Haven t bought a vehicle, I will update the review if or when I do. But dealing with the guy, not sure of his name, but he is very nice and honest knowing these are older used cars and trucks, I was exploring my options looking at single cab trucks and crew and extended cab trucks, so I came back a couple times, (I think I confused him a little, sorry bout that) but overall nice little dealership, most of his vehicles are pretty clean regarding rust and scratches. And he s gets some neat classics! (Again haven t bought a vehicle from him, just have dealt with them exploring vehicles)

Overall experience was good salesman was not pushy no pressure and helpful very happy with my purchase I believe they were honest. And they were willing to negotiate with the price next time I'm in the market for a car I would definitely consider this place

When buying a used car, especially a heavily used car, it is incredibly important you take the vehicle out to get inspected. The staff at lake effect were very understanding of this, and let me take the car I was interested in to a mechanic shop. They were very friendly throughout the entire buying process. The only remote "complaint" I have is I wished I could have talked down the price a little more. But business is business....When buying a used car YOU need to make sure the car you are interested in checks out. This is a used car dealership, there are no guarantees. If I had to buy another car from this place I would. But judging from the other reviews, it all comes down to what car you buy and how much you inspect it before you buy it.

Didn t disclose things wrong with the car. Minor things but things. Said it had new breaks but only did new pads, broken gear shift button, wiper spray didn t workCar has been great over all. Tim was ok to work with, just did not budge on the price at allI recommend this place 8/10

This is a top notch business. The vehicles are clean and priced fairly. Time is taken to meet the customers needs and wants with an overall valued customer feeling. I recommend stopping by and looking at the inventory and working a deal out.

Absolute junk priced at almost double it's valueEDITED:As I cannot reply to your reply I can say that just denying I have been to your lot is a very cheap way to try and discredit my review, so I'll just say that I've been there long enough to see everything on the lot dripping from armorall, fresh black paint on those formerly rusty frames and undercarriage's, as well as the one vehicle I had specifically stopped to look at was that jeep wrangler with the bubble gum welds on all the home made transmission crossmembers, side steps and those hacked in body panel repairs.So next time you want to accuse someone of never being on your lot I'd suggest you know who your talking to. Have a good day Sir and stop trying to hide all the damage, rust, and terrible repairs with black spray paint and armorall.DO BETTER!

Do NOT buy a car from this place! They're dishonest greedy people who only care about making a quick buck. I recently bought a car from Tim with the promise that the car was in good shape. He claimed he had his mechanic look at it and there were no glaring issues. I quickly found out that the car didn't even have transmission fluid! Tim allowed me to drive off the lot knowing that the car could have blown up at any time. He has no regard for the safety of his customers. All he cares about is money in their pockets. He is the definition of a scam artist.

I recently bought a 2004 Honda Pilot. Tim told me that he had it inspected and that he had a few minor repairs made. He assured me it was a great driving car that was well maintained. One month later and it is in the shop needing $3000+ worth of repairs. Tim lied straight to my face. The vehicle was not well maintained nor was it safe to drive, but yet he let me drive off the lot with my money in his hand. BE CAUTIOUS!! I'm very embarrassed being taken advantage of, and I'm writing this as a warning to future potential customers.

Highly recommend. Great prices, great vehicles ! The cars are very clean and detailed. Bought a mini van for $2,000 and its in great condition mechanically and cosmetically! Very friendly customer service. We will deffinately return in the future.

Not your traditional car lot. It s a father and son (super nice guys) and they keep really interesting inventory. I would say a lot of the vehicles in their warehouse you would have a hard time finding anywhere else. A lot of low mileage vehicles and speciality vehicles.

I have no idea where they find all their cars, but they have the best selection of cars that i have found in northeast Ohio. Fair pricing and very easy to do business with.
