The owner is unprofessional, went for diagnostic. Called multiples times throughout the day.. no answer. He finally answer at 545 to tell me my car was fixed without my permission. Refused to discuss it over the phone, told me he will deal with me Monday because they close in ten minutes and aren t open Sunday! Then proceeded to hang up. Worst experience ever and the repair was overpriced we could ve bought the part for $15 and replaced it ourselves!Update: after paying for the unauthorized repair, drove the car for 30 minutes and it shut off. Took car to a different repair shop, was told the repair was done with an outdated generic part. They fixed it and replaced it for a third of the price. A month later and I haven t had an issue.Please don t visit here.

My tire pressure got low on the way drive from TX to MA, i know its a simplest thing, but the man was supper nice and get that down in 10sec for me. I'm sure the other service you need to get here won't be bad at all with his nice personality!

If I could give 0 stars I would. The price changed mutiple times for the repairs I requested after we agreed on a set price.I was called and told my vehicle was ready, only to have to wait for another hour after I got there. Had I not asked them did they do the specific repairs, I would have not known at the time.While waiting, they fixed something I didn't ask them to and said it would be an additional $95. I said that wasn't part of what I requested. Orlando sarcastically asked me did I want him to undo the repair. I said absolutely. He became frustrated and said that he couldn't.I paid for a detail but my carpet still had stains, what looks like bleach stains and cigarette burns, but I don't smoke?? He also said I would have to go to a different location to retrieve my personal items that were taken out when they "cleaned" my vehicle.Not to mention some of my personal items were missing which included a pair of designer eyeglass and some electronics (yes I know I shouldn't have left them. Also they shouldn't have taken them).My freedom of not being in jail was stronger than my anger that day. Luv that for me... and them. Update: Not even two weeks after I wrote my initial review, my AC went out in my vehicle. This is one of the things I paid them to fix

DO NOT RECOMMEND! It s the worst place to go for your car repair, bad customer service the owner is so rude, I almost called cops on them, if you can avoid this store please do so.

I have been coming to Columbus Auto Repair for about 3 years now. Orlando and his team fixed a super old van (that no one would touch) and helped me get it ready complete a massive road trip across the country. Now I come here whenever something is up with my car or I need an oil change. I trust them completely and encourage all of my friends to come here.

As far as quality work not the best I would say poor quality work. As far as prices they're extremely overpriced. They want to charge you an arm and a leg for their work. I pretty much got that feeling as soon as I walked in that he will try to get the most money out of you. In reality the work that was done in my vehicle could have been done back home for more than half of what they charged me $538.00 Today I was in a hurry and I needed to get my vehicle on the road since I make deliveries OTR. I will definitely never come back to this place again nor will recommend anyone here this is just my opinion. I feel bad for the locals if you don't have any other choice but to come to this place. If I had to time I would look around a few days prior to taking my vehicle anywhere but this place where I know that they're not going to just try to get the most out of me. For anyone trying to come here take your time look around you will find someone that will probably charge you less. Yo no recomiendo este Lugar demasiado caro.

Best mechanic in town. Went there for alternator replacement and he replaced serpentine belt for free. Very reasonable and cheap labor costs.

My wife and I were trying to get to Illinois the day before Christmas and our reservoir for our wiper fluid was damaged. We were having trouble seeing due to all the dirty snow being kicked up. We called this shop and they got us in right away and were able to repair the reservoir in an hour. Super polite and professional!

Worst place to take your vehicle for repair. Took my car to fix. The manager said he was gonna drive the car to identify the problems. He came back and identified the following: rotors, brake pads, stabilizer link bar & a front end noise. Was charged $55 for diagnosis if I was not ready to fix it or $600 if am to fix immediately.I was overcharged and the front end noise was not fixed. PLEASE DO NOT ENTER!!!

Took my car there for the cruise control switch. I asked many times what the estimate was going to be. Never got an answer until it was done. I was OK with the price, but would have liked to known it ahead of time.Also they don't use the computer to track the customers, it's all done on a tablet. When you pay all you get for a receipt is a emailed receipt just for the amount you paid. No itemized list.I always fill my car up when it gets to a half a tank. I'm not sure where the gas gauge was when I dropped it off, but I am sure it was at 1/2 or more. Picked up the car and it had 1/8 of a tank.I have no problem with them taking it for a test drive, but they don't need to be messing with everything in the car. The heated seats are on a dial, so when they are turned on, as long as the key is on, they are on. Both heated seats were turned up to 5.I will not be going back to this place again.

My boyfriend and I took our truck here and they fixed everything that needed to be done and they are so honest. They did a really good job. I definitely recommend taking your car here you won't regret it. We thought the whole truck was ruined and they turned the whole thing around and was honest about parts that I tried to have them installed but were not needed and so I got to get a decent amount of money back from the parts. I had had my vehicle towed to Columbus Auto Repair for repairs due to an accident because the location was close to my home. In total the shop was paid almost $3000 for repairs which included the replacement of the my radiator. Less than 14 month later my vehicle started to overheat I had another shop inspect it and was advised the radiator was leaking I took it back to Columbus Auto Repair to advise them the new radiator that was installed is now leaking the manager Orlando told me I would have to pay another $600 for a new radiator. When I tried to explain the radiator was replaced as new and it should not be leaking within 1 years time Orlando was very rude and told me it is what it is and I would have to buy a new one. I have reported the business to the BBB, Opened up a investigation with my insurance company for fraudulent work, filed a complaint with Ohio Attorney General office and in process of filing a lawsuit.Services: Auto body & trim repair, Engine repair

BEWARE!!!!! horrible service and experience this so called business is terrible withholds keys when you tell him how horrible the service is. DO NOT GO HERE HORRIBLE BUSINESS AND SERVICE.UPDATE ****PAINT JOB THAT THEY DID IS ALREADY CHIPPING OFF WORST BUSINESS EVER AND ITS ONLY BEEN A WEEK DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY.

We were on a road trip to West Virginia when our tire pressure tanked because of a nail. This was the only place still open on a Thursday evening. Even though we got there 15 minutes before closing, they took the car in and had it patched in under 10. We took our food truck here for breaks and an oil change , the only good thing was they finished the job quickly. I give them 1 star because they didn t do the oil change they charged us for, never gave/emailed our receipt and was over priced. Also if you pay cash you don t have to pay tax . Best & fairest mechanics in town! Probably in the entire state of Ohio. They are always very professional & courteous. I NEVER take my car anywhere else. Ramiro & Orlando always tell you what the issues are & gives an estimate before working on your vehicle. Turn around time is amazing! I wish I could take them with me when I relocate!

These guys do real good work. They have worked on my car 3 times now and each time they have been up front about what the problem is, how to fix it and exactly how much it costs. So far the prices have been a little cheaper when compared to other shops in the general area. The building is tucked back behind the road a fair bit but it is clean and professional.

Found this shop online took a chance coming to it. The building is very clean and professional, as is the staff that I encountered. I came in thinking I needed a rack and pinion but they lifted and quickly discovered that was not the problem but that I needed control arms, ball joints, tie rods and an alignment. While O was only looking to spend $700-$800 for the rack I actually ended up spending $1182.50 which saved me money because I already knew I needed ball joints and wasn t going to get them yet. A chain store had told me $1400 just for the Rack alone! So thank you CAR for helping me discover that I didn t need A rack and pinion. The other place was just going to replace it and let me pay for something I didn t need.I am happy to report that I am picking up my car now.

They fixed my 96 dodge truck many many times from battery and cables to ball joint and brakes rotors and calipers they was very fast and very nice very honest and great affordable prices! The entire crew is awesome! I will always come here and I will recommend them

I highly recommend this shop the owner was hands-on and explained everything up front. He gave me a reasonable price and did the job quickly. I also noticed the building was clean and looked professional. I will always come here for my car troubles.

We're from out of state and got a flat tire nearby. We walked here for help and Orlando was more than helpful with everything. We thought we may need a new tire and sensor but he was very honest and said we just needed a sensor. We are fully satisfied with the services he provided and more than happy with his honesty.

We were in town for a family wedding and my dads RV had some serious brake issues. Called them up on a Friday right before close and they worked super hard Friday night and Saturday AM to get the rv fixed. Tremendous work ethic and jumped right in to get my dad rolling, thank you!

I was one hour into a six hour road trip out of Ohio when my car started smoking and squealing on the highway. Panicking, I immediately pulled off the closest exit and thankfully Columbus Auto Repair was right there. Carlos asked me what was wrong and I, knowing nothing about cars, said I don't know and just told him what it was doing. He walked me through everything he was doing at every step of the process and let me know how much it would be every time. Carlos and the guys at Columbus Auto Repair really know what they're doing and they do it well! They really saved my bacon for sure so they get 5 stars and a big recommendation from me!Services: General repairs & maintenance, Engine repair

Just had them work on my Cadillac. Needed some transmission work. Things always break out of warranty. I go to Germain Cadillac for my scheduled maintenance. But open minded when things break. Price is better than dealership and quality of work is just as good.

Brought my truck here twice got a great deal and car was finished same day i dropped it off great work. Mechanics offeres a ride home, Owner is hands on. I recommend these guys very clean environment and professional!
