I was given the recommendation to come here by Toyota West to get body damage fixed. The work they did looks great and I have no complaints about how long it took, the process of communicating with insurance and payments, or the quality of work. I did have 2 charging cords and a beanie baby stolen from my car though (as well as loose change, but that s likely to be taken anywhere). When I dropped off my car I was told we have barbed wire fence, cameras flood lights, and alarms but theft is still really bad here so anything you leave is not our responsibility . It is understandable that after a warning anything left is your own fault, but phone cords and a beanie baby? My car was not broken in for that, definitely someone inside CARSTAR took those things. They do good work but clean everything out, even things that are inconspicuous.

I was beyond amazed by the repairs CARSTAR Collision did on the damage to my passenger door and rear bumper, along with the paint job. Happiness is not a word I use often, but it was a word I deeply expressed and exuded while picking up my vehicle due to the repairs and timing. I dropped off my vehicle on 10/25/21 and was told it would take a week or more, however, I was able to pick up my car on the following Friday 10/29/21, which was a relief within itself. At each step, the representatives kept me informed about the estimate, what needed ordered and done, and how far along my car was in repair. Not once did I have to call in to check on the progress. Excellent service and I would highly recommend them for repairs.Services: Painting, Body & Trim

Had other issues after picking up my car. Such as oil stains in the backseat. Had to bring the car back 2 more times and the stain is still there.

Did very good work, was done on time, paint match was great. All my coins that I had in the car was taken and center console and glove apartment was gone through so just make sure to clean the car out like they say. I had to sign a piece of paper saying I am aware they are not reasonable for anything taken from the car.

Avoid at all costs. Does not stick to their time frames. Their automated updates are absolutely pointless. They keep your car for weeks at a time so you have to use their rentals for longer. Should have known this place wasn t the right one when there are literal homeless shelters propped against their buildings and they make you take everything out of your car.I just hope for their benefit that my car doesn t have more than 5 miles added on the odometer or I m raising hell when I get my car back.Never ever use the recommended insurance body shop. It s a joke. Tell me two and a half month wait, and then don t even order the parts until well after the car is received. Absolutely unacceptable and unprofessional1 month repair time for a driver door dent is a joke, after a 2 month waiting period to get into the shop. I really hope this place closes down or a meteor crashes into the building.

My experiences with most repair shops are not good but it was very easy and quick to work with color magic carstar.They overdelivered by completing the work in 3 days rather than a week which I appreciate. The cars front bumper looks brand new. The hood and sides had slight damage and dents but they fixed it without having to replace parts and you can t even tell it was just fixed.The best part? The cleaned my car thanks

I took my mini in for just a windshield replacement and come back in February of 2024 to get sunroof fix, so on November 14 when I pick up the mini they told me the clean my sunroof and I quote there was no scratches or chips on your sunroof so that being said I could of taken it home and cleaned it myself the Manger said the are just going to replace my windshield so color magic took it upon themselves and causing me to lose money that I needed for the doctor let me see going to the doctor or getting the mini back, well the mini is back when you are on a tight income. DON'T YOU DARE GO THERE.

Car was broken into. When I did the walk around with staff. I noticed my car door was unlocked. I asked the employee if they unlocked the car when we walked over to vehicle. Her response was yes. Then I said, well someone has taken things from my car. She said, we will make a report. Then as we left my car. I said, aren't you going to lock the car? She then said, no. We don't lock the cars. Because ppl would then smash out the window to get in vehicle. Leading to more damage. Now I have to fight with the insurance company over my missing items.

I do not like to leave negative reviews, but I cannot, in good conscience, recommend this repair shop. Please avoid having your vehicle repaired here.Nearly 3 years ago, I brought in my prized car for some basic repairs. When I got my car back, the paint looked nice, but the repair didn t appear to be quite right. I waited a few weeks and returned to discuss the repair. They had me speak with a person who was presented as a manager. He talked in circles, claimed he had many years in the industry, and blamed the auto manufacturer for the poor fit and appearance of the repair. He clearly conveyed that there wasn t anything the shop could or would do.Over the next 2.5 years, the repair began to come undone and the parts slowly came apart. I finally broke down and took the car to a reputable shop where it was immediately noted that broken parts had been put back on to my car as part of the repair. After complete disassembly, even more broken parts were discovered. My car needed $4000+ of re-work.I was told that if I took my car to another shop that my repair warranty would be voided, but there is no way that I d return to Color Magic CARSTAR Collision.

This shop has to be hands down the best shop in all of Columbus. I thought that my truck was totaled, but the team and staff at Color Magic brought my truck back to life and I couldn t be happier. The repairs, the quality of service and the level of professionalism that this shop has provided me throughout the entire process. Would highly, highly recommend to anyone that has an issue with there vehicle.

Absolutely great experience after having my Kia stolen and damaged. They were so friendly from the first phone call up until my pick up. They provided weekly updates and I appreciated their honesty and quick responses. Do not send your car here!!! They stole items from my car! I had my car towed here from Cincinnati after an accident and when I stopped by to grab my belongings from the car, an employee had already gone into my car and went through my things. When I opened my car, I noticed that they had thrown things that were in my glove compartment, center counsel, and front compartment and scattered them on the floor of the car. There were valuables of mine that were also missing: all of the change in the change compartment, my airpods, and my bluetooth adapter. Furthermore, I saw my belongings scattered on the ground outside of the car as well! So unprofessional and they do not care about your items at all. When questioned about this, stories did not match up and they did not do anything to help except say they were sorry and that these things are common. I contacted the companies that had access to my car before this shop did, and they were quick to check footage and let me know that none of their employees went into the car.

These guys are seriously awesome! My kia got broken into and trashed and they took care of everything super quickly. The shop manager was super personable and explained in detail everything that would happen with my car and they sent my frequent updates on the work they were doing. Kamber was also super kind and worked with me on getting my car with my work schedule. They even took the rental car back for me! My car looks brand new, can t recommend them enough

My car was broken into leaving the window smashed, door scratched, and wiring all messed up. The head of the shop discussed everything they would fix before hand. The weekly updates on the car were great. If the arrival time of the parts were faster they would have had my car out in less than a week. They did a fantastic job repairing everything and my car looks as good as new. Everyone was professional and very helpful. Highly recommendServices: Painting, Electrical, Body & Trim, Battery

Took a bit of time to get the car in but that s unfortunately how it is everywhere. (Covid epidemic still very much effects car parts)While In their care my car was broken into and my dash cam was stolen as well as other items. Make sure if it can be broken off or stolen that it isn t in or near your car. The body work was well done. Noticed a A few new scratches on the car but again it was broken into so that wasn t their fault. Staff was friendly, responsive and knowledgeable. Just less than ideal location.Edit: the staff was AMAZING they made everything tight after the fact. The maintenance manager Matt took it every personally and made sure satisfaction was met on both sides. The work speaks for itself here. They are knowledgeable, kind and efficient. Matt is the epitome of what a professional should be. Great work, great staff, amazing management. Changing my review from 3 stars to 5 stars souly because of the professionalism Matt exhibited while dealing with the issue that was not his fault. By far the best repair shop I have been to! Very professional and kept me updated about my repairs and the cost, as well as being efficient (most repairs have taken over a month before while they were done in 10 days including Thanksgiving). Carstar is amazing!!! Quick quote, very friendly front desk staff, & amazing repair job! Had my car less than a week to replace the whole driver side door. Works with most insurance providers & is certified for Honda/Acura! Highly recommend - my car looked like I just bought it!

I sent my son's car here through my insurance company after he was in an accident. They did a thorough inspection and invited us down to do a walk around to let us know what needed fixed. We were told it would be 3 weeks and they delivered exactly. Actually got it a few days early. Each week they called us and updated us on where it was in the process. After getting the car back it looks great the new fender and bumper are lined up nicely and the paint on the hood and everything is flawless. They even replaced the driver side headlight because it was yellowed and was going to look bad compared to the new one that needed installed on the passenger side. I work in the car industry and will definitely be recommending this company. Job well done from start to finish in all aspects.Services: Painting, Body & Trim, Battery

Matt and team were fabulous. It's unfortunate they have to work under the added pressure of parts on backorder and dealerships not following through on commitments. I was a tough customer who wanted daily updates and Amber never dropped the box-providing top notch customer service.I hit a deer traveling three hours away from home and all the damage was underneath the car. I was fortunate that Matt and team found the parts considering I drive a 2013 Honda Accord. Over $7500 worth of damage and all parts found and repaired.I picked up the car yesterday and found that it was in better condition inside and OUT-the inside detailing surprised me.Matt greeted me at the desk and gave me a rundown of how the car drives and future needs I need to look into. My car was deemed a total loss by my insurance but everyone working there was incredibly kind and sensitive to my situation. I needed to release my car to my insurance but wanted to keep the floor mats, and they held them for me over the weekens since I would not be able to get there on time.Great at keeping me updated too.

I would definitely recommend this shop to anyone! They got my car fixed up within 6 days and it looks amazing! Got rear ended and pushed into the car in front of me and they were able to make it look brand new where there was damage. The staff is great and informative. TGIF! It has been a week since getting my car back from Color Magic, and I am still satisfied! My family vehicle was involved in an accident and Color Magic was recommended to me by 2 people, and since my experience with the shop was phenomenal!!!! I have recommended Color Magic to a few people myself. Matt and his employees made me feel relaxed and not pushed during the entire process of getting my car in, dealing with my insurance, how quick my car was in AND OUT!! They even went the extra mile and got my (!) Light to go out!! Their communication is the best customer service I have experienced in a while! They sent me texts in a regular updating me on my car, but not in a way of "didn't I just talk to you" or "what now", my experience with Color Magic was smooth! I couldn't have asked for a better collision shop! I mean they even cleaned my car inside and out, and having kids you know that means a lot!Services: Painting, Body & Trim

The manager was very professional and empathetic while my car was in the repair shop. So far, I ve only had one small issue with my AC but the they quickly fixed the issue. I was able to communicate with the shop via text and received status updates every week. The service I received here greatly exceeded my expectations!
