This shop IS NOT to be trusted at all! My girlfriend went to have her vehicle, an Infiniti, looked at and after the $175 diagnostic test they came back stating the issue was a bad starter. We expected to spend 5 or 6 hundred to have the starter replaced but Jerry told her it would cost a whopping $1374 lol. That sounded astronomical so we decided to call another shop close in proximity who had great reviews and guess how much this shop charged us.... only $337 and had it done the same day only two hours later. Shop around before you get any work done at Jim's Auto Clinic, it could save you a lot of money.

Good service. Even though they had to recommend me to the dealer. The wait time to check my car was about 2-3 weeks due to my extreme issue. so you might need a backup car.

I was swindled at this shop. Went in for an electrical issue but was pushed an entirely different maintenance package I never asked for. When I reluctantly agreed because Curt was so pushy, they messed up the maintenance that was done. I got the car back and the alignment was so out of whack that the tech s couldn t even figure out how to fix it when I kept bringing it back in. Eventually I took my car to an authorized dealership to diagnose the issue. The dealership found that Jim s shop left all the parts loose that were installed in my vehicle and that is was a miracle I hadn t gotten in an accident. Now I am out several thousand dollars AND my vehicle still rides worse than when I bought it. I wish I had never taken it to them in the first place.

Jim's Auto Clinic keeps my 24 year old Honda Accord running like a dream. In addition to addressing any problems she has, they take the extra time to inspect whether she has any potential problems.

Jim s was one of the only places I could find who had the capability to run diagnostics on my car when the airbag light came on. The dealer was booked 2 months out, but Jim s got me in within 24 hours. Thankfully, it wasn t the airbag, but they figured out the problem and got the work done as soon as they got the part. Curt was very friendly, kept me well-informed the whole time, and did an excellent job. Highly recommend!Service: General repairs & maintenance

Guys were absolutely great. Kirk is amazing and so is Jesse. They checked two used cars for me and let me know what was really going on under the hood before i purchased them. To top it off, they did it all free of charge!! Allowed me to find a really good vehicle with very minimal issues to purchase! Got the dealership to agree to replace the issues and got a beautiful car to last me 8-10 years. I recommend these guys to everyone! Thank you very much Kirk!Service: Vehicle Inspection

Deleted a review done last month because of Mike. He really stepped up to the plate and after the horrible experience I had prior, May of found a place to take my car. Professional, kind and communication is 100% better than the fist go round. Still sticking with one star for that experience however, Mike has restored my faith that there are good people out there. Don't lose him. Thanks for caring.

I love Jim's. They are very thorough and give me a detailed print out of repairs suggested on my vehicle. They work in a timely manner and their prices are very reasonable. Excellent customer service.

I've been taking my Subaru here for years. It's the only auto repair business I've ever fully trusted. They will do a complete maintenance check of your car at every oil change and tell you exactly what you need and even better, what you don't need. They don't try to sell you anything and put no pressure on you at all. They give you the data and their recommendations and let you decide what to do. They've saved me a lot of money over the years because they'll be upfront about whether something needs to be replaced based on its actual condition and not just based on year of vehicle or manufacturer guidelines. I highly recommend Jim's Auto Clinic.

Our car was in desperate need for some suspension work as it was becoming more unnerving and potentially unsafe to drive. I'd known about the issues for awhile and wanted to get the work done before the weather began to change.I drove to 4 different shops in the Colerain area to get estimates to better understand the cost of work. The last place I went to was Jim's Auto Clinic.I chose Jim's Auto Clinic because I'd met Mark personally back in July 2020, and I've also had many interactions with Janet since then. These meetings were not related to my car repairs but for something else. Even so, I got to learn much more about the kind of service the team provides their customers and held them in high regard.Moreover, when I asked for the estimate for the work, not only was it well within those I'd obtained elsewhere, but also they were going to accommodate me with a loaner car to use while mine was being repaired.When I returned to pick up the car, the late-afternoon staff was very helpful in making sure I understood the warranties. They also provided me with a new customer gift card toward future work!Our car feels much more sturdy and durable now that the suspension work has been done, and I and my family have a much greater peace of mind when we use it!UPDATE, 10/23/2020:I have never been to an auto repair place that communicates as effectively with car owners as Mark and the team at Jim's Auto Clinic does! We have gone to Jim's Auto Clinic for over 10 years. Every visit we have had, whether a simple oil change, or as complicated a blown head gasket, they have treated us well and done excellent work! They are happy to explain your issues fully, even to someone who is not into cars. I've never felt talked down to, or left wondering if I'd gotten my money's worth. Everyone is very friendly, and always ready to help.

Jim s Auto Clinic is the best! Not only will they provide a loaner car so you aren t inconvenienced, they will look over your car and not charge you at all. I have gone here several times and they always provide excellent service and work. If they can t fix it they will refer you to someone who can. Highly satisfied every time I go there. Will continue to go back with any issues. This business knows how to treat their customers and I appreciate their honesty and business ethic. Brian was great! Took the time to explain and answer all my dumb questions and didn't charge me fir diagnosis. Friendly too. People like him are what make small businesses successful. U have a real asset in this guy. Wonderful experience..highly recommend

We have been coming to Jim s Auto Clinic for about 1 year now after being fed up with the poor service and quality of repairs at one of the local Honda dealerships. Having known about Jim s Auto for many decades, it was worth trying to see if they would be able to take care of us and our Honda Odyssey.They have done a great job every time and we feel more confident in the repairs that are done on our vehicle. The prices are reasonable and the transparency of what is truly critical is there. I would highly recommend choosing Jim s Auto Clinic for servicing your vehicle!

We've been taking our cars here for the past 4 years and we've had so many positive experiences. I especially appreciate this as a woman. I've been to other mechanics who wouldn't take me seriously or would try to rip me off. But at Jim's they never try to convince me to make unnecessary repairs, they explain the work they've done and give reasonable suggestions of when future repairs might be needed, and they never overcharge. The whole team at Jim's is awesome. We recommend them to all our friends. Once they fixed something and then we realized that it wasn't the cause for the problem so they gave us a full refund! Just incredible! Who does that?

Had to take my car in for some work during this COVID-19 life interruption. Glad to see this small business was able to keep working in spite of it all. I trust their service more than I ever did the Nissan dealer. I feel they are honest with their recommendations and a better value. They also had a seamless system worked out that my drop off, pick up, and payment could be done with interacting with any employee, safeguarding them and myself. Hopefully that will be different the next time I need service as I did find the staff there to be very personable and missed that interaction.

In for routine oil change Jim's Auto clinic always a great job performing maintenance and routine diagnostic checks. They have always been Fair on their work. I recommend Jim's Auto clinic

They did an amazing job diagnosing my car shaking when accelerating. They rebalance and aligned my vehicle for little charge and were very honest about the other options I had. They told me there were 3 possible better fixes that would cost and $800 but didn t seem that my car needed it. My one complaint is that they did not let me know within the hour my car was ready, which costs me missed time at work. However 5/5 stars for customer service, honesty, and workmanship.Services: Tires, Steering & suspension repair

My father-in-law recommended Jim s. I was having serious engine issues, and they took me in, provided a loaner car, and got the work done right (and in about 24 hours). Of course it wasn t cheap (nothing with a car ever is!). But they actually came in $50 below the estimate and offered me a coupon book that helped me save an extra $30-$40. Everyone was friendly and helpful. I will definitely be coming back here and will recommend them to anyone who needs car work done!

Unfortunately, the woman at the front desk had a bit of an attitude with myself and the other 4 people waiting to pay because the credit card machine was moving slower than usual.On a lighter note, my vehicle runs great (which is the most important factor).I appreciate the gentleman I spoke on the phone with the few times with updates with my vehicle (very professional, pleasant with a thorough explanation of parts, labor, cost, etc.) though.Services: Brake service & repair, Battery

In December 2016, I had a feeling that there were many problems with my 2006 van. Two of my good friends recommended that I take my van in to Jim s Auto Clinic because it was conveniently located to me and because my friends said that Jim s would be the best place with fair pricing to have them perform a thorough bumper to bumper check up on it. I was correct when Phil, the Service Writer called me to let me know that there were multiple problems with it, (to the tune of $7,000.00 all total) and he suggested that I get a new car!Since that time in 2016, I ve taken my SUV in for a few very minor things, such as checking that my tires were properly inflated, for some sound advice and to put my rear windshield wiper back on. Everyone at Jim s Auto Clinic has always been very helpful and courteous. Since 2016 they ve never charged me for any service that they ve done, which I was very surprised by, as most other places would ve charged me just to do the simplest thing! Last week was the first time that I had my oil changed by Jim s Auto Clinic, which is not only more convenient for me, but also much less expensive rather than going to the dealership where I purchased my SUV! A couple other things that I like about Jim s Auto Clinic are: 1)that their facility is always clean and tidy and it has always been this way (even before the pandemic); and 2)that they make donations to very worthy causes.Service: Oil change

I have been a loyal customer since I bought my Nissan back in October of 2006! This company has taken great care of me over the years! They never have tried to take advantage of me. I have complete confidence in this business. I highly recommend them to everyone! Their staff is wonderful, especially the lovely ladies who greet me when I come in the door!

Currently, we have 3 vehicles serviced at Jim's. We have been customers for almost 20 years. HONESTY is the main reason. It is more of a partnership than a customers/vendor relationship. Janet and Sherry are organized and always polite and friendly. Phil gives us the straight scoop on any issues. Providing a loaner car when available is another driving factor. They help make performing maintenance on our cars as convenient and as least painful as it can be. Keep up the great work!!!

Let me start by saying Jim's Auto Clinic is the best auto repair shop in all of Cincinnati. I recently took my car to Jim's with a problem that another local shop couldn't find or fix. I took the car to this other shop twice and was told the problem was fixed. I'm not saying this other shop did anything wrong. They did do the work that they quoted me, but the problem was still there, and it just seemed like they wanted me not to come back? So wanting a second opinion, I called Jim's Auto Clinic. I was met with a very professional staff, a free to use loaner car, fair pricing, and a warranty for the repairs. So long story short, Jim's mechanic found and fixed my problem and my car is back to normal. I will never use anyone else for my automotive needs. Thanks to everyone at Jim's.

The staff were very nice. It cost $115. For a diagnostic. I thought that was to high. They did find the problem was just a hose off. They put it back on but then informed me that I needed work on my back brake. I knew I needed new back brakes but they also replaced the rooters, and shocks and springs. I thought the price for parts was reasonable but the hourly labor was high. I don t know where they had to test drive my car but they ran out almost a half tank of gas. Maybe this is normal for around here. This is my first time getting work done on my car sense moving here from Kentucky. I had a personal friend who did my work and I know he would have not charged this much. But, such is life. I may or may not use them again. I will look into other places before I decide.Service: General repairs & maintenance
