I am out of town and at The James Cancer Center. We picked up a screw in the tire. They were able to accommodate me with only an hour til closing!! Life savers... Austin... you're amazing!!

When you go into an establishment, how it looks is pretty much your first impression, and you should always pay attention to your first impression. I should have went with my first impression of the place. It is not well maintained and it looks very ran down on the inside. I will never go there again. Before I even went there I called to get a quote, and I made an appointment, and when I got there they charged me more than what they had quoted me, and the only thing I was getting was an oil change. I got an oil change, and as soon as I left from their lot my check coolant light came on and my windshield wiper fluid light came on. I took it AAA repair shop that is out of town and they checked and said that my windshield wiper fluid, and they said I did not have any leaks, so that was not the issue. They also said that my windshield wiper and coolant were both low because no one refilled them during my oil change.

Rose communicated well with me on the service. She was efficient and pleasure to converse with. The technician on my car was professional. I was able to spot check underneath my chassis. The service bay was kept in good order. Recommend this AAA to anyone with AAA service.

I rolled in, desperate with a shredded tire. Having tried to change the tire myself unsuccessfully and on a time crunch I asked if they could help. So professional and thoughtful Mike assured me that they would have it fixed in no time. They did! 10 minutes later I was driving out of there. Massively overpriced!!!! Took advantage of my inexperienced with car repair son. WE WILL NEVER GO THERE AGAIN!! MAY EVEN CANCEL OUR AAA MEMBERSHIP!

They did 1200 dollars worth of work on my brakes. They then told me I needed another 1800 dollars worth of repairs. Instead of doing this, I took my car to a local mechanic. He told me he could have done my brake work for half of that and none of the other services AAA determined I needed, were needed. I will NEVER take my car to this place again. While not always the most affordable place to go, I always get great communication about costs, timely work, and I've never had work suggested which didn't really need done. Because I have been skeptical, a handful of times I went to another place for a second opinion and I was always reassured that the work really needed done. That matters a lot to me!

Thank you to Rose. I called as my tire pressure was low and I wasn't successful in filling up my tire. I recently purchased new tires at this AAA Car Care Plus. Rose gave me several options. I stopped by and she inflated my tire - and it has stayed inflated! Thanks Rose.

Terrible experience!! I dropped off the car on Friday and had an appointment at 2 - the car wasn t looked at until Saturday. (The appointment was a simple inspection, no labor) THEN, they contacted me via text to say that they close in NINETEEN minutes and if I don t pay their fee in that time, they will hold onto my car through the rest of the weekend. Prior, they had said that I can pay remotely at ANY time and that they would leave the keys in the wheel well for me. This left me 400 miles from home, missing work, and requiring additional lodging requirements. Absolutely horrific heads up. Won t be going back again!Service: General repairs & maintenance

I took my car to my previous go-to shop last year to have my brakes looked at because they were clearly not working properly. I was told my brakes were fine. After a year of driving on brakes that were clearly not fine, I decided I was going to take it to AAA Car Care because their online scheduling tool made it super easy to set up an appointment. I am so glad I did because it turns out my brakes were in fact royally fudged up. The customer service was excellent, the scheduling was easy, they sent me a link that explained exactly what they identified to be the issue with photos pinpointing the visible issues, and they provided very clear directions regarding the work they wanted to perform before asking my permission to proceed. Upon the completion of the work, I received a text and phone call that my car was ready and I was walked through my invoice item by item. They offer a warranty on the work they performed and even applied coupons to my bill to reduce my overall cost. As a female, this is the best experience I have had to date with a car maintenance establishment. I highly, highly recommend taking your car here.

This place was a joke. They had my car for two weeks "diagnosing" the issue. After day 3, I called and a gentleman told me that they already knew the issue but had to finish writing up the diagnostic before they could talk price. 6 days in, another guy calls me and tells me they need another hour which will cost almost an additional $200 (even with my AAA discount) in order to know if it was in fact the fuel pump. Also, I should add that when I first dropped off the car, I told them I thought it was the fuel pump. They spent the whole first hour (and 6 days)checking the battery, even though the battery had been tested a week prior. Turns out they wanted to charge me a total of almost $2k for something another shop quoted me a quarter of the price for. When I was able to get my car moved out of there, the battery had been killed and they decided that was not their problem. Very unhappy with the service I received here

I had an oil change done on my car, but I did not receive an inspection report. I called them and asked about the report and was told that their system had problems that day and none of my car's inspection files were there. I asked them if I could bring my car back for inspection and I was told no, because they had already done an inspection. It is just that the files and papers for it are all gone. It's too bad because their services was usually better then this.Services: Vehicle Inspection, Oil change

They worked really hard to get my car working. It took a few days but that was part availability issue not them. They called every day to keep me in the loop, which I really appreciated. The synthetic oil change is also the cheapest I have found in the area.

Huge shout out to Ron and his sidekick for going above and beyond and helping two out of town women with a wardrobe malfunction. Ran diagnostics right away identified the problem creatively came up with a way to rectify the situation. ( blower fell off )Love T Rex and Skellitorrex

I took my Chevy Cruze here and got 2k worth of maintenance done. The very next day my check engine light came back on and I was told there s nothing they can do for me but get another diagnostics test starting at $130. Not sure why I m even a member.

They don t listen to their customers, and they re too busy to properly communicate.I took my near-dead car here to see what was absolutely necessary to fix, in order to make it last another month while I obtain another vehicle. I dropped off my car the night before, didn t hear from them all day. I called in, and was told the list of things needed repaired. When I explained I only need the minimum repairs to last a month, I was told by the manager that he would check to see and get back to me, but that he *didn t think anything was quite urgent enough that couldn t wait a month*. He never called back. The next day, I waited all day to hear back, had to call and was put on hold four times for over 10 minutes. When I finally did contact someone, I was told that ALL the repairs listed, are necessary for me to drive. Which I know isn t true because a sway bar isn t completely vital, and brakes that are borderline wearing out , don t need replaced if the car will be junked in a month. So After two days, of not being contacted, and multiple failed attempts to talk to someone, I was given a quote of 1500 dollars for repairs I don t actually need for a car on its way to the grave. They did not listen to me, it is clear they just wanted to make money, and I still don t know what absolutely needs fixed. I drove off the lot with a potentially unsafe vehicle. How can I trust what actually needs repaired, when i m told i need to fix things i KNOW don t need fixed? I ll be taking my car to another shop that will listen to my situation.

If you ever question whether or not AAA is worth it. My car had all these what were thought to be issues the tow driver came and had us try and start it. Long story short she herself ran out got a battery and replaced the battery in my car. We researched the pricing and it was below market value price on the battery and free installation right in our parking spot. In doing so the bolt in the bracket where the battery sits broke off due to the corrosion of the former battery. We took it to the AAA service center off bethel as the lady suggested and they got the bolt out and replaced it for free.Our tow drivers name was Queen and she was fantastic!Service: Battery

A headlight was out and the place where I bought the light said the car engine was too complicated to be able to replace the bulb easily. I would have to go to an auto shop. I thought $$$. They had recommended AAA CAR CARE on a previous trip so I stopped in there to get an estimate of the cost. They pulled it in, replaced the bulb in 15 mins or so and NO CHARGE. I was delighted! I had a new fuel pump and a couple other things repaired at a AAA certified place in Michigan back in January due to it going out while visiting my parents.Last week my car just stopped getting any fuel pressure as I was driving down a very busy road. I had my car towed to this facility and they took the time to look over everything thoroughly. It was the fuel pump again but even though it was under warranty the other facility in Michigan couldn't find the proper paper work other than a generic receipt with one part number on it and spoke down to me like it wasn't their issue. Ray, Eric, and the other guys took care of the hassle of talking to the place in Michigan to having them pay for the cost of all parts/work and then everything completed within 3 working days for me. I can't thank them enough for all that they did for me. You guys are awesome!

My OSU daughter's car wouldn't start two days before she was to come home for break. She tried having it jumped but it didn't work. Crunched for time, I called around. AAA Car Care Plus was the only local shop able to check it out the same day. Within an hour of having it towed to AAA, I received a call from Eric with good news...it only needed a battery. Knowing our story, they could have easily taken advantage of us and charged us for unnecessary work. I highly recommend AAA because of their honesty!Service: Battery

My tire was punctured with a screw and we brought it here. Initially they said they would need to just get a new tire, but after they inspected it they were able to fix both my current tire and the two donuts my wife and I found out were flat when trying to get the car there. I will always respect a mechanic that finds a way to fix the problem for less and without resorting to just replacing the part immediately.

I have taken my car, my daughters car and her mothers car there for safety inspections. Ken Hilliard and his staff have always been nothing but courteous, fast and honest with their recommendations. They found a severe issue with my daughters car and fixed fast. They are extremely fast and thorough. Highly recommend their sevices to everyone I meet. I will not take my vehicles anywhere else.

I would advise you not to take your car here. They really do not seem to value their customer s time. I made an appointment well in advance and told the service agent that I needed a rental car. I show up to drop off my car at the agreed upon time, and the rental car is not there. I was told over the phone that the service would only take a couple of hours. It took the entire day. A free air filter was included in a maintenance package I had purchased. My car needed a "cabin" air filter, and the service agent refused to cover it under the maintenance package. My car has white leather, and there were black grease smudges all over the front driver and passenger seats. I had to clean both off with cleaner and moisturizer. Overall, the customer service was very disappointing. I would recommend taking your car to another facility for service and repairs, such as CARs in Clintonville.

I recently had service performed on my car. Brakes, brake line, brake fluid, power steering fluid, brake light and drive belt. Car has over 160,000 miles. I was pleased with the service and I appreciated the photos they sent showing the areas to repair. The work was completed within a few hours. I plan to return for service.

Got an oil change. Also was told I needed new tires (which are currently at (4/32), a new battery which has since been rechecked at Germain Ford and found to be in good condition. Was also told I needed to do a brake flush (new brakes and flush were done on previous visit). I don't have much faith in this Car Care Center any more! Beware!!

Dealership said I needed $700 worth of work on the front end of my mother vehicle because of some movement in the suspension would lead to ball joint failure. I took it the AAA because they do most of my work over the years to get their opinion and yes it would lead two ball joint failure in about a hundred thousand miles the car already has 130 on it I don't foresee anybody in our family driving it that far and based upon the Age and condition of the car in general. The ball joints were in good shape and it doesn't affect the safety of the car. Thank you AAA for saving me the cost of something I didn't need.

I brought my car in after driving through standing water that was a result of last nights storm. Driving though this water was unavoidable at the time and as a result I noticed my car was sounding very rough. Being that I have never driven through water like this before I was uneasy thinking that something was really wrong. I came to AAA on my way to work to get my car checked out. To my surprise the noise was coming from a broken plastic guard under the engine that was dragging when I was coming to a stop and nothing major. AAA put my car on a rack and reattached the part that was dragging in 20 minutes. I was really impressed with their effort and willingness to help me so quickly and courteously. Thank you very much AAA! I would highly recommend bringing your car here based on the service that I received.

My husband went in for an oil change and brake inspection back in February. After the work was done, he was leaving and turning onto Bethel Road and his driver side tire came off. Luckily, he and no others were hurt but it could have been way worst. He has photos of that day and it showed that TWO lug nuts were missing and damage to his truck due to it striking the ground after his tire came off. We have great insurance but it would have been nice if they had QC'd their work beforehand and we could have avoided a month of driving a rental and getting the truck fixed. We will not be returning to this AAA on Bethel Road.
