Had an alignment done on my Ram 2500. Brand new tires yet it was pulling to the left. Took the truck to consumer tire and not only did they do a great job, they were very polite and let me know what they had to do to get the truck perfectly aligned. I highly recommend them!

Under new ownership. Last fall it cost $25/tire to change 4 tires. Today (3-8-2024) it cost $41.50 per tire to switch out the snow tires for the summer tires (a 66% increase). Additionally, they imposed a 3% surcharge to use my credit card. The service was fine, but people should be aware of the 69% increase in price in less than four months for the same service.

Recently needed two new front tires for my wife's vehicle.The tires were in stock and installed quickly and correctly.I specifically asked about the warranty on the tires and was told that the warranty included was free patches if needed and prorated discount if the tire could not be patched.I then noticed that there was an additional line item on the bill for an additional warranty which was not made clear during the sales process.I called the following business day to get the additional warranty removed so I could just take the manufacturer warranty and was told that I could not remove it and that it was part of the installation package.Very disappointed that this additional $17.50 a tire warranty was not made clear and is apparently not optional.Please be clear with charges that are included on the bill above and beyond what the customer is requesting.

I love this place! Been going there for years (decades?) They ve just changed ownership, but it s still in the family just time to transfer to another generation.

Took my vehicle in for a full brake install on all four wheels. Job went well except I was told the rear calipers would not fit which was odd, since all the parts were a single kit for that vehicle. So after I got the car back I had to spend 2 hours installing the calipers myself. As seen in the photos, they fit just fine. Otherwise, this shop has done good, quick work at competitive prices.

Had a radiator replaced car came back with transmission problems and now they won't fix the solution 24 hours later cars blowing coolant out

I can not speak to their products or services. That's because it took roughly 15 minuets for the sales person to run me out of their store. My experience was terrible. The sales person acted like they had better things to do and I was wasting their time. My questions were answered with a great deal of condescension and a general rude demeanor. I needed tires for my truck and also planned to get my wife's tires replaced. The sale would have been roughly $1800 - $2000 for both vehicles. This place must be making money hand over fist to be able to turn away my money. In conclusion if you have no problem being talked down to or feeling like you aren't worth their time then go for it! For me..... this type of place wont ever get a dime from me.Less than a one star rating but that's not an option.

Do great work. No Bs and straight to the point. One of the few places my wife has been very comfortable going to and have always been treated with nothing but respect. Can't recommend enough.

Well, dont know if it was just because its Good Friday and the staff was in a hurry to get done for the wknd but took my RAM 3500 in for an alignment. Was called and told the trucks alignment was fine but the tries were worn bad and needed to be rotated and that it was no longer pulling to the left (why I had assumed it needed an alignment after recent tire rotation). I asked if they adjusted the pressure as part of the "rotation" and was told yes.Got it home and noticed that the left rear left tire was about 10lbs higher than the front left tire. I figured that may be due to the TPMS sensors not resetting after rotation. Checked again a few hours later and no change.Bottom line: This places definition of a "Tire Rotation" is to switch the left front&Rear tires and call it a day without even making sure the front&rear pressures match and charging $65 for it.Needless to say, that's the first and last time this place touches any of my vehicles. If U cant get simple stuff right...

I am from the far west side, my tire blew on the highway coming out to our friends in Gates Mills on a Friday night. On Saturday morning I called Dee-Dee just by chance of her having the special tire my car required. I know to shop local no matter what, because you always get treated like family. They had a full schedule, but she said she d squeeze me in. 2 tires and a much needed oil change, I was in and out in an hour. Incredible people and Incredible service.

Leaving for a long road trip on Wednesday and got a tire pressure warning Monday evening.Called Consumer tire on Tuesday morning first thing and was told to bring in the truck and they would fit me in.Dave the Manager went above and beyond to get get me right in and everything squared away and they found a small screw that was the cause of the problem.I highly recommend this shop for your repairs and new tire needs.

I had a great experience with Consumer Tire. They had my tires in stock, ready to install same day. They looked for every discount/rebate possible that I could qualify for and saved me $100. Service was very personable. Highly recommend them.

Super helpful and courteous. They take the time to explain any repairs needed before they just do the repairs.Pricing is reasonable and they only do what has to be done. Definitely a great place to take your vehicle for all your service and repair needs.

These people are the best! They always do a great job and at the absolute best prices! Now add in the fact that everyone is down to Earth, professional, and friendly. I wish every business was more like them. Since finding this place , I actually look forward to any service I have on either of my two VWs!

What a wonderful experience!Professional, kind, efficient and great prices! They went out of their way at Consumer Tire to get my RV tires changed and get me back on the road!Thank you DD, Dave and my mechanic... I'm sorry I'm blanking on the wonderful young man's name who changed my tires and the gentleman who changed my windshield wipers.

Consumer Tire deserves way more than just 5 stars. I had an appointment for a brake job and when the parts they ordered didn't arrive, Dave, the leader of the Chardon store, went hauling all the way out to Mentor in a terrible January snowstorm just to get them. Consumer Tire gets things done right and, if by some chance something goes wrong, they will DEFINITELY make it right.

They have always been upfront with everything that's needed done. Prices are reasonable and they do a great job of understanding how proactive I want to be with repairs. If I don't have time to do the work myself, I never hesitate to bring my family's cars here.

Had a slow leak in a tire, called them 25 minutes before they were supposed to close. They said get here fast and we can help. Fixed the tire. I'm sure they were late getting home. Nice, nice people and I recommend them highly!!

I have bought tires here and had a worthwhile experience, so I recommended my wife call them and check pricing for her late model SUV. The vehicle has 20 inch tires. While on break at work, she called Consumer Tire, some guy takes the call, and since she did not have the other exact tire data, he was short and condescending with her. She was taken back and felt insulted. I was trying to steer business to this local shop, and they treat a customer in a poor manner. Won't go back. Costco or WallMart, here we come again for tires.

Dropped in at 2 p.m. without calling first. We had a large nail in our tire and needed to get it pulled and the tire plugged. The shop was very busy. However, they worked us in and got us back on the road. Great customer service all around.

Always great service and reasonable prices. I can't say enough positive things about this place and I'm not easily pleased when it comes to my vehicle. Consumer values integrity and getting the job done right and you just can't say that about most shops these days.

We used to have work done that I don't have time for.We would purchase the part and have them do the work.Those days are over! Now they won't let you bring a part in,you have to buy the part from them and they mark it up double the price and add it to your bill.Theyvsaid my frame was rotted through also and needed repaired .Well when I got there to look,there was no issue of the sort! They went from being a ligit shop to being just another shop that rips people off!!! Do not go to consumer tire of Chardon!

Very unfair treatment at Consumer Tire Chardon. I bought a set of Hercules tires for my horse trainer from Consumer Tire. Within a year the tires were cracked from sunlight exposure. Consumer refused to address the issue. After contacting Hercules Tire directly, Hercules Tire replaced the tires under warranty. Consumer Tire charged me full price to change the tires. A female owner refused to even discuss a discount on the re-mount. The tires were bad, not my fault. No help whatsoever from Consumer Tire. She said "pay and go away".
