I was in a minor fender bender this past October (2023) and was referred to Rick's Body shop by my usual trusted mechanic. (Shout-out to Easterling Brothers in Norton!)When I first stopped at Rick's for the shop to check out the damage, he personally greeted me. I was expecting just a shop guy to pop out and assess and was met by Rick himself. He checked out the damage and was super helpful with explaining how the insurance coverage usually works. The other driver's insurance was taking care of it, but it was still a bit confusing for me since I haven't had to deal with that before or insurance companies in general and Rick basically talked me right through the process and what to expect. He told me if the amount the insurance company agreed to pay would need to be more during the repair, he would deal with it. I was able to drop my car off to Rick and he had it repaired in the exact amount of time he quoted. My car looks like nothing even ever happened to it. They do great work!So although being in the accident and having to deal with getting my car repaired was a major inconvenience, Rick definitely made the entire repair process super simple and easy and not overwhelming. If I ever need any other body work on a vehicle I would definitely take it back to Rick's.Thanks for being so helpful and walking me through the process, Rick!

Rick was very nice on the phone, he was very informative and even wish me a happy Easter. Even though, I didn t get any service there. I just passed the information along to my friends because he could ve just had me come in and tell me base pay is $70 but he gave me the real deal. He said it from 70 and up depending on the situation of the vehicle and I appreciate the honesty and that shows me he s a standup guy. He has a standup business, even though I did not go there in person, I felt the good vibes on the phone so y all looking for a place to have them look at your car check availability and ask questions. And by the way, I am a female I went to my dealership and they were able to assist me since I am under warranty, even though it doesn t cover that I just wanted to get a dealership my dealerships recommendations, look at it so I can have an idea what my next move was and I appreciate great customer service from both businesses.

If i could give zero stars i would. Very disappointed in the actions of this shop. They were very unprofessional. I gave them my car on a thursday, wanted them to just look at the front end and tell me what was causing the shake, and call me with a quote. They never called me back. I called them on the following tuesday to find out what is going on. Rick answered and i asked him about my car and he sounded confused about even having my car. He then tells me he was just setting up a quote for me and continues to tell me what he thought was wrong with my car. He named off everything he thought was wrong with my car and it was word for word exactly what i had told him earlier that i had already done to it to try and fix the issue. So obviously he was not telling me the truth. So to move on i decided to ask how much it would be to get my front bearing replaced and he said he would call me back with a quote. 3 more days go by and still i have heard nothing from Rick! So i had enough and set up an appointment with another shop. Went to pick up my car and to start things out, he had lost my car keys. Took him 5 minutes just to give me my keys. He then proceeded to give me (the customer) a guilt trip on why they hadn't done their job and why they hadn't even called me back to let me know what was going on with my vehicle! Also i asked them to absolutely 100% bleed the air from my ABS Module when i dropped it off to them. They didn't even do that! And when i finally got my keys and left, i tried to start my car and they left my car battery dead. So i couldn't even start my car to leave.I give this place a grade of an "F". For the poor service, failure to let the customer know a single thing that is going on with their vehicle, failure to do their job and guilt tripping the customer on why they didnt do their job!

Great collision, body and paint shop, friendly, knowledgeable, honest people. Prices are always lower than any other shops I've checked. I wouldn't take my car or trucks anywhere else.. Not sure on the mechanical end as I've never used it, but I hear great things.

Last winter, I did a pretty great job of banging up my car by sliding on ice and hitting a curb. What seemed like an extremely minor incident turned into a lot of repairs because I hit it just right. I talked to a few people in the area and they recommended Rick. Rick was very polite, and kept me in the loop about what was going on with the vehicle. The seatbelts in my newer VW had also locked on impact and needed replaced. He took the necessary measures to insure that the replacement was necessary and was very honest and up front from the beginning. He worked with my insurance, and was extremely methodical about making sure everything was done right. He s so easy to work with and I would recommend him to anyone! He s a fantastic guy and a phenomenal mechanic.Services: Tires, Steering & suspension repair, Body & Trim

Being a poor grad student, I made the mistake of not having collision insurance and getting a fender bender. I was referred to Ricks and had a great experience. Rick understood my financial situation, got used and aftermarket parts for my repair, and informed me about why certain repairs needed to get done. He then offered me a great deal, significantly lower than a mainstream chain body shop that I also visited. My car looks great and I don't have to feel ashamed to drive it anymore :) Rick is a good trustworthy guy. Highly recommended!

Rick was recommended to me by my mechanic, Dean, at the shop next to Rick's. Dean said that Rick does the best body work around, and he was right. Rick worked well with my insurance company, and went out of his way to get the bed replaced on my truck, instead of cutting up pieces. He even sent one bed away bc it was rusty, and found a better rust-free one for me. He has a very professional setup in his shop and matched the paint to the rest of the truck perfectly. I definitely have a "paint guy" for any future work. I highly recommend this guy.

Rick not only did such a great job on my car, his customer service was beyond anything I expected! He has such a rapport with customers, that alone would be a reason to return and refer others. I live in Cleveland and would travel this far again for his service. Highly recommended! Thank you to my former manager for referring him. Thanks Rick!!

I recently changed mechanics , and went to Rick's automotive for oil change and some other stuff. Rick was very friendly and didn't take advantage of my wife and cost me a lot of money. I decided to take my truck to get fixed . Rick's automotive has competitive prices it's worth the drive to see for yourselfMr.&Mrs. Lowery

Had a bunch of work done on my wife's vehicle. Rick was very polite, pricing was very reasonable and the work was done sooner than expected. I've heard nothing but good things about Rick's shop, I'll continue going to them and I'd definitely recommend them.
