They did a great job repairing my truck. They fabricated a piece of the frame for the fuel tank straps and added a bolt that was missing to the transmission mount. The staff and the owner were pleasant, friendly and knowledgeable.

Neva was wonderful and extremely helpful/knowledgeable. They had the part I needed installed in under an hour. Love their shop cat, Maggie.Was quoted a cheaper price than another certain local body shop (Fine Line) and never felt like I was getting taken advantage of with weird, shady business practices (beware of Fine Line)

Highly recommend for OSU students!!! They are some of the most honest folks I have meet in the industry. They let you know what is going on, try to keep it as reasonable as possible, and give you a solid list of things to look for moving forward :)

I had a super positive experience here today. They were very fast, efficient, and explained everything that they were going to do. Sometimes as a woman, I feel like businesses dealing with cars take advantage of me, but I felt very respected and comfortable. If you re looking for a place to bring your car where the employees are not condescending and the pricing is fair, I highly recommend!

Excellent customer service! You're dealing with a true mom and pop shop that you can trust. I had hit a blown out tire on the highway which wrecked the front of my car but they made it look brand new at a fair price. UPDATE: Just saw the finished product on the news and it looked amazing! Y'all are amazing people!This shop was just featured on Channel 6 news. They are fixing an elderly man's car that had been stolen free of charge. I have met the man that you are helping, Daryl, when he delivered a pizza to me. He's a hard working, good man. Thank you so so much for helping him! I will remember this location next time that my car needs work. Thank you for being great members of our community!!!!

I do not recommend this shop to get an alignment. I have been here 3 times for an alignment and the first time they did a great job, this was over a year ago. The past 2 times I have been in for an alignment, have been terrible and dishonest. The mechanic is not straight forward and honest with you. The second time I took my car there, they did not even adjust anything due to seized bolts and they still proceeded to charge me full price. It was very upsetting to me since they were not honest and being selfish. The only reason I took the car the third time was because it was needed ASAP. And again they did not fully complete the alignment. I tried contacting the mechanic and all he does is ignore me. It's like they do not want to do their jobs and actually take the time to work on a car. Very disappointed because I trusted this shop and I heard many good things about the mechanics but I guess things have changed over the years.Service: Steering & suspension repair

I've used this shop for everything--a racing alignment, mounting and balancing tires, and frame/body damage on my 3-week old car that was rear ended while waiting at a traffic light. They have been phenomenal and will stand by their customers and help in every way that they can. Neva talked with insurance on my behalf and worked out a very tricky situation flawlessly. I have no doubt that she had my best interest in mind.My car was damaged and both frame rails on either side were bent upwards into the trunk space. She was very honest with me about the damage, did not take shortcuts, and treated me like family. The process was simple--I dropped my car off with them and Neva took care of the rest with insurance. With her help, insurance was able to cover a brand new car of the same kind for me, and I couldn't have been happier. From Day 1, they've had my best interest at hand. After the crash, the trunk didn't latch and they helped me temporarily zip-tie it so that I could be safe on the highway.I had gone to another place for an estimate and they did not offer to help with my trunk, nor did they even tell me the car was unsafe to drive. They let me drive off without saying a word! Auto Body Specialists will definitely do their best to help you, and I trust them. Best experience and customer service I ve ever had with an auto shop! Friendly service at a very reasonable price. I ve brought my car here twice, once in the spring to have the air conditioner recharged (still working to this day) and the other today to have a flat tire plugged. Today for my flat tire they had me in and out in about 20 minutes. As long as I live in the area they will continue to be my first call for all my car troubles!

I brought my STI here to adjust my coilovers and a 4 wheel - alignment. I've heard good things about the shop from close car friends so I decided to check them out. They were able to adjust my coil overs but whatever tech did my alignment was completely incompetent. For starters my steering wheel was not straight after picking it up. Also noticed 3 of my wheels were scratched from their alignment rack. Had to leave the car there for them to verify and repaint. It took them 3 tries to get the steering straight. For a shop specializing in race suspension/setups I expected more. The owner Brian and Neva were super nice and understanding about the whole process even let me use a loaner after the 4th visit. Just disappointed in the work done. Definitely not coming back unless they get new service techs.Service: Steering & suspension repair

The lady who gave me the estimate was very kind. Seemed like a good place with a fair estimate. Didn t get work done as they were scheduled so far out it would have taken a bit longer than I wanted to get my car fixed.

I almost never write online reviews of businesses, but Auto Body Specialist deserves a five-star review. Last week, the catalytic converter was stolen from my car, rendering it impossible to drive. Neva worked with my insurance to get the work covered, and Bruno took care of all of the repairs, even saving me money on the cost for an upcoming muffler repair by lumping it in to the labor fee.When I got the car back, there was a slight rattling noise, but I brought the car back to the shop and they fixed in a couple hours. They even replaced one of my brake lights for free.This whole situation seemed like a nightmare in the beginning, but Bruno and Neva helped make it a positive one. I would highly recommend them to anyone in need of a trustworthy mechanic!

We were looking to purchase a car but it had been in an accident and I wanted to get the repairs checked out and make sure they were done properly. We took it to Auto Body Specialists and I'm sure glad we did. The repairs that were done were not done right and would have failed eventually. They spotted so many errors on that car that were either not done right, or just hidden hoping no one would notice. After their inspection we decided to get as far away from that car as possible and we have them to thank for saving us the headache and expense. I would highly recommend any car you are thinking about buying but unsure about you take it here first.

I just had Auto Body Specialists restore my 1966 Austin Healey, and I am TOTALLY satisfied ( thrilled would be a better word) with them, the quality and craftsmanship of their work as well as the very fair price.The quality of their work is amazing. In fact, when I got the car back, my neighbor was sure I had sold my old car and bought this new show car.While they were working on the car, they were very good about having me come down during the process and to do some of the tasks during the process. Each time I left their shop, I came away glad I chose ABS to do the restoration. It turns out, they have a number of customers that have used ABS to do multiple restoration projects. (If I had another car to restore, I would not even think twice, I would just take it to them.)It is a family business and everyone there feels like part of the family.Would I recommend them? Totally and without any reservation or caveats - in fact - I already did!Bottom line, I gave them 5 stars out of 5, only because Google won't let me do 6 or 7 stars out of 5.

I broke a license plate bolt when I tried to remove the plate so I could apply a new sticker. I called and was told to come in and they would fix it. I drove immediately there and they fixed it while I waited. Excellent service and convenient for me. I highly recommend this shop.Service: Body & TrimService: Body & Trim

We've had a lot of rain lately and I woke up this morning to a ton of rust that had dripped from the ceiling of our complex parking garage onto the hood of our brand new car. It looked like it had completely destroyed the paint. We popped into Auto Body Specialists who immediately stopped what they were doing to help me. The owner hand buffed some wax onto the hood and it seemed to help so he called in the guys from Tidy Rides Car Detailing who helped with the problem. After the work was done it looks brand new again! I can't thank them enough for the kindness they showed me and my car! We will definitely be passing the word for future body shop work and recommend Auto Body Specialists! Thanks again!Service: Painting

My daughter lives in Columbus and I live in Cincinnati, Dad, and getting a scratch fixed on her car caused me a little bit of anxiety. But the job was perfect and they actually fixed another boo-boo in the front which I wasn t aware was on the to do list but they fixit and the car looks fantastic. Thanks for helping her out.

Auto Body Specialist/ABS is a GREAT shop and they do quality work. Unknown to many, they also excel at custom work. I have come to know them very well over the years, and know that they will always go the extra mile to please a customer. Brian and his wife are very honest people. I was in the shop recently and listened in on a conversation where they agreed to fix another shop's problem when the damage in question wasn't even associated with repairs they did for the other shop's client. Thankfully, most other reviewers feel similarly. I find the "1 star" review more-than-a bit suspect.

These guys treated me like a shop from my small hometown. I wrecked my daughter's car on a Sunday and took it to them 1st thing Monday morn. Neva helped me understand my insurance coverage and even talked to the insurance company for me. They recognized the car would likely be considered a total loss, which meant they wouldn't be repairing the car. But Brian still gave me ride home and they were ok with storing my car until the insurance co towed it away.

The building that now serves as the garage for Autobody Specialists [immediately east of their office and west of a parking lot] had previously been the warehouse for the Vess Bottled Beverage Company [that had been located directly across the street, between 1936 and 1972, in the building that is now occupied by the Lion's Den].I remember a neon "Bubble Up" sign [that had consisted of two interlocking circles, I recall] projecting from the front wall of that garage above the large door. "Bubble Up" had been one of the several soft drinks that the Vess Bottled Beverage Company had manufactured.I have never been a customer of Autobody Specialists because I am a non-driver but I have heard reports about the high quality of their work.The correct name of that business is "Autobody Specialists" [plural] rather than "Autobody Specialist" [singular]. I have not yet been able to convince Google Maps of that needed correction.

Good work but terrible/rude customer service. The lady asked me "are you gonna come in to pay me?" when I was checking my car outside (She was on her phone..). I can't believe anybody would say that instead of asking how I feel about the work.
