The staff is kind, efficient and very helpful. My vehicle had a pretty big job needing done but they went above and beyond to get it completed. I highly recommend and will continue to get my car serviced here!

Did a great job repairing damage from hitting a curb, hard. Very knowledgeable, good at finding used parts to offer great price. Didn't try to get me to fix a bunch of other stuff "they saw needed fixed" but did recommend things to consider getting done. Which turned out involved a warranty recall part known to have that issue.

Saved me from a $5000 repair. The dealership told me I needed to repair/replace the electronic control module (ecm) after coolant temp leaked into the harness and shorted everything out. After I heard the cost, I took my car to Hughes. Hughes wasn't seeing the same issue with their diagnostics. For $200, they were able clean everything and the transmission issue I had was gone! They drove it all weekend and it never acted up again. Would I use Hughes again??? Hell ya!! Quick to respond, very professional, and did not take advantage of this woman who knows nothing about cars :-)Service: Auto engine diagnostic

I had my car checked by two different mechanics and neither one could fix the problem, I was told about Hughes Automotive by a friend. I took my car over there and they diagnosed the problem right away and had my car fixed and out the door at a reasonable time. I fully recommend if you need work done on your car, call Hughes Automotive a business you can trust. I most Definitely will go back.Service: Auto engine diagnostic

I had my vehicle towed to Hughes from a difference automotive shop that was unable to diagnose what was wrong with my vehicle. The mechanics at Hughes had my vehicle for a couple of days and after two days of do the diagnosis they determined that there was water in my gas tank which no one else diagnosed. Mr. Paul at Hughes called me one Wednesday around 4:30 we gave him a call at eight on Thursday morning and he was calling me before noon to tell me my vehicle was fixed and that I could come and pick it up. I would just like to thank all the mechanics that worked on my vehicle and let you guys know that I greatly appreciate your service and your time. You guys little excellent job my vehicle runs like a different car!

My family and I have been going to Hughes Automotive Service for over 25 years and I strongly recommend them for anyone who is looking for an honest and highly qualified auto repair service. Tom and Bill are extremely knowledgeable and look out for the customer's best interest. My car over heated near Hughes Automotive and I needed help obtaining coolant for the engine. The customer service they provided me was very professional and pleasant as they provided me coolant and got me on my way.

I will never go to another mechanic! Have been going here for years, have never had an issue with repairs, timeliness of the repair and the price has always been more than fair! I am confident that what they tell me is truthful and not just trying to make a buck on unnecessary repairs. Seriously, I went through a lot of mechanic shops in the area and not a single one ever impressed me the way Hughes does every time. Try them, you won t be disappointed!

My family and I have been bringing our cars here for 7 years. They always get the job done in a timely manner and are very reasonable with their prices. I highly recommend Hughes and I wouldn t take my car anywhere else besides here.

I had an exhaust bolt break on my car. A local dealership wanted to replace the whole exhaust system which would have cost me over $800. Tom at Hughes Automotive had me come down the same day I called and was able to fix my issue for a fraction of the cost and the job was done in a couple of hours. Going forward, I will take my car here for my automotive issues. Thanks for the great service.Service: Exhaust

Let me start by saying that I work on cars and have an understanding of the process. I currently have European cars and they are very complicated. These guys have been honest and upfront. Bill and Tom are professional and personable. They even provided transportation after I dropped off one of my cars. They saved me a ton of money. A-Team transmission misdiagnosed my car and wanted to charge me almost 5000 dollars. Hughes found the problem in a day and charged me 500. These guys are as honest as they come. Regardless of where you live in the Columbus area bring your car here!!!!! Especially if you have foreign cars.

All of our vehicles are worked on by Hughes Automotive and they do a fantastic job. They have quickly diagnosed the issues, communicated what was needed and completed timely.We will continue to take our vehicles to them. Members of our family now go to Hughes Automotive for their repair needs.

Was told to bring my BMW here because the people who work her came highly recommend. when I dropped my car off it was in bad shape. Now that I got it back it runs GREAAT. I have had the pleasure of dealing with this company for 10 years now. Most recently I needed car repairs and had no clue on how I would pay for the repairs. They worked me like I was part of their family and race was definitely not a problem. NOT TO MENTION THEY DO OUTSTANDING WORK.

I just picked up my 06 Sante Fe from them after waiting 24 hours to have them diagnosis the problem. Initially over the phone the guy was nice. When we went into the office he was sorta arrogant, like rushing us as we were explaining the problem. He told us we would have a diagnosis around 1pm today. My boyfriend called a few times with just being told they hadn't got to it yet. The last call made was informing them we were coming to get the car since it was now around 430 PM with no call. The man went off and stated to just come get the car.The older man at the front desk us very rude and I warn anyone not to go there. Not trying to use the race card, but maybe they dont want blacks in there establishment.

Worst experience I've ever had! They kept my truck for 3 weeks and after the first 2 weeks of not hearing anything other then it's in the shop being worked on right now from the employees I call and ask for the owner to see exactly how everything is going he said we havent touched your truck because we dont have a diagnoses but no one called me to tell me that my car had just been sitting there for 2 weeks. After me being told by others multiple times it was being worked on then. Moving on to week 3 they called me and said they got the diagnosis and that they spoke to the warranty company and told me exactly what was covered by warranty and what wasn't. I agreed to have the remaining amount paid for they told me they are going to pull it in the shop and get to work. A couple days go by I recieve a call from the owner TOM stating they need like $6000+ nothing's covered but a little bit of stuff they will need that to start working on my car after the original amount was $749.99 prior (which I agreed to pay) he kept saying they dont work free told me I need to take my truck somewhere else to come get it. Tom was very rude and unprofessional, communication between employees and the owner sucks. Come to find out TOM found a transmission for my truck for $4000+, and my warranty company already had one for $3200 that the warranty company brought to his attention and after speaking to my warranty company everything he said wasnt covered actually was covered. TOM the owner is nothing more then money hungry, he was mad he wasnt going to make the profit off the transmission he found because my warranty company had one cheaper. He expected me to just pay instead of following up with my warranty company. NEVER WOULD IRECCOMEND THIS PLACE TO MY WORST ENEMY OR ANYONE WHO WANTS FAST AND HONEST SERVICE. HUGHES AUTOMOTIVE DEFINITELY IS NOT THE PLACE!

Last week my car 2012 Chrysler stopped in middle of heavy traffic on my way to my to my second Job in reynolsburg i was close to this hughes and decide to walk in and asked for help. they pushed my car out traffic took me to job analyzed car ,put diagnostic cost toward repairs and it was reasonable and they did fantastic job/repairs.

Tom went above and beyond fixing my car. These guys have been fixing vehicles in our family since before I was born. Trustworthy, reliable and knowledgeable. Don t risk taking your car anywhere else.

They are not unlike most repair places but they have been able to repair most of not all of the jobs I have given them. They are always ready to answer questions and that's important to me when trying to get down to the bottom of a fix and cost!!

The only automotive repair shop I have ever trusted. Hughes never recommends work be done to my car that doesn't need done!!I always have fast and friendly service.

Im from Houston and I got referred here because I have a S500 and need the air suspension done and they did an awesome job a little pricey but it was well worth it

The staff was professional, friendly, and worked to quickly address the problem. All preliminary indicators point to a good outcome. Odd credit card policy, but overall price seemed in line with market rates.

Very poor customer service and way over priced for car repair he is double than must car repairs in the area. I would not trust him with my car. Anytime a car repair sales cars you better watch out! Your could be up for sale next skip this place don't risk having your car rip off!!

Tom showed me (and I used to be a mechanic, albeit not a great one) what was going on and asked me what I wanted to do. He and his staff did a great job. My girl keeps running like a champ thanks to their great work.

I had a steering coupler replaced. This was NOT an easy project and they knocked it out. Very pleased and I highly recommend them.
