems and was quite sure there were other things needed (244,000 miles). Jason took the time to sit down with me and gave me a complete analysis of the truck. No pressure as he did tell me there are a lot of miles and there was some work that had to be done (some immediate, other when time permitted). He did tell me my engine was sound and I had a decision to make. He offered a schedule on the repairs at very reasonable prices and the more I spoke with him the more comfortable I got. We joked that my truck would become his truck if I keep it and before I knew it I had an appointment set for the suspension. Service was excellent and it rides like it did the day I drove it off the lot in 2002. I have another appointment set for next month and am confident that the results will mirror my first visit. I'm feeling another 100,000 out of this old beauty and Jam is going to help me get there - for a lot less then the monthly car payment I would have been looking at.

My wife and I have been taking our cars to Jason and the JAM team for 10 years. They are professional, thorough, and honest with what needs to be done now and what can wait until later to fit our budget. I have never trusted a mechanic more in my life. I regularly refer friends and family and they all agree that this place is the best in Columbus because they have your family s best interest at heart.

Jason has been servicing our vehicles as long as I can remember. In fact, I had always just taken my cars to the dealership before and I can so thankful that I found JAM Fix. They are honest and won't try to talk you into repairs you don't need. They have even evaluated used cars we were looking to purchase. I love that I am the person who has a trustworthy mechanic when friends as "does anyone have a mechanic they like?" I am usually the first to raise my hand "oh, I do!" If you need an honest, reliable, reasonable mechanic, call these guys!

I can't rave enough about my experience here. Jo was kind and thorough on the phone and even made sure I could pick up my car around my work schedule. Jason did a fantastic job of repairing my thermostat and took care to verify there were no other serious issues.Truly exceptional service from wonderful, honest folks. This will be my new go-to place for auto repairs. Highly, highly recommend this shop!!

A Mom & Pop Shop with HEART.Jason, Nathan, and Jo are honest, hardworking, helpful and my heroes. They say what they mean, and they mean what they say. No BS. Just good, honest, caring car maintenance at a very reasonable price. Off the beaten path, but well worth the effort.Just had the 90,000 maintenance done on my Subaru. Once again, the JAM Fix crew did an excellent job. On time, on budget, and super friendly atmosphere. When I dropped my car off, I forgot to mention that one of my AC vents in the dashboard had dropped back into the dash. How that happened is still a mystery. But, a few days after I picked my car up, I noticed that the vent was back in place and working just fine. Evidently Nathan or Jason noticed the problem and just went ahead and made it right. That's what I call SERVICE. Well done, guys!

Went to the dealership to have my seatbelt catch fixed and came away with a list of items that needed fixed. Decided to get a second opinion, so I called JAM. Jo was so professional and she knows her stuff. Of course I didn t need the items fixed on my car. I only needed preventative maintenance completed, which I gladly had them do. Jeff did a great job and my car is running perfectly! Love the honesty that I was given. I would highly recommend them to anyone.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Auto engine tuning

I stumbled upon the JAM Shop by accident when my car broke down nearby. The breakdown was unlucky (bad crankshaft sensor), but discovering this auto shop was very lucky! Been brining both my cars here for years now.
