I wish I could give 0 stars. Upon arrival, I must have accidentally booked a smoking room. There were no non smoking rooms available to accommodate us, so we decided to stay. With the upcoming eclipse, there were no other hotels available nearby. Upon entry to our room, we got ready for bed and one of the beds had a yellow, moist ring throughout the bedding. Urine? I went to the customer service desk and was told they could transfer me to another smoking room. That room key would not work, so we were told we could return to the original room with new sheets. The worker accused us of making the bedding wet as one of my daughters had a squirt gun. I was shocked. He became rude and wouldn t speak to us. We thanked him for the new sheets, no reply or acknowledgement of us. The returning room key again would not work but he did fix it and opened the door for us. We thanked him , again he didn t even speak or acknowledge us! I changed the sheets and gave my kids the other bed. I am incredibly disappointed and wildly uncomfortable. The room (aside from the linens) is dirty. I am so upset as this cost us 140ish dollars. We are very far from home and have a volleyball tournament in the morning nearby, or I d go right home. Turn brightness up on the screen and zoom in, pictures attached.Rooms: Dirty. Do not stay.

We always stayed here since 2014 and are room was nice and the beds comfortable. Most be there was new owners in 2023 because are room was dark and eerie. Opened refrigerator and found bugs in it. And it was set in a rickety old stand. To say the least I will pay more for a better adventur. Also you couldn't shut the bath room door because the toilet was right next to the wall and the door would hit it.Food & drinks: It was ok

This is the single most dingy place I have ever been to. The entire place had a smell to it to include the room and office. the hot tub room 103 had furniture falling apart and after being in there briefly I found bugs in there. spent less than 2 hours there from check in to checkout. if there are no other options sleep in your car rather than giving this place your money.

Room 107 spelled highly of chemicals, like they were trying to cover something up. So bad I was getting migraine, and felt sick, I had to leave the room and go to my car due to feeling ill. They did offer us another room but it too smelled but this time it was heavy smell of smoke. Extremely disappointing as we we re having amazing evening before this point. We will never stay here again. I even woke with a headache. If you are non smoker I advise find some where else to stay. They gentlemen who was the service desk tried to apologize, but that wasn t changing the fact that the room smelled.

Gap is bottom of front door, no iron, lock broken, smoke detector, complementary drinking glasses had holes/ slices through protective plastic and zoom in on ice container to see crud built up in it, shower head (zoom in on it but beware) stains and cuts throughout ceiling, front door, cigarette burn holes on blanket, toilet seat chipped and seat was broken so it slid to the right when you sat down, light above toilet exposed which you could see wires and spider webs, chips off of paint on the walls, and the floor in room was sticky. Breakfast was horrible. Wouldn t recommend unless you have an in-law you want to shuffle away and forget

We were pleasantly surprised. I was a bit hesitant after reading some of the reviews of the hotel. Seems like It's getting harder to find a room with a decent jetted tub these days. We stayed in room 103, which is a king with jetted tub. It did take the tub a bit to fill but there was plenty enough hot water to fill it for two and it was one of the quieter tubs I've seen. Their were a few cobwebs but the room was overall pretty clean and the a/c worked great. Looked like they had recently remodeled. We will definitely be repeat customers.

Been here multiple times when I visit from out of state for longer stays but this last stay was my least favorite experience. Normally I have a good time but the shower heads look super rusty. Bugs coming out of drains.stains in the sheets on my first day so ir requested new ones. Although it's pretty cheap for like a weeks stay it's not super bad . The rooms are pretty spacious compared to some other places I've stayed. Since I've only had one bad experience out of the 7 times I've been there ill give them 4 stars.

I was pleasantly surprised with the room. Clean, comfortable and adequate. If I was to knit pick, I would say the towels and washcloths were a bit rough, but other than that, pretty good. Good cable TV as well. Breakfast was sparse but standard for this class of motel. Staff was friendly and obliging.

Stayed there March 16 and 17, 2017. We were very impressed by the staff and the room. It was clean and fresh with a beautiful lake view. There was a frig and microwave. Staff went out of their way to make our stay pleasant. We will definitely be returning to this motel.

I picked this location as it was across the street from Celina Eagle's which is where my friend's wedding reception was. The room was very clean and had nice hardwood floors. We got a king smoking room and the room actually smelled very nice and there were no burn holes anywhere. We had an issue with our room key after receiving it but staff helped promptly. We did not eat breakfast so I can't comment on that. One weird thing is that the shampoo container and pen in the room were sticky.

The room was good sized and clean. I was able sleep well and the dining area in the room was a nice addition. The breakfast was little sparce but still enough to get us up and going in the morning. The view was unbeatable when the sun came out as we were leaving Sunday morning.

Out of town on work, stayed at this place. Rooms were a little shabby but nothing horrible. Nicks in the walls, stained towels, oh and our toilet was clogged before we even got to the room... At least the view of the lake on the second floor was cool. The best part about this place is the Chinese Buffet right across the back parking lot.

The room was clean and comfortable. Refrigerator, Microwave, Coffee maker were provided. Staff was friendly and helpful. The A/C was too noisy was the only drawback, but seemed to be a problem only in our room. Otherwise very nice for budget accommodations.

We got a king size bed in an open concept room. It was a little wierd, as the bathroom consisted of just a toilet and bathtub/shower. The bathroom sink was in an annexed part of the main room. It had a wall mounted iron and hair dryer, and in the far annexed corner there was a small desk sized table with a big computer chair. Everything was nice and clean. It had an entertainment center opposite of the bed with wall mounted 40 inch tv, and waist high fridge. It's good for travel, and I'm sure they have different types of rooms I'm hoping for families. If what I'm describing is what you are looking for than you wont be disappointed. The "continental breakfast" could be easily outmatched by spending $5 at any breakfast serving fast food chain. But it is called America's best VALUE. In celina, it's best to spend your money touring the area rather than your lodging anyway. The view of the lake was pretty, and since it was just me and my wife, it's all we needed. Hope this helps.

Clean but Older hotel that needs a little attention. No smoking room smelled heavily of smoke. Desk staff very friendly and helpful. Popcorn ceiling looks bad from wet spots, sheetrock in backroom cracked at seam. Dust covers clothes rack and iron from not being used and microwave was dirty though I didn't use it. Little details keep it from a five star review.

Not too bad of rooms for the price you pay. When reserving a room requested one with a balcony and on the lake front side with a room rate of $79.00 posted online. When we got there had a room on the back side of hotel with a great view of a parking lot. The rates were $99.00 and up. When checking out, the rate was fixed by a more knowledgeable person.

Clean room, reasonable price. Very spacious, and being able to smoke in the room is a plus for me. Will definitely recommend and return.

I loved this location across the street from Grand Lake St Marys. It was a beautiful view from my room and very quiet and peaceful. The manager exceeded in customer service with a smile. He helped me with a few things I needed, like taking my ice packs and putting them in the freezer for me and checking my tv because I couldn't figure out how to make it work. There is an Fraternal Order of Eagles club across the street on the lake that had a band and a restaurant. You must be a member to enter the club. There is also a Moose Club next to them. If I was in the area for anything, I would stay at the Americas Best Value Inn Celina.Rooms: The room was great. There was no carpet in my king room. I just loved the little mini Dove Soaps.Safety: I felt very safe.Walkability: You can walk across the street to admire the Lake. There are locations for food and drinks across the street, but you must be a member in order to enter. There was a restaurant up the street, not sure if you can walk to it or not.

Incredibly "meh" and not a good value. The rooms, service, and amenities are no better than a Motel 6, but almost double the price. The service from staff and housekeeping is pretty poor/minimal. Our bed wasn't made due to "personal belongings" on it (a pajama shirt) but housekeeping moved/threw away other items and left cleaning supplies laying around our room.

The hotel stay was really friendly. This place is not luxury resort but it got the job done. Clean room and bathroom, the AC and TV worked fine. Very easy access to the lake too.

Room was proper and clean. Front office staff was pleasant and informative. We're staying here to watch The World of Outlaws at Eldora Speedway and we've stayed here for the past 10 years and have never stayed at a different hotel.
