Avoid this dump! The building may look nice on the outside but the customer service within is trash! They re extremely rude and disrespectful! I took my money and business elsewhere! If I could give no stars I would!

I thought I had a transmission issue. Turns out after running a diagnostic on my car. There was no transmission issue. I was only charged for Diagnostic. So in actuality I don't think this company is up to make money just because they specialize in a particular field. When I do have a transmission issue I will be taking my car back to them.

Took my car here for a new transmission and they were so rude! I would never recommend this place to a friend, relative or even an enemy. Go somewhere else and save yourself the headache.Service: TransmissionService: Transmission

Took my vehicle to Atlas 2 years ago. They told me I needed a rebuild transmission, charged me $4,000. Not even 2yrs later and less than 20,000 starting to have issues again. They had my vehicle for almost a month when they did have it. Not worth even calling them again.Service: TransmissionService: Transmission

I brought my work van with a busted side step by my driver's side door and Jose took care of fixing it the proper way and reinforced it . Took me in without an appointment and fixed it within an hour. Awesome job and reasonably priced. You have won our business. Thanks again.

NEVER GO TO THEM! Me and my fianc took our suv to atlas to get a new transmission put in for a little more than $3,000. They never installed a new transmission! They rebuilt the transmission with old recycled parts! The transmission is still having issues and they won t fix it even though it is still under warranty!Service: TransmissionService: Transmission

No trouble for me, from the start.. very friendly taking information on phone, towed my vehicle to their garage ! How can this be a bad thing - Was the best choice by far, after several calls looking for repair place, they were the only one who acted like they wanted my business. I'd only refer these people, my experience was perfection at Atlas. My car runs like new !

5 stars is just not enough, Atlas Transmission is truly outstanding! All of my experiences with this family owned business have been extremely respectful and efficient. They went above and beyond all of my expectations, caring about my car as if it was their own. I highly recommend them for all car services.Service: TransmissionService: Transmission

I was having trouble getting my Camaro to go into 1st and reverse. I dropped it off to have it looked at and after not hearing back for a few days I called and they said Noone had a chance to look at it. I then called after a week and was told a couple techs. Drove it and didn't find anything wrong with it. The owner told me he would get it hot and try again on Mon. I called him Tues. And he said he didn't have a chance to look at it so I told I'd just pick it up. He also said he had to charge me for diagnostics. I am very displeased with this service and do not recommend this shop to anyone.

WARNING!!! They will always scam you! I used to date a guy who works here and he said the owner ALWAYS sabotage the customers car, to get them to come back. Their favorite thing to do is mess with the Transmission because people cant recognize what they've done. There is no room for this behavior in our city! Lets NOT give them any more of our hard earned money!!!

I took my car to this shop to have a valve body replaced. I checked with my local dealership who had the part in stock and gave me a price of $940. I took my car there on Monday 31st of August. I stopped by on Friday Sept 4th to get an ez-pass that was in the car. My car had its keys in it with all the doors unlocked in a parking lot across the street. No one was in the lot and the doors to the lot were wide open. I wasn t told it would be open like that or I would have taken more of my belongings out of the car. They said dogs patrol at night, however, anyone could have walked up during the day and gotten in my car. Fast forward to today, Sept 11. I finally got my car back after two weeks. This is a job that should ve taken 2, 3 days at most according to the dealer. I called to ask about the charges to my account and was on hold on and off maybe 5 times while they were rude, making short handed comments. I was trying to find out what work was exactly done to my car but no one would tell me. They said it took so long because they had to order the part but the part was in stock at 3 local Subaru dealers because I called them. The labor charges on my bill made sense at $105/hr but they charged me two times what the normal rate of a valve body. So now I m out about $1000 and have just been berated by their staff who are not kind, helpful, or polite in either of the two times I went there. I don t understand how people can be so mean.Service: Transmission

They pretty much did the job we needed; we needed our transmission replaced and our mechanic sent us to Atlas. We got it there and dropped it off and they were quick to do the job. Think it was about 4 days. When we got the car back, we started driving and for about the first 5 minutes it was fine. After that, it started shifting so hard i thought i would get whiplash. We called them and we had to take it all the way back out to them the next day to figure out what had been done incorrectly. For the amount we had paid them to fix the transmission I was unbelievably mad i had to take it there again and be without my vehicle again. After dropping it off, they called about 3 hours later and said it was ready and they had fixed the problem. Turns out after they put the new transmission in it, someone dropped the ball and didn't program the dang thing. Thank God my husband was the one dealing with it because I would have not been so nice. I understand that mistakes happen because we're all just merely humans, but you had ONE job!

I own a 2012 Nissan Rouge with a cvt transmission. When it went out I contacted 3 transmission shops and no one would touch it. When I called Atlas, they told me they could fix anything. It took them a month but my car runs like brand new!Service: TransmissionService: Transmission

DO NOT CALL THIS PLACE. THE WORST Receptionist EVER. couldn t even get my vehicle towed to this facility because the person who answers the phone does not listen and has a very negative attitude. I ve heard so many times over the years the shop is excellent. The one time I need a repair for my vehicle I can t even get it towed there because the receptionist never sent the tow truck. When I called the next day I was told he sent the truck to the repair facility that could not fix my vehicle after asking me for my home address where i said the vehicle is. I asked to speak with a manager and he told me all of them are across the street and I have to call back later. This is not the service I would expect for a business that deals with problems other places can t. I DO NOT EVEN RECOMMEND CALLING THIS PLACE

Had rear end noise. Took it in and was told it needed to be repair. $2,000 what's the price. Came back 4 days later to pick it up was told there was also a bad wheel bearing that they replaced for free. That threw up the red flag ask the young lady behind the desk about the free wheel bearing repair which would cost about 350 at any other auto repair shop. She instantly got defensive and very rude and said it needed to be replaced but never called to tell me. Very shady. I do not think they replace my rear end. I think they replaced a wheel bearing for 2000 bucks.I don't recommend

I have had multiple things repaired at Atlas Transmission and each time they were great! I couldn't believe how fast they repaired it. They even had it picked up for me since it wasn't safe to drive. Everyone I spoke with was very polite and explained the problems in great detail. I can highly recommend them for whatever transmission problem you might be having. My car is now running great thanks to them!

Very unprofessional. Staff is rude. They will find other things to fix that aren t even broken unless they break it. Will never refer anyone to them nor will I allow anyone I know to use them. Shut down and move on there are to many good businesses out there.Service: TransmissionService: Transmission

The bad reviews are accurate. Communication is awful. The woman at the desk who answers the phone sounds miserable. I could barely get anyone to give me any information about my truck I had in there for a transmission issue. They sounded mad that I was calling for updates. I had to repeat the same story three times of why I brought it in. They called back and said it was done with no explanation of what they did. The issue did not get fixed. Took it to another shop. Never going back.

Over the years I've had 2 different car transmission redone with Atlas. They did a great job. But the latest interaction is probably the best. My wife's van is having transmission issues. I went to Atlas because I haven't been having good luck with the dealer. I explained what was going on to Irene- she knew I was still under warranty and told me to go to a different dealer. She called a dealer she knew personally and explained what was going on to them. This dealership is getting me in right away and addressing my issues. I've never meet a more honest repair shop. I would recommend Atlas to anyone. Its hard to find a business that treats people like people anymore.

We took our van to Atlas Transmissions for a "new" transmission in October 2011. It came with a 1 year warranty. In June 2012 it seized. We had it towed there to be looked at. The daughter/receptionist was so nasty, and rude she wouldn't let my husband talk to the owner when he called. He went to the shop only to get the same nastiness and rudeness from the owner. They refuse to even look at. They just keep saying it isn't the transmission. My husband offered for them to put a new tail shaft on like they say is the problem and if it is it he will pay for the work and be done. They refused that also. they told him to take it somewhere else. The are the rudest most ignorant people to deal with. I would NOT recommend them. They are so nice before they get your money. They do NOT stand by their warranties. They are scammers.

They left my vehicle outside with the keys in it and it was stolen. Went to pick iit up and paid them for the service when they couldn t find our vehicle anywhere on their storage lots soon to be identified as stolen. Sorry, our mistake was the response. Not even sure when it went missing. Made a police report and will be filing suite.Service: TransmissionService: Transmission

Atlas has always done a great job on all of my family's vehicles. I took my car to another shop who told me I needed a $6000 repair. The people at Atlas were very straight with me and told me exactly which parts I needed to keep my car running. They were fast, efficient and reasonable in comparison to any other place I talked to.

They got us in when another place gave us the run around and cancelled last minute. Problem fixed quickly so my family could get back to our normal schedule! Thank you.

Whatever good reviews are written must be written by this company itself. Fake. They rebuilt my truck transmission for 3500 dollars and it had the same problems as before and wouldn't fix it because they blamed my brakes. Within a year I could not use my truck no more even though I only drove it 5000 miles. I got it rebuilt again by Custom Trans and found out there were old parts left in my transmission. Now my truck has not had a problem since going on a year and a half. If you need transmission work go to Custom Trans. You will pay a little more money but you will be happy with the work.

I attempted to do a transmission repair myself as OBD codes and symptoms pointed to a transmission issue I could do myself and save some money, well two weeks later I discovered how wrong I was. Two people I trust reccomended Atlas as a shop they have used more than once with good results. I called, Atlas towed my 2016 GMC in the next day, diagnosed, gave quote and had the rebuilt transmission in the truck and ready for pick up within 8 days of the initial call. I would say I don't have the fondest memories of car mechanics but I've been driving the truck for over a month since the repair without incident, it shifts better than it ever did and I would use Atlas again. im not hoping I ever have to, but if I have transmission troubles on a vehicle I will call them 1st, even skipping the lame attempt I made at fixing the last one

This place is very unprofessional. They were given almost $2000 to fix trans and gear for the next day when the vehicle was suppose to be fixed the vehicle did the same exact thing. I was inconvenienced I had to call off from work and everything. They didn t offer to help with the tow or anything (2 tows not one) and when I got there I treated like I was a bother or some type of peasant. I will never do business with these people again and I will recommend no every does.
