Went in to get a slow leak in tire fixed...turns out that the hole was on the edge of tire, not a place you want to plug. But they had a nice tire as good a tread as the other 3 on vehicle which was over half tread left. So used 18" tire, checked to make sure no leaks before and after he put on rim, installed on my suv, put air in all 4 tires to match up, disposed of old tire, all for $50 bucks, including tax and all fees. They were busy but quick and i was in and out. Very pleasant and helpful person did an excellent job.

I was there today 3-1-24 with my wife and daughter and we got 4 used tires. Service with a smile is all I can say. I would recommend this business to anyone. Thank you from super Sara's dad

This business has to be one of my favorite ever! At first I didn't like them too much because when I got there they were closed and it was really cold outside. But I went back again because the lady on the phone was really nice. She helped me figure out how to find the number on my tire which I had no idea. And she didn't make me feel stupid for her having to tell me. I learned something new when I went yesterday, there was no one in the building but it only took a couple minutes for them to come from across the street at the Used Car place (Sorry don't know the name) the young lady, Bry, in the office, told me that I could wait in my car while they changed the tire. The nice and polite young man removed my old tire, fixed my bad valve, repaired the rim, which was bent and put used tire on the car... Then, Bry, from the office, came outside, in the cold freezing rain with my invoice and receipt so I didn't have to get out. Bless her heart. Total $84. I would recommend them to anyone! The tire itself was only $40. Old tire disposal $4.

Usually good but today I had to sit outside with my children and the employee waiting for the owner to open the doors at 9am. He finally showed up at 9:15 but then left. I had a spare tire on and just needed the new tire put on.The employee was able to put the new tire on but was not able to tell me how much or accept my pay.So I had to wait for him to get in touch with the owner so I can finally pay and leave I set for a total of 43 mins for a 5 min job not good service anymore at all, so unprofessional .

so I've been going here for about 4 or maybe 5 years, a long time and I dont have anything bad to say about the owner or his wife who so nice and helpful or his employees. they've never tried to take advantage of me in anyway shape or form. I recently moved about 35 minutes away from their location and I still go back there in fact I was just there today Saturday 8/3 To have a tire pluged and it was business as usual and it cost $12.. Keep up the good work motor city tire, I'll be a customer for life.

I'll never never never purchase from them again I purchase the tire I went to an appointment or an hour later the tire was completely flat. My husband ended up coming to blow the tire up, we were about 10 minutes away from MotorCity when we got back there the air was still coming out the tire. The owner laughed at my husband when he told him we needed something reimbursed, the owner stated that's what warranties are for and if they tire was bad it would have been flat when I left there. I was literally gone an hour before the tire went completely flat. My husband told me to stop going there a long time ago, it took this for me to never go again and make sure others know how they treat customers and the merchandise they're selling.

Cheap tires and very fast tire changes. Very affordable and friendly employees. Perfect if u don't have much money to spend but need tires asap. No appointment necessary, just pull up and someone comes out to meet you.

I would give zero stars if I could. I should've trusted my instincts when I pulled up and saw how raggedy and filthy this place was. DO NOT come here. I bought 4 used tires, and I was already frustrated for how long it took them to put them on. I was there for 2 1/2 hours. Ridiculous. On top of that they gave me tires that were 10+ years old with slashes and rips in them. How do I know this? Because I took it to a shop after constantly losing air DAILY!!! and they showed me. I spent almost $150 on some old terrible hazardous tires. Thank God for Mt Healthy auto repair on Compton. They honest and very reasonable. Save yourself a headache and stay far away from this place. So furious right now!!!

This is a 5 star business. During the time I needed them, they only had 1 employee plus the owner who worked hard, and I still got out in a timely manner. They're very professional and always have the tires I need in stock. I highly recommend this company.

Got a tire from these guys for my boyfriend's car. After 25 min of searching they finally find a matching set and try to pressure is to buy both. We said just the one well prolly come back next week on payday and grab the other. The guy struggled twice to get the tire back on the brad and once he finally got it threw it in the car. Within two days of having the tire it went flat. My boyfriend works from 8-7 everyday and we have been rehabbing our house on the weekend. Were pushing our "30 day limited warranty" time that they supposedly have and I have been trying to reach them via phone. I have left a voicemail and no one is returning the call. My boyfriend is a long time customer of theirs and we currently need two more tires from them but they won't be getting our service any longer. DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY

Their lot may be small but don't let that fool you, these guys are quick, you can usually sit in your car and wait, they are friendly, knowledgeable and best of all they have saved me money many times by finding and repairing the problem rather than suggesting a whole new tire. Thanks guys!

Took my car to get my driver front tire replaced. Find out a few weeks later that the tire they put on was not only the wrong size for my car but that it cant even hold the weight of my car. $40+ bucks to risk my life. These people either dont know what they're doing or they dont care and just want your money. I am livid. You dont risk someone's life like that.

Its a used tire shop, although they do sell new tires also. The owners and employees, have always been fair with me. Its not a "nice" place to get work done( no waiting room or bathroom) , but for cheep tires with some life left, i reccomend.

Used to get good tires a couple years ago but now keep getting scrappy tires and the last time I know they stripped 5 wheel studs between 2 wheels

He took great care of my son's work that needed to be done for his tires and we're very reasonable on the price
