They take the parts out themselves here Which is fine that being said take out labor over priced and if the part isn't expensive enough they are not even willing to do it. Embarrassing for a junkyard

THESE GUYS ARE CON ARTISTS, DONT DO BUSINESS HERE. My coworker purchased an engine from them for $600, no core, with a 90 day warranty. Within the first couple of weeks after install it began to have a lower end noise and ran progressively worse. My coworker called to have it warrantied, and they gave him all kinds of attitude, and told him to bring it back on the coming Saturday. My coworker drove over an hour there on that Saturday only to find out that THEY LIED AND WERE CLOSED. He then had to take off work to go back on another day, only to get a completely sludged up engine as thewarranty replacement. To which they are refusing to refund him on or warranty again because 'we took the engine apart' all we took off was the valve cover to find the sludge. And their warranty says we have to replace the head gasket to be viable.... Last I checked you have to take off the valve cover to do the head gasket. Just a bunch of con artists. DON'T DO BUSINESS HERE.

Never ever made a complaint in my life but I am extremely disappointed & my experience with this company was not good. Called in for a part for a car that they have, lady rushed me off the phone being completely rude and did not even give a chance to know what car part I was talking about. They have the car there and she did not even look up the car part with me presenting my own car part to them. Front desk was Non-Chalant and Not knowledgeable about cars what so ever. Again came in with current parts in hand, the same rude lady communicated with the other This is the guy that called in about that car , indicating she didn t want to help me out really. Would not recommend them. If I could I would love to speak with a manager! You don t treat people like that

First impressions were not good. Although they had the part I was in need of, the lady at the counter had no enthusiasm at all and was rude the entire conversation. Wanted 250 cash for a door that I have to put together myself and doesn t even have all the parts that come with it. They scam people. Do not trust these prices nor the people

We have been sitting outside for 46 minutes waiting on a car part that I purchased, at 3:19 it is now 4:00 and I am still here. The front desk representatives old ladies IS VERY RUDE AND DISRESPECTFUL!!

This is a great place to get auto parts, especially used or refurbished batteries. Unbeatable prices as well as warranty and core charge . Customer service is really good too. I'd definitely refer this place .

Good reliable parts that are tested and guaranteed plus it's old school style private family owned business and always has been even old school parts counter experience just like the way it use to be and needs to stay

The two women at the front are always rude and act like you re bothering them by even coming up to the store counter each time I ve been through the years. Recently, I bought a reconditioned battery with a 6 month warranty. I ve had to exchange it 4 times. It s just not worth it on top of the lack of quality customer service!

Surprisingly low prices; just a few dollars more than the pull-it-yourself yards in most cases, and you get to sit in a nice air conditioned showroom waiting for 10-15 minutes while their friendly staff goes out into the yard getting sweaty and dirty. They also seem to have better tracking of what parts they do and don't have. I have been pulling my own parts for 20 years, but I'll be coming back here again!

Scammed me outta 200 bucks. I asked for a part that was for my 03. They gave me a part that was for the 04. Completely different color code and a completely different year. The sign behind them said they could give a refund subject to a 30% restocking fee but they declined me that as well. Do not get parts here. They are scamming people.

It was my first time being back in here in over 15 years. It is still amazing. Decent prices on used stuffs. And parts and stuff like my gas can i got today. Lol. 6 bucks. The people were nice and all that. It was really clean also. Definitely worth the time to stop by in there.

Incompetent employee that answered my call. The lady didn't know anything about the inventory they have. They claim to have car parts, but she didn't know what. Rude. Go literally anywhere else.

First of all, I'm a car guy. I have been to dozens of junkyards over the years. I have come to expect a certain amount of gruff from time to time. This place, by far has the worst, and strangest, customer service! I called asking for a part for an engine. You would think that a used part/junk yard place would have this simple part. Apparently, they don't sell individual engine parts. Only whole engines and trans. That's fine. How about other parts off of the chassis? Sure. They will pull the part and charge you out the ASS!! You can get a better and cheaper part elsewhere. The dude at the counter is one of the most rudest out there too! I hope he is not the owner. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND STOPPING AT THIS PLACE AND WASTING YOUR TIME OR MONEY!!

I needed trailer hitch for my Ford truck. I dot there at 345, they had decent one still on the truck. I left 40$ down payment so they would pull it for me and it will be ready first thing in morning. When I showed up next morning at 820am they didn't even started pulling it yet and the guy was vacuuming floor in show room instead of pulling part. So I had to sit and wait for 45 minutes for them to pull it. What'd the point of taking down payment if they just waste people time!

I was out of state and I got into a car wreck. My car wasn't drivable and I needed to junk it fast so it wasn't sitting outside of my family's house any longer. Being out of state I didn't have the title on me and didn't know that you couldn't junk your car without it. It makes sense that you can't but I thought that some places might take it without and being stuck 500 miles away from home I figured I might as well try. I called Central City Auto Parts and asked. The man on the phone started yelling at me and accusing me of stealing the car and trying to sell it to him. A simple "No we don't purchase cars without a title" would have sufficed. Before I could even say anything about my situation he hung up on me. I noticed another reviewer had the same complaint about being hung up on. If the employees here learned a little bit more about customer service they would have a more successful business. I'm waiting on my title now in the mail. Once I receive it I would rather give my car away for free than do business with Central City.

The customer service was great! The important car parts, like a transmission don't buy here. I brought the tranny for 856 dollars. I've had the tranny for exactly 5 months and it has broken down. I'm so upset, but it is a junk yard... So what can you expect?? I would say get small unimportant parts from this place....

Central City provides fast, friendly service. The kicker, at least for me, is that have hours on Sat. I work full time and just can't get to businesses that are only open from 8-5. Central City provides Sat hours so I can get in to grab some parts at a great price.

CCAP had a tough to find part for our Saturn Astra. I know my way around a car, but I'm no mechanic so the fact that they pulled the part for me was a real time saver. Amaris and the others at the front desk were friendly and helpful as well. Pricing might be a bit higher than other junkyards, but the service is worth it. I have a feeling I'll be back :)

Had a great time stoping by Central City Auto Parts. Great customer service! Best deal in Columbus hands down. I would highly recommend them to anyone needing car parts.

The worst junkyard ever, they will sell you the wrong parts and refuse to make it right. I bought a 6' bed from them and they gave me an 8' bed, now they are refusing to make it right, except to give me a bed in horrible shape for the same price. They are a scam and Natalie is very unpleasant

I just got off the phone with Larry. He actually called me back from a couple days ago to see if I was still interested in a part I called about. I was. He was polite, knowledgeable, not at all pushy, and got the sale.I need something else for my car and am getting it at another place in Kenton to save some money, but boy was that woman rude and obnoxious. I am in the service industry and would never hire someone like her to be the point of contact.But Kudos to CCAP. I'll call you guys again when I need something.

Bought an alternator needing it to keep my vehicle going had it tested before installing it ended up failing the test at AutoZone and advanced Auto took it back in and was told that if the place they wanted didn't test it they would not exchange it or take it back or if they did take it back they would charge me a 30% restocking fee for selling me a broke part

I recently purchased a used F250 in very good condition, but the tailgate had a considerable amount of rust. I visited CCAP on a Friday. They were able to locate a replacement at their salvage yard in Kentucky, and said it will be available on Monday.I was a bit reluctant about the purchase because I only saw an online photo of the replacement. But I decided to take a chance, given the condition of other tailgates I'd seen in person.As promised, CCAP called me on Monday to let me know my tailgate was available for pick up. I was pleasantly surprised when I saw it for the first time. It was in excellent condition! And to make this experience even better, they removed my old tailgate and installed the new one, saving me time and money trying to find someone else who could.I highly recommend CCAP!

I called looking for hood for my eldorado. Although they did not have one, the employee Hank searched all the local salvage yards. He could not come up with any hoods around here but gave me a few phone numbers of places to call. Sure enough found one with his his help. He was very polite and went the extra mile and took time to call me back. Never really done actual business with these guys but I would based on this experience. I have spoke to many other yards and had alot of rudeness short answered responses like nope don't have it, click and so on. Like they are a bunch of rough necks that could care or less not these people.

Central city has a Very helpful and knowledgeable staff and a beautiful showroom area. Also local family owned. I always check with Central city first when looking for used parts.

If you don t won t disappoint the first time do not buy anything here. There all about that money and less more worried about your car issues. There getting a two star due to the second battery working!

The lady that answered the phone was sweet but when I went in person the man was very rude. He was nice enough to tell me that the right tools didn't look like they would get me very far when I asked him for a little direction.

I called the store on sat. asked for my parts and was told there was a deal on the part I wanted. I tired to explain I was two hours away and i was cut off and told "I know where you are I have caller id" then I tried to ask what condition the part was in and i was told to "Just come down and look at it" 12:00 pm phone call + 2 hour trip = 2 pm so he tells me you will make it and Ill pull the part when you get here and take a look. Two hours later im pulling in to an empty parking lot since it was 2:03pm. I tried calling to find out why i was assured to drive two hours for nothing. A guy walked out with keys OBVIOUSLY IMPORTANT HOLDING THE KEYS TO THE CASTLE. I tried to explain that i was expected, at which point he laughed at me and finished locking up, telling me there was a man with a gun inside and he had it trained on my person through the window. He then went on to explain the business is located in the WORST POSSIBLE PLACE IN ALL OF THE CONTINENTAL UNITED STATES, laughed at me AGAIN then entered his own vehicle. I suggest if you need parts drive three to four hours for a more expensive part than only the two hours for their FAKE SCAMMING DEALS.
