This shop is pretty dang awesome, the owner knows how to treat people and is willing to help you buy the items you need and not unnecessary items and waste money. Solid shop all the way around.

Traveling with a friend for work and started having acceleration and noise issues in her Ford about a half hour north of the shop. Debating between getting raked by a dealership or getting the work done quickly, we called Hartman. Daniel got us right in and diagnosed the blown turbo (recently replaced by Ford). Had a new one on hand and had us back on the road in about two hours. He even offered us his own vehicle if we needed to grab some lunch. Ford wanted us to pay for towing to Lima and then wait almost 6 days for the dealer to do it...and it likely would have been a remanufactured part. Daniel is a sincerely nice guy and very knowledgeable. The other guys in the shop were also friendly and diligent about their own tasks. I was very impressed at the level of cleanliness in the service bays. I would have a hard time trusting a guy who doesn't care for his own workspace and tools, and this shop was amazing-even the floors. I wouldn't hesitate to send my husband there (from Northern Michigan) with his 97 Cummins for any serious work. It would be worth the trip for the peace of mind and confidence in their work. I hope the community knows what a tremendous asset they have right in their backyard.

I'm buying a truck. My first diesel! These guys got me in for a pre buy inspection on pretty short notice. I believe they did a great job checking over the vehicle and told me what needed to be done with it and that the truck was solid, well taken care of. Wish they had an inspection sheet for them to hand me but they did answer all post emails. Also wish they put on lift where I could see but all lifts were full. Thanks guys!

Best place to take your diesel to. Spectacular customer service. Honest work and reasonable prices. Daniel insures that you re truck is done right and he doesn t make you wait if he can help it. I will be returning for more upgrades

Really knows his stuff! After a Dodge dealer ruined our truck by installing a new computer in it I brought it to Hartmans. All my questions were answered and he knew what problems I was having before I mentioned them! He installed new tuning in engine and transmission...although I haven't gotten to drive the truck yet my wife is very happy with it! Also, he was about $300 under his estimate.

Beautiful shop he takes care of his equipment and everything he so clean the best work I ve had done ever he bent over backwards to help me and make sure I was back on the road in no time I totally recommend going here it was the best experience I ve had in a while!!

Took our F550 there for an oil leak. Their team diagnosed the problem and fixed the next day. We definitely will be talking our diesel engine work to Hartmans in the future. Thanks guys!
