D&S did an AMAZING job on my truck! They got me scheduled quick and the turn around time was 5 days. My truck had paint chipping off the mirrors and the front grill and they repaired it. They fixed the scratches on the bed and then detailed it inside and out. I couldn t be any happier with the outcome.

This body shop is dirty as they come! I replaced the window that was broken and they did estimate and put touch up paint on the truck little did I know they were going to lie and say that was old and replace the window a second time and got silicone all over the truck! They didn t fix damages that were from the incident and tried to say it s old had touch up paint on it from (them)! Then they broke my spare tire rack and broke my taillights are working intermittently! My park sensors are not functioning properly! They also didn t put new Tonneau cover on I had to ask them for it when I got there! Jessica was the only person there that was decent! All the rest of them had attitudes especially when I asked for the receipt for the new taillights! Job is not finished and yet I m terrified of taking my truck back there! Also didnt set up linex to get put back on! There s flaws in the body work they did! 12,000 dollars they charged and I m not surpposed to say anything? Terrible experience!

D&S was great to work with after my car was rear ended. They dealt with the insurance company directly, helped me get the rental car quickly when my schedule was tight. They also worked with my schedule when a family emergency necessitated that I get my car back sooner than planned. The car looks great and runs well. Jason, Jessica, and others were very pleasant and easy to work with throughout the process. I would recommend d&s.

D & S was a great place to take my car for repair. Professional staff and quality service. They brought me home after I dropped off my car and then delivered my car when it was finished, looks like a new car!! I would definitely recommend this business to family and friends and use them myself if the need ever comes up again.

Our car was damaged on the front passenger side so we took it to D&S Automotive for repair. Their customer service is professional and courteous. They kept us informed of their progress, and the final result is exceptional! Plus, the interior was detailed (not that it was that dirty) but it sure was cleaner than when we dropped it off.What a great company!

D&S provided a quick and swift remedy for my bumper issue. Jason quickly diagnosed the problem, and had a part ordered. When we came back to get the part put on, Jason and his team had us in and out very quickly. Jessica also added to the friendly atmosphere at D&S. I will certainly be returning there for any needs in the future!

This is my second experience with this shop. The first time being new to the area, I did a search for a body shop that seemed reputable. I was genuinely impressed with the quality of the work performed as I am now older but in my younger days did body work and painting as well. So now, my beautiful High Country truck was t-boned by a large deer and did quite a bit of damage so now at least I thought I had a place to take my vehicle for repair. D&S worked seamlessly with my insurance company, secured all new OEM parts, performed all necessary paintwork, and even detailed the truck before I picked it up. The work is not only guaranteed for as long as you own your vehicle, but the craftsmanship is impeccable. Had a chance to tour the shop and meet some of the staff as well. My truck has not looked so good since the day I brought it home new. I highly recommend D&S in Chardon for any of your automotive body needs as I could not be any happier getting my truck back.

I have been using D&S Auto since the 1980's, first at their location in Mentor and since they opened in Chardon at that location. I have never been disappointed with the service and professionalism of the staff. Last summer after a truck hit me, they repaired the left rear quarter panel of my 2021 Telluride and blended the metallic silver paint flawlessly. A week ago a young lady while talking on her phone sideswiped the right side of the same car from the doors to the rear bumper. Already have an appointment with D&S scheduled. The repairs and service has always been seamless with my insurance company and Jessica always handles communications between all parties with great pride and sincerity. I highly recommend this family business.

THE D&S CHARDON LOCATION IS SHADY! They installed a new door and window the glass had a bunch of scratches not only that, My car only ran for about 10 minutes before going back into the limp mode from the accident that it was in they said it ran fine while it was there and that they did not touch the battery. But the mechanic told me that he had to jump the battery multiple times. The owner claims they did not touch it my battery was toast after being jumped like that instead of from the terminals under the hood. they ripped my wiper control switch off and balanced it back on there my wiper blades were stuck full speed I had to pull the relays out to get him to stop they denied responsibility. My OBD2 port was also not loose and they claim no responsibility. My car has now 7 codes and has been sitting at the dealership for months. D&S Claims it must have been a prior issue but I've had no problems with my car starting and running for 3 years until this accident.

I was very happy with the work done on my car at D&S in Chardon. The professional and friendly staff handled everything with my insurance and set me up with my rental. Jason and Jessica were both amazing to work with. The repairs done were quick and it looked good as new. My car was even detailed upon return. I will definitely use them again !!!

I recently had a car accident and choseD & S Automotive in Chardon because it was a recommended repair shop from my insurance company.I received my car back after the repairs were completed and honestly my car looks brand new.I can't say enough about the staff keeping you informed through the repair process. They are very accommodating knowing that you will reply when you are able to if they need to communicate with you about your repairs.My car was clean and taken care of. Nothing but amazing service and quality from start to finish! The team was professional, knowledgeable, and very kind. I was rear-ended while stopped at a red light, causing substantial damage to my bumper, several panels, dislodging the trunk and even pushing in part of the trunk frame. D&S was recommended to me, and I decided to drive over 30 minutes away to meet with Jason Vargo, manager of the Chardon location. He immediately made me feel at ease about the situation and provided helpful advice to pursue the claim with the at-fault insurance company. After I got a claim number from insurance, they literally took care of everything including arranging a rental car from Enterprise and working directly with the insurance company. Along the way, I received weekly updates on the progress, and they were always available for a quick call with any questions. The work is flawless, I'm thrilled with the repair. You can't tell anything happened. First class operation all around. Hopefully I don't encounter this situation again, but if I do, or need any type of repair work in the future D&S will be my only call.Services: Painting, Body & Trim

I was involved in a hit and run accident on July 8th. Upon contacting my insurance company one of their preferred shops was D&S Automotive Chardon.When I contacted them, they readily made arrangements to get my vehicle in and set up a rental immediately.I was kept in the loop, and notified of everything that was going on in a timely and professional manner.My car was completed much sooner than I anticipated to my surprise!When I went to pick it up I couldn't be happier with the customer service from all of the staff. Everything that was done was explained, in a language I could easily understand. My Hyundai Santa Fe looked great!I would highly recommend this repair facility and will be returning for any future needs I may have.Kudos to the whole staff at D&S for doing an outstanding job and thank you for a job well done!Services: Painting, Body & Trim

I chose D&S for repairs after a fender bender and was so impressed by how friendly and efficient they were. One of the first questions asked was if I was okay following the accident and that really stuck with me. They worked quickly to communicate with insurance and get everything set up and they maintained constant communication with me as well. The repairs and detailing look great.
