Big shoutout to Dave, Dana, and Anita at Rush Truck Center's Parts Department! Their expertise and dedication made our experience seamless. They were incredibly helpful in sourcing the parts we needed for our trucks, providing top-notch customer service every step of the way. We highly recommend reaching out to them for all your truck part needs. Thanks again for the fantastic service!

The worst going. If you need help, try a decent international dealer who wishes to keep your business opposed to the this place. It is always a hassle and you are putting the employees out by trying to order parts here.

Owner operator beware. Another 1700 dollars wasted. I really thought they diagnosed my truck and repaired it but obviously not. Was having clutch issues. No clutch brake and very little pedal. 400 to diagnose my truck. Said they figured out it was the clutch master cylinder and it needed to be changed. 480 for the part and the rest was labor for a total of 1709. It seemed to work for a few days then was doing the same thing again. So now I'm headed to another shop. Won't be a rush this time since I'm in New Jersey. I would definitely watch these rush shops. They think this was worth 195 an hour for labor. I think not.

It don't matter how small the repair you will be down for a week at least, even if the parts are in stock. Smh... just for to the Dayton location it's much faster.

Part 2 of Review 8/28/23:I could not get anyone to provide an update. I left countless voicemails, emails and finally Shane, who was on vacation, had Kenny call me to provide any sort of update. It took another 2 weeks to get a quote. They told us it would be $32,000 to replace. Their lack of communication and the experience itself made us look into alternative solutions. We were referred to another shop who ultimately diagnosed the turbos as the actual issue and we paid less than 1/3 of their quote to get it fixed and far less time. Moreover, I had to pay Rush another $1500 to misdiagnose our truck and 2 more tows at $525 each to get it out of there. I am so disappointed with how we were treated and felt they were not as thorough as we thought they were and definitely not as forthright. We would've spent $32,000 and still had to fix the turbos which is absurd and dishonest! I don't know if they've just gotten too big or what, but if I am spending my hard earned money with you, I expect you to be professional and follow up with me. I expect that you'll have trained technicians and that you will provide us with your best plan. They told us we had NO compression in the 5th cylinder and after being towed out, I read the report for myself at the next shop. There was compression. Facts are facts. I cannot recommend this shop. The only follow up I received was after we towed it. Someone I had never spoken with called for payment of the misdiagnosis ($1500 plus we had to pay $1100 for round trip tows) and lost a month of business during the summer. A week after that, the GM called to see if I still wanted to buy the $20,000 engine and have it repaired elsewhere. I advised they misdiagnosed it and there was no apology and no follow up ever since. Extremely poor service and experience at this shop. I feel take advantage of and ripped off. I do not trust them.

This place has you over a barrel, the phone for the parts department are rarel answered by the location you call. When you ask if the part is in stock and they say we will pay it out for you. You get there, and you have to start the process all over.

Part 1 8/28/23:We purchased a used 2009 Workforce W42 truck and brought it to Rush Truck Center days later for a thorough diagnostic. I told them my primary concern was safety and I wanted the vehicle checked out from top to bottom to ensure it was not only safe, but to resolve any issues they discovered and prevent future major repairs. They told us we could anticipate them having it for 2 weeks which turned into two months and longer. We understood them to be the go-to experts on big rigs and believed everything they advised along the way during their inspection, spending close to 20K in "maintenance level" repairs in total. All the while, you could rarely get an update or someone to answer the phone. I was having to ask for the manager each time, which should not be the case. Shane and David were helpful when I could get them on the phone. It was an extremely frustrating process, especially since this is a business vehicle that we count on to make revenue. We didn't have any visible leaks when we initially brought it to them and were told the transmission and engine were in good working order. They made me feel good about the purchase. My only concern when I first brought it to them was the front end shake. They said they checked everything and the king pins were fine. We fixed everything they advised us on without hesitation because we trusted it needed to be done and we wanted our employees to be safe and in a reliable vehicle.Since they don't do tires, they recommended we take it to Best One Tire in Fairfield after their repairs. Once our truck was on the lift, they showed me where the tie rod was loose, causing the front end shake I shared with Rush Truck Center more than once. I called Shane at Rush Truck Center immediately since we paid them over $2,000 to inspect it plus a number of other repairs and they said nothing was wrong with the tie rod per their foreman. Thus, I took a video and sent it to Shane. He then said they would offer a discount on labor if we brought it back to them. We had Best One Tire do it since they already had it and we lost so much time already.

They fixed my truck but I thought it would be just warranty work from work diagnosed and about $10k done at Rush in Indy. So after another around $4600. spent on all new injectors (isn't that always the diagnosis?) etc., I waited for over a half hour (with a room full of others waiting) to just get an invoice. Then they made the invoice to the company I bought the truck from in Ill. I was worried about deduction for it on taxes and I have been run around the mill to just simply get the bill made to my company with no success at all. Think my next step will be Better Business Bur. Fed up. Mgt. sucks here.

Do not get service done here unless you absolutely have to, such as DEF repairs. I had to get a DEF sensor bypass performed on my International Prostar, Cummins ISX and figured I would get an oil change while the truck was already in the shop. It was overpriced, but convenient. They pushed the completion date back 2 days, so I missed a day of operations. Then they forgot to put the cap back on after changing the oil. This place does not seem to care about doing good work or providing decent customer service. They know customers HAVE to go to them for DEF repairs and they take full advantage of it.

Our company needed to upgrade our box truck and Eric in sales was extremely knowledgeable, prompt, and friendly. I told him what we use the truck for and he pointed us in the right direction and got us taken care of. When I took the old truck in to trade and pick up the new truck, he had me in and out in around 30 minutes if that. Very satisfied with the new truck and grateful for Eric's help with the process! Highly recommend

I would not recommend anyone to this place. The location took a long time to diagnose my truck then after they did diagnose it they said I needed a new DPF filter and new Turbo. They were going to charge me close to $20k. I declined, then next week I came to pick my truck and my intake plenum was not bolted down and the elbow connecting to the turbo was not back installed causing my truck to have no power when I came to get it. Took my truck to a different shop and they did a deep clean on my DPF filter and my Turbo had a oil line leak. They charged me less than $1k to fix my truck.

2 weeks to replace a fuel pump! Towed in on Wednesday, was told it would be pulled in on Thursday. On Friday was informed the estimate wouldn t be finished until Monday. No answer and no return call after multiple messages left on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. On Thursday was told we forgot to send the estimate! Told it would be in on Friday and ready Monday. On Monday was told not even pulled in yet. No answer or return call Tuesday. Finally got an email that it was finished on Thursday. Took 7 hours to get the billing right because the forgot to put the fuel pump on the warranty claim. If your an independent owner, go somewhere else. Only the huge corporate accounts matter to rush these days!

The experience I had with this service center is summed up as incompetent, untrustworthy, unreliable and nefarious. I dropped my truck off to them with instructions to perform a basic PM service and troubleshoot a gear selector issue. I drove the truck there 40 miles on the interstate. It had an amber triangle lit up on the dash, indicating a low priority service was needed. When I went to pick the truck up, after they called to say it was finished about a week later, there were 7+ lights on the dash and an audible warning buzzer in the cab while just sitting at idle. They had no idea what was going on with the truck. They promised the world to me they'd make it right. 10 days later I call to ask for an update and they tell me "Sorry, someone forgot to make a work order for it so no one has even looked at your truck yet." Later, after more down time, I get a quote for over $8,000 in needed repairs. All for a truck I drove in under it's own power, exhibiting zero serious issues. This facility is operating on a bait and switch tactic. I had my truck towed to another facility who corrected all the issues in 2 days for less than $2,000. DO NOT TRUST THIS PLACE unless you've got time and money to waste.

Dropped off truck on Friday afternoon, they didn t even run a diagnostic on it until Monday afternoon! Estimate was done at 1:30pm.This was warranty work and they were told on 3 separate occasions that it was. Asked them on Monday night when I finally got a hold of someone if the paperwork was submitted to warranty company and they said no it will be tomorrow. The estimate was done at 1:30, why would it take them until the next day to submit paperwork needed for approval??So next day called and spoke to mike, he assured me he would take care of it. Called warranty company at 3:45 on Tuesday afternoon and they still had yet to receive.. come to find out rush sent the estimate to the CEO of the warranty company instead of to the claims department! So I give them the correct email to send to and they sent an email with no attachments! I called and called, kept getting voicemail. So I drove 45 minutes to the shop at 7:30pm. The tech Kenny sent the estimate to warranty company while I was standing there, but they still need other paperwork in order to complete the claim for approval. I have to wait until the day shift comes in for that!So I have been losing approx 750-800 per day of revenue because of incompetent employees!I will not take my truck to this location again!

Man! Looks are really deceitful sometimes. I dropped my truck off at 1pm 2/12/19 with a brake and ABS light on. I was told I d get a call as soon as they had a diagnostic done and that I should go ahead and get a hotel for the night. I made the manager aware that the truck was under warranty, and they told me they d have it done right away. I called them at 7AM on 2/13/19 and to my dismay, they d yet to run a diagnostic on my truck. It had sat there for 11hours with no tests being done. Fine, it got missed, the lady on the phone ensured me she was sorry and they d get right on it. I call back at 4:30PM, and get a voicemail 3 times in a row. Finally at 6:36PM a guy in the service department tells me it should be done tomorrow. You know what the problem is? A sensor. Such a simple fix that they are trying to drag out over 48 hours to charge isubu for under warranty. They ve been the worst communicating company I ve ever worked with, and at this point I m slated to pick my truck up at 8AM in the morning with no repairs done. I ve lost 2 days of work for this, thanks Rush!!

As we all know, finding a good mechanic is becoming nearly impossible. I really can't speak for the abilities of their service department, as they didn't fix anything in the 3 days they kept my truck. We were told the truck would be looked at 'that day' each and every day it sat there, and each and every day it stayed in the same place, until the day I arranged to have it towed to another shop.Within 15 minutes of informing Rush to not service the truck, they had a service technician call me to tell me the truck was done and being test driven. They apparently found a breaker tripped. So, not only did they NOT work on my truck when I asked them to, they DID work on it after I expressly told them to leave it alone, displaying a complete inability to follow simple requests from the customer. They also were unable to diagnose what caused the failure in the first place, showing they lack the comprehensive understanding required to service my equipment, although I'm sure they are great at swapping out parts until they get to the one that's broken. All in all, I discovered two important things about Rush Truck Center. One: there are many shops less than 3 miles away that will service you quickly and professionally. Two: they think charging me $250.00 to flip a breaker after costing me 3 days of layover pay for a driver, 3 days of hotel rooms, and 3 days of lost income on the truck and trailer is, in the words of their technician, 'giving you a good rate for being so patient'Oh, the 2 star rating, well having been to service centers across the country, it seems this is just par for the course anymore. They build trucks that break down often due to the systems needed to meet the regulations, shops are unable to keep up with the demand of customers needing service, and therefore can do pretty much anything they want, as they know I can't fix it from almost 700 miles away. They got an extra star for being just as bad as every other International shop out there.

*NEGATIVE STARS* Held truck for 28 days, wired half the estimate amount 12 days prior until they even started working on it. As far as I am concerned they are extortionist and thieves holding your livelihoods hostage without any resolution in sight. Major city in America, I've had better service in the middle of the desert in Sparks, Nevada. $8800+ later, 28 days held hostage, truck breaks down 2 hours south in Lexington, KY and Rush Truck Center has nothing to say, nobody can be reached, they will never admit blame or fault. They'll respond with a comment saying to call them... but nobody will answer, especially the service center. The workers don't care they just milk the clock collect a paycheck this is all set up like a union they collect their paychecks and International is an inferior product and they know it. Steer clear of these crooks***

I ordered parts after 3 weeks of waiting went to pick up parts and I believe her name was shelby told me my parts had been there 3 weeks and continued with an attitude that they send parts back after 7 days I called every other day asking if my parts was in and was always told no. She finally locates my parts and informed me 3 parts still haven't shown up yet but she give me the 3rd degree that I left parts there when technically all the parts haven't shown up. After my experience I will find somewhere else to get my parts explained to her why they were sitting there so long never one apology for her attitude or explanation of why all my parts didn't show up or why I was given the runaround for so long. Definitely not good customer service.

This places sucks a big one! I literally spent 3 hours there having a secondary air line put on. My company doesn't want me to touch the truck but if I could have I could have changed my own line in 15 minutes or less with tools in hand. They charged the leasing company $160 for that air line.Good thing I get paid by the hour!

We took our truck in and was told we would be called with an estimate before services performed. This was not the case. We called back multiple times to get an idea of how much it would cost. They would not offer an estimate. We could not get a straight answer. Dropped on Monday, picked up on Friday. Took them five days to fix a low coolant sensor. Called multiple times in between to obtain information on what it would cost...still could not get a straight answer. Very little or no communication. Extremely poor customer service. All in all slow and very expensive. Will not be returning.

Arrived at 9:00am to get a seat belt installed in my 05 International. Long story short i had to bring them out on multiple occasions to repair it correctly and was not able to leave until 3:00pm. Lost basically a whole day worth of work waiting to have a seat belt installed. Would not recommend this place.

This place should be sued for false advertising, There is nothing or no one in that place that Rush's on anything. Had our truck for over 5 weeks. Everytime we called and asked we were given the run around. Ordered a bunch of parts express overnight but never worked on the truck the next day. Just kept "padding" the bill. Absolutely the slowest service department, no communication at all!!! The bill took over 5 hours to get ready for us. When we went to pick our truck up, it wouldn't start. Had towait 20 minutes for a tech to come out. Wouldn't let these JO's work on a soap box derby car. DO NOT use them unless you have plenty of time money and an extra vehicle.
