This is our second time using Port Clinton Auto Repair and they have again gone above and beyond! They picked up and delivered back our vehicle at no cost. That convenience is priceless! They are friendly and accommodating and honest. We won t go anywhere else!

I had a great experience at Port Clinton Auto Repair. I was so grateful they found something that needed immediate repair that I didn t know about. They made extra time in their schedule to keep me safe on the road.An added bonus and a surprise was a bag of kettle corn and a thank you for choosing them to service my vehicle. The carpet was swept on the driver and passenger side as well.

Overall great experience and very convenient. Dropped off my car the previous night for an oil change and inspection, and as they were working on it they texted me a link to the inspection results and list of recommended services that I was able to approve online. I also paid online so pickup was easy.

I had an interesting experience using Port Clinton Auto repair. They go through your vehicle and do a full inspection.After the inspection is complete, you receive both an email and a text with a link to see all the issues and gives you a chance to select what you want to have worked on.Once they have done all the work they let you know via email and text where they provide a link to your invoice and give you the option to pay.This is like no other auto shop I've ever worked with and I am pleasantly surprised with how easy the process was. I feel like the things I needed taken care of were taken care of.

Recently brought in my MB S55 AMG to have the transmission mount and crankshaft position sensor replaced as part of a preventative maintenance schedule. Quick turnaround! Great job! Great price! I'll be having them replace the crankshaft pulley and engine mounts when it comes time for my next oil change. Get ready guys, you're stuck with me now!Service: General repairs & maintenance

I have been a loyal supporter of Kim for 50 years and until now have always highly recommend. This time the quoted scope of work and costs were unnecessary and completely out of line!I had a cordial phone call with Lisa and thought we could agree that they slipped up this time.Now I see your response suggests that I was somehow wrong because I approved everything that was done.Quit blaming others for your issues.Here are the facts: I took my car in because it was leaking fluid from the rear right wheel. The original quote I received for a quick approval included: front brake work $542, rear brake work $990, cabin air cleaner replace $106. I was told once brake fluid gets thrown around they must replace everything. Good thing I didn't just approve without checking. They had done my rear brakes 3000 miles before (about 11months). At that time the front brakes were checked and judged to be fine. Being reminded that they had done the brakes, the rear brakes quote changed to: replace the caliper (warranty) only at a cost of $80 labor. So it went from $990 to replace everything in both rear breaks to $80 to replace a caliper and no need to do any of the other $990 things. The cabin air filter is a one minute job and a $10 filter. They even removed the dirty filter and took a picture of it ( then put it back in without even knocking off the leaf debris, a 2 second chore. I wanted to just let this go but somehow you just couldn't accept it as a one time mistake.

Couldn't ask for better! Friendly, timely, professional, and affordable. Great experience having 4 tires installed, 4-wheel alignment, and full inspection. I waited while the car was serviced and brought back to the bay to inspect the work that was done. My service tech was Jonathon and he did an awesome job. He even spotted a missing piece, luckily nothing that would leave me stranded, and put on a replacement for me. Kim and Lisa were great to chat with and really love their business and their employees. I will tell everyone I can about how great of a job Port Clinton Auto Repair did on my 2010 Flex. I will definitely be a repeat customer for my future maintenance and repairs. So glad I found you guys! :)Services: Tires, General repairs & maintenance, Wheel alignment

I am a frequent visitor to this area, and generally drive my old truck from New York. My truck is an old Chevy and on two separate occasions have had leaks and other problems.Port Clinton Auto Repair has treated me well. They re not cheap, they re not fast , but their work is excellent and thorough. When they are satisfied with a repair, so am I. I would recommend their work and would call them again if I had a problem

Very flexible in meeting my changing schedule, prompt service, brought to my attention several things needing to be addressed. Very prompt and very friendly. Love the popcorn and vacuumed floor mats!

My exhaust came apart at a joint on a fairly new pickup truck and when I arrived the day it happened, they pulled truck in right away and temporarily fixed exhaust with a clamp until they received the right clamp for a permanent repair. I went back after they received the right clamp and was repaired right away on the 2nd trip back, thank you Port Clinton Auto Repair!

I had heard from a neighbor about Port Clinton auto repair, don't usually vere from my normal mechanic but decided to go with port clinton auto. When I called to explain the repairs I was looking for, they were very professional, and explained everything from start to finish, let alone got me in to do repairs within a couple days, which was awsome! I received a txt the same day I took vehicle in to be , saying it was finished and a detailed txt of what the problem was, and pictures also. When I went to pick vehicle up the was a thank you for your service placard on my rear view mirror and a complimentary bag of good popcorn. I would recommend Port Clinton auto to anyone looking for excellent service! Thanks guys gals!!Service: Brakes

Port Clinton auto repair helped me out to find what was really wrong with my Yukon. The prices were very fair but in the end there was too many things for fixing the old girl. I decided to give it to my son who tinker's with old cars. They were very nice about it. I will take cars there anytime

Don't ever take your vehicle to this place period. They will forget you brought it in. Then proceed to have horrible customer service since I made the appointment, then hanging up on me. So yes I don't recommend them for any repairs.

Fantastic service. Very professional and very thorough. They provided a very comprehensive safety and maintenance check on my vehicle, which was very much appreciated. Repair was done in a timely manner and the staff is very helpful and friendly. They've got a customer for life.

Great service, work done quickly. Went in for an alignment. They aligned my car three times, which didn't fix the problem, but they only charged me for one and asked if I'd like to bring it in at a later date for them to look it over and figure out why it pulls. Great place overall.

THE BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!My wife & I are from out of town. The engine splash shield came off the front of our Ford Escape. Port Clinton Auto Repair was able to work me in before lunch and I can t say enough good things about the staff. They were all fantastic and explained what was wrong with my vehicle. Repair was speedy & professional. Grace (Receptionist) & Cory (Mechanic) we re outstanding! My wife & I are on our way to Niagara Falls this Sun. & feel so much better about taking our vehicle. Courteous, friendly, employees. Work done timely and properly!! I appreciated that the tech, Brent alerted me to low battery life of my car battery. I just replaced it 2 years ago, he gave me a print out from Port Clinton Auto Repair's diagnostic equipment to present to the company I purchased from for a warranty exchange!! PC Auto Repair is my go-to destination for all of my repair needs. They are always very fair priced and thorough in their service. They go the extra mile to do the little things and I really appreciate that. They are not the cheapest repair facility in the area, but that is not what I am looking for. I'm looking for honesty and virtue in the business, timeliness, and going above and beyond in their customer service.
