I have to say I am impressed. They did everything that I needed and asked. Then to top it off, I received a letter making sure my van was okay. I will definitely use them again. Pettys took care of the Brake lines on my 1992 Chevy G20 Van a few weeks ago. I went here because it was close to me & had great reviews. I was super pleased with my experience, they started work on my vehicle the morning I dropped it off and finished it up before the day was over. The communication was professional, informative and honest. I ve done quite a bit of my own DIY work on the van but the brake lines were out of my comfort zone. Having some mechanical knowledge, I can tell when a mechanic is BSing me. Pettys did no such thing, it was refreshing to experience a shop with a straightforward approach and integrity. They even followed up with a letter a few weeks after my repair to ensure things were all good. Happy to report that Pettys fixed my brakes the first time, and I ve been all set since.Highly recommend 10/10Service: Brakes

I was driving through Cleveland on my way to Kentucky and started loosing air in one s of my tires. I just pulled off an exit and the shop was right there and had them checkout the tire that was going flat. The tech came right over found the problem and fixed it. I was back on the rode to Kentucky in 20 minutes.Great job! Thank you so much.

I had concerns when I went to Petty's, car repair can be a scary situation.Finding experience and honesty with the customers best interest seemed to be impossible to find.Petty's proved me wrong!Yes, they do charge the going-rates, however they more than proved their worth.I am not affiliated with the in any way, beyond being satisfied customer.I am familiar in car maintenance, I know what to be weary of.Whether routine or a challenge, these guys are seasoned and sensible.I recommend without hesitation.

My car is finally running! I had a battery draining problem for months and two different dealerships in town had absolutely no clue what was the problem after I spent 2k with them.My friend told me about Pettys, which was gonna be my last hope before I give up on my car. They didn't get it at the first try but they were able to follow up and actually found the problem.Petty's is not cheap but it is totally worth the price tag.

I hired Petty's a few months ago to repair the differential on my 2002 Firebird. They completed this complex and involved job in a timely fashion at a fair cost (no surprise to me). Fast forward to this week, and I dropped my car off for an unrelated problem. While Petty's was troubleshooting that problem, they noticed an issue with the differential (which was not apparent to me) and brought it to my attention. After getting my approval, they opened it back up and found some issues. They ended up having to rebuild the entire differential again to solve the problem. This was all completed for FREE under warranty - again, the problem was so subtle that I had not even noticed it myself. The car is now back in my hands and it runs better than ever- the differential is even quieter than it was; it's now completely silent and feels and sounds like new. Petty's did not have to undertake this substantial work as it likely would have gone unnoticed by me until after the warranty was up. But they went the extra mile and just earned a customer for life. Thanks Nick and everyone else for all your diligent efforts.

I've taken cars here several times over the years when my regular, nearby mechanics weren't comfortable with digging into electrical problems. We're talking old cars (more than 10 years old) that are worth maintaining but that aren't worth spending a lot of money on. Each time the mechanics/electrical guys discussed the problem knowledgeably, and each time they fixed it at a reasonable price -- and didn't "over-fix" it by installing expensive OEM parts and doing unnecessary diagnostics. I've always been very pleased with their service. Turnaround times were decent. This is a no-frills, get-it-done kind of place, not a franchise with a shiny customer area and lots of marketing and forms to sign.

I called a little after they opened to get a quote on a full service tune-up and oil change. The guy who answered the phone sounded annoyed and rushed to get me off the phone when I couldn't tell him the engine size on the brand new vehicle I had purchased. When they called me back, which was pretty quick, the guy quoted me a higher quote than I had received from 4 other shops, and many necessary services that should be included were not... So If be paying more to get less.These guys came highly recommend, but my experience was disappointing. I'm definitely going to look for another shop to work with instead.

A lifesaver. We were having major issues with our Honda and immediately felt we were in good hands. They were knowledgeable, service-minded (answered the phone every time), and explained the problems in detail. The fix came in a very timely manner and the cost was in the expected range. We've now found our go-to mechanic in the Columbus area.

Had an issue with my 06 Ford Ranger recently (loose bearing on drive train or something). Saw this shop close to home that was reasonably well-reviewed. Took my car in, spoke with Nick, and while they weren't able to replicate the issue, they did look over my car and make recommendations (without giving me that doom-and-gloom scenario lots of shops love to give) and told me there was no charge as they couldn't address the original issue. So far, my car is doing fine, but if that (or any other) issues come up, I'll be taking it back to these guys. Thanks.

Petty's is fantastic at diagnosing problems with cars. I have taken my old Toyota to them, and when I recently took my wife's Ford in to them, they asked me how my car was doing. They have always been reasonable, and they can tell you what you absolutely need to fix, and what will need fixing in the future to prevent costlier repairs. I highly recommend them. They were able to diagnose problems with my wife's car that the dealer were not able to diagnose.

My father Bill Petty started Petty's Auto Service in the early 80's. He always provided great customer service and went above and beyond to help the public. He worked very hard establishing the business and making sure the work was of high quality. It is so nice to see that this is being continued.

Petty's took great care of my classic Camaro. They were able to effectively diagnose a repair outside of my ability. Undaunted by a carbureted engine, timing, etc., Petty's has the knowledge to fix the problem without relying on a computer read-out. Not to mention, the repair was made to look factory - they appreciate the aesthetics of a restored car. This shop attempted to charge me $160 to change a $30 headlight. I know mechanics overcharge women but this is horrific

They are the place to go for electrical issue hands down. My van has been sitting for a while and I needed computer and wiring harness for it. They trapped the mouse who broke everything and now I have that mouse running on a hamster wheel generating electricity to pay for my very reasonable bill.

I was referred to Pettys by another car repair shop. I had an electrical issue that this other shop was unable to trace. Pettys diagnosed and repaired in a very timely manner. They were great to work with! I highly recommend.

Great place to get your vehicle fixed repaired or what ever the case ,great friendly customer service ,led by owner and Master Technician Donnie Zaiser,also the incredible team that he is accompanied by makes Pettys Auto one of the best Automotive Garage's in central Ohio hands down ,for great service repairs and more ,if your having automotive troubles i highly recommend Pettys Auto ,just an all around great experience and reasonable prices

Not a fan. They wanted a four hundred dollars to fix my high mount break light. I fixed it myself for 30-cents, three years ago, and it's still working a-ok.
