DO NOT DARE DEAL WITH THESE PEOPLE!! PICTURE BELOW!! Had Two cars towed to this location..Car #1 blew up on the highway and had no idea what was wrong and Car #2 was a suspected transmission leak because hood was smoking after being driven and car was over heating. Had a diagnostic done on both. Car #1 they said was an engine problem and they refused to touch it okay fair enough. Car #2 was told that everything that needed to be done was mainly tire and joint maintenance and things of that nature but there was no leak and everything under the hood was fine. Also was told they test drove it TWICE and still no signs of any leak. Then I ask again and make sure the car is safe to drive and I m told it s safe to drive but they could not test drive because there was no gas in the car. But had already been told TWICE that it was test driven?? Only thing that I had done was a battery put in Car #2 because they wanted 1500$ to fix everything and I just didn t have the money. so pick up #2 and the same day I now have a MAJOR GAS LEAK?!?! and my car is smoking MORE than it was before?!?! And now the car is also having other issues and can no longer be driven GREAT. Go to pick up car number #1 and MY WINDOW IS BUSTED OUT. tried to say they aren t liable and all this stuff but I know for a fact THEY were the ones who did it because (1) WHY were the items I had in my back seat taken out AND PUT IN MY TRUNK before the window was busted ?? (2) WHY was the window busted in a place you can t even reach the handle AND ALL FOUR DOORS WERE VISIBLY UNLOCKED because it s an old car so you can see that the locks were up?!? (3) why were only specific fuses that only a mechanic would know to take CLEANLY taken out of my vehicle (4) AND WHY was the entire mechanism that closes my trunk COMPLETELY taken out and sitting in my trunk?! (5) WHY out of about 7-8 other cars was MINE the only one with a busted out window ?!? These so called mechanics will leave your car in SIGNIFICANTLY worse conditions than you dropped it off with and claim they aren t responsible. THEY ARE RESPONSIBLE AND WILL BE HELD ACCOUNTABLE!! This is completely unacceptable especially for a company as big as AAA!

Don't go to this location if you need work done in a timely manner. I had my car taken there 3 times now each time it has taken 2 3 and 4 days to even find out what was going on and then another day to finish the work. Also ladies one of the employees (I can't remember his name) talks down to wome. This is the last time I will be going to this location. Prices are reasonable but if you depoend on your car you will not get it back same day or even next day

I had my vehicle towed to this location because it wouldn't turn over to start. Well a few days later they ordered the part and reached out to me to say it was ready to go. I went yesterday and paid almost $600 and my vehicle still wouldn't start and it was shaking and overheating. I went back in store, they said the mechanic left, but this Michael Lewis guy was very rude and said well he going to feed his kids tonight. I mean are you going to feed your kids after the money I just paid and my vehicle is worse now then when I brought it in. He refused to have my car worked on again and told Brent to give my key and vehicle back. After that altercation with Mr. Lewis, I will not be back because as a female I was treated like I didn't know anything. I know about my vehicle. So please don't deal with this location especially if Michael Lewis is going to continue to be there. I wasn't treated right at all and my vehicle is worse than before. JUST SAY NO TO THIS LOCATION!!!

Had my 2003 Dodge truck wheel bearings replaced there a year ago prior to a road trip to Cali'. Although mismatched so far so good after paying over $400 for each bearing. (not including labor) Initially asked them to remove all 4 wheel spacers and repair a bad valve stem in rear tire. (none of this was done) When they did do it after i arrived to pick up my truck they cut a 1 inch gash into my steel rim replacing valve stem. over a thousand dollars later for the work i just settled for hittin' the road. Should have just done the bearings myself.

Long story short!! AAA has nothing but sales discounts with Bob Sumerel and other businesses. The incompetent rude, lyingMGR to greasy mechanic sitting on my leather seats, after destroying my new jeep by not bleeding air out of hoses & left unattached to malfitting hoses, I could go on forever. If you value your life or family, please head my warning, who knows how many have wrecked or died because the ins examiners were unaware . Feel sorry for the elderly being taken advantage of.FALSE advertisement: AAA is not legally responsible since the 1980's when they went commercial only.

After installing 4 new tires, all tires were inflated 10-15 # over recommendations. A tire pressure sensor stopped working immediately I called Mgr Kevin and he said he d look into it. I brought car in for service and for him to rectify the situation. He bailed and went home without fixing or calling back.Asst Mgr I m assuming said there was nothing he could do about it. My brother in law just had the same exact experience when they broke his company truck tire pressure sensor. They told them to drive it awhile and it will start working. This seems to be a regular thing and it just cost them my family s 4 vehicles and my brother in laws fleet of 6 service vans instead of eating an $89 part! Wow talk about 101 management! Word!

Doug was very helpful, polite and I received great service from the shop guys. AAA membership helps with the cost a bit, and there are several locations around Cincy. They installed tires on my old 95 Toyota Camry, so now I'm safer to drive the wet nights home ahead.

I took my truck into, to have the exhaust looked at. The flex connector, had come off of the exhaust side of the muffler. This is what they quoted me to do the repairs. They wanted to replace everything from the flex connector back. All they needed to replace was the flex connector! My truck did not need a new muffler and piping!. I took it to another shop and they are replacing the flex connector for $300. Word to the wise, get a second opinion. The estimate should speak for itself. Bob Sumerel AAA, in my opinion is nothing but a licensed thief!!! They try to replace parts that don't need to be replaced just to make money! Stay away from them! They may get you! Also, I tried reporting them to the BBB and they are not even accredited to the Better Business bureau! Stay away from them!

I brought my car in for a look over because my brakes were leaking and the three guys that were there Mark Luke and Kevin were so friendly and got me in there in no time to look over my car to see what was going on. They were able to tell me what was going on and what I needed to do to get it fixed set me up an appointment even though I went and attempted to fix the problem myself they still got me in to my appointment and gave my car a good look over to make sure I did everything right and again the same three guys were so friendly and efficient I would highly recommend taking your car to this place to get it fixed and looked over by these guys thank you so much I will definitely be bringing my car here for all my needs!!!

Purchased 4 tires here. About 3 months later a slow leak was identified so made an appoint to fix the tire. Two weeks later the same tire was flat again. Made yet another appointment to fix the flat and they worked on the alignment and ignored the tire repair so had have them keep the car to fix the flat. Now they are charging me to pay for the alignment I did not ask for or need. They clearly don't know how to work on tires nor do they have any credibility in my book. Avoid this place at all costs

I had my car tow there by AAA, since I'm a Plus member. I had been taking my car to that location for several years. I originally had the AAA driver put my name in the queue then on Sunday I got online to make an appointment .I had to call them for a several days to find out when they would look at my car. They never called me first & then employees were short on the phone. They finally, on day 5, look at my car. They lied to me by saying they did an routine evaluation on my car as well as isolated the problem ( from my description of why my car suddenly would not start in a store parking lot.). They said I needed new brakes pads ( that was an recommendation written on last oil change). At time of car tow, my car needed an oil change & tires pumped up. If car was evaluated they would have noticed that..neither were done when I picked up my car after brake pads & problem repart.I looked over car at home when I noticed they did not do an oil change. Car had puncture holes on interior lining and grease fingerprints and smears on the interior which my car is kept in almost perfect condition interior wise even as it is 9 yrs old. I am going to a different garage now.

I've been getting the run around since 7/15. I took my vehicle in to get lights replaced and asked them to check rear passenger side tire keeps coming up low. Picked car up and had to take it back because the tire was low. Manager Brian said it was a bad sensor. NOT took it back again there was a nail in the tire. Had to go back 7 different times trying to get it fixed. Then come to find out they double charged my credit card. Said they would send me a check last week. Still have NOT received check. Called Manager and he said district manager messed up and would be sending the check out today. I said I wanted to talk to the district manager, puts me on a long hold. comes back on the line and wants me to come back there. I said I wanted to talk to DM and he refused to give me his number. Takes my number and says DM will Call me still have NOT heard from anyone. Still out $250 NOT HAPPY AT ALL

They barely looked at my car and said it was starter, but I literally just installed the starter, so they claimed my engine was locked up. I tried to have it towed to another shop. They didn t have my key back in my car, after I asked. So tow driver couldn t take it to different shop. That happened two days in a row. My car got to the new shop finally, they called me and said there isn t a starter at all. So I called Bob Sumerel again, they were rude and said my starter was burned up and they didn t know where it was. Called the next day to talk to manager, someone who actually seemed to care. He called back a while later and told me the mechanic said it was in my back seat. With the exception of the manager, the employees are rude, unprofessional, and seemingly incompetent. I highly do not recommend this place.

Would not recommend Colerain location and no plans of going back. (Bought my tires at Harrison Ave location this summer) and a AAA member. Colerain puts the air in, do not allow customers to. Worker put air in and lingered on rear pass tire. Went down road not even 2 miles, turned off car got back in and tire pressure 12 pounds low! Saw there was a screw in pass rear tire. Went back, they were surprised when I came back -- $34.99 to plug a tire is extreme! ($3.00 off for AAA member). I left and see tire pressure 4 pounds higher than the other 3, so he didn't even check it!

I would really like to thank Doug at Bob Sumeral Northgate for excellence on 11/24/21. I had a terrible time overnight arguing with AAA re: mobile installing a battery. As a premium AAA member, my policy states that I may receive one free battery per year installed as a mobile service wherever my car may be. Last night I requested this service as my truck battery continued to lose charge. I requested service on 11/23/21 at 9 pm. And I was broke down at my parent s home in Indiana. I even followed up with a call to make sure the driver would have a battery for Ford F-150. I was told they contacted the driver and everything was good. At 1000 when they were to arrive; the dispatcher Mark informed me that they could not install a battery and it would be 1:17 am to help me. I asked to speak to supervisor and I was transferred to no one.At 1:45 the driver reached me and jump started my truck. His name is Don. At first he was pleasant. I inquired about the battery service. He said we don t do battery service onweekends . I said this is NOT the weekend- it s Tuesday. He said I mean we don t have battery service on holidays. I said TODAY is not a holiday. Then he said well we don t deliver batteries to Indiana- you are out in the country. I said my policy does not state any exceptions. I live in Ohio. Oxford is literally 2 miles from here. Then he said I was just being DIFFICULT (. Very unprofessional). I said I m being DIFFICULT because AAA is not standing by their membership which I ve paid for ( and rarely use). Plus I m going to have to drive to Bob Sumerals tomorrow and wait 2-3 hours for a battery install when you could have me ready in 10 min ( instead of arguing with me! He said you do not know that . And He stormed off .Back to Doug ********. He is the ONLY person that helped me today get my battery installed at Bob Sumeral s Northgate so that I can safely get to work tonight. THANK YOUI will be cancelling my premium membership though so not worth it

Had a tire blowout so AAA towed our vehicle to this location which was closest to where we were. While the vehicle was there somebody stole the catalytic converter. They share a lot so said they couldn't do anything so on top of new tires had to pay out of pocket for a catalytic converter at another ship. They probably let the thugs know when cars come in at night and take a cut.

After doing business for many years (multiple vehicles) at the Colerain location, my job changed and I went to the Bob Sumerel location on Rt 4 in Fairfield. Ownership, managers, personnel and poor quality changes caused my dissatisfaction to grow. So I moved my car care elsewhere. On July 3rd, 2019 I had a tire blow out in Ross, I waited until Friday and with being off work decided to reach out to BS Colerain location, Jason manager. He told me they could get my car in on Saturday at 1:00 pm. By 2:30 pm still not in the garage. At 3:15 he called and stated that the Cooper All Weather tires on my vehicle had not been manufactured for over 3 years, tread was less than 3/8 and recommended all new tires (all made sense to me as I was trusting his advice). AND they were having a buy 3 tires and get fourth tire free. Sounding great - I love a sale! Read off everything included .... I agreed go ahead along with High Miles Oil change. They close at 4:00 pm on Saturday. When I arrive they were finishing my car and closing for the day. I signed the paperwork, paid the monies due only to get home and see a charge for alignment and road hazard policy. Back in the day alignment was included when purchasing 4 new tires AND ROAD HAZARD POLICY. We never talked about this, so I called him - he (said that if I get a nail in the tire) I would not get a new tire. I understood, never a question or expectation and I have "roadside assistance". I asked for a refund - he said come back to the store and he would give credit to my card. Had to make two trips, first time he was out for a few days and Doug said he could not help (understood). Then went back and presented my paperwork and card to Jason - he said if he gave me the refund HE WOULD HAVE TO CHARGE ME FOR THE FOURTH TIRE! WHAT KIND OF SALE IS THAT? My trust in Bob Sumerel is gone and I will never take my car back there to be serviced AND I want my $70.56 refund. VickiH

Then my dad found a lower price and i called this place back and told them we found a better deal. The guy then said hed match it and when we got there turned out i knew the guy! Quite the surprise but he took care of me. I was shocked. Id go back again cause i trust him with my car no matter what.

I dropped my truck off for a brake problem at 9:00. The salesperson J. Fischer told me that it would be no problem taking a look at it due to the fact that there where only two car in the shop and they were slow. At 3:00 I called them and the told me that they had just pulled it in to look at it and would call me back. I left from work at 4:00 and drove there. My truck was in the shop with the hood up but the front tires were still on it. The manager told me that the customers in the waiting room were bugging him to get their cars done so that's the reason he had not looked at my truck. A half an hour later he informs me that I blew a brake line on the drivers front and his mechanics could not loosen the bleeder valves on either calipers. He informed me that both brake lines, calipers and pads would need to be replaced for about 900.00. It's hard to believe that they could see all those problems with no taking off the front wheels and only lifting up the hood. It seems to me that this is a racket to not take of a problem but to gouge a customer who doesn't know anything about their vehicle and blindly pay the money. The salesperson needs to be retrained on how to run the counter and run the shop.

Excellent service, very professional and an establishment you can trust. They accept AAA discounts and are very reasonably priced. They did a great job helping me figure out which tires best fit my needs, and completed the job quickly. Will definitely be a return customer for any future needs that I can't handle myself. Very honest staff!

Been taking both of our cars here for years. Convenient hours, including weekends. They do a great job of explaining what needs to be done and providing an estimate up front. I have had both routine maintenance and unexpected car repairs worked on at this location. I've never had a negative experience.

I dropped my car off on 8/12/2016 at 8:00 AM to have the air conditioner serviced. My car had 159,930 miles, and the fuel tank was 7/8 full. My trip odometer had 94 miles on it.Bob Sumerel had my car for 8.5 hours. When I picked it up at 4:30 PM my car had 160,000 miles on it, the fuel tank was slightly over 1/2 full, and my trip odometer was reset to zero.Bob Sumerel put 70 MILES on my car, and then reset the trip odometer to try to cover their tracks.NEVER GO THERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

No one at this store can communicate - with fellow employees or customers. I spoke with Chris Friday, and asked if I could drop my truck off Saturday morning for new tires. He said that was fine - he didn't ask me about my vehicle or what type of tires I needed, and he didn't give me an appointment time. I didn't think much of it until I took the truck in at 8:30am Saturday and was told by Arthur "you're late." Chris never gave me a time, but apparently told his staff of a 7:30am appointment! So of course they don't have tires for my truck - they'll need to order them in. Arthur was helpful in helping me select tires and was friendly, and that's the ONLY reason this is a 2* review not a 1*. I said I needed the truck back by Wednesday, because I needed to haul horses to a show on Friday, and Arthur said it would be ready by Tuesday afternoon. I say that's great, I'll pick it up Tuesday evening.By 3:30pm Tuesday, I hadn't heard from them, so I called to inquire. Chris informed me that "Darrel" said I didn't need to pick the truck up until Friday, so they pushed the appointment back. Why does Chris, who is supposedly a manager, think its acceptable to push a vehicle pick up time back without consulting the customer? I don't know how you run a business that way. Both Saturday and Tuesday when I talked to these people, they were complaining to me that they were short staffed. This is unprofessional - as I customer I don't need to hear you whine about your job. I've been at work short staffed before too. Its not an excuse. As someone with a background in management, and who runs their own business, I found this experience disappointing and unprofessional. Especially when I'm bringing them more than $1000 in business! I will not be returning to this establishment.

Up until today I would go to Valvoline to get my oil changed, a little pricey yes but with a coupon manageable, it's fast and I don't have to get out of my car. HOWEVER, today is my last visit at Valvoline. After breaking my valve stem and replacing it with the wrong Vehicles valve stem I went to Bob Sumerel and spoke with Jason. This guy is awesome. He got me in straight away told me of the error and had me fixed in no time while apologizing for Valvolines mistake. Jason is awesomesauce and now has my business. Bob Sumerel give Jason a raise! Kind respectful fast and most importantly put the right part on my car! Thanks!

Went into get an oil change and tire rotation, they did not rotate tires not check tire pressure. Did not check fluids, had to go back and make them do their job like their supposed too, management and employee's need to be trained to run a business successfully.
