Very helpful, patient, and friendly staff. I went there with my 5 year old and, after asking me first, they offered him a lollipop. I also needed my wife's ssn and I couldn't get a hold of her and they patiently waited until I did always being friendly with me and my son.

Everyone is so helpful and nice. I haven't had a bad experience in years coming in here. Friendly, professional staff who are very patient and courteous. They always have me in and out quickly.

Place was almost full when I arrived. I almost turned around and left, but I put my name and phone number on the little screen, and not 10 mins later, I was being called up! Ladies there were super helpful and very friendly! When I lived in wv, I hated going to the dmv. Now, at least, I'm not dreading having to go back Monday

Very disappointed my gf was trying to take her driving test and the online appointment thing wasn't working so I ask the workers for help and they were very rude and wouldn't help us figure out how to take driving test.

The chairs aren't that great, but they move people along as quick as possible, and their employees are nice people!

The driving instructor was super nice and made me feel less nervous overall great experience the test was 10 minutes long it was easy

Don't have your teenager take their driver's test there........there is a tree branch obstructing a stop sign (4 ft or so from the sign) (completely blocked as you approach- ) along the course they take.... If you're not from there, you won't know it's there... (I, myself would have ran it that stop sign even going under the speed limit) I think they leave it like that purposefully so kids have to pay the state for further education- so now my son has to pay for extra documented state sponsored classes,,,,,even though he passed the rest of the test with flying colors,,,,,and retake the test after classes- ridiculous!

I drove by 2 weekends ago to renew my D. licence and Tag...what I saw was a lobby that was slam packed , no seats available...and AT LEAST 8-10 people standing in a line outside....IN THE RAIN!? That is ridiculous to say the least. Needless to say, I made the drive to barnesville....as soon as I opened the door the lady stood up and said I can take you here... New drivers license and sticker for plates....I was in AND out in 10 minutes..THAT IS HOW DHOULD BE FONE

The amount of hassel a human has to go through with this place is astonishing! Everyone hates going here and dealing with the extra stress. Ohio needs kiosks like West Virginia. Would be sooo much easier for people who cant make it there on time due to work..

The staff is friendly and courteous, and it is not their fault, but the government decided hours of operation make it nearly impossible for anybody who works to get anything done. Both this place and the local title office are only open for 4 hours on Saturday which means that transferring a title and then putting plates on the vehicle in one day is not possible with the given wait times.The government wants me to work, but will not provide government services at a time where the working man can access them. Would be far better to be closed on a random day during the week, and then open for a full 8-hour work day on Saturday.I am now forced to drive an unplated truck for 4 days this week until I can give up half of my Saturday to wait in line here again. Wonderful. I'm only awarding one star because zero is not possible.

I have macular degeneration and can not drive anymore and I walk with a walker. Needless to say I was at the DMV in Bridgeport Ohio to surrender my license and get an ID. Those ladies that work there are the nicest women I have seen in one place for a long time. Angela registered me in and she is just delightful. She was so kind to me. Thank you Angela and to Tracy who also helped me accomplish my mission . A wonderful experience for me!

Very rude and not very helpful. Called and asked on pricing for new plates and got charged almost double when I got there. Lady said if I was going to complain that she wasn't going to take care of me and no one else would either. All I did was quote what they told me on the phone. Need another office with friendlier people.

Going to the BMV is usually comparable to going to a dental appointment. My Bridgeport BMV experience proved that is not the case at all. We had lots of paperwork to do since we are moving. Annette (you are awesome!!) was knowledgeable and efficient and helped us through the whole process without a problem. I loved the sense of camaraderie between the staff, and the injection of a little humor into the whole process was certainly welcomed. Thanks again for your help Annette! Keep up the good work Bridgeport BMV!

Overall the wait times here are fairly short, even when the place is busy. Compared to DMVs I've been to in other states, this one is very quick. It is a royal pain however that you can't get title and tags done in the same place. You have to get a VIN inspection (with the car physically present) here, then go the title office in St. Clairsville to get a title, then come back here to get tags. Pretty stupid, and a waste of time and gas.

I've been going here for years and never had any issues. The only bad experiences I've seen is when people don't have everything they need. My advice is if you're not sure, call ahead to check what you need. It is busy a lot also. Just like any other license bureau.

The employees are so rude. I cannot believe how I ve heard a few of them speak to customers. And NOT kid friendly at all. I will go to Barnesville next time.

This location made it so complicated for me to just switch my drivers license from state to state. On top of that they dont do title transfers I had to go to another place and then come back to do my tags. Absolutely ridiculous.
