I can t recommend Glenn and his team enough. They are truly honest folks and it was a genuine pleasure stumbling on this place and having them take a look at my truck. They were quick, communicative, and professional. If you are out of warranty on your vehicle I wouldn t go anywhere else.

Glen is a great dude. I took my van to him after hours on Thursday, and he got my Ram Promaster back on the road by Monday morning. Very professional, down to earth, explains everything, doesn't needlessly hold your vehicle, great price. What else do you want?

I took my GMC Acadia to Glenn at AAMCO he rebuilt my transmission. I Picked it up today and drove 2 hours home and my car rides like it s a brand new SUV. I m so happy Glenn is a great person and honest and professional. He means business. Thank you Glenn for Everything your awesome.

The guys we talk to Russ and Ron were great. They seemed to be up front about everything. They saved us money on a new transmission and kept us up to date on everything. I have heard many horror stories and had to many of my own when getting transmission work done. So when my wife's car was having transmission issues I was concerned with finding a good place to work on the car. A friend recommended Glenn at AAmco. I took the car in and Glen looked at it and called me later that day. In short, he said the issue was electrical and not in the transmission. He said they did not do that type of work, but recommended a place. Very honest and trustworthy service. Highly recommend Glenn and AAmco.Service: Transmission

I took my Blue Ford 150 truck in they Rebuilt the Transmission 10 days later it went out but with the 18 months warranty they Give you I took it back in and that is when I was stress free. He said this is my Transmission not yours so I was little happy knowing that I didn't have to pay again!

Glenn and his crew are awesome. They've fixed two of my vehicles with transmission and drive shaft problems. They took care of both vehicles quickly and at a great price. I had my transmission rebuilt way over a year ago. I went back in to have a. Neutral switch replaced. They got me right in and fixed it for me. I went to pay my bill and they did it as a courtesy. I love working with this AAMCO location and the owner Glen. My car was pouring transmission fluid. I had it towed to AAMCO through a recommendation. My tow truck driver had nothing but good things to say about them. Very upfront about their inspection fee- that can be used towards the repair of the vehicle. They got me in quickly and I was back on the road with a repair bill under $70.00. Thank goodness it was just a cheap cap seal. Very honest shop. They have a lifetime customer now.Service: Transmission

These guys were great. They were honest about the repair exceeding the car's worth & even told the owner to assure them that it was just the car's time to go, and that it would've happened to whomever was driving, having seen no evidence of operator related damage. Many shops would've been happy to sell me a transmission and installation fees but this is clearly a more reputable establishment. Vehicle storage fee for cars that don't receive service after getting an estimate are charged per day but are very reasonable. Highly recommended.

When our car broke down a few weekends ago I searched online for a place within towing distance from where we were. The Google ratings meant a lot when I needed to trust someone to fix our transmission. Without calling ahead we had our vehicle dropped off after hours by the tow service and prayed for the best. When I called the owner the next morning he reassured me he would diagnose the issue and call back with a quote. I feared the worst. When he called, he described the problems and gave a detailed plan of repairs. We had confidence and peace of mind that he spoke truth. On our way to pickup the car, our second car s brakes went out (scary). After arriving, we learned they repair brakes as well. He was so concerned about our safety he insisted we leave it. We had him repair it at a very reasonable price. We were so pleased with their integrity, customer care, quality service and value. AAMCO Transmission & Total Car Care has earned the highest rating and our enthusiastic recommendation.

Called in a.m. said bring it on by and drop it off for diagnosis. I informed them I was coming over a hour from Chillicothe only for the guy to be rude and turn me away. Don t waste your time with this place they only install oem transmissions they don t even know how to rebuild your transmission. Any shop monkey can replace a transmission but only top mechanics can rebuild them these guys are a joke. Plus this is the most ghetto location in Columbus. Wouldn t recommend at all.

These guys and the owner Glenn are the best around and affordable. I had my transmission rebuilt they fixed my cv axle, rear main seal and oil pressure sending unit these guys did it in a timely manner and did a great job, and top it off they wouldn t give return my truck unless the mechanic felt 100% comfortable and everything was to standard before releasing my truck back to me. Those words alone meant a lot as my kids live in Texas and I travel to Texas a lot.Services: Transmission, Steering & suspension repair, Electrical, Auto engine diagnostic

One of the few trustworthy shops in the city. I have been dealing with this Aamco shop for 7 years now and have never had to take my car back because something wasn't fixed correctly. Glenn, the owner is a great person who knows the business and has a great sense of humor.

These guys are great. Very friendly and helpful. They are not condescending and they don't fear-monger or try to intimidate you into getting unnecessary repairs done. They diagnosed a problem in my car and gave me a better price quote than I got at the multiple different places I checked before going here.It's hard to find trust-worthy information out there, I'll definitely be back to this shop.

These guys were very good to offer honest accounting of what went wrong, when a car loaned to me by a friend (96 Lexus) developed a driving prohibitive transmission issue, supporting the fact that I had not done anything to cause this. They did not try to make a hard sell to the owner for their services and at their suggestion, due to the cost of necessary repairs being up to $3000+, we took the car to the scrapyard, at request of its' owner. The corporate affiliation doesn't overshadow this location's independence; it's owned locally and operated honestly. I'm sure there are benefits to its' affiliation with AAMCO that supports customer as well as the owner. If your concern is cost, by all means, do your due diligence & shop around. Albeit I did not have them do any work, I would use them again, as well as recommend them to others, if not only on the merits already described.

Good place and easy to deal with..Took my company box truck there.. I thought it had transmission problems.. Turns out it was electric problems..Didn't change my company anything to look at it. Nice friendly people.

I took my 2008 edge in because I had lost the PTU unit. I call the dealer and they wanted 3500.00 to fix it and told me that it would be six week before they would get the unit in because it was back ordered. I went here because they had work on my husband's transmission in his truck and had replace the seal in my transfer case and had no problem with their work and they gave us great prices on both of the repairs. I was waiting for the phone call with the cost to fix it . When they call they quota me under 2000.00, I would recommend them to anyone. They are a excellent business.

I had to get a new trans for my 02 f350 with the 7.3. Yes it cost a lot BUT it has a warranty and I had to get a seal replaced and it cost me nothing. The service here is excellent, if they have a difficult situation regarding parts or set up they will call you straight away. They also have after hours drop and pick up which is necessary for me.

The only transmission shop,I will trust with my life. I had 2011 Caddy Sts everyone told me the transmission had to come out of vehicle to replace shift solenoids. $2700 Took it there it was $650 and had my car back the next day. I have been a loyal customer since, and send all my transmission work to them,because of their Honesty.

Recently I experienced a problem with the brakes on my car. Having had a previous great experience with a transmission repair at Aamco on Broad St I decided to go back to them. As with the transmission repair they were professional and completely put me at ease, that the repair would be done correctly and on time. Glen and his whole staff do a great job. I would recommend to anyone needing a car repair to give them a call.

Good honest services provided. Not the cheapest, not excessively expensive either. Work done is quality, and they fix it right. Glenn gave an accurate estimate, and repaired A/C on my Altima.

While I may not have used the AAMCO business at 1385 W Broad to a new transmission, I appreciate their honesty in checking out my car and letting me know not only the cost of a new transmission but that therewere other sounds that would lead to more work even after spending the money on a transmission.It is never easy to let go of that favorite car, but thank you for being so honest with me.
