If you are reading this review, you probably want to know how good the vehicle's are, (just like I did).The Subaru Outback I purchased was immaculate, from the engine, the way it drives (straight and true), the interior, and all the way to the engine bay. It looked and drove like a brand new car.My first drive in the Outback was from Ohio to home a 1,500 mile drive. The Outback drove like a dream and has continued to drive as smooth as I hoped. I have currently driven 7,500 miles with zero issues. But just in case I purchased the additional service contract to give me peace of mind.Shawn answered all questions and provided extra pics and videos. Shawn is straight forward, easy to work and deal with. He feels like a friend you can reach out to and ask him any questions. Because of the price, Shawn, and how pristine the Outback was, I steered my daughter to purchase her vehicle (Crosstrek) from Shawn. The Crosstrek was even more spotless.We are both happy owners.With the price and service it is a no brainer for me to purchase my next vehicle from Shawn at Melnik's.@Shawn, looking for that sporty AWD vehicle.

I did a ton of research looking for a used Honda Odyssey. I was unsure if I was willing to buy a rebuilt/salvaged title. I came across Melniks in my searches and found that they had about 10 honda odyssey s on their lot at the time that were all close to what I was looking for. Shawn was easy to work with and flexible on me coming to see them later on a Saturday. Shawn and George helped me out when I came down. All the vehicles looked great. I test drove two and ended up buying one of them. The buying process was easy and not pushy at all. All of the repairs look good. I was happy that the van came with a 30 day bumper to bumper warranty and a 90 day power train warranty. Some other salvage title dealers don t offer anything for free. I have had the van about a month now and have put 1,000 miles on it and have had no issues. I would definitely reccomend Melnik s Automotive and will consider them in the future for another vehicle purchase.

A+ Customer service.We were searching for a low mileage Honda Odyssey to purchase for our family van. We went to a dealership and got the run around with pressure to just buy a new 2024 out of our budget. Someone suggested Melniks. I made an appointment for the next morning. There were many to choose from on the website. I met with Shawn, he was prompt and explained all the ins and outs of the vans I was interested in. I had a list of questions because I was very skeptical of buying a "rebuilt title" or a "previously in an accident" vehicle. Shawn was very familiar with the vans on the lot. What I liked best about my appointment with Shawn was how low pressure he was. He wasn't pushing me to buy the more expensive van that I originally came into buy, he was more than happy to show me all the models he had. I made an appointment to come back in a few days to purchase the one I thought I wanted. We checked it on Carfax, everything checked out as described online and by Shawn. My husband returned with me, Shawn had the paperwork ready for us to sign. Buying the van only took thirty minutes. Shawn was organized and accommodating.I also had no problem getting full coverage insurance on the van.I can see us purchasing a second van and beyond from Melniks.We love our new van.Thanks for making this experience more than amazing.

I purchased a 2022 Honda Pilot SE from Melnik's about 7 months ago and this SUV has been rock solid! I have had zero issues with it and I absolutely love the vehicle. I can say with confidence I would recommend this dealership to anyone! I heard about Melnik's thru a good friend of mine that had purchased several cars from them and said I should check them out. So.... when it came time for me to look at purchasing a new vehicle I went and gave them a visit and am so glad I did. I appreciate that there was no pressure or games from them while visiting their lot or showing interest in vehicles. George and Shawn are the best! They are hard working down to earth guys that are masters at what they do. More importantly they personify honesty and integrity! They provide great vehicles, at a great value, with great service! If I could give them more than 5 stars I would! I will definitely be back!

Just recently completed purchase of an absolutely stunning SUV. Repairs are so perfect- the car looks as if it just rolled out of the showroom. The car drives and runs beautifully. Again, just as if it had come out of the factory yesterday.Working with The crew at Melnick's was equally awesome. We are in Cincinnati, and so essentially drove up to buy the car sight unseen. George stayed over late to accommodate this for us.We have been purchasing rebuilt salvage vehicles for quite some time now, and this was far and away the best experience in terms of quality, value, and service. The fact that Melnik's guarantees the cars that they repair with a warranty speaks for itself. I would not hesitate to send any of my friends or family to purchase a vehicle here, and I will definitely return in a few years when it is time for me to replace this vehicle.

I got my second Accura from Melnik s Automotive within the last couple of years! Both were delivered from Ohio to Connecticut within half a day. It all depends on the delivery services you will have to hire yourself. There are plenty of them.This Dealership does a great job! Both cars were in excellent condition!

Paula DancieI was told about Melnik s Automotive by my daughter, who purchased a 2021 Acura RDX around March of 2023. I told her I didn t need a car. I was happy with my 2013 Subaru Legacy. That was until the transmission went out a couple months later. I need my car. I rented a car and gave myself a week to find another one. I checked out the inventory Melnik s had and decided to purchase a similar Acura RDX my daughter purchased. It s a beautiful car! I was hesitant when I saw that the car was a salvage title. I went to look at it anyway. When I arrived in Berea, George Melnik met me and let me check the car out. He also taught me a lot about salvage titles and how the pre-owned market works. I told him my daughter is very pleased with her purchase, so if she raves about you, then that s good enough for me. George was very courteous, informative, accommodating and transparent in dealing with me. I would absolutely recommend Melnik s Automotive if you re interested in a premium car without paying the premium price. I also want to thank Sean (I hope I spelled your name right) for sorting out the paperwork. He took time out of Mother s Day weekend while his mom was visiting from out of town and brought her with him to close the sale for me! The Melnik s team is dedicated to pleasing the customer.So far, I have gotten used to driving my new SUV and love the color, style, interior and how it accelerates. I have always had my eyes on an RDX and now I have one. Thank-you so much George.

I bought an Acura RDX from Melnik's. They were great to work with right from the beginning. Told me right away that it was had been wrecked and showed me pics before it was fixed. Because I bought it in Feb, I didn't notice the AC didn't work right until later. They fixed it without question and were great about it, and let me know if I had any other issues to let them know. I would recommend then highly. Wonderful to work with.

I truly wish I could give these guys more than 5 stars. From the very beginning, they went above and beyond to help me feel comfortable buying my first adult car. Daniel was very accommodating, allowing my boyfriend to come test drive the car for me (we re from PA but he works out of state occasionally) and then allowing me to test the car myself the next day. I fell in love with the car and decided to buy it that day. With this being my first adult car AND being out of state, my purchase process was a little different, but Melnik s was very kind and patient with me while I figured everything out. Daniel made himself available to answer my countless texts/calls and was happy to help explain the purchasing process to me. Three months later, I still have no regrets on purchasing my 2019 Subaru Crosstrek from Melnik s. If you re looking for a great vehicle at a fair price from a very reputable company, look no further. These guys are definitely the best in Ohio!

Perhaps my experience will help you, if (like I did) you are wondering about purchasing a rebuilt car/SUV/truck from George and Shawn at Melnik s Automotive. I purchased a 2018 Nissan Pathfinder recently and at after about 3 weeks began to have transmission problems. The response from Shawn and George was immediate. George stayed in close contact as we discussed possible problems and solutions. As I live about 250 miles away, driving it back to the Cleveland area was not really an option. George had me get the Pathfinder to a Nissan dealer where we had a diagnosis, and he instructed them to replace a valve body in the CVT.At only 19,000 miles it should never have failed, and upon research I found out there was a class action suit against Nissan for this very problem. Unfortunately, because this was a totaled and rebuilt vehicle, the extended Nissan warranty did not apply. This failure had nothing to do with the rebuild of the vehicle all damage had been cosmetic. It really was no fault of George and his work, yet it had to be repaired and it was quite expensive. George directed the dealer to do the work and he paid for it all.I ve never been treated better from the initial phone call, to driving up to purchase the vehicle, to getting the transmission fixed. I ve said for years that you ll show me your values when it costs you something and George demonstrated that loud and clear. I would not hesitate whatsoever to recommend them to family, friends or whomever. No one wants a problem, but in the problem their commitment to their customers was clearly demonstrated. Great work - the Pathfinder looked and drove like a new vehicle, great people, fantastic follow-up and care, what more could you want? You can bet that if I am ever in the market for another vehicle they will get my business.

Great buying experience. Honest and easy to work with. Allowed us to take the vehicle of our choice to our own body shop an hour away. Our service man gave them high praise on the repairs that were done on the van and a on the purchase. Shaun answered all our questions and even explained their business model with a quick virtual tour of their repair facility. Would recommend you check them out if you want a low mileage late model vehicle you can afford!

We had a fleet vehicle in the past and recently changed jobs and were in desperate need of a great commuter car. We are fond of Acura and Honda cars and trucks and found Melnik s.We are in Denver and we had all the hesitations anybody from hundreds of miles away would have. These cars have been in wrecks previously, they claim they are updated with OEM parts.I spoke with George and Shawn a number of times and they were nothing but upfront and honest with me. I called my local acura dealer about the damage and if its realistic that these cars could last and he confirmed.Melnik s offered me a warranty so with that I took the leap of faith and made a down payment and bought a one way ticket to Cleveland. Shawn picked me up at the airport and we test drove the car. The car ran great and couldve been picked off any showroom in the States.The car ran great on 1,300 mile drive home and had 160 point inspection. The car passed with flying colors and it is covered under the manufacturer warranty.Would highly recommend taking a second loom at Melnik s even if it seems to good to be true.

I had such a great experience getting my new Honda Pilot from Melnik's Automotive. It was a rebuilt title. I was a little nervous about getting it at first. But George was very transaparent about the vehicle and confident in his repairs. He was very knowledgeable and guided us through the whole process. I put several thousand miles on it and haven't had any issues. I would definitely recommend Melniks Automotive to my friends and family.

Melniks has been awesome to buy from! We just bought 2 rebuilt title vehicles from them last week. The process of trading in and buying was very easy and Shawn was great to work with. I loved that they were not pushy at all as most places can be. I did have a dead battery a few days after getting my truck and they sent me to autozone to get a brand new one covered on them in their warranty! (Same thing happened to my Mazda and the dealer told me tough luck). Overall the experience was great! We will definitely continue to use them and send people their way!!

I've purchased two vehicles from them, and it was honestly the quickest, easiest purchase for a vehicle I have ever done. George does very good and quality work with the cars and are priced very reasonably compared to other dealers that aren't always the most honest. As far as honestly is concerned, Melnik automotive should receive a 10/5 rating if it were possible. Sean and George are both very professional and put customers first when it comes to selling their vehicles. If you are someone who is perhaps even coming from out of state to check out a car here, you won't be disappointed. George also is very punctual and demonstrates a great deal of knowledge to the vehicles they sell. If you are looking for a Honda or Acura in particular and a amazing price, then Melnik Auto is where you should go.

Melnik s deserves a 5+ rating. I was so impressed by both the exceptional condition of the car, a Subaru Impreza, and the outstanding service. Shawn made the whole purchase process so easy and was very helpful in resolving a couple of issues very quickly and efficiently. In all communications he was honest and trustworthy. I highly recommend Melnik s.

I recently bought a 2019 Honda Odyssey from Melniks, driving 5 hours from NYS to do the purchase. Shawn was helpful throughout the transaction, accurately described the vehicles s finish condition (he missed a telling me about a few bad scratches on the wheels, but lowered the price to compensate) and the company s guarantees and processes. I m not a mechanic, but at face value, the van appears to be fixed professionally. After two months, it s obvious that the AC doesn t create very cold air. However, upon contacting them, they made it clear that they will be willing to pay to get the system recharged. So far, I m satisfied with the purchase, and will consider doing business again.

My wife and I bought a Honda Odyssey. The price was extremely fair. They wouldn t let it leave the lot until a headlight was fixed (which we were not aware was broken). They programmed us a spare key for free which saved us several hundred dollars compared to taking it to the dealership. We had one minor issue with the AC not running when the car was stopped. Fixed it with no questions asked. The owner, George, said we just need it to be right for you. This place is amazing and all the people involved have high character and are very honest. I would definitely recommend them to anyone.

Strongly recommend Melnik's Automotive for a great deal on cars. We were so lucky they had the exact van we were looking for at the right time. Shawn was very accommodating meeting us on a Saturday evening and did not try to rush us and was more than happy to answer all of our questions. George was also easy to get ahold of and schedule a time to program a second key fob for FREE! Definitely give them a look if looking for a newer car.

We bought a Honda Odyssey from Melniks in November 2021. So far the van has ran like a top. No issues whatsoever. Shawn was great helping out with our purchase from start to finish. I would definitely recommend going to Melniks if you're looking for a heck of a deal and business owners who are up front and honest through the whole car buying process.

I recently bought a used 2017 Honda Pilot Touring from Dan and was very happy. He was flexible with my schedule and allowed (even encouraged) me to take it to another mechanic of my choice for inspection. He was very responsive to text/email/calls and communicated with my credit union well. The great deal and professionalism took a lot of the stress out of purchasing a vehicle. I would definitely do business with Melnik s Auto again!

Picked up our dream SUV yesterday from this amazing company; some of the most interesting and honest people I have ever met in the auto industry. A friend in our community strongly recommended them after purchasing 2 vehicles.After hiting a very large deer and totaling our CRV and looking at hundreds of SUVs at traditional dearlerships...I was stunned when noticing the amazing 5 star reviews, which are rare on google, especially with anything car related.We will be encouraging all our family and friends to buy their next car at Melniks.When asked by others about buying a vehicle with a salvage title?...the answer is twofold for me. 1. READ THE REVIEWS! 2. If you're worried about reselling it later, they said they will gladly repurchase it.By the way, if you do business there, you will learn about something you can't buy at any dealership anywhere!

My girlfriend bought a Rebuilt 2018 Subaru from George last year. We live 600 miles from the dealership, and George was more than happy to pick us up at the airport. From that point on we knew we were in good hands! we were able to go to the shop and look the car over from top to bottom. the attention to detail in the rebuild was awesome. It has been a great car for her. So when i saw the 2018 50th anniversary Crosstrek show up on the website a couple weeks ago, I knew I had to fly down and buy it. Once again, George picked me up at the airport in my car. The rebuilt car was all I had expected, as was the personal touch of a family run business! I drove the car back 600 miles to Michigan's Upper Peninsula feeling like I was in a new car. I would highly recommend Melnik's to anyone looking for a great used vehicle!! If i should need another one i will definitely be back.

I live in Indiana but came and purchased a 2019 MDX from Melniks (Ohio) because of 1st hand reports from a friend who bought a car; also from Melniks. I have not been disappointed. They have bent over backwards to correct a couple of small issues with the laser and fuel gauge. They sent me to a dealer and paid for the appropriate service. Their concern and care has earned them 5 stars in my book!!
