For $180 I could have gotten a little more value for my money. Brought my car in because it was pulling to the right under speed. They did a slight adjustment, insisting that it had been within spec and that the alignment was not causing the pull. Took it to the dealership today and they confirmed that although it was within spec, the drive wheels had a matching .5 degree misalignment that was causing the drift. Would not recommend these guys for troubleshooting or for cars with finely tuned specs.

Excellent service on short notice. I m so grateful as I had been traveling out of town for work. Mike found the problem my other go-to repair service missed. Mike s goes above and beyond to identify other concerns that need attention too.

Our student son drove to campus and the power steering went out while driving into the parking lot. I searched online and spoke (from home, two hours away) with what I believed to be the best car mechanic candidates. Mike s was the clear standout!Mike s was very: responsive, accommodating, thorough, and competitively priced! Our son s exact comment: Got the car, it sounds and drives great . I very highly recommend Mike s and I will share this experience with the campus FB parents group. My son will also tell his friends. Thank you!!!

Not good customer service. All I did was give them a call to request a quote for non-OEM installation for them to quickly shut me down and hang up the phone. Pathetic business

Extremely honest, does great work, fair prices, and Mike & Mary Jo were an absolute pleasure to do business with.Living in Cincinnati my whole life, it is a bit nerve-wracking to have to find a reliable mechanic in Columbus who would do me right but I am glad that I visited this shop as it will now be my new go to. Couldn t recommend them enough!

We've been going to Mike's for more than a few years now and have nothing but positive things to say. Mike's as fair as the day is long and an even better mechanic. Our cars are older Volvo's (2001 and 2011) and he does a great job, but we threw an '85 Chevy S-10 at him a bit ago and he helped us get it back on the road. Everyone at Mike's Foreign Car Service provides friendly, professional service. They repaired our car quickly and when we had a follow up requirement they got the car back in immediately and fixed what was needed so fast we had it back the same day! Mike and his team are the most reliable auto service providers I've ever worked with. If you re reading reviews and considering taking your vehicle here, stop right there. Save yourself the time of considering anywhere else. I ve taken my vehicle and my wife s vehicle there, always 5 star service and experience. Upfront, beyond fair pricing with a family owned business who you deal with directly. This is someone who stands by their professional opinion, takes the time to walk you thru every detail and answer any and all questions, provides appropriate estimates and diagnosis without suggesting or pushing you into unnecessary repairs. I wouldn t go anywhere else and never will. Go see Mike, you ll be happy you did.Services: Brakes, Oil change

Our daughters car would not start someone referred us to Mike's. I called Mike's and they told me it would be Monday when they could start working g on the car. We had it dropped of and they secured the vehicle inside their shop over the weekend. Sure enough, Monday morning Mike called me to discuss what needed fixed, he quoted me a price. I asked him if he would make look the car over a d make sure everything else was good with the car. This is my youngest daughter's car so I wanted to make sure all was good. Mike called me on Wednesday and said the car was ready, but we would need to replace the sway bars soon. I asked him if he would just go ahead and replace them. Of course he said he would be more than happy to. We picked the car up on Thursday, and to our surprise it was about $15 cheaper than quoted. Everyone e I dealt with was very helpful and friendly. We will not take our vehicles to anyone else going forward. I would highly recommend Mike and his team. Thank you!

Went to Mike s on a whim after moving to Ohio and needing a reliable mechanic. I was expecting to have to search extensively for a good mechanic but luckily I found Mike s first! I can t say enough good things about this shop. The receptionist was warm and helpful. I m extremely impressed by how honest, friendly, yet professional, timely, thorough, detail oriented, and efficient this shop is. I love feeling like I spent my money well- and I feel great spending my money here. For as long as I m in Ohio and as long as Mike runs that shop I will be using this mechanic. Give Mike all your business! I was in Columbus for a job, drove in from Nashville, and my brake lights and other lights were on...all the things you don't want happening when you are out of town and need to get back home the following day. I read the reviews, parked my car in front of their door, dropped my keys in the dropbox, left a note as I had to be at my job before they opened. When I did called once they were open, they were backed up but Mike himself promised he would take a look to make sure it would be safe for me to drive back last night. Not only did he do that, he made a long list of things that need to be attended to, topped off the oil and brake fluid, confirmed it was just a bad sensor and nothing that would prevent me from coming home safely. When I asked for what was the charge...he said, the consult was free. I was like, "No you made time for me, when time isn't what you had." To which he said, "Just pay it forward. We all know what it's like to have car trouble far away from home." FAITH IN HUMANITY FULLY RESTORED! He did what he didn't have to do...he did say he was desperately in need of a good mechanic...anybody who wants to work for a truly wonderful, honest, good human, apply at Mike's Foreign Car Service. 10 STARS! Superb, friendly, and HONEST service. Mike and his sister are genuinely good people. I took my 14 yo car in because I thought I needed new brake pads and rotors. Mike called me and asked why i thought I needed them replaced. I told him because of the grinding sound they are making. He explained that what I am hearing is the sound of rust scraping because he correctly guessed that I had not driven my car in the past year and half. WOW! Had i taken my car to any number of other places, I am certain that I would have been told that I needed all new brakes plus a bunch of other stuff as well. I cannot recommend Mike enough. I recently purchased a BMW X3 a few months ago and now needed an oil change. After asking around I was referred to Mike's, so then I googled them and came across some awesome reviews. From the receptionist to the actual repair the service was great, efficient, professional, and it was also affordable! I felt so welcomed! When Mike called me to tell me that my vehicle was ready he also informed me of what to look out for in the future concerning my vehicle. I was recommended to Mike's by a friend. I called to talk to them about my car issue and they were incredibly easy to talk to, helpful, and easy to work with. They fixed the issue I was having, did a diagnostic for a different problem, and gave me some other recommendations for my vehicle without charging any extra costs. I was very impressed with the shop and everyone I spoke with! I don't know a great deal about cars and feel that everything was explained to me clearly and I wasn't taken advantage of at all. They did a great job and I will go back next time I have an issue. After going to a Toyota Dealership and having the opposite experience (nothing was explained to me and I was never able to directly speak with a mechanic but a "messanger") I highly recommend Mike's Foreign Car Service. Mike and Greg are great.

Instead of taking advantage of me he gave recommendation that would be in my best interest even when that meant losing my business. I greatly appreciate the integrity of Mike s Foreign Car Service. I ve been going to Mike s for 10+ years now, he and his staff are excellent to work with and always treat me extremely well. Whenever I am due for a check-up, I always tell him do whatever needs to be done because I know that he has my best interests in mind and would never do more than what was needed at that time. He also does a great job communicating on what will need to be done in the coming visits. They excel at identifying what your needs are and responding to them in a very positive way. I feel like they have great knowledge of car maintenance and repair. Mike s company is of excellent quality in terms of workmanship and customer service. He is always up-front with me and doesn t push services that can be done at a later date. I started using him about one year ago after I graduated OSU and needed a dependable mechanic. I always feel well taken care of & have the comfort of a peace of mind. Last week my car wouldn t start so I had to tow my vehicle to his shop after three particularly draining night shifts. He got me in same day and didn t charge me after a full inspection. It isn t often you find someone who isn t trying to take advantage of your car problems but Mike is dependable!

Mikes is great!!!!! Being a woman it's scary taking your car to a shop alone but Mike and his staff make it a good experience. They were very honest, genuine and had my best interest in mind. I would highly recommend my friends and family to bring their cars to him.

I have been a customer of Mike's Foreign Car Service for over 15 years since I first moved to Columbus. His business was highly recommended to me many years ago, and I have always been pleased with his work and superior customer service. I have saved a great deal of money and time because I drive older cars that receive regular maintenance from this business. Service is quick, efficient, and extremely dependable.

Mike recently did a third party inspection for me on a gently used car I bought. He fit me into his schedule quickly and took time to explain any and all of his findings. Prior to taking my car here, I had been driving an hour south any time I had car issues because I did not have a mechanic in the Columbus area that I knew and trusted; after my recent experience at Mike s, I will definitely be bringing my car to him for any future service or problems!!!

My family and I have been trusting Mike with our cars for as long as I can remember. If you want an honest opinion on your car or if maintenance is really needed right now - ask Mike! He's a trustworthy, stand up guy who has saved me a lot of money and hassle throughout the years. You better believe I recommend him to everyone!
