Good place for transmission repairs. Not the first vehicle repaired there, and no issues with the other previous repairs. Fair prices and not a clip joint.

4.5 stars out of 5. Very small shop hidden that does GREAT work. Their work was top-notch when I had to replace the entire transmission in my car. However, their prices rival local dealers which was hard to accept. That s my only complaint. I have to reiterate that they are fast and high quality. A rare combination.

Tim and the guys at Ridge did a fantastic job on my wife's Lexus. We had spoken with several other shops who were a lot of promises but nothing in terms of follow-through and then put our faith in Tim and his guys and so glad we did. Really good guys with fair prices! They got my transmission done quick and it works perfectly. When 3 different people suggested I go there, I knew I had to use them. I will be referring and using Ridge Transmissions in the future!

I write this after a few months to make sure I was certain. This might be long. I had a shudder, beginning in the peddle, and getting worse.Took it there, and was told, "Big coin. New transmission. "$5000"" I took it home, pondering if I should bite the bullet. A friend said, "Get a second opinion." He suggested Aamco on Reading Rd. (I later learned from Google)On Monday, Aamco said, "Call you in a few hours." No call back, 100% unconcerned. Called Tuesday. "Call you in a few hours." No call Back. Called Wednesday. "Call you in a few hours." No call back. Called Thursday to come get the van. He said, "$6200. New transmission." I knew well from experience that that kind of introduction means a 1 week job will be 13 weeks. So I came and picked up the van. Wasn't buying from them.Another friend recommended Jerry's Transmission in Milford. A rubber collar (forgot the name) that is like a U Joint I suppose on the drive shaft (they brought it out to me) was shredded. I was out the door for $1700, with friendly, efficient service. I thought, "How is this possible? Did someone miss something?"But it's 2 months now, and the vehicle drives normal.Service: Transmission

I just picked up my Ford Crown Victoria from Ridge Transmission(First week of May 2022).The car shifts like new again !I am so very pleased with the work they performed. It is very satisfying to be on the road again.Great place to have your transmission repaired !Would do business with them again.I contacted Ridge Transmission about a 2008 Chrysler T&C minivan.The staff member I spoke to was very helpful, and answered all of my questions.I was very impressed, and pleased by their help !!Service: Transmission

My wife's 2016 Subaru Forester developed a stuttering issue when accelerating from a stop. During the third occurrence nearly every transmission related warning light on the dash was lit. Thinking that we would be looking at a $7,000.00 to $8,000.00 transmission replacement, we had it towed to Ridge Transmission to have it checked out.Tim and his technicians performed a diagnosis and determined that the solenoid packs were at fault and recommended a replacement costing significantly less (a little over $1700.00). The repairs were completed in 2 days!The transmission performs better now than it did when we bought it used a bit over a year ago. They did fantastic work and more importantly they were honest with what needed to be done. They COULD have sold us a new transmission, but they only sold us what was necessary to get us back on the road quickly.Just a quick note - Ridge Transmission is a busy place. Tim can be pretty quick when conversing on the phone, but don't mistake his candor for anything other than someone being extremely efficient at his job. Tim and the rest of the Ridge Transmission crew are true, honest, and trustworthy professionals.Do NOT hesitate to take your vehicle here for transmission and axle related repairs. They only fix what's needed to be fixed. I brought my vehicle in with what I thought was a slipping trans. Turns out it was some rod. Way cheaper than rebuilding the trans. Definitely worth giving them your business.

The transmission went out in our minivan. We decided to get a new transmission put in. Parts like this have been taking longer to get in. We were told it would take about 3 weeks+ to get the car fixed. Tim and the crew at Ridge transmissions called me seven business days after we dropped off the van to say the project had been completed. I am very grateful and impressed that they were able to get our car fixed so quickly. They called other local dealerships and we re able to find a transmission that reduced our wait time from three weeks plus a little over one week. Thank you!Service: Transmission

I had an amazing experience with Ridge Transmission. After being told I needed a new transmission by the dealer I wanted to get a second opinion. They checked all aspects of my transmission to ensure the correct issue was diagnosed. It turned out that my vehicle only needed a transmission reset. They were excellent. I called and explained my issue on my 03 f250. I was given a fair range estimate over the phone. I made an appointment and I dropped the truck off. I was called later that day with an exact estimate, I approved it, and was given an eta on the completion. They called within that time notifying me the truck was done and I picked up the next day. The bill was exactly the estimate and I never had another issue with the transmission. Wow you just don t find Excellent service like that Anymore. Thank you everyone at ridge transmission! I was blown away by the professional of this shop, honestly so refreshing.

They got me in within a week and finished in 2 days. The issue i was experiencing has gone away, so I assume it was fixed correctly. Actual cost was lower than the estimate. Guy I dealt with was nice and professional.

Honest transmission shop. They do the work right the first time. If you are looking for a great transmission shop look no further. No matter what your transmission or drive train issue this would be my first stop. Thanks Tim and the crew for taking care of our 4wd transfer case motor replacement.

This young girl came to the shop wanting us to inspect the vehicle for a client of ours to purchase. The vehicle has been severely damaged, lack of maintenance and very rough condition. The vehicle has a defective transmission and we advised the customer NOT to purchase it. This did not make the girl (Clarity) happy and so she decided to bad mouth us.She should be ashamed of herself in this regard. Not our fault she is trying to scam our customer.

I went to Ridge transmissions thinking that I had a transmission issue on my trailblazer after talking at length to Tim And explaining what was going on with his awesome knowledge and experience actually determined that what I thought was a transmission issue was the complete opposite so I managed to call my regular mechanic Who recommended ridge transmission to get the issue sorted thanks Tim for helping me get this issue under wraps

Best shop. Super honest I thought my transmission blew but it was a sensor they were reasonable with the price. Could of charged me for new transmission but I can say honestly such honest guys.

The best transmissions specialists in Cincinnati. They fixed my fried transmission promptly and very reasonably and competitively priced. These guys are transmission specialists and only do transmission work. They know what they are doing

Literally the BEST transmission shop in the tri-state area. You can either pay a little now and have your trans serviced for maintenance, or pay A LOT later when it fails. Either way, Ridge Transmission is the place to take your car or truck.

Life savers... after being misdiagnosed at another shop brought in my vehicle thinking I was in need of a full trans rebuild.... after a couple adjustments I was on my way without any major cost.Thank you all at Ridge Transmissions!
