In short, based upon my experience, and other reviews:This business tries to rip you off if you are clueless. And if you ask to many questions, they get mad and want you to leave them alone.When I arrived and stated the claim near the muffler was rotted and needed welded, he asked "so what you want it to run quieter?" I really thought that was an odd question.I was here for an exhaust weld, and had previously replaced the exhaust manifold on my relative's Mitsubishi endeavor. The relative had someone tie a metal wire which was coated in rubber or plastic to the manifold in order to support it and reduce the noise due to the leak. This material melted slightly.I was having difficulty finding a replacement for the exhaust manifold support bracket which was missing.I went to ask the guy about this missing bracket, but he pointed to the melt and claimed the radiator fan was melting.I tried to ask him to move his hand and hand me the light so I could show him stuff. I said "here move a sec, give me the light"... I wasn't going to say please and thank you, not out of rudeness, but rather it was extremely loud in the shop due to someone running a circular saw. None of my other conduct was rude either, and I was very patient during the two hours I waited on them to service my vehicle, never once asking "How much longer?"We were under the car and when I asked for the light, he ripped it back away from me and started yelling at me close to my face.He was yelling at me about "No !I don't like how you are yelling at me and your attitude." I was literally confused and thought maybe for a second in the beginning that this was some kind of joke, until I observed his expressions and body language. I was literally so confused.I was simply trying to tell him what he diagnosed was wrong given that he didnt know the history of the vehicle. His diagnosis was reasonable, but if he had just let me finish talking he would have understood. Instead he yelled at me and then told me to go sit down and walked away from me, leaving me uncomfortable even being there. I was anxious to leave at this point.I will NEVER go back here or recommend anyone else to do so. I am never rude to employees anywhere I go, and I have worked years in customer facing roles myself. I tried to apologize to the guy and understand what I did wrong, but I was just vastly confused. I shook his hand he said something to the effect of "Fine. Tell me what you want then." I froze for a moment and said "Nevermind." He then said "Yeah. Just go sit down in there and wait" with a rude attitude.Service: Exhaust

They were rude and hostile before I even walked in. I don t think they realize I speak Spanish. I could over hear the workers talking. Definitely not an honest place. I m really glad I asked for a quote before I handed my keys, they would have charged me almost $300/hr for labor.

I got a great repair on a 2008 Lexus ES 350. The price was very much lower than I expected and once I got in the bay, service was completed very quickly.

JD was great! Great customer service! Great work on the car! They got the work done faster than the time they told me. I love the fact how mechanics show me the issue and how they're going to fix it (whether I know how or not) . I needed immediate attention to my flex pipe and they helped tremendously immediately. JD .. if you're reading this .. thank you! You gave me a reason to come back.. I appreciate the transparency. I love that in a business. It was also an affordable price.

I have been a long time customer of these mechanics. They have ALWAYS been 100% honest with me, and never have taken advantage of the fact that I know nothing about cars. Their prices are, by far, the most reasonable I have ever encountered. I have never felt pressured into doing anything to my car other than why I came to see them. I even had a situation where I had a major problem with my car that conveniently happened 2 weeks after I lost my job. They went above and beyond to work with me, and even made the exception for me to make payments over a period of a month. I don t know if any other place that would do that. I have never had a bad expedience with them. I am very thankful I have a mechanic shop that I can go to with confidence and full trust. As long as ownership/policies/work ethics don t change, they are the only ones I will ever go to for any issues or needs I may have with my car! JD is the absolute BEST!!!!!

Rude ownership claims to offer free estimate and when I tell them that I ve decided to go with another company with a more competitive price they lashed out that if i ever have them pull my car on their rack again Their charging me something. I ve never been treated so Unprofessional. Don t offer customers free estimates if you don t expect them to use it as a guide to make a decision on the repairs. Consumers have a right to shop around And make a informed decision. I will never pull my car on their lot again

Dang. I know mechanics are rough around the edges, but dang, these guys were rude, pushy, and tried to take advantage of me. Tried to see how much I knew and tried to base what they quoted me off of that. When they realized I knew enough they told me to get lost

It was Sunday and he helped me get a tire back on the rim new valve stems and sealed up a second tire on my cement mixer. I was able to get home with no issues. The tires are still holding air even in 8 degree weather. I would definitely go back if I was in the area.

I have had them do work on there different cars of mine. They have hooked me up and gotten problems fixed each time. Knowledgeable staff that comes in early and leaves late in order to make sure your vehicle leaves better than it came in. They have done exhaust and wheel work for me that have been of good quality and that is why I continue to go back to them for repairs.

I stumbled upon Buckeye Muffler when the original company I took my car stopped taking customers before 10 am and were booked up for 3 weeks. I found Buckeye Muffler online. 5 minutes after getting there, one of the technicians, Sam, put my car on the lift and showed me the two spots leaking on the muffler. The price quoted for the repair was 1/4 of what other places were charging. Sam was very professional and got the job done quickly. I would recommend this company to all my family and friends. They took 1 month to fix our work van. Paid over $1,000 and I have the receipt to prove it. E-mail me if you'd like to see the evidence! Anyways, after driving it down the block for the 2nd time, (the first time drove it home) it broke down and we had to pay $120 to get it towed back to our house. Do NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY!@@!!!! Also when I called them, the guy owner was so rude because of course I was upset I told him I wanted it fixed or I'd take him to court! Which I still might after this Coronavirus stuff is all over!!! Too much money wasted. Go to real professionals; not backyard mechanics. I should have known better!This is #2 times that I've done this and believe me, I've learned my lesson!

We found out on a Sunday morning of a road trip that someone tried to steal our cat but only cut the rear end of the pipe. We showed up to Buckeyes and they got it welded back quickly/well, were really helpful, and the weld ended up getting us back to Dayton. Overall really happy we ended up finding these guys

These guys are very over priced!!!! For a brake change just for the labor 180 dollars which I had to negotiate down to 150! Outrages in other shops I can get them changed for 50 bucks max 90 dollars.

When I say the best honest car service I've ever had I mean that. All I can say is if u need anything done worked on on your car I would call them first. Fast service as well. I recommend everyone to give them a call. You will see what I'm talking about. I had a muffler put on, a tire, coals and they were even nice enough to check other stuff without charging me. I'm so use to car shops getting over on a customer. They actually care about the work and satisfaction of the customer. Thanx I'll be back trust me. And email if u guys have questions. That's how serious I am. I think I might be the happiest customer they've seen thus far.

JD is a lifesaver!! My car is my everything because without it I would literally have nothing. I need my car for my job, for my family, for everything... When nobody else could help me and get my car in on a Friday afternoon, I called buckeye muffler and JD said to bring it in he would get to it right away and within an hour my car was fixed and running again. It was an issue with my emergency brake where it had came off but JD got me together at a good price. I highly recommend these guys to do all your mechanic work they know their stuff and don't try to pull the wool over your eyes and sell you things you don't need. I will most definitely be back there to get any future work done on my cars. Thank you so much again JD!!

Need 2 donuts on my exhaust. They told me to get the donuts ans 4 nuts at a parts house and they would install for $300.00. My whole stainless exhaust system custom bent for $500.00.These foreign owners of Buckeye muffler need to make money to send home. I think they need to go home.

Do not go here! They used zip ties on my exhaust and when I questioned them about what they were doing he told me to go sit in the waiting room. They changed my muffler to one of a different size and when I asked them about it they said it doesn't matter. They threatened to cut off the muffler they installed so I had to pay them for the work they did that is all wrong and that I didn't want done or would've had to leave with no muffler at all since they had already removed mine.Service: Exhaust

I had a brake job done in 2016. They told me I had a 1 year warranty on parts and labor. The rotors they put on my car were junk! They warped and I took the car back to them while it was still under their warranty. However they try to tell me the warranty was only on parts and they tried to chrage me $75 for labor. I got mad then they said they would go ahead and do the work because "money doesn't mean anything". I didn't trust them to do it after they were trying to rip me off for $75. So I took my car and left! Don't trust these guys, they have had no education I. Auto repair. I ask them where they got the education for working on cars they told me they didn't have any training!I will never go there again.

Price for muffler and exhaust work was on the expensive side, $500+. Replaced catalytic converter, pipe, and flex pipe. Took about 2 hours worth of work. After being released I noticed an unnatural noise and they took it back in for more repair. Staff was very friendly, but if you have a cheaper option, I would recommend to go there instead.

Excellent Customer Service, very quick service. I called around to prove oil changes for my Lincoln MKZ. They yfar gave me the best price with full synthetic. I was not there more than 10 mins

They know me by their nickname for me Antonio Sienna . I brought my 2011 Toyota Sienna after I received a shocking estimate from the dealership. I took it to Buckeye Muffler and they did 2 front control arms, plus breaks and rotors for almost half of the price of the dealership. I then took it back to the dealership to make sure it was done correctly and it was done great for 50% of the price. I would definitely recommend JD and his group for any auto-repairs.

Originally going to goto mad hatter to get a custom straight pipe on my BMW 335i but mad hatter had a 3+hr wait so went here instead. Very knowledgeable, fast and friendly guys. Very well priced, would recommend
