We had a problem with our car. We took it for a diagnostic check. Andy and Chris not only found the problem, and fixed it, but also went above and beyond and found out that our car needed an update. He called Honda to double check and found that was correct. Honda is the only one that can update that. We will always be taking our cars back to Wise Auto Care to be worked on. Great place also because they are friendly, caring and explain everything to you about your car's repair. Kudos to them.

The owner, Andy Wise, is an American's American; self made small businessman, family man in the best sense ; he, his wife, and both kids all work @ Wise Auto. He is a veteran, an Army Ranger who served multiple tours in the Middle East and served in Panama. He has respect for everyone and shows it by giving discounts to veterans and senior citizens. The guy only hunts for food. He mows loans in the summer to make extra family cash. I spoke with Andy for a couple hours and I never heard a bad word about anyone. He's friendly, accommodating, hardworking, and he even gets off on making intricate Halloween experiences for the kids! So if you're needing auto, motor bike, go-cart work, you name it, check out Wise Auto Care. You might want to use your GPS to get there.

PLEASE do not go to wise auto care, if I could give zero stars I would. Andy may have been in the business for 30 years but he is exactly what you should stay away from. I approved diagnosis ONLY($78) for a concern I had. After 2 and a half weeks of no calls from him I checked in on a Thursday morning. He said I think we have the problem fixed, I will call you later today to see if I can get this covered by the warranty. After not hearing from him I called back the next day to find out it s not covered, which is fine. He tells me my total will be ($170), more than double the diagnosis quote and that sometimes it requires more diagnosis to figure out a problem . When I had an objection to the added cost with no additional approval he told me if you don t pick up your unit in 2 weeks I will sell it to recuperate my costs . I have no issues with further diagnosis, but he never called me to see if I wanted to do the work. I spent 170 dollars to fix a 250 dollar leaf blower. Although this is not a lot of money, I hope I can save someone in the future the trouble of wasting thousands of dollars on repairs that were done to diagnosis the problem . STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE, Andy is a cheat, a bully and explains why he can t keep any technicians working for him.Services: Carburetor cleaning, General repairs & maintenance

Their customer service, pricing, and quality of repairs are top notch. They completed brake repairs, tire replacement, alignment, and fog lamp repair. Complete a full vehicle inspection to ensure no other issues exist and communicate progress along the way. This morning I was on my way to work and my suv just quit running. I tried several times to get it started without any luck. I got on my insurance app and requested a tow to my house. Andy and his son arrived and put my suv on their row back, helped me in the truck and were very nice and courteous!! When we reached my house he said if my husband was unable to fix it to let him know and he would come and get it and get it fixed. I was very grateful for his caring, instead of just dropping my suv and leaving he actually talked and gave me options. This kind of service is not very common now a days!!! Just wanted to let them know they are appreciated!!! I will recommend to anyone needing service.

As an over the road truck driver, my silverado was broke down during last home time. After my warranty contacted wise auto care, Andy was top notch! He let me know when he got my silverado and when he dropped it off at the repair shop. He went above and beyond for me. I have my spare tire on the truck and i forgot i left the other flat tire with the rim in the bed (someone had previously slashed my tire) and after he got another call close to where he dropped my truck off, he went back to where my truck was and picked up the tire and rim and took it with him to the shop for no extra charge and said he would give me a deal on a tire so i don't have to keep the spare on it. Awesome guy and awesome business! He did all this while i was over 1,000 miles away in Utah. My truck had battery draw issues and after it took a good minute to figure out where it came from, Andy along with his son cj fixed it and my truck has been great ever since. He even went above and beyond and helped re hook up some green lights on my truck and fixed a scratch on the side out of the kindness of his heart. There is no better place to go than the wise guy!

I would give Wise Auto Care my highest rating. They have done some extensive work on four of my cars and have done a great job on all of them. I trust them to properly diagnose problems, troubleshoot possible future difficulties, and professionally fix them the first time. Once they have worked on my cars the problems are completely repaired and I have not had to return. He tries hard to keep the price down as well. All I can say for sure is that my old (200,000 miles +) cars are running great thanks to Andy at Wise Auto Care.

Had them swap a set of wheels for me on an f150. Did a great job, in a timely manner, at a good price. Even let me know what he torqued my wheels to which is important. If down that way again i would definitely let them work on my truck.

Andy Wise has been my auto and mower repair man for 10+ years since moving to Carroll. He is a very honest, hard working, and down to earth guy. He will not only repair but teach you how to maintain your vehicles and mowers longer. *** update to last review**966$ was a tough pill to swallow, but it was very fair for the amount of work done. I do truly believe that Andy went above and beyond to discount and save us as much as he could but it was still very fair pricing. Work was extensive and was completed nearly exactly when promised. Will defenitly return to have the other suggested work done, but Andy got my wifes vehicle back on the road and safe again. Thank for the quick tow from the road and for the work done. Please consider using Andy as a local repair shop before the big national chains. I have worked for 2 of the biggest and i guarantee the pricing would be near double for the amount od work done. Andy and his team have been local in carroll for a long time, please visit your local shops before the big chains. Went to Wise to have a set of new tires put on my truck. I bought the truck brand new 5 years ago and had done all of the small maintenance myself since then. I live a couple miles away and thought this would be a good chance to try them out. I did not like the Original tires the truck came with and he recommended some good A/T tires for much cheaper and will get just as many miles as the original, I've had them for a month now and am very impressed. He also did some preventative maintenance on a few things he discovered and charged very little for that as well. Overall was extremely impressed and will definitely be going back.

I ve known Andy for many years. He runs the most professional business I ve ever seen. He has done repairs on all our family cars including my motorcycle, snow plow and mower. In addition to doing the repairs I ve seen how he interacts with his employees. They are family to him and that is the type of organization you want taking care of you. He knows immediately what the problem is. Fixes only what is needed and is more than fair as far as price. Always stands behind all work. There is so much more than just having your car fixed. Its trust in knowing you were treated fairly and the job is done right. It s sad that I have to mention all there types of characteristics for a business and the man running it but they are hard to find today.
