Very nice and helpful! I called panicking about my check engine light coming on in this freezing weather. They were able to see me right away. It ended up not being a big deal but I appreciate their kindness and how knowledgeable they were!

Woke up to a flat tire and went to Bernie s. In, out, tire fixed in 20 minutes for $20. Got me in immediately and nobody tried to upsell me anything I didn t need.

When I need some auto repairs or service I know exactly where I'll go. Bernie's does it all from body work to regular maintenance. Bev and Danny are extremely helpful and some of the most genuine people you'll ever meet!

Went to Bernie's because of the great ratings and they are an A+ BBB shop. My first experience wasn't a good one. They installed my tires on backwards and I had to come back . Most high performance tires these days are unidirectional and they couldn't get it right the first time. Went flat overnight and would have stranded me if it wasn't for a pump I had.

A nationwide chain shop had told me I needed a service that would damage my car if I didn't have it done. I took my car to Bernie's for my exhaust and asked them to do the service the chain had said I needed as well. Bernie's explained that the recommended service was totally unnecessary and they fixed my exhaust very fast for a great price. Couldn't be happier with the service I received.Service: Exhaust

I just got my car back from Bernie's this morning and I was super happy with the results. One morning at work I noticed there was a weird dent on the roof of my Civic and apparently it was a bullet hole (but with no bullet left). I went to one other place before Bernie's and the estimate was steep. Bernie's was super good at getting me a quick, reasonable estimate and then getting my car back to me in three days (although it was actually done about 48 hours I dropped it off). Nice location right off High Street and nice people. Being a young woman and not knowing a lot about cars, I of course was nervous about watching myself and making sure I wasn't taken advantage of, but I definitely didn't have to worry about that with them. Would definitely come back for body work if needed (hopefully will not!)

My Honda Fit was in a wreck resulting in minor body and front end damage. After getting insurance approval to repair it, T.J. at Bernie's Garage and Body Shop did a wonderful job of making it look like new. I highly recommend this place.

They were really nice and always worked with me to drop the car when I needed things done. However, I took my car in a couple months ago to check my brakes and they said they cleaned them for me and that was all that was needed. Turns out I need new front brakes, rotors, and the back wasn t properly cleaned. I am by no means a daily driver and the car mostly sits so this should have been addressed when I brought it in. I also got told at some points I needed things replaced and a month later I would bring it in (after saving up for a costly repair) and they d tell me it didn t. I m disappointed because I really like the staff but I won t be coming here anymore.

If you need work done on your vehicle and need a place that you can trust to do an exceptional job while charging an honest price and fixing your vehicle in a timely manner - this is the place to go.Update 9.15.21Went back again and had another great experience. Needed exhaust fixed (rusted through), fix misfiring cylinders and an oil change. They got it done fast at a great price with great communication. Seriously, if you are reading this considering where to go, just go to Bernie's!

I've brought two cars here two separate times with no complaints. Prices have been better than other shops and turnaround on getting my car back has been quick. Friendly staff. Bernie's will be my first stop in the future for car issues.

Yesterday I dropped my car off for some exhaust repair....I was called within an hour with an estimate (I actually didn't fall on the floor) and the work was done by 1:30...I was ecstatic! I love a company that respects the fact that we need our cars and go above and beyond to see that we are not stranded for long....They were super professional, the garage was very clean and everyone was very friendly! I will defiantly be back when the time arrises and I will also let all my friends know...Thanks Bernie's!

came in to get some leaks fixed around the gutter of my van and the windshield. those leaks did not get fixed. the company they hire to do glass work, Harr s auto glass, did not seal in my windshield properly; not the first time, and not the second time, we hope that third time was the charm but that shouldn t have ever been the case not after i spent $500+ to get it done right the first time. my van spent over 50 hours in the shop all to fix their faulty work. i was treated like i didn t know anything about my vehicle but i sure did know where the water was coming in and they didn t listen. they did work that i could have done myself even after i asked them to provide a service that i couldn t complete > they caulked over old caulk instead of removing the old caulk and recaulking and i still could have done their work better. i am disappointed in the service i received and will not go back to bernies.

I love this shop. They can fix about anything.I always ask for an estimate and get it no problem.They can fix your old car (like my 1987 Ford Conversion Van)Or my 2006 Volvo. And not expensive either!They are conscientious, established, and quick.

I am a return customer to Bernie's. They have worked on two different cars for me, both mechanical and body work. Their prices are fair and they do only the work that is needed, not what is unnecessary. I once needed major work on a vehicle that was pricey and they looked for a used part for me to bring down the price. Their body work was great and the paint job lasted the life of the vehicle (8+ years).

Car was acting up while in columbus dropping a family member off at Riverside. Bernie's was booked up so I couldn't get an appointment right away, but the mechanic offered to come and take a quick look in the parking lot. He quickly diagnosed and explained the issue and assured me it would be fine to drive back home to Bucyrus. He easily could have said "Sorry, we're booked and can't help you." But he was very helpful and went the extra mile to answer my questions and help my understand what was happening. I will definitely recommend Bernie's to my friends in the Columbus area.

They are very friendly people. I am not from the area. I live 1 hour away and my car started make a weird noise and starting searching online and they popped up and ended up taking my car to them and they had me up and running in less then 30 mins. Couldn't have asked for any better service. These people are such sweet people!

Great customer service, friendly, committed to quality work. One of the windows on my wife's car was shattered sitting on the street, perhaps by a rock from a lawnmower or something. They bought a new window and totally replaced it! Wow, i'll come here every time.

DO NOT EVER GO HERE.Bernie's kept my car and keys overnight, with neither my permission nor knowledge, leaving me locked out of my home. They said they'd call me when the job was complete, but they never did.Other employees apologized for the mistake and explained what happened (miscommunication between themselves), but I was called a liar by Brenda, the manager, and she has yet to even apologize or admit her and others' mistakes.Horrible, horrible service. Please don't ever get any car work done here. I'm amazed they're still in business running this type of place. I will never return and will do my best to keep everyone I know from having to experience this.

I have used Bernie's for body work multiple times over the last 30 years. They've always been helpful, professional, and done a beautiful job. I wouldn't think of going anywhere else and I refer them when I get the chance.
