This is the only Auto repair place I will use. I moved to the area a year ago and found this place by a friend of mine. The Manager Stu is absolutely amazing. His customer service skills are truly some of the best I have ever seen. He treats everyone who walks in that door with so much respect and kindness. I ve sat and watched him while waiting for my car to be repaired. And this young man knows his stuff. I have been in about 4 or 5 times now and he never waivers. He is the same every time I come in. If your looking for a place to get your car fixed look no further stop in and asked for Stu. You won t be disappointed.

I drive all the way across town to visit this CarX because they always help me with whatever I need, always friendly and top tier customer service. I never have to wait very long for my services, and when they didn't have my part in stock, they quickly made some phone calls, and the part came in minutes. Stuart and Ryan are always there when I go in, they're honest and hardworking guys and tell me exactly what I need and get it done quicker than a dog with a bone.

If you don't use your dealership for certified service or whatever, go to this CarX! They'll keep your used car running and in good shape, in several years they've been fantastic with 3 cars in our family at a decent price.. Ask for Stu.

CarX at Bridgetown was great. They were able to get me in when I asked. Friendly, and reliable. I believe "Stu" was the manager there. He explained everything in details. Highly recommend this place for your car needs.

I bought a set of 4 tires from these guys. Very professional, very knowledgeable manager and assistant manager. The SNAP program was a life saver. Seeing how I didn't have the money for all 4, but I drive an AWD suv so it was recommended that I do them all at once. Way too expensive, especially for a oil change. Martinis on Bridgetown only charges between 40 and 50.00 and that's even for full synthetic

Bought wheels and tires on Tire Rack online. This place was the first place on their list for installation. This Pep Boys stated that they were unable to mount my tires without damaging my new rims. The tires were a very common size mounting to a 17" wheel. I would keep my vehicle far away from this place if I were you.

I called five minutes before they closed and asked if they would mind staying open to help with my headlight. They agreed and happily changed it at no cost. He wouldn't even accept a tip. Would recommend for anything you need for your car. His name's started with a B and he was a floater. Very kind man

I have used this car x ever since I have had my car. Which is almost 4 years. They have always been kind and pleasant. Today I had my front brakes repaired, a new battery installed. The employee, Tyler, was most informative and did extra repairs for me at no cost. The manager, Stuart, went out his way to give me the best deal. It s hard to find a good mechanic but I trust this car x . I would highly recommend them to anyone. I will continue to use them as long as needed.Services: Brakes, Battery, Oil change

I called the morning of and was able to get an appt for an oil change same day. When I arrived I had a coupon, Stuart clearly explained the coupon and informed me ahead of time what the final cost would be and why I couldn't use the coupon but also gave me the other deal for what I needed for my car.I was going to drop off my car and walk home since I only have an hour lunch break but he insisted he would have it done no more then 40min so I waited. He was in fact done with my car with plenty of time for me to get back to work.I had questions regarding Car X being certified to be sure I don't void my warranty. He went over all the details informing me and ensuring the process and added if I ever need records I can always call and he will print them.This was the best oil change experience or really retail experience I've had in a very long time. I m not sure who did the actual oil change but he was super quick yet thorough. Ryan at the desk was so friendly and informative. He told me it could take longer to receive a filter from KOI. I didn't have work done but when I wanted a tire repaired late in the day they didn't have time, yet when I asked about new tires they said they definitely had time. The price on the tires was reasonable; however, they attach a bunch of warranties that make it not.

Would not recommend this place to anyone. They seem to make careless mistakes which could have had horrible results had it not been found. 3 different times the have made careless mistakes while working on my boyfriends work van. There s no reason it should have to be taken back multiple times for one problem. they have been very friendly and quick to fix the problem, but they obviously need people who pay attention to detail. Will most definitely not be taking our vehicles back there.Service: Brake service & repair

Update May 2021: I need to record another great experience at this Car-X. I recently bought a new car from Carvana and took it here for an inspection during Carvana's 7-day trial period. I wanted to do it here since I had a great experience with my last service (recorded below). I was able to schedule an appointment early within that time frame. They inspected the vehicle, and I was fully prepared to hear some BS about what needed to be done to the car. They said the car was in great condition, they absolutely recommended buying it, and they did not charge for the inspection. Again--I'm so impressed with their honesty. It just ensured that when this car DOES need service, I'll take it here.I recently had a terrible day; I was stranded after work at 8 a.m. when my car acted up and flashed a bunch of warning lights, so I had to call a tow. When the tow guy asked where I wanted to go, I said this Car-X without much hesitation. On one hand, it's a ten minute walk from my house and my father has been this location's landlord for decades. On the other hand, I generally haven't used this Car-X much myself, preferring Monroe down the street because they had a manager I loved. So rest assured that I went into this service not knowing what to expect; I simply picked it because it was the closest to home, and I was without a car. Complicating things, when my husband finally picked up his phone, I learned that his car *also* failed to start, so he was stranded in Clifton. Long story short, both the tow company (New Dawn) and Car-X would be seeing both of our cars on that unlucky day.I walked into Car-X and met Stuart, the manager, and explained the situation. The first thing he did after learning of our predicament was give a genuinely sympathetic "I am SO sorry for what you're going through" before continuing on to promise he would do everything in his power to work with us trying to find deals or payment plans to lessen our burden. This was without prompting, though I did ask if they had payment plans out of curiosity and he explained them in detail to me. I was overly impressed with Stuart's customer service mentality and found him so easy to talk to that we ended up talking about cars in general for a few moments before I had to leave, and I made sure to grab his business card. I called off work for that night thinking I would not have a car, and I walked home.Five minutes after getting home, Stuart called me (a half hour since the tow truck dropped off my car). He had already looked at and diagnosed my car and told me the issue. He then explained the costs and how he had managed to follow through on his promise on finding a few different deals relevant to me, taking over $300 off the final cost. I was *so* appreciative and thanked him for his time. He said that he could have my car done within a few hours (it was a bad alternator). Lo and behold, while I was sleeping that afternoon my husband walked over to pick my car up and paid for both services. The cost was far below what I expected, so we ended up not having to use a payment plans. Both of our cars were ready by the afternoon after having dropped them off at 10:00 a.m. or so, and this was despite them being quite busy that day.Overall, I am extremely impressed with this Car-X location and with Stu in particular. His friendliness, honesty, and basic empathy won me over and this location has risen to be my preferred (Monroe fired the manager I loved back when I wrote that previous review, so I was open to switching). Even though my husband and I bombarded this location with two surprise mystery jobs, they managed to accept them with a smile and then get the work done quicker and cheaper than I imagined. I will not hesitate to bring my cars back here. Car-X: you better not ever get rid of Stu. That exceptional customer service mentality is what encourages my loyalty and he has single-handedly earned you two loyal customers.
