This store is SO much better than the NCH (Hamilton Ave) location. They also don't make you run your own On-Board Diagnostics reader, don't have long lines, and the employees are much friendlier. Thanks for your help, Johnny - I will return to this store from now on.

Always very friendly & helpful here.It was nice that when I was browsing for motor oil , in the motor oil section the store attendant didnt bombard me with questions about my car, my blood type, my pronouns, am I 2 wheel or 4 wheels kinda guy, etc; etc; Suggested the affordable motor oil for my in the moment needs.Also the check out lady was awesome friendly & all smiles.

Just left the store on mitchell and spring grove, when I walked in there was a small line with one cashier working and the other just standing there, I asked if his register was open and he said as he rolled his eyes yes c mon . Given his body language was non professional I still went to his line and kindly asked do you know which oils I need for my 03 honda odyssey he asked conventional or synthetic. I replied I m not sure , I then told him it s a Honda I m not sure if that makes a difference he then said ok and brought me 2 pints of 5w-30. He then rings me up all I had for a form of payment was a $100 bill he asked immediately if I had anything smaller I told him no because I didn t have my wallet on me and all I brought out of my house was a hundred dollar bill, he then tells me he can t help me because he can t break my hundred. I then looked up the oil I need on Google to make sure I knew what to tell Autozone next door and the cashier told me the wrong oil. I then ask him are you sure my car take 5w30 where he then exclaims that no I was the one who told him I need 5w30 which made 0 sense to me given the whole reason I was in there was to get oil for my vehicle and I never knew what oil it took. At that point I knew this guy didn t want to help me at all and I ended the conversation there and went next door to Autozone. Went there to buy 2 pints of oil for my 03 odyssey older guy with hazel eyes told me I needed 5w -30 synthetic which I now know is the wrong oils for my Honda. It s wild you can t go to advanced auto parts for oil. If this guy would lie and try to manipulate a simple conversation there is no telling what he s doing when he s off camera.

I went in not expecting much. It was an hour before closing and everywhere I had called basically told me I would need a whole new wiper arm (which would take up to a week to order and it s winter with no windshield wipers). I took a chance and drive to this location. AJ greeted me and immediately asked how he could help. I explained my situation and although I had low hopes of anyone being able to help same day, AJ showed confidence. He walked out to look at my car with me and literally fixed my broken windshield wipers- above and beyond what is expected. I m sure if I would have went anywhere else they would have told me they couldn t help me because what he did was above expectations. I bought new blades from them and he totally installed and again fixed mine which were bent and broken. He was so kind and knowledgeable and willing to help. Truly exceeded customer service expectations and made my cry out of relief that someone was so willing to help beyond what they had to. THANK YOU AJ!! Attached a warranty to wipers that I didnt ask to have, then couldnt return warranty in the store and needed to call 800 number. Came back next day and manager took care of it. Service is slow and parking lot is worn out. There are better places to visit

I needed some new wiper blades and my car is a little special (it uses 3 blades up front, all different sizes). But the employee who helped me (really wish I got his name, he is from Alabama though) was fantastic. Put them on for me and refused a tip. Couldn't have been nicer. Had a good conversation with him too. Really great guy. Cant say enough about him.

Went in to find fuses. Grabbed a pack and the representative told me about a smaller pack so I can save some money. Overall Great customer service and easily accessible items in the store. Will definitely be going back!

Poor experience. Some good employees, some terrible ones nearly fighting in front of customers. Ultimately, no manager in store, so the polite, but powerless employee helping me could not successfully return my loaner tools (even with the receipt). It's a good thing that there is an AutoZone next door!

This particular location of Advanced Auto Parts is one to steer clear of. I came in to replace my wiper blades, the manager tried to sell me mid-range set of blades while that same brand was running a promotion that would have made the high-end set cheaper. They reluctantly went to find the set that was on sale once I figured this out but were out of one size, so they "ordered" it for me and told me to come back three days later. I come back, wasting my time, and they don't have to blade in the right size again and try to sell me a more expensive alternative. One one previous occasion I ignored to sense that the employees in this shop were trying to swindle me as I had previously been happy with this chain, but never again. Go to the competitor next door, it was a much better experience.

Clean, bright, small enough to easily see and find what you need. The staff will usually ask if you need help. Only being an entry-level shade tree mechanic, only once have they not had something I was looking for; but there is a competitor's auto parts store next to them, so you are covered! They also have a Rewards program, so be sure to sign up. Discount coupons are substantial and easily accumulate.

Not only did they have the part, the gentleman who sold it to me accompanied me out to my car. Then he proceeded to navigate the maze of the trunk, discern how to get the brake light out (never would have figured that one out myself), figured out which light was dead, gently but with great strength unscrewed the old and installed the new one, then had me hit the brakes so he knew the light was working. I left there, not only with a functioning brake light, but with renewed faith in human kind, kindness. Thanks

My daughter is a college student in Cincinnati. Her car battery died. The associates at the store were super nice, recommended the correct battery and at night in 20 deg weather replaced the battery for her. Great service and very professional in the process. Thank you "Dad from Cleveland"

Not a good experience I called ahead they said they had the part and could install not only did the guy after waiting awhile come out and say he couldn't install it they sold me the wrong parts!

Great place and people but never seem to have that one thing I be needing lol. Crazy thing is they couldn't tell me if they were just out of what I need or if I could go to another location. It was so easy to tell and show what I needed but act as 8f they didn't understand what I was trying to say.

The staff here quickly help me with my battery and put it on the machine so that it could find out whether it could be charged. When they found that it could not be charged we were able to find an inexpensive replacement for my vehicle battery and it was all done quickly and without drama.

Sept. 23, 2019,I just had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Ramondo at the Spring Grove Store. My car needed to have several lights replaced. Because of my lack of skill and familiarity with problems of this kind, I was unable to correctly fix the problems. Thankfully, Mr Ramondo helped me and fixed the problems. His skill and knowledge saved the day. In addition, he was very patient and kind with me. He also educated me on how to fix the problem in the future. He provided excellent customer service in all respects. He is really a gem and I can not speak too highly of him. Advanced Auto is fortunate to have such a talented employee and I hope they recognize the wonderful assets he is for the company and support him accordingly.Dr. Robert Contadino

Bought my battery for a check. Checked the battery and was told that my battery is dead and i need to buy a new one. But as soon as i showed him a purchase receipt with a year warranty, the store clerk analysis changed. He now said i need a charge cycle not a new battery!!. Seriously trying to rip customers.!! I am a regular customer at this store. No more..

I have shopped here often when I need something for my car that I can do myself. Most recently that was valve stem caps. It seems that over the past year I lost 3 out of the 4 while inflating my tires every month. As on other visits to this store the wait is usually pretty short and the staff is friendly and very knowledgeable. Also they always seem to have what I need. The prices are reasonable and the store is conveniently located at Spring Grove and W. Mitchell Avenue. Until next time be kind to each other. #advancedautoparts

Didn't have item in stock. It was completely empty at even 7 pm while the better Auto-zone was booming. The second employee I dealt with was fine, however a scumbag employee named Reggie had the audacity to have a shouting match with me (A CUSTOMER) all the way to the parking lot- damn near trying to threaten me because he felt insecure about me mentioning that he didn't help me. This is the type of dude that perpetuates that hoodrat stereotype. However I may digress, steer clear away form this store!

Purchased battery from them and had to have my car jumped the same week, went back to the store for a replacement As AAA gave a reading to replace and was told they didn't know what they were talking about. Advance does not know what they are talking about, I had to continue to have my car jumped and I had enough and now they want to tell me that it has a dead cell and my warranty has expired, but if it is expired it won't come up on the system, but there it was, they wanted to make me a deal on the bad battery they sold me, buy a new one for $131 with 2 yr warranty, seriously. Not doing business with this company any more. Lesson learned.

Cant believe the manager, is the manager. No name tag on as well. Completely disrespectful tone , and attitude. Would not show me where my part was. Had a customer behind me in line find it. Then when i went to pay andmake sure it was compatible with my car he didnt answer my question and just said "if you open it and it dont fit, its yours!" The sales associate at the next register even apologized on behalf of how the manager reacted to me.

I have rented 3 tools from them and all have been missing components to the point that they have not been usable... Contact your suppliers and get replacements. The number is literally on the kit for replacement parts. - Never have I ever had missing components from you competitors.
