I'm an Insurance agent and I called Mooney's for an elderly customer with a dead key fob who was stuck. She called and said she was so happy with the service of Mooney's and he took such good care of her. He got to her so quickly and I'm very appreciative!! Will definitely recommend, thank you!

I can say I haven't had a problem yet with the starter repair done but in my opinion overly charged but then again I believe honestly if your not on a associate type at least know the place you getting charged for things not even wrongI'm a drywaller not a mechanic so gottttt me

Skilled and careful tow truck service I'd rely on for any make or model.I had a 2002 Celica with a complete body kit towed from a seller to my home, as the driver followed, I was surprised at how careful and patient his manner of loading, driving, and unloading was. He was able to carefully maneuver through tight spaces, and when getting the car on and off the deck/ramp, he was careful to not have the car scrape against anything. And even though I bought a used car for $800 that couldn't drive, he treated it with more care than many $80+k cars I've seen towed by other companies. I strongly recommend recommend this towing service for anyone in the Chagrin area.I might have to have my car towed to a mechanic for something I may not be able to fix, while unfortunate, I will be happy to give Mooney a call again.Service: Special vehicle towing

Fixed up my car great. Guys there were nice and helped explain me the issue and so far, it runs smooth. However, they could work on their communication. When I first called the number listed after my engine had problems in a lot, guy who answered said he was busy and offered to text an alternate number (Both greeted me saying they were Mooney's). Was weird but whatever. Found my own way back after they agreed to pick it up later and tow, but proceeded to never get any updates unless I called them first. Was paranoid if they even picked up my car. Thankfully they did, but I was told a few times I'd get a status update later that day or tomorrow, but never did. Not once they ever called me despite saying they would a few times. I think one time, somebody was frustrated wondering why I was calling. I'm a patient person but they gotta understand it's my only car and I don't really wanna be left constantly wondering what's going on, at least call and let me know they actually picked up the car lol. Normally I get calls back from my previous mechanic quickly what's going on and what they would do to fix it and an ETA, but I recently moved so that's why I went with them.Anyway, waited a few days when I again called, told me it was ready and to call back tomorrow after final testing. Did so, arrived later that evening, and the car worked smooth and they explained the problem. I'm hoping it was just bad luck with the communication, I recommend them otherwise. Price wasn't bad as I expected too. It did feel rather long for the repairs then what I'm used to but I'm not a mechanic so I'm not sure.

Last winter, I hit a patch of black ice and my car rolled into a ditch. Mr. Mooney came as soon as he could and got me out. Then I had to call him back again because after I got down the road, my tire pressure bottomed out. He came and put my donut on and took my tire with him to fix/clean. He was literally so nice and compassionate and I will always call this company if I ever need a tow again.

Abruptly ended up with a flat tire and just barely made it to a parking lot. Called a couple of towing companies who weren t readily available. I called Mooney & Sons and a tow truck arrived in less than an hour! They were also able to plug the tire for a temporary resolution (but I do recommend have a full service appointment at your location of choice after their quick fix). One of the employees was a little unprofessional, informing me that he had to go so he wasn t going to fix the tire, and Mr. Mooney had to continuously motivate him to work. Other than that, when I was in a bind, they were there.

Mooney and Sons towed my car off of private property while we were on vacation. The car was 4 days old and had less than 500 miles on it. They damaged the vehicle and dragged it across their lot. They have refused to pay for the damages. Claiming that they didn't do it. It is obvious the damage was theirs. It was a brand new vehicle and they did not know how to tow it without the keys to put it into neutral and they decided to drag it across the parking lot. Pictures attached and will be taken to court

absolutely livid with the company and the way the owner mike handled the situation with my vehicle. damage was done to my tire from the tow and now i'm being held liable for repairs. vehicle was drivable prior to pickup and now tire is unable to turn. very rude and unprofessional. will definitely hear from my attorney regarding this matterService: Car towing

Mooney & Sons took incredible care of me, my mom, and her car. I was driving my mother in for surgery and her car barely limped into town, engine misfiring. While she was in her pre-op appt, I spoke with Dennis and he got her car in the same day, helped us get to a restaurant for some lunch, and made sure we had a ride to check into our hotel. The car was fixed within a couple of hours and I can't recommend their services highly enough. They made sure we didn't have to worry about a thing, which was so important with a big surgery happening the next day. Thank you so much!!

Amazing service!!! Caught a flat tire, pulled off the express way to wait for my 3rd AAA assistant (in the 3 hrs I d been broken down) just to find this Shop next door to shell gas station. From the moment we pulled in these guys went right to work assessing our difficult situation. The youngest guy on the crew worked effortlessly to have us back on the road in under 30mins for a very reasonable price. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED and appreciated!Service: Tire change

Never calls back like they promise. Tells you one price over the phone and then gives you a higher one when you get there. Unprofessional and doesn t care about your business or time.

Dennis was so kind and helpful. Not only did he tow my vehicle, he fixed it as well. Everything was priced fairly and reasonably. This is an upstanding family owned business. I truly appreciate the service provided here at this establishment. They were busy when I called, but within 24 hours my car was fixed and safe in my driveway.

Great service! My car broke down about an hour from home and my roadside assistance couldn't find anyone to tow it this far with everything going on. My car was left overnight but Mike came and picked it up and brought it back. He was incredibly polite, friendly and patient. There was an issue with my insurance payment and we had to go back and forth with them several times. Long story short he still came through and was very kind and understanding with everything going on. Would definitely recommend! Thanks Mike!

This place saved me while I was traveling for work. I had my vehicle break down due to studs falling off and the tire shop across the street wanted $550 to replace the studs. I refused the service and they wouldn t let me have my vehicle back since it was Unsafe . They called Mooney for towing and Mooney towed it then fixed it for me for un $200 in the same day! Because of Mooney I was able to safely drive back home and I felt like they helped me out tremendously when another place down the street knew my situation and was trying to take advantage of me. Hands down would recommend Mooney to anyone!Service: Car towing

My roadside assistance contacted Mooney s Towing after I got a flat tire. I was connected with probably 4 other tow truck drivers prior to Mooney who all bailed on me. Mooney Towing took the job, and Michael was so kind to call and follow up with me. He called me several times to give me an estimated time of arrival. Once my car was brought to the dealer, he even called to let me know the vehicle was dropped off and the name of service technician the keys were given to. Thank you so much Mooney s Towing.

My gear shift cable broke and Garfield police called Mooney and Son's to tow my vehicle. I thought it would be cool since tbe police department recommended him. However, this proved to he false and was the start of a extra stressful night because after this man towed my van from the scene he took it to his shop on Chagrin and refused to tell me when he would take it to the shop I told him to tow it to. About midnight he got extra rude when I told him that I have never had a tow company not immediately tow where I requested nor wouldn't even give me a time that he would get it to the shop. He didn't tow it until 8am this morning to the location I told him to. When they dropped it off the shop told me that it took 20 minutes for them to park it and that they forgot to bring my keys. It took them almost 2 hours to bring them my vehicle keys. They literally kept my vehicle for 13 hours against my will, without my permission and at a location that I did not approve!! He then billed my insurance $216 to tow 25 miles!!! This man, Denny, and his company are the worse ever, very unprofessional and I would avoid them like the plague or COVID!!Service: Car towing

I called and 5 minutes later Mike was there. Thought my car was immovable with out the sensor, which i broke, he showed me a cool trick to shift my gears and didn't charge me a thing. Great customer service. I encourage you guys to use his services, he's an honest fair price guy. Thanks so much Mike.

It feels great to finally find a garage and towing company I can trust. After a recent breakdown I called Mooneys and they had a truck out to me faster then I had ever experienced after paying for towing under my insurance for years. The driver was personable and knowledgeable and had the repair done by the next morning for an exceptional price. Another experience completely opposite of those I have had with dealership mechanics in the past. Just thankful I was tipped in the right direction and didn t have to miss any work being without transportation.

Came to tow my car within 30 minutes. Then kept me informed of what needed fixed and I had it back by the next day. Reasonable towing and labor prices, and good communication, can't ask for more in an auto shop.

this was the worst tow service experience I have ever encountered. I called them and heard screaming kids in the background. I was told that the driver had to be located and I'd receive a call back. Mind you, all I needed was my battery jumped. He calls back and tells me his father has just returned and that it wasn't worth their time to help me that night. I was an exit away from their location! I was stranded, cold, and had to get help from a friend 4 cities over. The BBB will be informed of their shenanigans, a total lack of professionalism and care. Pure trash
