RJR Radiator saved the day!I had a new radiator installed recently by my home shop, and on our first trip out of town it started leaking antifreeze and the engine was running hot. I was able to limp to the downtown Cincinnati area where we had arrangements to stay for 2 nights. We searched google for radiator repair shops and after reading reviews we settled on RJR.We called RJR first thing the next morning to make sure they could get us in the same day, then arranged for AAA to tow our vehicle there.After the tow, our SUV was in RJR s hands around 10AM.Jeff and Joe took great care of our vehicle. They communicated throughout the day regarding the status. We lucked out and the (new) radiator was fine, but the hoses were not hooked up properly, and one hose needed replaced. After they made the proper connections they pressurized the radiator and discovered the water pump was failing. They were able to locate a new water pump and repressurized the system by about 4PM. We picked it up around 5PM and the rest of our trip continued on as planned with no other car trouble!Jeff and Joe went over everything that they did to our SUV and had some photographs of the problems they found.We are very grateful of the quality of the work and their willingness to complete such a high quality repair in a timely manner!These guys are great! I would absolutely recommend them to anyone!

These guys are great!!! Very friendly, professional, and affordable. I had a radiator replaced on a Chrysler 300C and it needed the support bracket replaced also, to help keep my cost down they went to the salvage and found a suitable replacement. Installed everything and even replaced bolts on other things they noticed were missing. They did all this in the timeframe they said it would be done. I picked the car up, the next day after driving home, noticed it was leaking fluid and squealing. I called them shortly before closing time and they said if I could get the car back to the shop they would look at it and figure it out. I am here from out of state and was starting to stress out about how I would get it back to the shop because I didn t really have the money to tow it. They called me back and told me that Jeff was on his way, he figured it was probably the water pump so he drove my car back (and let me drive his car to follow him) because I was stressing about the steering feeling weird it s the water pump. It s less than 30 minutes before closing but they are staying to fix it for me because they knew I was trying to leave in a couple days to go home for the holiday. These guys go above and beyond and I would definitely recommend anyone and everyone to go here for all your radiator/coolant system needs!!!! Or if you need a good used car, they have very nice used cars that they make sure are mechanically sound and they are reasonably priced as well!!! They definitely were my savior this day ..

Recently had a road emergency and Jeff went out of his way to help. He was extremely polite and knowledgeable.I will absolutely be bringing my car to RJE Radiator, Inc. in the future for any radiator repairs.So thankful that there are still kind and compassionate people in this world. I recently purchased a car from Jeff and want to make it clear how impressed I was with the transaction and Jeff's honesty and customer service. I scheduled a pre-purchase inspection of the vehicle in Fairfield, Jeff drove the car to and from the mechanic and sent me pics of the findings. Then Jeff FIXED the items, including a serpentine belt replacement, rear shocks, light bulbs and other items. He did that all in the same day of the inspection and let me knw when they were completed. Throughout the process Jeff was consistently open and detailed in his explanations. He answered all my questions and responded quickly. I cannot recommend Jeff and RJR highly enough.

I m a hospice nurse & depend on my Jeep to get me to my patients all over SW Ohio. I d been having cooling issues & another mechanic had serviced the vehicle twice, taking a week each time, costing me a rental, & still not resolving the problem. I emailed Jeff & he was prompt in his response & clear on what he would do, how long it should take, & what it would cost. Jeff & crew (Joe-Joe?) had me in & out in a single day, problems fixed. I never missed a night of work & was able to get back on the road to care for my patients. A+

If you are looking for quality radiator work, look no further than RJR!We are turning our old 1984 Jeep Wagoneer into a vehicle we would be comfortable driving long distances in. My mechanic recommended RJR, to tackle the overheating issue. The fellas at RJR took great care of our car. They promptly (and correctly) fixed the issues. If you are looking for true professionals give them a call you will not be disappointed!

I call and in the morning looking to repair two radiators and thy told me they can be fix in 2 or 3 days ,when I call others places they told me 2 weeks !!!!! So I come over and they look at the radiators only 1 was fixable the other was the most important one for me the said can t be fix but can get another one on the same day I said no way !!!!! But they did get me another one and fix the other all on day still can t believe but they rocks thank you so much Jeff and joe I m going to refer you with all my tree service companies friends .

Jeff found me a new radiator for my 31 year old Honda race car - it was fast and fairly priced. He had it waiting for me the next day, and even went the extra mile (literally!) when he discovered that I had inadvertently picked up the wrong radiator from the shop floor. He ran the correct one out to me and swapped them. A+ for quick customer service. I'd rather spend my money with a local shop that cares than a big national chain.

RJR professionally recored the radiator on my classic car. When I brought the car in, they explained the various options available and showed me examples and pictures. They got the job done in a very reasonable amount of time and at an appropriate price. Very courteous and very professional. I would definitely use their services again if the opportunity presented itself.

Many thanks to Jeff at RJR Radiator for fixing the AC on my car. After describing the symptoms, Jeff and Ray did some research and found that I did not need a whole new compressor. I just needed a part in my old compressor. Saved me HUNDREDS of $$. Had it back that day and it's as good as new and COLD!Highly recommend Jeff at RJR Radiator if you need AC work on your car. Jeff is the BEST!

Outstanding experience! Very professional business... Their sterling reputation exists because they do business the right way. I took my 1978 Mercedes Benz 450SL to them and explained I had done my homework and sought the advice of numerous people before I decided who I would hire to put a new core in my radiator.. I'm ultra picky about my car and it's been 100% restored.. so I won't take any chances on who I allow under the hood. Jeff met me in the parking lot literally as I got out of the car and immediately diagnosed another problem with my auxiliary fan not working when the AC was on.... Long story short, they fixed the fan, put a new core in the car and it now runs cooler than it did they day it was driven off the lot new 40 years ago.. The core they installed has 20% more cooling capacity than the original one. They kept my car inside the shop the entire 4 days they had it... finished the work a day before they estimated they would... just honestly could not be more happy with these guys! I now get to drive my all time favorite car every nice weekend without keeping one eye on the temp gauge! Long over due review...sorry for the delay! FIVE STARS ALL THE WAY!!!!!!!

Called to get a quote on a new radiator. Explained to him everything I have replaced and that there's a crack in radiator. He was very rude and unprofessional. He hung up on me when I asked why he was being rude. Do not recommend this place at all.Edited to add: I never got angry. I was simply trying to tell him everything I already fixed. I've called numerous places about this and he was the first one to blatantly not care about anything I said related to the car.

RJR re-cored the radiator on our Classic Thunderbird. They also did a total brake replacement. They spent time with us explaining the alternatives. After checking with other Thunderbird owners, we chose to restore the existing radiator, to preserve the integrity of the car. The radiator looks brand new, and the brakes performed beautifully on the drive home. The car didn't veer or drift when braking.Thanks also for the care you showed the car while it was in the shop!Thanks again.

They got my new radiator for me at a fair price within a few hours. But they wanted to charge me $325 to install it. Only took me an hour to do it myself. Do yourself a favor and look under your hood before pay them to do anything you could possibly do yourself.

Jeff does excellent work and takes care of his customers. Not only are they a great place to get your radiator fixed, but they can also install Jasper engines, transmissions, and differentials. Dave

RJR has been very prompt and helpful with replacing and maintaining the radiator in my wife's van, even bumping us up on the priority list so that we could start our vacation on time. They also repaired the air conditioning and educated me on the workings of it, to prevent similar problems in the future. Definitely my go to repair shop, even for my personal car...!

Wow is all I can say. I have an old car and these guys took great care. They took care of the cooling problem and they also took care of my vehicle. They were able to salvage my old radiator and recore it for half the cost of replacement. These guys are enthusiasts. They can take care of vintage cars as well as newer vehicles, RV's, commercial and highway equipment. Looking at the work they did for me and all the different vehicles in the garage, an ambulance, a fork lift and my car they can handle just about anything. Bottom line, I appreciate the integrity and attention to detail. Thanks RJR!

I dropped my radiator off to have it leaked checked. Bad news, it had many leaks. They quoted my $650 to recore it. A new one is $350. Ran into a friend with the same model car, and had his done at RJR for $400.I took it up to a Dayton shop and they recored it for $350 - looked the part number up in a book and quoted me over the phone.I think because I drive a used Lexus, they thought I was an idiot. They did get $50 out of me for the boil and test, but I will never go back. They have lots of nice letters on the walls and online - no idea why they thought they could scam me.I am glad I know better. If you go, get a second price elsewhere or you could pay almost double.

Nice guys, but $280 for a red coat on a tank, a bit much. And the guy messed up the paint job on the outside of the tank while trying to get the inside to dry. If I ever have to have that done again, I'll go elsewhere.
