Usually in the world of car care it turns out to be a crap shoot. One mans greatness is another mans disaster. This review is all about a GREAT experience I had with Scotts Auto Repair.My Olds had developed a rather large squeak/chirp and was chewing up my serpentine belt. I called the establishment and Scott answered and advised that I bring my car in the following morning. He advised he would call with a diagnosis and cost involved with repairing my vehicle.Several hours later he called and presented a good news/bad news scenario...Good news= easy fix (crankshaft pulley). Bad news= the part was not to be found anywhere locally. The great thing was that Scott not only checked locally but NATIONALLY and AFTER business hours. Outstanding.Luckily, we located a used part in Springfield and I picked it up the following morning. Two hours later, car was fixed at a price that was WELL below average for crankshaft pulley replacement.To verify that the experience wasn't a dream come true I asked another customer about their experience with Scott's and received a glowing review. Seems Scott's has been her trusted car care specialist for well over 7 years!Do yourself a favor and take your auto to Scott's for both repairs AND preventive maintenance! You'll be glad you did!

I m not going to give them a bad review because their staff was pleasant on the phone and who knows I might use them in the future. My issue is they re listed as auto glass repair on Google when I called they said they don t do auto glass . Kinda false advertising. I would just refine the key words on Google so people don t waste their time. I still gave you 5 stars.Service: Auto glass repair

i've known scott for over 15 years he has done work on my chevy and dodge truck hes very knowledgeable in his profession i would highly recommend scott's complete car care thanks scott

My opinion is as follows:These guys are scammers. They only install their own parts so that they can up charge the hell out of you. There is absolutely no problem installing parts independently purchased from reputable retailers, except many mechanics (not all) are some of the biggest scammers (like lawyers) in that so many up charge you and make you pay far more than you should or is reasonable.An employee tried to charge me $540 to change a stabilizer bar, which is a completely unfair, scammy price. Again, I think these guys are scammers who rip people off. Just my opinion.

Great experience getting our car serviced here. Called in on Thursday and spoke to Scott. We explained what we were looking to have done and Scott very confidently explained the service, gave a quote, and provided a realistic timeline for when the repair would be done. We dropped the car off the next day and they had it back to us ahead of schedule and for what was quoted. Definitely felt trustworthy and experienced. We will be back next time our car needs service!

I had a great experience with Scott! I needed break pads, rotors, and an oil change. He got my car in quickly and had everything done in less than a few hours. Fair price, honest about what needs done vs. what is optional. He did such a good job that my friend took her car the next week and also had an awesome experience.

Great service! I was having issues with starting my vehicle, i dropped it off at 9am & got a call around 11am with what was wrong & the pricing, and then my vehicle was ready same day just a few hours later. I ve also had my radiator replaced here as well, job was done the next day after dropping it off. Highly recommend. Fair pricing & doesn t delay the service. Thanks so much Scott!

My family has been a customer of Scott's for 10 years and half a million miles. Knowledgeable, trustworthy and fair. We squeeze every mile we can get out of our cars and having a mechanic that I can ask "What would you do if it were your daughter's car?" and get an honest and thoughtful response is invaluable. Here's to half a million more miles.

He fixed the water pump and power steering belt 2005 Chevy impala for my daughter for one never checked the power steering fluid to add did not check the lines for leaks overcharged because he thought he was being paid through a hope fund never will he touch a car of mine my daughter drives the car but the car belongs to me he is lucky I am in this stage of my life because buddy he would know my name I suggest NO ONE TAKE Your Car TO SCOTT

My husband and I are well pleased at the information and service we received on our truck. This was our first visit to Scott's Complete Car Care but we will be back.We came in with some basic information on the repair needed. We also went to a different mechanic with this information but they said more needed done. We came to SCC and without even pulling the truck into the garage he knew what needed done.We are thankful to find a truly honest mechanic.Thank you to Scott and thank you to those who have previously left a review so we knew to go there.

Very friendly people and awesome service. I was personally impressed when I was told that everyone working there could drive my standard transmission. I've been to several shops that asked me to drive my car in and out of the bay because it's a manual.

Scott is great! I have a specialty vehicle, and he was very willing to do some work on it. He had to order parts from a place in Toledo, it he said it was no problem. I have had a very difficult time finding someone to work on this vehicle, and now I have a great guy for the job!

Fast and thorough. Scott will give you price repair options. Did some work for us in mid-2000's and again this week. Five stars both times - if you get a nasty quote on an exhaust system from a Midas or Monro, call Scott.

This place is a blessing from God. I had my catalytic converter and oxygen sensor stolen from my car and needed a fast repair. Scott and his team had everything taken care of quickly and efficiently.

They still do $29 oil changes and in about 15 minutes too. Great deal and your if car has any outstanding issues, see Scott on the repair side. They have 2 bays for oil changes and 6 or 8 for repairs.

Scotty is very honest and trustworthy our family has taken many cars in for repair. Scotty always tells us yes this needs repair or not. He doesn't rip you off.

Very bad attitudes terrible service!!!They not nice people at all. My truck was broke down in front of there place they just looked at it? Why not see if I needed assistance? But, no why do that I didn't pull in, what about common courtesy and decency? I would never spend my hard earned money here.

I take alot vehicles here on the regular. Ranging from a jeep Cherokee to diesel trucks. Everything's always done properly, timely, and at a fair price.It doesn't hurt that is easy to do good business with great people.

Trustworthy work. Good pricing. If you have to get some exhaust repair done, you should go to Scott's, even for just an estimate.

Husband dropped his car off and key the day before and he checked the next day to find out the problem and I had to take him to pick it up. Never had any major problems from them.

I have been getting my car serviced here since 1990. EVERY car I have ever owned has been serviced here. I know my car is in very capable, professional and helpful hands! Highly recommend.

These guys are the real deal!!! Scott is great and my car was in good hands. Most mechanics try to rip u off, but not this place.
