Fogle's was recommended by a friendly neighbor. Fogle's explained everything and gave me options, did quality work at a good price. I had been expecting to need brakes - got the brakes, plus lots of other work including synthetic oil change, new battery, new tire pressure sensors, and more, all for what I would have expected to pay for just the brakes at the dealer. Now my car is in tip-top shape and I can feel confident to drive anywhere in the country.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Oil change

This is the second time I have been here for service. First time was for brakes and rotors, went great. This time my '17 Santa Fe wasn't starting consistently, left me temporarily stranded twice in less than two weeks. The second time it was running really rough. Took it in thinking it was one of the fuel pumps going bad, he theorized that it may be bad gas (possible water in the tank). Of course by the time I drove it to him it was no longer running rough and started right up. He called me and offered to check the tank to confirm. I agreed and he verified the pumps were fine, gas at the engine contained no water, and no water in the tank. He suggested trying some dry gas, always filling up at a reputable station with lots of traffic, and never filling up when the tanker truck is on site. I have done just that and knock on wood, no problems since! I appreciate the honesty, integrity, and experience.Service: General repairs & maintenance

Came in on the snowiest disaster of a morning and they were able to rush in my car for a headlight repair that turned into much more than that. Super friendly and knowledgeable. Used him before for an oil leak. Professional service. Worth the price. I have been bringing all the cars in my household for about 5 years now. Dmitriy is legitimately the only mechanic I have ever met that I'd trust to work on our vehicles! He is thorough and detailed, and up front about costs! We've brought at least 7 cars from my family alone over the years, plus several friends and neighbors have gone with him as well. I can't say enough good things about his shop and service!(I only took this long to review because I thought I already had.)

I have the utmost praise and respect for Fogle's. The service and treatment I get here is so far beyond any other automotive service I have ever used! Dmitriy (the owner) is incredibly competent and honest, and is very knowledgeable about any make of car. He has always called me promptly with really reasonable estimates, and usually has the car finished before I expect it to be. Fogle s Auto Service on 161 is absolutely the best car repair/service provider that I have encountered. I am a proud customer of Fogle s and Dmitri for four years now. We have been taking our cars to Fogle's for several years. Demitry is normally very busy, but he manages to fit us in. He is very familiar with our cars, and only makes suggestions about repairs when he believes they are needed. He uses quality parts, and explains what he is doing before he makes the repairs. He also is very knowledgeable about tires and tire repair/replacement. We recommend him highly.

I have been a loyal customer with Fogle's Automotive for going on ten years now. My first appointment at Fogle's concerned a supposed engine problem that according to Good Year would cost $1500.00. After a brief investigation, the owner, Dimitri informed me that the problem was nothing more than a couple of loose bolts that connected the engine to the frame of the car. The cost for the fix ended up being less than a $100, I've been a loyal customer ever since. The staff at Fogle's are knowledgeable, fair, friendly and above all honest. The last trait mentioned there, honesty is hard to come by these days, particularly when it comes to most auto mechanics. I recommend visiting Fogle's to all of my friends and family. If your in the market for a reliable auto mechanic and not in the business of being cheated or mislead, then take my advice and give Fogle's a shot. I guarantee you wont be disappointed.

My family have been going to Fogle's Automotive for more than 10 years and can not imagine taking our cars anywhere else for service. Every time is another great experience. Quick diagnosis, competitive pricing, exceptional follow through, excellent service! Dima does great work, on- time, at more than reasonable price! We would not hesitate to recommend him.

I have always appreciated how honest and simply Dmitriy explains my car issues. I feel pricing is more than fair for the extra care and small things he fixes that he finds while working on other issues. I always recommend Fogles to anyone looking for a reliable, trustworthy mechanic and will keep going there as long as I live in Columbus!

I have been coming to Fogle's Automotive for a couple of years now, and I couldn't be happier with the service they have provided me. Dimitri is a good, honest mechanic. He has always done exceptional work for me, and in a timely manner. About a year ago he replaced an incorrectly installed air intake on my engine, and my car now gets around 3-5 miles more per gallon of gas. Just recently he replaced my power steering belt, changed my oil, and drained my transmission fluid, and all for a very reasonable price! My 14 year old car now drives like it is brand new again! If any problems come up in the future, I won't hesitate to take it to Dimitri!

My husband and I have been going to Fogle's Automotive for the last 17 years. Whenever we have had any issues with any of our cars we have always gone to Fogle's for excellent, superior and fair service. We have gone to other places for service and then went to Fogle's to find that the other shops created work that was not needed. Since Dimitri has been there as a shop worker, and now owner, we have relied on his awesome expertise in the automotive field. We have have become good friends with him and have always referred his shop to other people.

Dimitriy has provided service to my family's vehicles now for 12 years. He has been creative and always communicates issues that may or are pending. He has saved us a few thousand dollars over the years by managing the service that is actually required to meet or actual need as opposed to what we ask for.He always details out so anyone can understand so they make informed decisions. His honesty is very refreshing. His overall knowledge is exceptional and allows him to be such a trusted expert in the automotive field. Dmitriy is the best mechanic in Columbus. If you need someone to work on your car, stop looking and call Fogle's. I originally came here based on a friend's recommendation. Dmitriy had rebuilt part of his engine, and 40k miles later, it was still going strong. Luckily, I haven't had any major issues with my vehicle, but Dmitriy has done a great job keeping my car in top shape. He does things the right way, uses high quality parts at cost and charges a fair rate for labor. I can't recommend this place highly enough!

Always good honest knowledgeable work provided. Better than fair pricing. Dmitriy is always courteous even though he is always busy. Our neighbors reccomended him & we are so grateful. We reccomend Dmitriy at Fogle's to everyone now. An honest mechanic does exist! I have always been treated the same as my husband - respectfully! You won't get talked down to here if you are a woman or not knowledgeable about auto repairs. I highly reccomend Fogle's!

Honest and knowledgeable! Having 4 cars, we are in constant need of repairs. Dimitri has been able to take care of us from working on a rear differential to doing a heater core flush. He has found alternate ways to repair things which dealers have told us would cost us hundreds (like repairing a wire instead of the entire read window defroster). He does not rip you off or trick you into unnecessary, costly repairs. As you can tell, everyone knows him by his first name! Very personable and professional. He is upfront about the repairs, cost, and time involved. I highly recommend Fogle's Auto Service.

It is somewhat rare to find auto repair shop that is this good and HONORABLE. Most places make the need for repair seem dire and push to get the job. This place took tome to diagnose the problem with my car [free] and suggest the repair without pressure.They mentioned the problem was not a critical fix and I could do it or wait. I am going ahead with the repair, because of Demetri's honesty and integrity. Fogle's has worked on my car for years, from basic maintenance to major work. I would highly recommend them to anyone, for any car, and any work needed. Oh, did I mention they have very good prices? Fogle's Automotive provided the best service I have ever had in Columbus. My RSX needed a new transmission, and the Fogle's Automotive team did an excellent job with the installation at a very fair price. The owner, Dmitriy, is very nice and offers a very good price for his excellent work. I would recommend Fogle's to anyone in central Ohio!

For years, my Dad has talked about Dmitri and the outstanding, reliable service he provides at Fogle's Auto Service. This August, I was able to experience this firsthand. While visiting my family in Columbus, my tire pressure light came on. Unfortunately, it turned out to be more than just a flat tire. Being from the East coast, my metal tire valve caps had corroded on to two of my valve stems. My Dad consulted with Dmitri who offered a can of "miracle spray" and the directions on how to use it. Upon trying Dmitri's suggestion, we promptly broke a valve stem. Oops. (It worked on the other stem!) The AAA tech that came to put on my spare told us that it was going to cost an arm and a leg to replace the valve stem. Great. We called Dmitri. Not only was his price quote a FRACTION of what the dealership would charge, he had it done in one day (time was of the essence because we were heading back to Maryland) and, without being asked, Dmitri replaced all five of my metal valve caps with plastic ones. I appreciate Dmitri's honesty, efficiency and overall good business. Wish we had an auto repair service like his out here in Maryland. Thank you, Dmitri!

I have used Fogle's for repairs on several occasions. Dmitriy takes the time to explain in detail the work that needs to be done before starting the work. The work is done correctly the first time and on schedule. I feel very lucky to have found a mechanic I can count on every time. I have recommended Fogle's to several of my friends and family and they too have had excellent results.

Replaced the starter on my son s Honda Civic and I can t say enough about how great my experience was. Fast, fair, friendly and clearly knows what he s doing.Got the car fixed in less than 24 hours and even gave it a once over and let us know what to keep an eye on.This will be our shop for future repairs on his car and once our warranties are up for our newer vehicles.Highly recommend!!!Services: General repairs & maintenance, Oil change

I have had my first experience at Fogle s as of 10/4/19. My mustang gt had a bad throw out bearing which caused some issues with my clutch. Dimitry was quick to diagnose, and very helpful and knowledgeable. He will go above and beyond to make sure you're car is fixed properly and will be honest with you. As of 10/8/19 the vehicle was fixed and the clutch down right works better than it ever has! He knows his stuff and will explain exactly what is causing the issue and willingly answers any questions. The car has a design flaw causing the Bearing to make noise even when brand new, I brought it back this morning at 8am and by 1pm dimitry had custom fabricated a spring to stop the noise. I was informed why the noise was there and why the spring fixes the noise. I ve never had a good experience with a mechanic shop until now. Thank you dimirty and Fogle s. Five star experience

There is no better team of mechanics than Fogles, not just in Columbus, but I have yet to find a better one anywhere I've lived. My SO and I drive older cars with a lot of miles on them (a 98 and 03, both over 140k miles), and I credit still being able to drive it to Dimitriy and his team at Fogles. He is the only mechanic I have ever had that I feel like I can drop off the keys with him and say "It doesn't feel right, please tell me why." He's honest, he has a lot of integrity, and his prices are more than fair. I have recommended him to several people, and no one has ever been disappointed.Sadly, I moved away, and I couldn't take my favorite mechanic with me. But even after moving, I called him with a question and he took the time to help me. He really is the best there is!

This autoshop is so amazing, they take their time explaining things to you. Multiple members of my family have been taking their vehicles here for over ten years now. Dmitriy, the owner is brilliant! Your car will be handled with utmost care as if you are a family, because in Fogle s you are treated as such. And they try there best to get the job done in a timely manner. But they can take as much time as needed because you know it will be done correctly. You don't find good, loyal service around here anymore. But you will always find it here, very respectful, honest, and always going above and beyond, and take care of the problem. Prices are very affordable and that goes a long way these days. They will explain all the work that is getting done to your vehicle: things that need to be done right away, things that could be taken care of later, as well as things that don t need to be done at all. Keep up the amazing work. I appreciate your company and the things you do.

There may not be a more honest person in the service business than Dmitri. I took my daughter's car to Firestone to have it checked out because of a funny noise. They "found" over $800 worth of repairs that were needed including new tires (which were 65K mile tires purchased from Firestone and only had 26K miles on them). They also wouldn't do anything about the tires other than give me a minimal discount on a new set. So, I took my car to Fogle's at the recommendation of my nephew and Dmitri verified the tire issue but, ruled out anything else as being necessary which cut the repair in half.I've since brought a couple cars in for service including my own for some brake work. His guys inspected it and pointed out a minor issue causing some noise but, also that my brakes were fine overall and that nothing needed to be replaced. He did all this and then didn't charge me at all for looking it over in the first place. He also got it done by the end of the day even though I didn't bring it in until mid-afternoon (with his lot full of cars).Bottom line, I won't be taking my cars anywhere else for service, ever.

Fogles Automotive service has always done a great job on my cars and I have been using them for several years. Honest and knowledgeable mechanic who never does un needed repairs. The owner also takes his time to explain what is wrong with your vehicle before any service is done. They have always gone above other repair shops in there service and I feel like they really care about timely proper vehicle repair with no short cuts.

I absolutely recommend Fogle s Auto Service. Dmitry is an incredibly knowledgeable mechanic who will take the time to thoughtfully diagnose problems with your car. My husband and I both drive old cars ( 99 Honda and 05 Toyota), and Dmitry has taken his time with each to give us honest feedback concerning diagnostics. And his repair work is fairly priced and impeccable. Take your car there!!

Reasonably priced service. I had 3 of my cars serviced there,from basic brake service to more complex engine work, the job was done very well. Mikhail and Dmitry know what they are doing, and compare to other shops the parts they are using are more high quality, so they last longer. I would recommend Fogle's service to my friends and family. Great guys and great service. Honest and dependable.

I just started having my car serviced at Fogle's Automotive, and I could not be happier. I discovered them based on all of the other great reviews that I found on the Web. I had taken my car to a national chain to have the brakes replaced. After spending >$1300 on brakes, rotors, and a wheel bearing, my breaks were making terrible noises. I also needed tires; therefore, I visited Fogle's. They were very helpful, honest, and quick with the repairs. They replaced the tires cheaper than the national chains, and they gave me advice on how to get the issue with my breaks resolved. The information that they gave me allowed me to go back to the national chain and have my breaks repaired without allowing them to take additional advantage of me. I was able to talk to them with expert knowledge, showing them that I would know if they tried to overcharge me again.I strongly recommend Fogle's automotive!
