Brought in my 2001 Olds Aurora for Mike to see why it wasn't starting, running right. He took the time to figure out it had a blown head gasket most likely. He was very honest about my options, which weren't many, especially considering the amount of money it would take to get this old car in running order. He was extremely patient about me setting up a time for a tow truck to pick up the car to junk it. Thanks Mike! Appreciate your time! I'll be contacting you soon about another vehicle.

I've known Mike for about 40 years. You will have an extremely difficult time finding a more honest, experienced, thorough and overall nice person...oh and he's a terrific mechanic, too. Nothing but great things to say about my latest experience. He had my car diagnosed, gave a fair quote and had me back on the road, all in a very timely manner. Highly recommended! Thanks, Mike!Service: Electrical

I was from out of town looking at a used car from a dealer and brought it to Mike for a pre-purchase inspection. He found a lot of things that the dealer was trying to pass off and was great about walking me through how to handle the situation if I still wanted the car. I really appreciated his time and insight as well as their whole staff going out of their way to squeeze us in (even though I was late due to traffic/storm). You could plainly see how great they were to their customers and even see how much the other customers valued this business. I was very impressed and would go back in a heartbeat if I was local. Thanks Mike and staff!

Mike is a genuinely great guy. I had and issue with a company vehicle and expressed to him I needed it running in 2 days. He came to our office and did some initial test to find out the computer was bad.He arranged for a tow to his garage where he could remove the master cylinder to get to the computer.Once he pulled it out it was very obvious it was full of corrosion. He put it in another computer and returned the truck with in 3 hours of leaving our office. If you need a mechanic that can fix your problem without trying to sell you something you don t need, Mike is your guy. He is now in my contacts and will be the first person I call for my entire fleet.

Mike totally came to my rescue after my car battery died. I needed someone to come to me because I didn't have anyone at the time around to jump start me. He brought the battery and installed it in my apartment parking lot. Also, Mike is a very kind person, gave me great advice about making sure to give my car a good 30 min drive every week, run the heat, the AC, etc., and also shared some nice advice on getting body and soul through the pandemic.Service: Battery

If you are looking for quality work, the technicians are good. But if you want your car repaired the same day, find another mechanic. Every time I brought the car in I had to wait up to two days for a repair. My car was in at 8:00 AM and I finally called @ 5:32 PM to have the receptionist tell me that I just missed Mike and he is the only who could tell me about the car. Once again one whole day without knowing what's wrong with the car, how much are the repairs and when will the car be ready. Not again.

Mike's auto repair is the best mechanic shop on Morse road. They have great customer service and they are helpful to explain exactly what's wrong with your car. I took my car in because my break line wasn't flared and they fixed it same day. I will be coming back to them for anything wrong with my Honda. They have really good prices too.

Had a great experience at Mobile Mike's. When I called to explain my problem (tire was leaking & almost flat), they were kind, listened to me fully, and told me to stop in any time that day. I came in later without an appointment and my tire was repaired in about 45 minutes. No one tried to upsell me (as the other reviewer said). They just fixed my problem in a timely manner and were incredibly nice in the process. I'd recommend getting your car looked at there, especially since the food at the taco truck in the parking lot is delicious.

I had called Mike after having taking my Land Cruiser to a mechanic that had told me I would have to replace my entire center console nav screen/climate control assembly because of a fuse box that melted. They quoted me $2800. I called Mike to talk about it and he pointed me to an auxiliary fuse box that housed the nav/climate fuses. I replaced those and BOOM the thing worked again. Mikes fantastic and I ll definitely be going to him if I have any more electrical issues.Service: Electrical

I called Mobile Mike's and talked to Tim about a problem with my windshield wipers not functioning properly. He asked me to bring it in the next day, which I did. He asked me if I was in a hurry to get my truck back and I told him no, to take his time, that I just wanted it fixed right without putting a lot of money into the fix. I was surprised when he called me the next morning and told me to come by and pick up my truck that it was finished. He only charged me an hour's labor, which I expected to pay just for the diagnostic work. I would recommend this repair shop to not only family, and friends, but to anyone looking for an honest set of mechanics. Tim is knowledgeable and kind, the shop is clean and their work is on par with any automotive repair shop I've ever visited. They just won themselves a repeat customer! Thank you, Tim!

Mike has always worked on my big F350 dually truck. He has always treated me right. His prices are fair, his employees always courteous, and his guest area is always clean. I was having problems with belts, Mike put in an FCI belt and fixed the problem - these belts work great! I would recommend Mobile Mike to family and friends.

BEWARE! CAR STOLEN FROM SHOP!I called the shop on Friday, June 24th, and spoke with Mike (the owner). I advised Mike that I was having problems getting my car started and I asked if he knew what the issue would be. While I was on the phone with Mike, I was able to get the car started, so he told me just to bring it in and he would take a look at it. I arrived at his shop around 10:30am. The keys were left in the ignition so that he could bring the car into the garage to diagnose the issue without him having a hard time getting the car started back up. I came in, filled out paperwork, spoke to him briefly and had my ride come and pick me up. I received a phone call from Mike at 11:59am stating that my car had been stolen. The car was parked right by the window where he could see it, and he advised me that he had been watching it, but he's not sure what happened. After I contacted the police, as well as my insurance company, I went to the shop to pick up the paper that I filled out when I dropped the car off. On the top right of the paper he wrote that the car was stolen off the lot at approximately 11:30am, which mean that my car was left running outside for an hour! If he wasn't ready to work on the vehicle he should have brought it in the garage, not leave it outside running for an hour! Save yourself the time, money, and the stress and take your car somewhere else!!UPDATE TO OWNERS RESPONSE- Like I've stated above and several times It was only left running so that YOU could bring it in the garage ...not leave the car out there for an hour while you claimed you were "watching it" I would have never left the car out there if I would have known that you weren't pulling it inside right away. You can put the blame on me all that you want but that still doesn't change the fact that you were negligent and too lazy to pull the car inside no matter how you try to spin it!

Went to Grissmer for new tires, and they said I needed a new wheel bearing to the tune of 400+ bucks. Went to Mobile Mike and they said it would be okay for another 10-20k miles or so. I really appreciate their honesty, and I don't think you'd find another mechanic's shop with that level of honesty.

Mike takes care of my 2009 Honda CR-V, my wife's 2008 Kia Spectra 5 and my son's Toyota van, the one MY grandchildren ride in. I have known Mike for many years and I would not think of going any where else for my car needs. I have referred many of my friends here and he takes good care of them as well. Thanks Mike for being there for us.

We bought a 2006 Chevrolet Equinox from Jeff Schmitt and of course before we decided to buy it we told them that they needed to look at the brakes because they didn't feel right. They serviced the vehicle for free under the condition that we would purchase the vehicle in mid-February. They said there was nothing wrong with the braking system but said a ball joint needed replaced and kept the vehicle for 4 days, while they provided us with one of their vehicles to drive. The braking still felt the same when I got it back and I thought maybe I just needed to get used to it even though I thought there was something wrong. Here we were at the end of June and things started feeling very wrong, the left front tire was making noises and you could smell the horrible smell of brake dust. The tire got so hot that we had to pour a gallon of water on the tire to cool it off. We called Jeff Schmitt and received a quote on what it would cost to fix the caliper, brakes and replace the rotors. They gave us a quote but didn't go into detail of what could also be wrong with it, Midas tried to sell us both calipers, brakes and rotors. We called several other places and all were quite pushy. The very last phone call we made was to Mobile Mike's. I spoke to Tim and he was very knowledgeable and he talked me through what could have happened and everything that could be involved (caliper, brakes, rotors, and brake hose collapse). He told me he would call me back once he got the parts estimated. When he called back he gave me an exact estimate that included tax and labor, and he also explained what parts he would be using and why it was important to use these particular parts on the Equinox. Immediately I felt comfortable and knew we could trust this shop, even with an ever so slight higher quote than the rest (which I will say included a brake hose that nobody else even included), I knew I could be assured they were using good quality parts for the money; whereas the other shops would have used the cheapest parts to be able to pocket a load of profit and the parts would last maybe 3-6 months, and that the work that would be done would be quality as well. I could tell they are in business to make your car safe and last. We ended up taking the vehicle in on June 30th around lunch time (knowing that we were told the vehicle would not be done until around noon on July 1st - the following day) just so that they had it and could look at it when they wanted on June 30th. I get a call at 5:00pm on June 30th, 4 and a half hours after I dropped it off saying my car was done!!!! It came as a complete shock. Once we arrived, Tim pulled out the old parts and showed us what happened with the caliper on the left and the caliper on the right and explained that once it got super hot what happened to the brake hose. Very thorough they are and knowledgeable! Once I left the shop and drove home, it felt like I was driving a new car, every issue that I could feel while driving the car since the day I bought it was gone. Even though it was a caliper, brakes and rotors due to one caliper being clamped down and the other not clamping at all, I could tell a HUGE difference in driving the car that it drove smoother, braked smoother and all the way around felt much safer. I cannot recommend this shop enough. Trustworthy, reliable, honest, good people. I will be forever taking my vehicle here to be serviced as long as I live in Ohio! I cant say Thank You enough to Tim and the staff at Mobile Mike's for their impeccable service, knowledge and care!

Mike was very logical and thorough in investigating my electrical problem and resolved and repaired it the same day. His cost for the repair was very reasonable and much less than what the dealer would have charged just to diagnose the problem.

Mike fit me in on very short notice and quickly identify the issue. The Price was very reasonable, especially since the problem has been plaguing me for over a year and several other mechanics have looked at it and been on able to diagnose the problem. I ll be going back again and again.

Everyone is really nice but normally you get an estimate before you are charged a huge amount. I got an oil change and they checked out why my car was sluggish. Total cost was $153And I got only an oil change for my time.

I called and set up a day that Mike told me he would come out and try and diagnose the issue with my truck, the day he was supposed to come I had spoke to him he said he was going to pick up some equipment and then stop to my house. I had waited all day for him and even called to see what the issue was with no response. I could have went to work instead of wasting a day. Very unreliable.
