I got a car from this place in when I was 19 years old. At 19 , you don t know much about buying cars. The salesman sold me a car with a salvaged title and didn t tell me what it meant. If you re young and don t know anything about buying cars stay away because they will prey on you.

First, let me be clear, Clintonville Auto Sales deals with many Rebuilt Salvage cars. This is not a bad thing but just know when shopping here for your car. Their collision shop next door does most of the work and as far as I can tell they do pretty good work.On to the sales experience. After talking with a few of the "big name" dealers in the area and getting the feeling they just wanted to sell me a car, any car, so they can collect a commission check, it was refreshing to walk into Clintonville Auto Sales.The night we walked in, Larissa V. was already busy handling multiple people with car sales but she did so with professionalism and skill. She even fit us in after hours and made us feel just as important as the people who had made appointments. After settling on a car, 2005 Toyota Corolla with low miles, she showed us the before pics and told us all that's been done. Then after calling our insurance company and finding out they didn't want to deal with a rebuilt title. Larissa and her boss told us of a few companies who do. They even said if we couldn't get insured they would refund our deposit no questions asked. In the end their info end up saving us $50 a month on our insurance bill(Thanks, guys)So if you want super low-pressure sales and great prices on great cars, check these guys out. They are definitely worth a look.

Clintonville Car Sales Inc. has been a very positive and productive experience for me. The inventory of automobiles that they offer are quality forms of transportation that has proven to be great investments. This was my first Bye Here, Pay Here endeavor and I was initially very apprehensive. I think I was fortunate that Larisa was my first form of contact. She was very patient, honest and most of all fair with my first purchase. My payments were very manageable, so I quickly paid the car off. I was impressed that they offered a 12 month warranty on the engine at no extra charge. That kind of interaction enabled me to seriously consider her suggestion to upgrade and use the purchase car as a trade in {I received a GREAT trade in value}, which meant I did not require a down payment. I have been more than satisfied with doing business with them, which is why I have purchased two cars from them. I typically do not do reviews, endorsements or share business outcomes; however, in these economically challenging times I felt the need to share my positive experience. C. They were so helpful when we were looking for a car on a short time frame. The auto payment was easily set up and we were able to take the car that day. We have been so pleased with the car and have had no issues with it in the 7 months we have had it. We have returned to buy our daughter's first car because we were so pleased with the service and quality we got from them. Highly recommend!

im a returning customer been dealing with this car company for about 6 yrs or more brought 2 cars from now 3 and have been very happy and please wit all cars no problems and the the staff is 5 star great the owner such a nice cool guy and Sarah is amazing excellent customer service very helpful down to earth and nice and sweet 5 stars k.crowley

Had an excellent experience buying a car at Clintonville Car Sales. I got a great car at a reasonable price, and Walid was so helpful during the entire process. I've seen some reviewers who said that they were unaware that the car they bought was one with a rebuilt title. In my experience, they were up front and honest about that fact and assured me that they do not buy cars whose airbags deployed, that suffered flood damage or damage to the frame. I was able to take the car for a pre-purchase inspection and I was told in no uncertain terms that "this is a great car." I told the mechanic the price and he said I'd be crazy not to take it home with me. On top of all of that, my car came with a 30-day bumper-to-bumper warranty and a year-long warranty on the transmission and engine. I received friendly service and guidance throughout the process, including being hooked up with a solid credit union. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend these guys to any friend or family member looking for a good used car. Make sure you ask for Walid.

We are going through a bankruptcy and needed a good reliable vehicle for our family. Going to Clintonville Auto Sales was EASY and hassle free!!! We paid the down payment and took recent pay stubs, and walked out 30min later with a newer car!! The car itself is a GOOD reliable vehicle!!!! They are also fast and friendly!!! I would most definitely refer anyone to them! And we will buy our future vehicles here as well!

Great cars with great prices. The mechanics are great. Great staff also. I locked my keys in my car one time and couldn't get in another. They came both times within 15minutes no questions asked and didn't ask to be compensated. They just make sure there customers are happy no matter what. I definitely recommend.

Just purchased my first ever. Loved it! It could've been a confusing experience for me for my lack of knowledge, but Justin walked me through the process of the transaction patiently. Super helpful staff plus efficient communication with customers. Dandy cars, good prices and nice services. Go there with questions and they will gladly help you out with your vehicular needs!

By far my best car-buying experience! I got the car and within a week or two, noticed a problem with the vehicle. I contacted Clintonville Car Sales and they just asked me to bring it in and they fixed my car, a $300 fix, for free! No questions asked. They've got your back, thats for sure and i would HIGHLY recommend buying from them!

Clintonville Car Sales is a great choice to get your next car. Our first experience over 18 months ago was just as solid as our recent one last week. 3 vehicles purchased and all experiences have been great - simply put they follow through with what they tell you.

Don't waste your time here, nice at first but then you will discover this company is owned by a shady liar. I thought because of the good reviews this was a decent car place, found out that is because your basically bribed into writing a positive review. Them replying to the comments an complaints, is just for show. I have seen multiple comments on these review sites, where people have stated how rude and disrespectful the owner is. Of course he responds saying that's not true they conduct business in a professional manor BUT that is a LIE. They will tell you they will fix repairs before buying a vehicle, document it in the agreement and then return your car with the same issue. Also your car will start to reveal more an more "covered" damages. For the amount they want for down payments, if you can...take your money elsewhere. This place is not worth anyone's time or money. No need for the owner to respond to my complaint, I'm just glad I don't have to deal with this company anymore. I'm sure they will deny all I said, but all the negative reviews basically have the same issue with this company. I'm just glad I don't have to deal with this company anymore, and can enjoy a vehicle from a dealer who respects their customers!j***The response from the owner as I stated earlier is a joke, and they try to sound like their a decent company! The owner is not dissatisfied about what I said in my review nor is he confused. Of course he says these things so customers will think he is running a good dealership. To future buyer's beware, pay attention to the negative reviews. The positive one's are not honest reviews those people just received an incentive for placing a positive review. Even though I was able to secure another vehicle, I know everyone doesn't have those financial resources. An as a consumer we must provide accurate feedback so that the next buyer can avoid dealing with an unprofessional company like this one!

I was looking for a new vehicle and was skeptical because I had never heard of this business. Before I went on my test drive, Shawn, the salesman, told me I could take it to a mechanic of my choice and take my time. I'm glad I did as it needed new engine mounts. When I came back, Shawn offered to do the work for free and give me a full tank of gas before purchasing the vehicle. On top of it all, I got a ONE YEAR warranty covering the engine and transmission for no extra charge! I definitely recommend this business because they really care about customer service.

I bought a 2010 Prius back in 2017. Justin has been awesome through this whole process. Communication is the key. I had to switch my payment date several times due to personal issues. justin was more than understanding and very helpful. I am so glad he took a chance on m let me buy my dream car. As of Tuesday I paid my car off. if anyone is looking for a dependable reliable vehicle go to Clintonville Car Sales. They will be the ones I go back to for my next Vehicle.

My wife recently gave birth to triplets and our vehicle situation needed a drastic upgrade. I reached out to Clintonville Car Sales and left a message after hours to see if they could help us out and they responded the very next morning!Justin took the time to give me a call and talk about my situation. My wife and I came in a couple days later and I was amazed by the caring and understanding that he and the rest of their staff showed to us. They did everything they could to give us a fair price on our trade-in vehicle and even gave us a free warranty on our 2009 CRV!!Their expertise and professionalism is second to none and I am happy to refer any of my friends and family to this establishment. They have a huge inventory of used vehicles and are even expanding, I believe.Kudos!

Good selection for a small place, but that's where the good stops. All cars have rebuilt or salvage titles and they will not come down on prices one bit so don't expect any haggling. Salespeople weren't unpleasant, but they definitely weren't going to go out of their way to be helpful and didn't seem to care if they made a sale or not. I came cash in hand and walked right out. Someone else can make commission off my purchase!

I purchased a 2012 Honda Civic with super low miles. The car has held up beautifully (with routine maintenance) & Clintonville Car Sales got me a great deal. I am very satisfied thus far!

I found a cute little Honda here that I was dying for; good condition and a great price. The first question I asked was about the past owners, accidents, etc.. He pulled up a database and explained that it was in a minor front end collision and all that needed replaced was the front bumper and headlights, he then went on to say that they do not work with totaled vehicles. I was thrilled, so I bought the car. When I left with the car it desperately needed an alignment so I went to a local mechanic and he told me the tie rods and lower control arms were all broken along with the rotors, ball joints, and brakes. The car was completely unsafe to drive. I called Clintonville and they helped, explained I would have to pay for parts but they would do the labor; seemed fair enough to me. When I finally got the car back in my possession I took it to the bmv to get it registered. The young lady pointed out that I had a "salvage/rebuilt" title and that the car had been totaled when the dealership received it. Needless to say I was furious. I know they tried to make it right, but overall, new tie rods don't make up for a big lie and a totaled car.

I purchased a Nissan Sentra from Clintonville Car Sales a couple months ago. My car looks good and runs great. I would recommend anyone to purchase a vehicle from them. The sales staff is very friendly and helpful. Very easy to work with on down payment and payments.

On my third vehicle from this dealership and as always I am very satisfied. I've never had to exercise my warranty option before the Infiniti, but this time my CHECK ENGINE light came on. It was diagnosed as a canister or whatever, they got me right in and figured it out and fixed it once the part came in, at no cost even though I was 5 days over my warranty period. No pressure and no BS, this place is awesome!

After a good relationship lasting several months Clintonville Car Sales and I had a small issue with a new employee providing poor customer service. After speaking with them about this issue they explained to me that this employee was just following protocol based on bad experiences that they have had in the past. They apologized for the miscommunication and updated my account information. I would recommend purchasing from them since they are reasonable people who are willing to work with the customer to come to a mutual understanding. THEY HAVE PROVEN TO ME THAT THEY BELIEVE IN GOOD BUSINESS PRACTICES AND TRULY CARE ABOUT MAINTAINING A GOOD RELATIONSHIP WITH THEIR CUSTOMERS.

I just bought my first car and they were so helpful! They went above and beyond working with us to finance the car, and working to help fix some scratches and buff out some areas. They were so nice and understanding and I am so thankful for all they did to help me get my first car!
