Ryan is one of the most knowledgeable mechanics in Ohio. My bike had multiple problems ranging from small to replacing the entire throttle body large. He diagnosed each problem, gave us alternatives on what we could do and had amazing communication. Every time he approached a new task he send pictures of what he was doing and what steps were next. If you have a problem(s) with your bike don't go to any other dealership or mechanic, see Ryan about it, he'll have it fixed or have solutions on fixing it in an hour. His prices are amazing and always let's the customer know about lower priced alternatives that will work. Overall, very pleased with my experience with Ryan and his team.

Can t say enough about Ryan and the good people at 28 Motorsports. My son races karts and we have been at a huge disadvantage when it came to our motors considering our engine builder was in South Carolina. We have now stepped up to a winged outlaw kart and an entirely different motor. My lack of knowledge with this type of motor was our biggest hurdle and Ryan and his staff have been a dream come true. His knowledge and communication skills are as good as I ve ever experienced. Linkhorn Inspection Group Racing is very thankful having them on our side.

I'm a fairly competent DIYer but as I've got more into track riding, I've had to come to terms with two realities. (1) Just because you THINK you can, doesn't mean you should and (2) a professional is indespinsable when you lose patience or break something while trying to do the former. It is incredibly challenging to find a shop that knows what they're doing without charging exorbitant rates. When you do find that shop that charges reasonable rates for labor and they have more than two brain cells to rub together, they usually have a crazy backlog of work. Even then, between the two examples above, both likely operate their businesses in a poor manner whether that be bad customer service or lacking communication.Enter Ryan and his shop, 28 Motorsports. I used to work nearby and was recommended his shop from a former colleague. Given Ryan's past as a racer and the recommendation, I thought I'd be in good hands to have some race bike prep done. Anyone who's done safety wiring knows how much of a headache it can be.He provided me a fair quote for the work, scheduled a day and time for drop off, and provided me a fairly reasonable turnaround estimate given the upcoming holiday. To my surprise, the next morning I received texts from him with pictures of the work as it was being completed. He told me that the work was nearly done and we could arrange pickup shortly. After reviewing his work, I can confidently say that I will be back again for the reasons outlined above. He was great to deal with and the experience was totally painless. I feel very privileged to have a competent shop local to my area.

Ryan runs one of the BEST motorcycle maintenance/repair shops in Columbus. The work that they did was absolutely amazing. They completed multiple upgrades to my bike including new shocks, fork gators and even a new ECU flash/retune. Overall, a solid 10/10 shop and will definitely recommend them to anyone who rides whether you re a beginner or have many years of experience!

They were referred to me from a mutual acquaintance, Ryan kept me up-to-date almost on a daily basis on the progress of my bike, and worked with me on a drop off and pick up time. If Ryan and Skyler treat everyone like they treated me they will soon have more work than they know what to do with.very quality work and beyond affordable! I would highly recommend them!!

Ryan and Skyler are excellent at what they do. I took my bike in for them to diagnose and repair. Ryan sent me a video shortly after of 11L+ of fuel/oil draining out of my sump (it holds 3.3L of oil normally, for the record), so we knew it was my petcock that failed and sucked fuel down into the motor. It sat like that all winter, so there was no telling what the internal damage was going to be like.Ryan and Skyler took their time going through the bike. They cleaned, rebuilt and synchronized the carbs and have them dialed in better than they have been in years. They installed a new petcock that shouldn't fail like my stock one did. The oil had to be changed about four times to make sure all of the fuel was out of the crankcase. Seals had to be replaced because the fuel/oil mix dried them out. They found little things that needed repaired or replaced as they were going about the repairs. They treated my bike like it is the performance machine it was engineered to be, and like it was their own.Ryan communicated with me the entire time what was going on and was transparent on pricing. Their shop rate is absolutely fair and you get far better service from them than you do at that superstore a few miles north. I will never take any bike I own elsewhere if it needs repaired. I cannot recommend 28 Motorsports enough.

We had a bad experience with a different shop trying to just get money pay out.I called Ryan and he handled everything for us. He called statefarm and actually fought for us. He kept me updated on the damage and the process! When the parts came in He got the bike done extremely fast. And even did extra work he was not required to do (got a scratch out of the tank). He's extremely patient and understanding. We are very very pleased with everything he has done for us. Would recommend 10/10.

Took my motor out of my 02 rm 125 and had a full rebuild done by Ryan when I put the motor bike into the bike I had an issue with spark so I took it back to Ryan and he diagnosed that the wiring harness had an issue. He was absolutely correct. We replaced it and the bike runs perfect! Thanks Ryan you have a great business and awesome attitude! Much appreciated!

I bought a 1973 Honda CB350 that was advertised by a dealer on Craigslist. It only took a few blocks before the bike started stalling and I realized why the dealership's guarantee ended the moment the bike left their lot. Luckily, after much effort and frayed nerves, I managed to nurse the bike to 28 Motorsports. I am glad I did. Ryan is not just a master mechanic, but he is straightforward, honest and more than fair with his pricing. He not only got my bike running better than new, but after my experience with the dealership, he restored my faith in humanity as well. He is an artist. Trust what he says, allow him to work in peace, and you will not be disappointed. A+++

Highly recommend them for any motorcycle needs you may have! My GSXR runs better than ever thanks to Ryan s trouble shooting & dyno capabilities. Bike was even cleaned upon pick up! I would drop any of my future bikes off with him without a worry.

Man is up to his word! After blowing up my s1000rr on nitrous I contacted Ryan so we can get this bike back on the road. He gave me few options after diagnosing the engine what could we do so we decided to go all in. Whole time through the build he gave me updates on everything plus explained every part with pictures as well! Amazing builder and will definitely all my bikes to him as well as all my friends bikes! Great person, great shop, great prices! #28buildService: Engine repair

*ENGINE SWAP REVIEW*I originally took my bike to 28 motorsports for my fork seals leaking. I was in and out in exactly 7 days! Which is awesome considering it was right in the middle of summer. Towards the end of that summer my head gasket blew. I immediately took it back to Ryan at 28 motorsports and got it diagnosed. Sadly with over 30k miles the best choice was a new engine. Ryan was quick to find a new engine for me, at an extremely affordable price! I also ordered some new fairings, headlights and other things to be installed as well. The engine came in and he got to it right away. I believe it was installed within the week! He sends texts and pictures along the way. He's helped me more times than I can count with this bike. Ryan's a really good guy and has a great team behind him! Nothing but good things to say about 28 motorsports with the engine swap and install of the new fairings and headlights. Definitely recommend to anyone looking to get the job done the right way, by an honest person who does NOT cut corners. Thanks again guys and good luck to you in the future!

Really great guys who work here. Very honest & helpful. Came in for some break problems on my Beta RR-S as well as fixing speedometer sensor. If you are thinking of going to Iron Pony instead of Ryan s place. Don t. Here you will find better customer/business relationship as well as individuals who genuinely care about getting you back on track, roads, etc.

Ryan and his team have decades of experience racing and working on bikes.I called for a fork seal change and Ryan diagnosed that the front fork was seized on my 2001 Honda shadow. Other shops refused to work on a bike this old so it was a relief when Ryan discovered the root of the issue and was willing to replace it.They wrestled with and removed the old seized cylinder, and replaced it with two freshly machined cylinders and new seals.Thank you for working through the difficulties fellas. Stay safe out there.

... friendly smile and spot on service. I rode in without appointment to see if he could switch out my my 42 year old speedo (1980 Honda CX500) with one I found on Ebay. He pulled the bike inside and did the switch in about five minutes. More important, he gave my bike a quick looking over and noticed my shifter was loose and about to fall off. Fixed that too. He told me to order a speedo cable and bring it back to him with the bike. "We'll settle up then." My first visit to Ryan's shop was a real pleasure. The shop and reception areas are immaculate. Im so glad I discovered it. Until now I hadn't been able to find a shop within I-270 to even look at my vintage 1980 bike !

Great service, reasonable prices. Got my motorcycle back to feeling brand new (and it s 19 years old). Wouldn t be able to keep it without their knowledge. Did valve lashing/timing belt last season, tyres, chain, fork service and fairing install this season. P.s. bike serviced was a 2004 Ducati 749s.Services: Tires, Steering & suspension repair, Engine repairServices: Tires, Steering & suspension repair, Engine repair

One of the best shops around town. We got an R6 that only needed its valve timings adjusted but found out that didn t do anything. Over a month and a half later after changing all the sensors and wiring harness the issue got resolved. It was definitely a head scratcher but he was adamant about getting it resolved. Thanks a lot! Would recommend 10/10 to get your motorcycles fixed or modified.

While researching a reputable motorsports shop, I came across 28 motorsports. Made contact with the owner Ryan. What a great guy. I explained what I was needing and he made me feel confident that he was the guy for the job. I took my bike to have the Cobra powerflo air intake and PC6 installed. He dynojeted my bike and let's just say, my bike is now is beast mode, lol. I'm probably going to be upsetting some neighbors. Awesome work Ryan. I definitely recommend Motorsports to family and friends. I am very satisfied with the Quality of work performed on my bike. Thanks a million.

Recently purchased a new exhaust for my Yamaha r3. Watched a couple videos and thought I could diy the project myself , ended up completely breaking 3/4 of my rusted header bolts. Brought it to 28 Motorsports after being recommend by multiple shops around my area. Shoutout to the guys here , they took her in without question. Couldn t leave without saying thank you to you and the guys for the countless hours in the shop and not only getting me back on the road but the countless other riders as well.

Amazing service from this shop. We came with a few parts to get fixed for a pit bike and he fixed one right up same day and provided us with a link for a tool to help on our other part. Awesome and fast service. Thank you so much.

Ryan was a pleasure to work with. I took a non functioning strut off a 1996 ZX9R and they were able to rebuild it for me. Took a little longer than what I was originally told but with inflation and the industry being effected I completely understand. I would recommend them.

The services provided by 28motorsports is top tier, the guys over at 28motorsports definitely pay attention to detail and take pride in their work. I m am extremely satisfied with the work that was done on my Aprilia RS 660, and I will definitely be returning for more work to be done on said bike and future bikes. The turnaround time for the services by 28motorsports was reasonable, in addition I was informed/updated every step of the way throughout the process which was greatly appreciated. Lastly the guys at 28motorsports definitely care about their customers as they bring your vision to reality. Awesome job, thank you so much to the wonderful staff over at 28motorsports!

I was referred by a colleague who said Ryan and everyone at 28 do solid work at a fair price. After calling for a quote, I dropped off my 1982 Honda Nighthawk to have the leaky/soft front forks rebuilt. I had him beef up the front springs a bit as I am not a small guy. He obliged and was able to get me in and out in less than 3 days! He even worked with me around my hectic schedule to pick the bike back up. Everything feels great now! The forks are probably better than new. I recommend anyone who needs work done on their motorcycle to hit up Ryan and take it over to 28 Motorsports! I will be back!

After almost 2 long years... I finally received my motorcycle.Ryan at 28 Motorsports worked with me throughout this exhausting process.A simple engine swap turned into replacing almost every essential part. Ryan even contributed a substantial amount of his money to ensure the bike was restored to 100 percent.During that time, Ryan comped numerous mechanical installs for me.I can't thank you guys enough, my motorcycle is running fantastic.

Just got a 23 busa. Wanted to get a new exhaust system. Called talked to Ryan, he helped me pick out the best exhaust to fit what I was looking for. Ended up going with the voodoo full exhaust.
