Had a trailerable cover made a couple years ago and the quality was excellent and the price was more than fair. I called today to get just a Bimini cover and was told I could not get in until July! Very disappointed but I suppose that is because they are good at what they do.

I'm a happy camper! I stopped in with a small job. Kim and Doug were very nice. Kim knew what I was looking for and quoted me a fair price. A couple of days later she called to let me know the job was finished. The job was done right and it was done faster than I expected. Thanks guys!

Just picked up our boat from Doug's. We had a new cockpit cover made and the craftsmanship is excellent. High quality material was used as well as attention to detail. Equally as important is that Kim and Doug are truly nice people. I recommend highly. My only fear is they may be retired by the time I might need a new cover. And for those that are concerned about price is that they are highly competitive. Would definitely use them again.

Had a really good experience with Doug and Kim. They were very patient with me when I asked them a lot of questions on how the process went for making my boat cover. They helped me find the best color for my boat, I couldn't have been happier with the blue tone I chose. Although I was a little bit hesitant with the price at first, I realized that the quality would far outweigh any question in my mind. It will last years as long as it's taken care of how it's supposed to be. Doug was completely honest and eased my mind in knowing I made the right choice. The stitching was perfect and I'm so proud of how my boat turned out. I've tried to go the cheaper way before and the lack in quality is obvious. They made a custom job for me and made me feel like I was the only thing that mattered at the time even though I saw they had other jobs they were working on.

I was referred here by a family friend and had my boat reupholstered. After seeing their work I also had a second boat cover done by them. They are a notable family owned business that gave me the personal experience I was looking for! They have incredible work at a fair price for the quality I received. It was worth every penny I paid, the work is beautiful and will obviously last. I love supporting local businesses and would highly recommend this professional team. I would never go back to the cheaper options because in the long run they wouldn't last like this work will and I would end up paying the same if not more for lower quality work. They have great old time values and the best customer service experience I could have asked for. I can't wait to take the boat out and show it off next year!

Dog and his wife Kim recently created a canvas for my Lund prov, the results where way beyond satisfying, incredible would be more like it, theses people are a solid 10.....if not more , fantastic !

They repaired a tear in my car's seat and the results look great. Price was reasonable and they responded promptly to my emails when I was looking for quotes (which is not something I can say for any of their competitors). The work was completed in one day.Lead time was about 2 months but the quality of the work was worth the wait.

I had Doug's re-work the interior on my Mastercraft Ski Boat and I am extremely happy with the results.For me, my biggest concern when having my interior fixed was the quality of the finished product. My interior was a very difficult job as it needed to match the other interior parts that did not need to be replaced. Doug's hit it out of the Park!I highly recommend Doug's for anyone who is very particular about their boat, wants it done right, and is not afraid to spend a little extra money. Believe me, You get what you pay for when it comes to Boat Interiors.If you are interested in having Doug's work on your boat upholstery I highly recommend you go see him at the end of the season/early fall and get your interior in line in order to get it completed before the spring comes. He does the best work around and his schedule will get booked up fast.I am not related nor do I know the owners personally. Just a very happy customer.

Doug's does great work. You better schedule 6 months out for a cover, and a year out for upholstery. Expect to pay more, because he is busy enough that he charges more. You can get work done for half the price of Doug's. I had some upholstery work done by another shop last year because Doug's was busy and quoted me 9 months to get the work done. The other place did okay work (for half the price), but forgot to put the hardware on before they finished up. So, in the end, I got what I paid for. Doug does great work, but you will pay for it.

From start to finish Doug and his wife were very polite and very professional. Their workmanship is outstanding I would recommend them to anyone. Doug told me he does all of the work himself and has been in business for over 30 years. I would give six stars if I could.

I'm not big on writing reviews but had to, considering the job Doug and Kim did on making a new sun deck cushion (from scratch) and a new bimiti top for my pontoon. They had to build a new frame for my cushion with three different color fabrics and two different size foam. They matched the colors up perfectly with my existing cushions. The bimiti top was custom fitted to my existing frame. They do what they say. I took my boat out of the water in October dropped it off at Doug's, and within seven to ten days I picked it up and put it right into storage. I know that they are a little more expensive, but Doug and Kim do all the work themselves, and they use top grade material and its custom fitted and made to what you have. No assembly line here. Also thanks you Kim for putting up with all my texts and questions I had. You answered them all. I'm also a firm believer in "YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR". Thanks again. Ken Swaney

Called this place to drop off a boat cover and had them confused with another location I had spoken with previously. Kim was flat out the rudest person I have ever talked with over the phone, ever!! Couldn't be bothered, sighed, and moaned repeatedly at simple questions. During two different conversations. Not to mention the price she quoted was double the nearest competitor. Wouldn't give this place a dime!! Made sure I called her back to let her know what I thought, and hope this review makes somebody (anybody) stay away and it effects her bottom line. In looking at other reviews, it's clear I am not alone.

Describe my experience... Let s just say I was floored at how rude the gentleman was on the phone. I am new to boating and realized that I need a new cover and bimini due to a mouse that made a home of my boat this winter (2013). I called in seeking advice and education as to the process of obtaining a new cover and bimini. I obviously had a lot of questions about his process and how the prices were calculated. He was helpful in describing his process and educating me as to why not to purchase a cover over the internet. When it came to questions about pricing, well..... He abruptly said, 'If you are concerned with pricing then I am not the shop for you!' and hung up on me!!! Well sir.. You have no idea of my net worth and have no idea what I can afford. The nerve..... For those of you out there that care about how your hard earned money is spent, think twice about doing business at Doug's!

Gave me an honest opinion not to do anything with my seat because it wouldn't last. Not many guys out there that will actually turn work away for sake of honesty.

Rudest people I have ever meet at a business. Taking them to small claims court at this point. Did my seats the wrong color and THEY are giving me a hard time about it, hung up on me also. DO NOT DO BUSINESS with them, if so, you will be sorry. Now I have to waste my time and $ with court fees and time off work. RUDE,RUDE,RUDE,RUDE,RUDE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Benny s is the best upholsterer in the Akron area. Just found out that Benny s does Industrial volume sewing. Benny s upholstery reupholstered all the casino chairs at MGM Northfield Park. Large or small Benny s can have your upholstery needs.

Just getting quotes now but there twice the price of some shops 45 minutes from here and those shop have very good workmanship and quality also
