My windshield was cracked and needed replacing. Both my State Farm agent and my service advisor at Evan's Auto recommended Mel's. I chose to wait in their comfortable waiting area. The young lady at the window was courteous and accommodating. It was completed in a short time (about 1 hour). I am very happy with the work and would certainly recommend Mel's to others.

I'd give them 10 stars if I could. Called, they had my windshield in stock for my T660, had an appointment available for an hour after the call. Went over there, got a bay, went inside, used the restroom which was spotless. Sat down and started doing a word find and almost immediately, they told me I was done lol clean restroom, clean waiting area, great customer service....this is what it's all about. Whats not to like!! I will always recommend Mel's going forward!

What a delight! I walked in to ask about a chip in my windshield. Someone immediately came to view it, gave an estimate and explained the process of repair. Not even 40 minutes later, I drove away with a windshield that looks close to brand new! Great customer service, fast work but done well! I'm very pleased I stopped in!

Mel's was fantastic. I stopped by without an appointment to make sure my windshield was cracked before calling my insurance agent. A technician quickly came out and confirmed it was cracked. Working with one of the office staff, I quickly filed a claim and had an appointment two days later. Wonderful job!

Mel's was terrific. My windshield was cracked in two places from one little rock. Mel's got me in quickly and it only took them 1.5 hours to get the job done, including re-calibration. I have since driven in rain and everything is well-sealed. They were top-notch professional and efficient! I highly recommend!

Had a great experience with Mel s Auto Glass! Back window on my 2012 F-150 was leaking and the dealership wanted $2,100 to replace it. Tried Mel s and have no regrets. Scheduling was easy and the staff were friendly and smiles on everyone s faces. Window no longer leaks. Life is good! Highly recommend!

I travel from Dayton, Oh to have my 3rd row passenger window replaced after the window had been shattered. Both CSRs Alicia and Danielle were very professional and polite with great customer service. The technician removed my temporary covering without removing any of the paint. He completed the job by putting in a new window in a timely manner. I was impressed how the entire service call took. I m very pleased with the work and very appreciative of everyone at Mel s Auto Glass at 11775 Reading Rd. location.

Mel's Auto Glass did a great job on my windshield replacement and recalibrated all of the saftey sensors with no issues. I appreciated their giving me a loaner car so I could have the job done while I was at work.

Mel's had plenty of appointments to fit my schedule. The windshield replacement was not covered by insurance this time and they were half the price of the glass company with all the adds on TV. Nice waiting room with free snacks !

I've had 2 windshields replaced at Mel's and they have always done a great job. They have also been easy to work with as both times I requested OEM glass and they ordered Audi windshields for me and installed them. Would go back for any glass work needed.

I deal with Mel s all the time for my company s vehicles as well as personal and my clients and they are hands down the best in the Industry. Always very knowledgeable and helpful in any situation! Highly recommend to anyone in need of new glass or a simple repair!!

Would highly recommend for semi windshield replacements. They came out on a Saturday. To me in Dayton had windshield switched around in like 10 min. They charge a lot less than safelite. By like 1,000. They are priced extremely fair. And you can tell the employees like their jobs

I have recently worked with Mel's auto glass to repalce the windshield on my Audi Q7. They were very professional and their work was great. They were very accurate with their schedule and performed the work on-time without any delays. I would definetely recommned them for any Auto Glass work.

Mel's Glass did a great job replacing my front windshield the day after it shattered by a loose rock on the highway. The Office staff was so friendly and very helpful. Great job to all!!

My brother has been driving with a cracked windshield for a very long time. I decided to buy him a windshield for his birthday. I have done business with Mel's before and I am very familiar with the quality of people they are and the quality of work they do. Chris Stone was my primary contact this time and she is a customer service goddess! I am grateful for the Six Star customer service. Dayzia was my contact at the point of purchase and she also rendered Six Star customer service. My brother was tickled to be getting a new windshield until I traumatized him with the fact that he"ll consciously or unconsciously think of me everytime he looks through it. Hey, I paid for the windshield. He can pay for his therapy!

Mel s Auto Glass was so quick to get me scheduled before the holidays, kept me up to speed on what they were doing and how long the replacement would take and got me out of there so fast. Staff was knowledgeable and professional and I would highly recommend!

THIS IS MY TESTIMONY ON HOW NOT TO GET SCAMMED FROM MELS AUTO GLASS.I called to have my center, manual sliding window replaced on my 2013 Toyota Tundra.After talking with a rep the price was told the charge would be 500 dollars, and they would need to replace both back passenger and driver side windows sections to be able to replace the center back cab window. ( WHICH IS A COMPLETE LIE MADE ON THE BEHALF OF THEIR REP WHO GOT THE QUOTE FROM THE SHOP GUY)I looked into myself, and found a replacement for 71 dollars from brad s auto glass website with a how to do it yourself video. shipped same day, and arrived in two days. The video they provided is exactly as how I replaced it myself. Took 20 mins. Works great saved 400 dollars.Don t get over priced by people who claim to be professional who clearly don t know how price, or do their job. It s Taken me longer to write this, then actually doing the work.If you re going to run business maybe, you should try having some integrity. ClownUPDATE: receptionist called to ask is if I wanted to reschedule a repair for the same quoted price of $500, and that it wasn't possible to replace just the center piece without removing the two side windows. even tho it s clear from the pictures that it is possible, and can be done at a much lower cost then what originally discussed.My advice don t rush to have a cracked window replaced and agree to anything someone tells you without finding a solution for yourself first. It s obvious to me MEL S is ran by the incompetent. With less then a high school diploma under their belt, and will say, and do anything to get as much money as they can from their costumers.

Give 'em an inch and they'll take a mile. These guys asked if they could use a garage bay to install a windshield, due to the rain. Not only did they take the bay that I cleared out for them, then they pulled a van into the middle of the shop, blocking 3 other bays, but also blocked the entry / exit of the shop with another van! Never again! And to make matters worse, not only did they leave the vehicle they were working on inside, for someone else to put it back wherever they got it from, BUT THEY PUT THE KEYS TO IT IN A COMPLETELY DIFFERENT PART OF THE DEALERSHIP WITHOUT TELLING ANYONE! NOW WE HAD TO PLAY HIDE AND SEEK FOR THE KEYS! I couldn't be so disrespectful and dumb if I tried. Unbelievable...

I caught a rock to the windshield and needed it replaced. My insurance agent connected me with Chris who helped me through the process. The replacement of the windshield and recalibration took about an hour and half. I couldn't be happier with the completed work. If I ever need window replaced again, I will definitely be returning to Mel's auto glass.

Shout out to Mel's auto glass for putting my window in after a car break in. This was the second vehicle they did. They even vacuumed the glass up. It was affordable and they was very professional. Highly recommend them!!

They were able to get my truck in the day after I called them. They handled all of the insurance paperwork and had the job finished in a few hours. Would definitely reccomend them.

Place is really fast The only complaint I had was that my appointment was at 2:00 and they didn't pull my car back around till 3:00 but they were done super fast so I can't complain. They were even nice enough to replace my oil change sticker for my old window. Lastly they were almost $100 cheaper than any of the other quotes I got so super affordable and quality glass.Service: Auto windshield replacement

This location definitely is not truthful to their customers. We went to Mel's because they were the only place that had a Saturday appointment. Customer service told us glass was ordered and we were set for our 8AM appointment on a Saturday. We came in for appointment and after 2 hrs of waiting were told by the shop the wrong glass came in and had to reschedule for Monday. We came back on Monday and had to drop off vehicle for appointment, I was contacted at 2pm and told yet again the glass was wrong. After calling Customer service I found out that the glass had never made it there and the shop was lying about the fit. Finally after 3 attempts to get a window installed, we were able to take our vehicle home with a new window. They did nothing extra. I have had other glass work done by the big name in town and have always wiped everything down and vacuumed up any broken glass.If you have a extra couple days to waste Mel's is your place. If you want professional service maybe look to the bigger name in town.

I got my passenger side window repaired. They vacuumed up the broken glass that was all over my car and took less than 40 minutes. Very happy with the service provided!

I set up an appointment with Mels Auto Glass! The receptionist was kind and very helpful! I waited while they installed the windshield on my LS460. It was ready in an hour and 20 minutes! The job was perfect as they always have done! I ve been dealing with Mels for about 37 years! If you want it done right the first time, go to Mels!! Anywhere else you might not get the job done by the Pros in the business!! Thanks again Mel!!!

Sweet and nice people from calling in for my semi truck glass to installation. Called in,sent in pictures,booked an appointment to replace my glass for 1530,showed up at 1205, and out in less than 30 minutes.Pretty sweet and nice.

Mels had a challenge find an ome windshield. Tried all dealers in area. Did find after market. Discussed options to make it work since I had a backup camera with image projected into rear view mirror. When I came in Eric Judd hadn't given up looking for original equipment and found and had it delivered prior to my appointment.Their work was excellent. I truly appreciate Eric tenacity in not giving up. Thank you Eric and Mel's auto glass.
