Mr. Deichler personally stayed after closing to assure that I would get my vehicle back on time. His attention to detail when aligning my pickup was second to none, let alone the struggle he went through mounting large 4x4 tires on oversize rims. I hired these guys to work on my RV. Was put on a 2 week waiting list which i understand...simple brake work and some diagnostic on engine.....almost 3 weekslater still no brake repair...reps were polite but but adamant that they were short handed..i went there 5 times and finally decided to just take vehicle back home..very disappointed..terrible communication...bizarreNorm knows exactly who I am..please sir

My car didn't pass emissions check so off to Deichler's. The repair was more involved than originally thought, but I was kept apprised of the progress every step of the way. My car is now safe to drive, was repaired quickly considering what needed to be done. I appreciated the thoroughness and care that was taken. Although I did not have a previous relationship with Deichler's, they came to my rescue and resolved my car's issues, late on a Friday afternoon before a holiday weekend. Friendly, efficient and reasonably priced. I will definitely return!

Thank you Steve and the team at Deichler s Auto &Tire Repair for helping my son and his 2008 Pathfinder. After a 5hr drive the Pathfinder started driving heavy and we were worried about the 5hr drive home. We are not from Oberlin and have never been to Deichler s Auto & Tire Repair. They fit my son in Friday afternoon and after making a small repair they made sure the car was ok and safe to drive. Everyone at Deichler s has been so kind to me. I am a college student and dealing with my car troubles has always stressed me out especially since I don t know much about cars but I have had nothing but good experience here. They were especially kind when I had a short notice issue two days before I had to drive home. Norm has even picked me up when I was unable to find transportation to the shop. I can t recommend them enough!

I took my car up there about 8 months ago my car was stalling and he said he fixed it and some other stuff then a few weeks ago it did it again took it back up there he said he fixed it the a radiator hose busted and I had to have it towed I'm on a. Monthly income and he took advantage of us he didn't even listen to me I told him the AC was drawing to much power and making it stall and my friend disconnected it so it wouldn't he never looked to see why he just guessed all together it cost me 965$ but I got tires ect. But he didn't fix the stalling problem so now I'm paying ford 1700 to fix it right it was the AC clutch and my water pump leaking he didn't see that I think he should refund the 50$ that he charged be it wasn't the right thing that needed fixed and the tow fee of 165 because that's not right to take advantage of a disabled person but sadly I'm probably gonna have to take him to small clams court dont ever go here!!!!Services: Tires, Auto engine tuning, Tire rotations, Wheel alignment, Brakes, Wiper blade installation

I was referred here be a woman they helped with her car. They really could have cheated her easily with the car issues she had... They did NOT. They took care of her & had her on her way quickly & I thought very reasonably. So then I referred a friend who's car I had to give a jump to. They treated her the same & did not try to over-repair/replace. I've had my two different vehicles in & was happy with their work & will use them again. Seems to be a good, honest shop.

Huge shout out to this fine business! I ran over something in the one place in my expensive pickup tire that had already been patched so it was not repairable. I'm from out of town, so easily taken advantage of in that regard, and also unlikely to be a repeat customer. Instead of making me buy a new replacement tire, they were willing to drive AN HOUR to their other store to get a used tire to save me money. They did not even charge me for their time and gas to get it and only $50 for the tire and just $10 to mount and balance it. $5 disposal fee and tax and I was out of there and back on the road for $70. They even helped me put my spare back up under the truck when all was said and done. It is awesome to find these kind of people and know they are still out there helping people instead of taking advantage of them. Truly warmed my heart what they did for me. And the used tire they put in had more treadlife remaining than the tire it replaced (maybe 7 mm). Kudos! And thank you.

I've had a Toyota Avalon and 2005 Highlander serviced here since I moved to Oberlin a few years ago. At this point I've traded in the Avalon, and given the Highlander to an Oberlin Conservatory student. I've been so impressed with their service that I have the now graduate drive in from Cleveland twice a year to have Deichler's change the oil and look the car over to perform any preventive maintenance they feel the car needs. They've kept the car running perfectly with no failures in between visits.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Oil change

Deichler's is a trustworthy business. I do most of my own work on my vehicles, but if it is something I don't have time to repair or it is a big job I let them do it. Their prices are reasonable and Norm is great to deal with.

I use federated parts in my car and they also use them here. Well, my buddy recommended this place to have my front right bearing replace. They did it at a reasonable price, but when they took my car for a test drive, something was still rubbing. A guy looked at it and told me "it was probably metal shavings from my brake pads". So, I took it home..the sound got worse, went back and they took my caliper apart and said "your brake pad is loose" it is a federated part, not worn out. I learned the part has to be defective and they should have replaced it there..but, they sent me on my way again. Never going back again!

Had new tires installed and an alignment done in about an hour.Great friendly service at a great price.I will definitely be returning for tires for my wife s car.

Had a CE code pop up while I was on vacation halfway across the country. They were glad to look at it and topped up my air and fluids for no cost! Highly recommend these gentlemen!

I had leaking tires for a couple of years went back and forth to tires companies to have fix but instead had new tires put in. Did not help at all that the tires were still leaking out air. Went to Deichlers Auto and Tire Works and boom! They fixed my problem just like that! No more air leakage out from the tires at all! Thank you for you help and services.
