Right on time! Helpful. Affordable. Quick and nice quality. Office staff that answers the phone could use some training and learn how to smile when they speak, but once you get past that, the trained field techs and tenure office staff are extremely helpful and their invoicing systems are intuitive.

Lou came to our home the day our window broke. He called ahead and was able to bring materials so he could make the repair that day. Very professional. Glad we called a reputable company!

The service was fantastic and expedient. It only took 2 1/2 days from the time I placed a call to get an estimate to the day the glass was replaced. The gentleman that did the work was very efficient.

I was certain the custom, leaded glass doors to my 4 seasons room were gonners. But i was wrong, thank goodness! The quality of the service, and especially the quality workmanship were impressive, i highly recommend

We love our new window! One of the windows in the 5 Bay window had a broken seal and water condensation got between the panes so it looked dirty. We called the Glass Dr and he came and measured the glass and before we knew it the window was installed and our view is perfect, we are very pleased.

I've had Glass Doctor before which is why I called them for my issue. The glass ended up being replaced successfully but it took since Sept before the got it installed. End result was good so I can't complain too much!

I contacted glass doctors in march 2023 for two shower doors. They sent someone out within 48 hours to measure and provide me an estimate. I placed an order with 50% deposit immediately. Initially, they were great at providing updates via email. It is now December , and I still am shower doorless. Each time I call, the the person answering replies " it looks like the manager is handling this, I can transfer you to him." Every time I am transferred there is no answer. I leave a message, no calls back. All I want is transparency. You essentially have an interest free loan from me right now. Please return my funds. FYI they are falsely advertising and ARE NOT a part of the BBB.

I paid $500 up front for a window they said would take 4 weeks to replace. It has now been over 3 months and they will not return my calls, and have stolen the money for the window. I will be filing a complaint with the better business bureau and taking them to small claims court.

DO NOT USE THIS CROOK FOR YOUR GLASS WORK !!!!!!In December 2022 I had company out to give estimate on replacement glass of patio door. Rep came, measured door and collected my 50% deposit ($400.00). In May or 2023, tech came out to install glass, only to inform me it was wrong size and would have to be re-ordered. After numerous calls to office, I was informed my order was being handled by the manager. I think his handling of the order was to take the money and run !! ( December 20, 2023 ) I have called numerous times to speak with Matt Kelly, who is listed as owner, only to be put into a voice mail box. I contacted the BBB and filed complaint. Kelly didn't respond to the complaint. Small claims court would be next step but would cost another $110.00 to file in Elyria and courts wouldn't do anything even if I win judgement. Lein on property would be another $450.00. This cheat knows the system and that people will just "write it off" and move on. Guess I will read more reviews next time. Only reason he got 1 star is site wouldn't post without it.

As a result of the heat on Sunday, July 1st, I contacted Glass Doctor for emergency services as one of my double pane windows with built-in blinds burst and shattered.I was charged $450 for the emergency service call by Glass Doctor. A service technician arrived with a 9mm pistol strapped to his waist in a holster and entered my home, which was occupied by both my 93-year-old mother and myself (female). Despite the fact that the service technician was pleasant, my mother was greatly frightened.There is no doubt that these are frightening times, but this was so unprofessional, and I do think the technician should have left his gun in his vehicle once he realized that the house was well kept, respectable, and peaceful.Since the encounter, no one in a Senior Management or Regional role has apologized or expressed concern regarding the incident. This is a very sad state of affairs in the world today.2/22/24- The company's trickery and deceit have finally caught up with them. This company was featured on Channel 5 News' 5 on your side. Many people have paid money and never received any product or contact from the company.

I had a scheduled appointment for August 12, 2022, at 3:00 p.m. Once I checked in with the receptionist, I was informed that my appointment had been canceled. I asked, when because no one informed me? Then I asked is there anyone here who could fix a chip in the window because I called off work to come to this appointment ? The receptionist made a phone call, and then informed me no one was there to fix it. Everyone had left for the day. I asked to speak to the manager, and after after 12 minutes of waiting Ms. Grace appeared. I informed her of what transpired with my appointment. She said, we can reschedule your appointment. Then she proceeded outside to see the chip on the window. Once we were outside, she said we can repair it on Monday. I informed I had called off of work for this appointment. I couldn t call off again. I then asked will I receive a discount for the inconvenience? She said, no . I then asked if I could speak to someone above her and she replied, for what? I helped you. When I went back inside the shop, I was waiting to speak with the receptionist, Ms. Grace tried to force me to talk to her after being disrespectful. I explained to her that I didn t do anything wrong and I would prefer to speak with the lady (receptionist) I spoke with earlier. I left my contact information for Mr. Kelly (owner) to contact me. I waited two days to speak with him, which was pointless. He had someone call me to schedule my in-house appointment. I wasn t charged the mobile price. However, I was charged $106. For a chip the size of a period. Moreover, I ve never experienced such horrible customer service as I did on august 12, 2022, from Ms. Grace and the Glass doctor. If you can, use another company because this company does not provide good customer service. Below is the chip that was fixed.

I really appreciate the job that Louis did on my window. The new window looks beautiful and clear,it's definitely amazing. I appreciate the professionalism. I also appreciate the great mannerisms as well. I will definitely recommend the (Louis) glass doctor to anyone who needs a repair, replacement,etc. Thanks again

I have 4 windows with cracks at my home. On July 23, 2022, a year ago, I received a quote and paid 50% down. I was told it would be about 3 weeks. It s now a year and I do not have my windows fixed. They do not reply to emails. I was given the owner s voicemail and I left a message. No reply. I decided to report my issues to the Better Business Bureau. They closed the case because the Glass Doctor will not respond. It looks to me that they took my money and ran. I do not recommend this business. I guess my next step is small claims. I m 65 years old and this is my worst experience ever with a company.

The outer pane of our front living room window broke. Glass Doctor came out the day after I called them to quote the work. They had the replacement double pane insert custom made and installed less than 3 weeks later. This was after another local shop quoted me 6 to 8 weeks!The tech did a great job taking care not to damage the wood trim around our oak casement window.

This company has greatly disappointed me. I ordered a window for the front of my home virtually on the first of October. I have had one follow up email regarding the status of my order and it is now approaching December. I still don't have a window and I now have a housing violation. I truly regret reaching out to these people. This is the first time I have experienced reviews as being very misleading. I will never do business with them again. To add insult to injury it was ONE window and a side door window at that (very small).

I was told 3 times that it would take an hour and a half to two hours for my window replacement. Once by the person scheduling the appointment, the second time by the person at the counter when I dropped my car off and the third time when I called to check my car's status after it had already been 2 hours and 45 minutes.I t's now more than 4 hours, they're still not done and they've already derailed my tight schedule for the weekend. Blatant disregard for their customers' time is a big red flag

Cancelled last Thursday due to weather, but ended up being the pick day of the week. Cancelled two more times this week, once due to weather (again, a fairly nice afternoon 50* with no rain!). Then again today due to overbooking (can t imagine why!). I waited here all day, too, just to get canceled at 3:50. This is unacceptable. Will go with another company. The customer service reps were nice enough, that s the only reason it s not a 1 star reviewPrevious glass doctor install was good enough; he had a few issues with the car, and said he regularly cancels jobs if they seem too tough

Cory who gave the quote and installed the window was great and super fast while still answering questions. The customer service people who handle answering the phones and emails not so much. First I got the quote but I had to wait to get the funds together, they sent me multiple email and texts reminders which was fine but frequent. Once I had the money I replied to the email telling me to call or reply to this email to accept the quote. Then they emailed back saying I had to call so no idea why the email said I could reply to it. I called and paid the half down deposit. Then I got an email asking me to write them back and type the words "I accept this quote" or something like that. No idea why, I'd think paying half down would imply I had accepted the quote. Then it took several emails to get them to send me receipt for the down payment. Then when they called to schedule the install she said she'd call or text back to confirm, never did. I emailed to confirm and all I got was a reply that said yes you are scheduled on this day. No time window or anything, was weird. Whoever handles their emails doesn't sign them with any kind of signature either.

I ordered a replacement window February 8 and was told it would take 4-6 weeks to get in. I have called on the 6,7 and 8th weeks and the only response from the person answering the phone is "we will contact you when we here something". A simple phone call to the manufacturer would clear this issue up but they refuse to do so. Certainly not a very good way to help a customer that has already paid for half of the order.Del Griggs

I am very grateful they could send a technician out within hours! They replaced my broken glass with a better-quality piece and it's under warranty. A bit pricey in my opinion but I have nothing to compare the price to.

On December 20th 2022 a Canadian goose flew into my windshield. I contacted State farm to file a windshield replacement claim. With an eminent storm heading to the Cleveland area within 48 hours I called approved locations to see who could get me in the fastest. Glass Doctor promised me an appointment first thing on the 21st. I arrived at 9:00 a.m. at my schedule appointment time but had to wait 15 minutes for a customer in front of me complaining that she didn't get what her salesperson had promised her on another transaction. I told the front reception person that I had an appointment for a windshield replacement and was told that it would be about two and a half to 3 hours. Which is what I was told on the 20th on the phone. I live 40 minutes from the facility but it was the only place that could get me in next day, I took an Uber to downtown Cleveland to have breakfast and get some work done. I arrived back 3 hours later and was told they had not started my vehicle due to an issue with the glass and a new one would be arriving momentarily. I urged the importance of better communication and told them that I just ubered back to be told two and a half hours again. I was told that they would contact me if they were any other delays. I took another Uber back downtown and two hours later at approximately 2:00 p.m. I reached out to them and was told that they hadn't received the glass yet and it would still be another 2 hours. I asked them if they had started anything on my vehicle to which they replied they had not. I asked to speak to a manager and was told they did not have a manager on site nor one available. Not feeling like they were a trustworthy company based on this experience and the complaints from the customer in front of me upon arriving I decided to pick up my vehicle and take it to another company.

The Glass Doctor was able to schedule me quickly for my repair. They came out for an estimate the next day and replaced the glass the morning after that. The only reason they couldn t do it on the spot was bc of the temperature outside was too cold to cut the glass in the truck. The technician that came was very friendly and professional. I will definitely use them again if needed. Highly recommend.

They came out to measure, quote and replace bad windows in which the seals went bad in them and I had heavy condensation between the panes. They were prompt, professional and very courteous. When they came back to install my replacements, the tech was very polite and knowledgeable. He had the job completed in no time. I would highly recommend them to anyone..

From the first call for quote for cracked windshield, it was a pleasant experience. Pricing was beyond fair. The scheduling was equally simple. The customer service from the multiple people that I spoke with was outstanding. In fact, Every employee that I spoke with was professional, knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. The work was done when promised and I was on my way with a brand new installed windshield in about an hour and a half.
