SuperTrapp Industries specializes in exhaust systems for motorcycles and has acquired a number of companies over the years. I recently bought a set of Jardine slash cut "rumblers" for my Honda Rebel as I wanted to improve performance and make a little racket going down the road - too many people had said that my bike was so quiet they didn't hear it coming. The pipes I bought came with a set of instructions that appear to pre-date SuperTrapp's acquisition of Jardine. I was confused about the list of required tools which a 3/32 allen wrench. There were no hex head bolts in the supplied parts kit and Japanese bikes have only metric parts. I called SuperTrapp and was pleased that a human being answered the phone. As a grumpy old biker I weary of hearing the usual 'droid BS: "Please pay attention as our options have changed. Your call may be monitored or recorded for quality assurance purposes..." followed by a protracted, frustrating experience. SuperTrapp is different - in no time at all a helpful gentleman named Steve Glorioso got on the phone. He pulled up the instructions and parts list. We agreed that the SAE micro wrench was probably unneeded and was added to the instructions back when an earlier set of pipes required re-routing of the bike's breather tube and removal of the passenger foot pegs. None of that is necessary with the current kit. I installed the pipes and indeed no SAE allen wrench was needed.Bottom line: Jardine Performance Products are high quality and a nice addition to the SuperTrapp product list. Likewise SuperTrapp's customer service is old school which is a real relief in the modern era of robo-responses and uninformed tech support "specialists."Lastly, I contacted SuperTrapp to pass along that the wrench was not needed and to thank them for the great tech support. I asked for some additional Jardine stickers so I could spread the word. The very same Steve responded quickly and a couple of days later I got the stickers in the mail.Where do you find this kind of customer service these days? SuperTrapp.

I just got the Bootlegger 2-1 exhaust for my 2010 Fat Bob. This thing is f'n awesome, sounds amazing, makes more power, engine breathes so much better. Customer service was great, production and delivery were fast. THANK YOU

Ordered my exhaust 3 and a half weeks ago, expecting it to ship a few days later. Still hasn t shipped, they claim they re making it, but I wouldn t have bought it if it wasn t in stock. No communication, unless I call them, and even then there s no answers. It s to the point I m about to ask for my money back so I can go elsewhere for exhaust to finally be back on my bike. I love their product but after this I will not be a returning customer.(Edit)They offered a full refund, due to my exhaust still weeks out of production. Definitely taking my business elsewhere, it s a shame because their products are awesome.
