In order to write a good review I waited a week or so I write it. The employees Dan and Sidney were very nice, very helpful and seemed genuine! Unfortunately within a few days the check engine light came on, needs engine work. Two days later there is a popping sound and I no longer have reverse. Now I'm looking at $3500 for a transmission. I bought as-is from some smooth talkers so the problem is mine.Also I paid out right with a check from my bank, Dan decided I owned the bank and sent my title to the bank. Even though I made it clear that the title was to come to me not the bank. Very disappointed! DO NOT go to Dams!***** We did not discuss a warranty. But we definitely discussed not sending my title to the bank! So that's my problem to work out too.

So I found a car on cars . com that was at this dealership. I reached out and was only treated with the most respect and customer service. People, these guys sell used 10+ year old cars. From what I can tell, they get most of their cars at auctions and just flip them. A lot of things can happen to a car over 10 years old. Do your own homework on a car. There is car fax to help with histories of a certain car.Now back to Dams auto. Shelly was great. I was a cash buyer who also needed to fly into Cleveland to see the car they had. They did insist and require a small deposit to hold the car for me. I needed a couple of days to arrange an airline ticket and arrive at their dealership.The car was exactly as advertised !!!!!I have had the car over 2 weeks. I drove it 1500 miles home and have had zero problems since I purchased it. Zero issues. People reading this review. Have some common sense. Take each review for what it is. Bad credit, bad car, blah blah blah. Do your own homework. I had a A+++ experience with these guys and you can too. Good luck finding your car.

This dealership is super easy to work with (especially Marin who was with me throughout the entire transaction). All great guys! They make the "buying experience" fun & easy. I am very happy with my purchase (a truck)...their inventory seems like all decent products with super pricing. I will definitely do business with them again! Thank you all for a "HASSLE FREE" experience!!!P.S. my daughter's boyfriend purchased a car here, I purchased a car here and soon my daughter will be looking to purchase a car here as well! Recommend to all!

Buying a car from DAMS Auto as a pleasant experience. Shelly was great to work with and arranged to meet with us on a Sunday. We traveled 2hrs to get to DAMS and he had the car we were interested in ready to go when we arrived and let us give the car a very thorough inspection before the test drive. No high pressure at all. He processed our paperwork very quickly and we were on our way!

Great experience overall. Contacted them through carfax and got a very quick response. Scheduled an appointment through Shelly When he had called me. Went there, test drove the vehicle I wanted, talked about the car/asked questions and once I was set on it they brought me back to do paperwork. Great group of people they have working and a very welcoming experience. Would Definitely recommend

This place is the worst dealership in Ohio. I don t understand why is it still open. They only have wrecked cars that have been repaired very hazardously. Workers are rude and disrespectful mostly through online communication. Never plan on visiting or buying cars from this place, it s a scam!(And yes, I did visit your place, and test drive one of your car, see picture, but was sadly disappointed )

So I want to let you guys know what your dealing with, so I'll tell you a little story. The whole story because it's pretty funny. I saw a used 2006 Nissan frontier with very low milage for 10 grand. I came in to check it out assuming something is majorly wrong with it because of the price. They let me take it for a test spin and when I got back the check engine light was on and I noticed while I was out it was blowing thick white exhaust from the back. I asked about it and the salesman said it was just an O2 sensor. I said ok well if that's all it is why isn't it fixed? How are you gonna sell me a car that can't pass an eCheck? So they took it to the shop and I left. They called me twice trying to get me to put the five grand down. I said no, when its ready to be sold I'll buy it. I came in the next day because it was "ready", with my mechanic buddy and they wouldn't let me take it across the street for a prepurchase inspection. The salesman was beat red. I knew he was trying to hide something. Eventually they said yes and we were out taking a look at it when my buddy found something minor wrong, and another salesman comes immediately out like "oh no way that's bad?" And then says the cars already sold. They either pawned it off quickly to the next idiot or they were lying and knew we'd find something serious. The dude argued with me that he sold it because I wouldn't put any money down and I said why would I put money on a car that can't pass an eCheck? He claimed the white smoke was fixed and went to start up the car and it wouldn't even start. We laughed and walked away. We stood there for five minutes and they couldn't get the truck to start. Sorry for the long story but I felt it was entertaining enough to write. These dudes aren't selling you a used car. They are selling pieces of junk to people that are desperate enough to trust them. They have a lot to hide and I wouldn't buy anything from them without a prepurchase inspection.Edit: to your response, glad you were able to sell a car that couldn't drive off the lot lmfao. You guys are full of it. I'll come down there tomorrow and respond to this if you'd like. Your scam artists. Explain why the car wouldn't start? Why was it blowing white exhaust in your picture online even lmao and why you wouldn't let us take it to be inspected? Because you don't sell cars. You flip pieces of undrivable sh*t. I'll be down there tomorrow to respond to this for real. Y'all losers don't scare me. I'll make sure nobody's buying a car that day lmao.

I drove all the way out because they claimed the car I bought was just in a very minor accident. It turns out the air bags were blown and never fixed. The horn didn't work. A full panel was replaced with a slightly different color. They never told me it had title issues either. I was certainly too trusting and didn't inspect the car well enough when I purchased it. Learned my lesson. Be super careful shopping here and make sure your inspection is extremely thorough.

You'll get what you pay for. Almost drove away with a rust bucket with wiring issuesOwner: actually I was very much approved by Capital One but I didn't want to bring that up because it's a last option. That being said, The truck you tried to sell me had water damage including multiple wiring malfunctions. The car's history report was wiped so you cannot initially know exactly what happened with the vehicle after you took it from New York. Initially you did not close that there was an issue with the vehicle though. I did smell wiring burning coming from it. So So what you and your team are doing is very much illegal. Have fun with that

purchased a vehicle from here today! car had been sitting for a while so it had gotten pretty dusty, but their staff took care of it without me even having to ask. outstanding customer service and hospitality + extremely reasonable prices all across the board. would recommend to anyone looking for a used carlove u guys i ll be back in a few years

Drive an hour and a half. Checked out truck. Told the guy I'd like 5-10 minutes to think about it and he says, "Make it 5". That remark was the decision maker..... Told you I was an hour and a half away. Left immediately to come see the truck on a Sunday!!!!! You did not say it wasn't 4x4. Why am I a creep now? Your very unprofessional.....

Never in my life have I ever bought a used car so fast. Wonderful and honest staff. They had the perfect car for me at an amazing price; and super low mileage. Super sound car. No flaws. Thank you, guys!

Will post anything to cover up their shady practices and badger you if you post a bad review, don't give them your phone number and whatever you do don't give them information. Had my credit ran 3 times, docking it each time, wasted hours of my time only to sell car to someone else. Was approved at two other institutions who said this place and their "lender" lied to me. STAY AWAY.

Best place to get a car, have bought multiple cars from dams and have always been happy with the purchases. You wont find cars like that anywhere with this price and mileage.

Purchased a car from them, spent $7000, have had it a few weeks and I was told it had new brakes and tires. Had to replace the brakes that started scraping in 24 hours, back tires are right at legal to sell used, check engine light came on within 24 hrs, had to replace the purge valve solenoid and gas cap. Get a new exhaust gasket, weld a leak and replace the flex pipe to make e heck ready. Strut has to be replaced and the car is not wanting to start up. The windshield fluid nozzles were broke, had to replace them, had to replace the air conditioning actuator, had no remotes, had to buy them and pay to get them programmed. They couldn t even detail the car, took 8 hours to get nasty ness out of the seat tracks. I have pictures and receipts. It appears they know nothing about the maintenance on the cars they sell. I recommend staying away. When I messaged them about selling an unsafe vehicle he claimed again the tires and brakes were new and never commented once I showed him the rusty scraped up parts. Stay away I have put a lot of money into this car in a few weeks and it still needs more! I don t know how to reply but this guys response is a joke, as I recall your gave me $1000 off for buying two cars. Not for mechanical issues. $13000 and $7000 was wasted, you did not know anything that was wrong with this car and tried to convince the guys there was nothing wrong with this car. Yes used cars are used but dealerships selling cars off the lot that were not even inspected or safe is wrong. I Have over $1000 in repairs so far to the car. My review stands. Don t buy from these guys!

Me and my wife bought a vehicle from here, and this opinion is not paid for. We were walked through the vehicle and test drove it. Amazing customer service, amazing communication even after sales. We had a slight issue once we got home and they resolved it immediately and not to mention fast. That feeling you get when you re nervous or scared. Don t be with this business. My family and I vouch for this business. To limit to 5 stars does no justice, I d give them 10. I know everyone has their own experiences, but my experience was the best I ve had with buying a car.

Sold me a car with a multitude of issues, none of which were disclosed. Had to replace the alternator, serpentine belt, battery, brakes, tires, and horn all within the first month and I m still having issues.

Did business with Marin who made it a great experience! Had to fly into Cleveland and after a layover nightmare Marin picked me up from the airport early catering to anything that I needed. Truck was everything described with no surprises. Awesome prices, awesome truck, and awesome employees.

Saw their add on a car sales app and called Dan the next morning, he was able to tell me a little more about the truck and send a few more pictures I requested. I was an out of state sale and they processed some temp tags for me and made the whole process super easy, drove it home the same day. Fair and competitive pricing! Truck was as described and runs great. My first vehicle I've bought from a dealer, best part was good communication which is scarce on marketplace. I called they awnsered.

This place is ghetto and so unprofessional the car I was test driving smeltLike weed had tabacoo gutts and ashes all on the seats crumps the car was a 2019 and looked like trailer trash. I tried to talk to the sales person about the price and some random guy THAT WORKS there was yelling across the room interrupting our conversation this was extremely disrespectful this whole place needs to be shut down. Worse experience ever

He must be paying for the good reviews from google CHECK THE BBB REVIEWS!!! the guy is a scam artist sold us a salvaged title car that we have had for less than 6 months and have had in the shop 4 times with major issues, now needs a new engine AND sold us a warranty that didn t even apply to a salvaged title car! Taking no responsibility .he is very unethical!!! Run away!

They were able to help me find a solution super quick, and it didn t take long at all! And my car is amazing! I love it, it runs good with zero issues.

Be very careful with this place ..make sure you thoroughly inspect the vehicle ...they are very shady & will lie to your face to make the sale..They sold my son a car that they claimed they inspected & tested everything , 3 weeks after the purchase & the entire brake system needs replaced, over $1100 in repairs ..................Interesting .. to make the sale he was told the car sat & was parked for a long period of time but that the brakes were inspected , tested & they were fine.He's had multiple quotes on the repairs , I think we both know it's not the mechanics that are ripping him off.Honestly It's his fault for buying a car "as is" ..from any lot but especially from a lot that was given a low rating from the Ohio Better Business Bureau.
