I went to Great Lakes Hyundai with expectations of being turned down. Zack, my salesman, walked me through the entire process and helped me negotiate a deal I could afford on a sweet new ride!!! He was super friendly and dedicated to service and making me happy. Zack just earned my repeat business!!! I recommend asking for him by name!!!

Great Lakes Hyundai off Morse road lost my business when they lied to me about a nail being too close to the side wall to repair. They told me I need to replace all 4 tires and quoted me over $1,700 for the current Michelin tires that came on it. That was too high so I took it to a friend s shop to get a second opinion and they said the nail could be plugged but I should get new tires. I paid $720 for 4 brand new cooper all weather tires that look great.

Nathan, my service provider, met me with understanding and expertise, immediately calming my anxiety.Throughout the diagnostic process, Nathan kept me informed every step of the way. He explained the needed repairs (a tune-up and more) clearly, outlining the exact costs and options. This transparency was a breath of fresh air, eliminating any pressure or surprises.While picking up my car, I discovered two new woes: a flat tire and a forgotten item left inside. Cue Nathan's superhero moment! He not only called me back to personally return the item, but also offered to fix the flat right away. The guys in the shop did a great job as always and I appreciate their effort. They were accommodating and maintained good communication throughout the process. The only complaint I have is that under new ownership, my lifetime alignment will not be honored. This is garbage and I will not bring my car back for this reason. Since I bought the alignment, I ve made the dealership my go to for everything maintenance related to my Santa Fe. Without it being honored, I ll just take my car someplace closer and cheaper.

I was here in March of 2023 and I had very poor service while getting my oil changed. The manager called me back that day and offered a free oil change my next visit. Unfortunately, not sure when it switch to Great Lakes Hyundai but the message was not on my account. I went into Great Lake Hyundai and the manager honored the complimentary oil change. I appreciate the transition and will continue servicing my car with Great Lakes even though I now drive 1 hour to get here. The service I m receiving is worth the trip. Thank you!

Bought a used vehicle from Great Lakes Hyundai of Columbus last week and the process was pretty painless. Vehicle was available, price was as posted online, Eric was not pushy and easy to work with. The process took longer than I would have liked it to (we were there for about 4 hours start to finish) but they made us as comfortable as possible while we were there. Car was nice and clean when it was presented to us at the end. Would recommend this dealership and Eric!

I felt I was unwelcome because the gate was not open even though my car seemed to be close enough. (I do not want to drive my car too close.) After about 5 minutes, finally someone noticed my car was staying there for a while. He (Desmond) gestured my car should move forward. Then the gate finally opened. Overall experience at the beginning was worst (plus raining outside). The rest is okay. It needs more time to examine the quality of repairing service.

Best service I ve had at a dealership. They started working on my car immediately after I arrived. The waiting area was new and had a window into where they do their work so I saw what they were doing with my car the entire time. They send updates to your phone, actually checked everything, and were way quicker than the time I was quoted!

We had an engine failure at only 60k miles. We had the 100k warranty on the engine as long as it was not caused by my own failure to maintain the car. After the techs inspected the engine, they were quick in determining the cause was due to a parts failure. I was not even asked to provide any maintenance records, even though I had them. Desmond and Nate were great to work with at Great Lakes Hyundai Columbus East. The crew did a great job replacing our engine in a reasonable amount of time, the dealership provided me with a brand new loaner car until the repairs were done. And Hyundai stepped up to the plate with the engine repair. I will always use this dealership and not the one in my home town. Very Satisfied...

I had a wonderful experience at Great Lakes Hyundai of Columbus! I had a couple of recalls that needed addressed and from the moment of drop off until pick up, my experience was incredibly positive. Everyone I interacted with was authentic, helpful and professional. I was greeted and addressed right away, they didn't try to upsell me at all on any other products or services and my car got a wash when I picked it up! Seriously, awesome group of people. :)

Purchased my 2023 Hyundai Tuscan here. The entire experience was easy and they were great to work with. I brought my best friend to this dealership when she was looking for a new vehicle and her experience was great as well. Always friendly, honest, wonderful service. Highly recommend!

I like the new waiting area and being able to see the vehicles worked on. I also like the hot drinks available, adding cold drinks would be a plus.I gave 4 stars because I had read that we could have our car washed with service and asked about this when I was checked in as I did not know if it included being there for a recall. I was told yes. However, my car was not washed when I picked it up and I could have inquired why but did not want to go back in and deal with it.I do like your new name.

On Monday I brought my car in for routine maintenance. When I checked in, I was told my service would cost $89 even though I have complementary maintenance as part of my lease. I was told that I should have selected a different option when booking (an option that was not available to me). She did end up waiving the charge, thankfully. The time it took for the service to be completed was very long and not only that, but I saw my car was pulled around after being finished and it sat in the garage, ready, for around 20 minutes before anyone came to let me know that it was done. There is no reason it should have been that long of a wait when it was already finished. I had brought up a concern about one of my tires and when I finally went to go checkout, they told me that I had already denied any additional service on the tire - even though NOBODY came to talk to me about their findings at all. I asked for a quote for a new tire and was told it would be $198 plus ~$30 in labor to replace it. I wanted to get some quotes elsewhere so I did not commit to buying a new tire at that moment. When I called back later to move forward with getting the new tire, I was quoted the same amount and told that the labor cost would not be charged until I brought the car in. Minutes later, my card was charged for $265. When I called back to ask for a breakdown of the charges, nobody was able to provide that to me and they told me they would email me the invoice. When they emailed me finally, they claimed that the "systems were down" and they were unable to provide a line by line receipt for the charge. When I brought my car in to get the tire replaced the following day, my car sat there for over an hour before even being taken back to the garage. The entire tire replacement took over 2 hours, much longer than I was quoted. And when I was provided with the payment receipt, there was still no indication or line by line itemization of the $265 charge, other than a $246 charge for the tire plus taxes. It's incredibly shady that I was quoted one amount, charged another, and nobody was able to provide me an itemized receipt for why I was charged that amount. By the way, the total charge would have been $265 PLUS additional labor fees if I hadn't complained and they ended up waiving the labor charge. However the total cost is still way more than I was quoted. I am BEYOND disappointed. This is my 3rd Hyundai that I have leased and I absolutely will not be leasing through this dealership again or utilizing their service department. All I can say is do better.

Nathan is a fantastic GEM to this organization! Even a couple of the mechanic guys that came out to access my vehicle's issues was amazing!!!!They made me feel comfortable, relaxed, and at ease that my SUV were in good hands!Sadly, I cannot say the same for the WOMEN!!! They was very standoffish, didn't speak, although they noticed everyone that came in with an appointment at 8am!!! Therefore, they choose to behave the way they did! Smh... After a while, I didn't care! I wanted them to keep their distance, right along with whatever attitude or issue that was weighing on them so early in the morning!Now, we've ALL heard horror stories, or experienced personally, taking your car for repair and was hit afterwards with a bill equivalent to heart surgery, or a root canal, or your car drove worst than it did before you brought it in for a repair or a recall!!!However, that WAS NOT the case here!I drove away COMPLETELY SATISFIED and HAPPY with the cost!!I am originally NOT from Ohio, so my talkative kind manner tend to throw folks back! Some even gives me the side eye, while others start mumbling & chanting under their breathes out of fear, only to realize that I want NOTHING from them!!!!But all while sitting in the waiting area I've met some WONDERFUL people who also relocated here to be near family! They were just as friendly, kind, and talkative as myself and I hope their experience was just as PLEASANT as mine! GOD BLESS!!!*Starbucks lady

The day after I bought my car, the catalytic converter went out. So far they have been very slow at doing anything to make this problem right. I am very upset and would not recommend purely based off of the poor customer service and the lack of willingness to do the right thing. This happened less than 24 hours after purchase . There is no reason this should ve happened that soon after, and the poor communication about what is possibly being done to solve this problem is nothing short of disappointing.

I bought a car from here it was used Chevy prob something they took in on trade before got it home engine timing chain acted up made noise. They put it In shop great service when realized couldn't be fixed they gave me my money back there stand up people nes the supervisor could have probably kept my money but realized it wasn't my fault felt my pain and gave me refund things didn't work out perfect but there very honest good people very nice working with you all sorry things didn't work out this time they have outstanding service and I'm keeping my eye open. For any vehicles great lakes may have that would fit my needs in future thanks for all help nes

I was not aware of changes in the dealership with the new owner; but was helped by a service person. The oil change was done quickly and the person who handled my appointment was very helpful and did some things for me that were not part of the oil change i.e. synced my self phone with car. Very helpful,

Was recently a victim of car thief and took it to Great lakes hyundia to have repairs done. It took awhile but that was to be expected with all the car theft happening. Keena was great to work with. She sent me update via text to let me know the status of my car. She worked with the insurance company as well. Thank you to the team for fixing my car.

Service on my car excellent. But I bought a wheel alignment for life of my car from Dennis Hyundai, and you will no longer honor that service. I feel ripped off. I'm not sure if I will be back or go somewhere else.

Deceitful, can't be trustedAfter the included free oil change put an oil sticker in the car for a short oil change interval.Why do they want you to come in for oil changes more often?:1 obviously to make money on extra oil changes.2 they want you to get you in the habit of coming to them for repairs.3 they want to inspect your car to find things to fix... This is actually the most important thing, if they can get you to come in regularly and look at your car regularly they will be able to create more service work and get to it before you get the chance to take it somewhere else.While it was under Dennis, it was reasonable and trustworthy, under the new owners, untrustworthy.
