I love this place, they treated me right and did a great job. The entire experience was well doneMy first interactions with them in person, was when I dropped my car for repair. I figured I could walk home in an hour or two, and when we were finished and I started walking away they asked is no one picking you up? When I said no, they insisted on driving me home. Very glad they did, it started to rain and it would have been horrible.They replaced the front bumper and side panel on my Buick enclave. They found damage that I had missed, and it looked new when they were finished.They talked me through how to fix an unrelated problem and how to get the part. A kindness indeed.On another occasion, I had a light out in the interior gear shift console that three places declined to repair because it was so difficult to get in and replace the bulb (and they could not believe I was willing to pay to have it done). On a whim, I asked them if they thought they could do it. Their response was yeah we got a guy. That light had been out for 18 months. it is so nice after all this time to finally have a working light in my gear shift lever in the console. I happily paid them.When a side mirror was damaged, I simply called them. They fixed it for less than the dealer charged my dad for the same car model and repair.Just go there. They are amazing.Shout out to the man who drove me home, I'm ashamed to admit that I do not remember your name, but you have had a very interesting life I really enjoyed meeting you.I did not bother with pictures of the car because the repairs just looked new...

I just had my car repaired here after I hit a deer, and they did an amazing job on it!! They could not have done better, I am very happy with the work that was done, and everyone is super friendly and helpful!! My car parts were in quick and my car was repaired quickly as well. It looks so good!! 10/10 recommend combs collision for body work and painting!Services: Painting, Body & Trim

I wouldn t have needed to leave a review seeing I did not have any work done by them, but just for the sake of letting others know before they take their car here. I had a dent in my door and fender and initially wanted the whole fender replaced which is what they quoted me for. Brent offered me the option beforehand to just get the dent out and buff/paint over the scratches. I declined at first. But after looking over the estimate later the same morning, I called back to get a quote over the phone for just pulling the dent out. Brent flat out lied to me and said that it would cost MORE for them to only get the dent out. How does that cost more when I m not getting a whole piece of my car replaced for $2,600 that he quoted me? Glad I dodged this place with my business!

Took in my 2016 Civic to get some estimates done after a accident and the staff and my adjustor was very nice and caring about the issue. Gave me honest advice and made everything swift with insurance. Felt very safe here and would give them further business in the future!Service: Body & TrimService: Body & Trim

I had to schedule an appointment and they're busy enough that it took 4 weeks from inspection to getting it in for repair. However, their professionalism and service are top notch. They coordinated with the insurance company and the rental car company to make it easy for me. Their inspection was accepted by insurance without any additional work on my part. Once they had the vehicle they kept me informed. Best of all the repairs and paint matching looks great. If you can endure a little waiting, the results are worth it.

If I could give this shop 10 stars I would. Diane and Brent are absolutely wonderful. They were very diligent in finding what the problem was with my vehicle and literally did whatever they could to fix it and did just that. We have had good experiences in the past so when someone hit our car we went to Combs for an estimate. We got an estimate and filed a claim. When the insurance company(Erie Insurance) asked for the estimate, Combs changed it to be $1400 less. The owner, Brent Morris, didn't write a new one, he changed the original. He was pretty honest about it. He says he is a Direct Repair shop for Erie Insurance and gives them deals and can only charge them so much.So $4000 for Combs Collision & Body Shop to fix my car for me, but for Erie Insurance to pay out, Combs Collision & Body Shop thinks it should cost $2500.doesn't seem right to me.

They could not do anything for me but Brent took the time to look over my vehicle, even though he had to leave for a Dr. appointment. He was very polite and explained the complete process to my satisfaction. It was an hour round trip for me and I found out they are only open on Monday and by appointment the rest of the week. Still Brent helped me. Great business

This is a family-owned business.I've had my bumper replaced here and this was honestly the best service from a car shop I have ever had. Brent, one of the main workers there, provides excellent service and when I called to check up on something or get extra things fixed after my original car fix, he just told to swing by and was able to see my car right away. He is amazing and kind. I would refer my friends and family to this place over other shops in Columbus..Services: Painting, Body & Trim

I called to schedule an estimate for my front bumper which had pulled away from the quarter panels on both sides. They are pretty booked so it would be a while. When I explained what it was & the urgency (wanting to take the car on the interstate) the receptionist said to bring it in that day & at least someone can take a glance to see if it would be something they could schedule sooner. When I got there, Brent came right out & took a look. Although quite busy, he said he thinks he could fix it quickly - went to the shop, got a few tools, & fixed it in 10 minutes! And for a VERY reasonable price. I appreciate the flexibility they demonstrated from the front office to the expert at repairs. Thank you!Service: Body & Trim

Have had 2 experiences with Combs. Just got my car back today from most recent incident....the whole side of the car was damaged and part of front was as well....had to be towed to shop. It came out of shop looking brand new!! These guys are so meticulous and so very talented. On top of that, the front office person (I cannot remember her name), was very friendly!!! My car is beautiful!!! Looks brand new!!! They did great work and even got my car back to me a few days earlier then expected. They were so helpful and polite, took care of everything with our insurance company. Every one we worked with made a potentially stressful situation stress free!!! So happy with the body work on my car and service!!

Absolutely stellar service, my vehicle was severely damaged and they fixed it beautifully. Shocklngly enough it drives better now than it ever had. They were not only timely but kept me informed through the entire process, Brent and Diane were so kind I can t say enough great things, I hope they receive the accolades they deserve ! I hit a deer over the weekend on my way into work and this was the first shop that popped up in the list provided by my insurance. They got me in quickly for an estimate, the employees I interacted with were all polite and got things done quickly. My car was looked over and within a few minutes I had a reasonable estimate and a possible day (dependant in my schedule, not theirs) to get scheduled to have the work completed. Hopefully I never need them again, but so far I would definitely return if necessary.

Combs Collision made a stressful situation so easy for me! Had my car looking brand new and made sure I was satisfied through and through. Great customer service all around as i felt valued and that i was in good hands. Definitely will go back if i have to!

This place is outstanding!! The GM was super friendly and professional. The girl who helped me with my paperwork was new, but already knowledgeable, really nice and friendly. They had arranged the rental company to pick me up (I didn t even have to communicate with Hertz myself), and my car was repaired in two days! Not only that but they cleaned and vacuumed the inside of my car! That was a really nice surprise. Totally recommend this shop!

AWFUL! Wouldn t recommend to my enemy. My car was involved in a hit and run before Christmas. I dropped my car off to Combs despite requesting a tow in my work order. When I dropped off my vehicle the assistant manager was so surprised that I was there and even made a comment that clearly it was not drivable. Well of course it wasn t safe to drive but waiting on them to contact me for a tow wasn t going to happen. My car was in the body shop for 30 days and during that time I did not receive ONE word from them regarding my vehicle. No timeline. No update. No estimate. Only please come get your vehicle and pay us our money . Seriously, what an utter waste of a deductible. When I addressed this with both managers and owner, it fell on deaf ears. Excuses were made as to why my situation clearly fell between the cracks. The owner even compared my situation to paying your bill at a restaurant, stating paying my deductible was how their guys get paid . No mercy was spared. No sympathy given. In fact, Brent the assistant manager barely apologized. I had to call him out for him to even acknowledge that this was clearly an error. This family owned company is clearly a monopoly and is not out for the customer but for themselves. I m hoping this review spares some naive person a lot of time, frustration and money.

I was visiting Ohio on a road trip this summer, and I had a fender bender in a parking lot. I had a piece of my car hanging off, and I was afraid my vacation was ruined, with no idea how I could drive back to Texas like that. After I called around to a few places (with no openings for a couple of weeks), my insurance company conacted Combs Collision for me. They saved my trip! They were so friendly and kind. The work was done so quickly on the same day. I just wanted them to make my car safe to drive home, with plans to get more work done when I returned home. Actually, though, I decided that what Combs did looked so good that I could just leave it. They are my heroes! I would highly recommend!Service: Body & Trim

I have used Combs Collision & Body Shop (2) times now for 4 different repairs. I am very pleased with the process from start to finish. The friendly, helpful staff from the front office through the process till the end has been great! They communicated through all the repairs, requests, changes, timing, etc. Would recommend and use again!Services: Painting, Body & Trim

My family has been taking our cars to Combs since I can remember. This was the first time it was my car, practically new and already with damage. My car is special to me and I trusted Combs with something so important because I ve seen the rest of my family do it for years. Brent and Josiah provide great customer service to match the exceptional work the techs do! If your ride is as important to you as it is to me, I would absolutely recommend Combs.

I went here to get my truck fixed after a fender-bender with another car. Not only did they fix the damage I noticed but they also fixed some small chipping that I did not notice when looking at my vehicle. The paint and new bumper looks great. The car looked brand new after I got it back. As an added bonus, a shimmy my car had at higher speed before the accident was also fixed. Great service here!

I was driving back from the store and knew today was the day I had to address the scuff, created by my friend of course, on the front passenger side of my car. With how busy body shops have been lately, I fully expected to be shrugged off to a later date far in the summer for someone to even look at the vehicle. I spoke to Brent when I walked in and he was immediately engaged in my ordeal. When he offered to check out the damage and give a ballpark estimate on the spot I was ecstatic!Brent took a second to check out the damage and gave me a very good description of what needed to be done. He pointed out a hidden crack in the paint that I never saw originally and explained how to gauge the severity of scuffs and scratches. The ballpark estimate was exactly in the ballpark where I thought it'd be. When he offered to see how much he could correct the aesthetics of the damage right then and there, I was shocked!Brent took time out of his busy day to grab all his supplies and was able to drastically conceal the eye sore. He is a true professional and I know when it comes time to get this issue permanently corrected, I'm taking it to Combs!

I would never recommend them for any service again. They look to cut corners, place liability of their inability for repairs on sublet and their customers, are discourteous, and continually provide false updates on the repair status.I would only recommend this shop for people who enjoy getting the run around, being belittled and repeatedly mislead, and needing a repair lifetime warranty for a place you wouldn t step back into again. 1/5 , would put 0, but it s not possible.Update:To simplify, I purchased my vehicle 5 weeks prior to the repairs taking place at combs collision. Yes, I found out 17 days into the repair of my front bumper and single wheel, that was originally advised would take approximately 1 week, that my vehicle had a single locked lug on the wheel requiring replacement. However, when I spoke with Josiah, he would not provide me with an answer as to which lug key was needed, so I contacted the purchasing dealership who provided me with the lug key information. Unfortunately, the information provided by the selling dealer was inconsistent with the custom key that was needed, it was not a simple five or six star spline. Instead of removing the lug in an appropriate time, as the representative I spoke with at Mr. Tire, stated they had advised combs collision to do, Josiah insisted on needing the key for removal. Mr. Tire suggested a simple solution, to remove the lug nut without the key, as they are very accustomed to do, and then replace it with a standard lug. As I had no idea there were locking lugs on my new vehicle, nor do I need locking lugs, I had no problem with this solution. However, this option had not come to fruition, until I myself had to reach out to Mr. Tire, as Josiah repeatedly refused to do so on my behalf. After I, the customer who entrusted timely repairs to combs collision, had reached out to Mr. Tire, the wheel was replaced in 2 days, as I was informed is customary. This takes into account the day for shipping the correct wheel, which Mr. Tire informed me had been mis-ordered by combs the first time around. Long story short, Josiah never provided the recommendation their sublet provider offered, but instead wanted me to pay out of pocket for a new key, whether he himself ordered it, or I ordered and brought to them. I explained several times that I had no knowledge of locked lugs as this was a brand new vehicle for me, 5 weeks of ownership, but no sympathy was given by Josiah. The way that Josiah speaks to customers is very much belittling, as I had my wife on the phone during one of our conversations, and she was ready to have the vehicle repaired elsewhere due to his very rude behavior and disgusting demeanor. Now, to the false updates. I have three records of times when I was contacted to pick up the vehicle before repairs were completed, once through combs directly when they advised the vehicle was in the wash bay awaiting a wash and then pick up. Pick up did not actually become available until 2 weeks after this voicemail, as the vehicle was not in their possession, but still at Mr. Tire. The second update came from my insurance agent a week before actual available pick up, when combs submitted to them that repairs were completed. The last, was from enterprise, the company they sublet courtesy vehicles to. Enterprise called and advised me that combs was completed with repairs a week before actual pick up and that I needed to bring back their vehicle that day of contact. I have thorough documentation of the phone calls and written communications. The last thing I want to touch upon, is the fact Josiah takes pride in my simplified comment by not mentioning the terrible cosmetic repair to the bumper. I have photos uploaded through yelp, where you can see the poor job they did on the bumper repair. It honestly looks as if they did not use a compound to smooth out the damage, but instead painted over the damaged area.Lastly, nice attempt to blame the terrible repairs on my insurance, as this was repaired under the at-fault third party s insurance; where you aren t preferred.

We've unfortunately had to use Combs Collision several times. They do great repair work and call several times to give updates on how the work is progressing and if it's on schedule or will take longer than projected. They will also make arrangements with Enterprise car rental to pick you up when you drop off your car, which is extremely convenient. They also work very well with our insurance company. I hope we don't need these services anymore, but if we do, we'll be back.

I'm so pleased with the entire process with Combs Collision (Snouffer Rd). I did some research before choosing them and couldn't have been happier. The first thing that struck me was how kind and polite their team is. Then, I got my car back a couple days earlier than expected - and it looks amazing. Thank you Josiah and Brent for being so nice and the manager who did the intake on my car (sorry I don't remember his name!). Not only will I return to Combs if I need body work again, but I'll recommend to friends and family as well.

These guys did a great job fixing my car repair. Their service and the quality of their work was worth it. I can definitely recommend taking your car to get fixed there. Also the car rental company goes and picks you up at the door after you drop the car. All on time.

Very friendly folks. I knocked my rear bumper lose and took my car to them. They said it was just missing a screw and a few clips and fixed it free of charge and wouldn't even let me tip them. Very friendly honest folks.Service: Body & TrimService: Body & Trim
