I was extremely satisfied with the customer service. The store rep was pleasant, informative, prompt, acknowledged customers as they arrived, & gave updates on service. The work I had performed was done in a timely manner respectful of my time and without any hiccups.

So I had to tow my car into firestone on a Saturday morning due to having a bad starter. I was told that there were multiple people ahead of me in line and that there was only 1 tech working on the weekends. The tech stated that he might not be able to get to it on that Saturday I dropped it off but he did say that he would "get to it tomorrow" (Sunday). Which was all well and good if he would have started on it on Sunday. So I called on Sunday twice to make sure everything was going alright and he said that he couldn't get to it on today but that it would definitely be done on Monday. I call twice on Monday but it's the same story where they said that they haven't gotten to it yet and that it will definitely be done by 2 o'clock on Tuesday. So I wait until they open on Tuesday to call them and they said that they already had it done. If they had done it I have no idea why they didn't call me the night before or even the morning of. But either way they charged me over 800$ for a new starter and labor even thought it was basically 2 days late. So in short, they're overpriced and will always tell you "it should be done here soon". P.S. they also charged me an extra $40.00 to "check my battery" even thought the battery wasn't 2 days old.

They were very polite and respectful of my time and they checked everything out that I asked them to and more I left knowing they had done a good job on my wife s car and she was going to be safe for the winter driving.

A few weeks back I had needed to get my Honda Civic into a shop to get the starter replaced. After calling around fire stone was the only place that could get me in soon (I called Thursday, they said they could get it in Saturday so I had it towed there on Friday). He said he would have it in for 8am for Saturday, I gave them two separate calls and they kept saying they would get to it but still nothing. Then I called Sunday and they said they were backed up and they would get to it that day (Sunday) and I called an hour before they closed Sunday when they said they would get to it Monday. Then I called Monday and they said they were pulling it in just now which just so happened to be when I called. Then not even two minutes later they called me back claiming the starter was fine and it was just an ignition issue. I then had it towed to an auto shop who fixed the starter (which did need fixed) who charged me $350 less than Firestone was going to, and while I did have an ignition issue Firestone was neglectful to fix what my car was actually there for, the starter. My car ran fine as soon as the starter was fixed, before the ignition was even fixed. I do not recommend going here, they overcharge, and lie about when your car will be looked at, and then barely bother to look at it.

Told me they would try to have it down by Saturday. It s Monday and despite telling me 3 separate times as to when my car would be finished, I am still waiting for my car an hour after the last time they had given me. If you can t stick to a time, don t give one.

Dave was great and really helped me out when an object in the road ruined the sidewall of my tire. Couldn't have driven home without the great service at this location.

They made me wait around four hours to complete front break job while the other customers did not have to wait like me during that time. Even the customers who came after me, they fixed their job before me.

I ve been coming here for years now and have never once had a bad experience. They always go above and beyond, and you can tell they really care about their customers. They always do a very thorough job of explaining things and talking through your options without trying to force you into unnecessary upcharges (like other places I ve been in the past). Several times now they ve also caught issues with my car that other places missed. Service is always quick, friendly, and thorough. I will never go anywhere else. These guys rock! Highly recommend!

Had my Daughter take her 2011 honda accord for a tire leak which was plugged by me earlier that week, had her explain that it was still leaking they checked and said it was a rim seal leak and charged her for repair. Except it was still leaking the service rep said sometimes rim leaks dont take the first time. So the repaired again and also charged again for the repair that wasnt done the first time !!!! So when in town I went to the auto center myself and they did have us make another appointment and looked at it again at no cost reluctantly saying we didnt have the roadaide assistance. So once tpms light still showing low tire pressure and tire is still leaking,so had daughter fill and come home i looked at the tire and low and behold it s the plug I installed had a slow leak which we ask then to check originally so I replugged and fixed no leak!! I do have all receipts not sure if thats normal practice to keep charging for a repair that not done correctly first time 60 $ total for nothing. I found in 10 min with soap and water!!!!Service: Tires

They quoted me one price on the phone, so I was prepared when I got there. After getting 4 new tires on my car I was totally surprised at the total cost. It was like $40.00 cheaper than what I had been quoted. And they were really fast at getting the tires on. Very impressed with them, as well as their work. Recommend this place to anyone needing tires and other work done on their cars. Great job y'all, keep up the good work...

I had to be towed to Firestone a couple of weeks ago, after having car trouble. I didn't have an appointment since it was unexpected, but they were ready and willing to help. I was so impressed and pleased with the service Davy and Dave provided. Not only did they help me find coupons I could use, they also were aware of my home situation and wanted to accommodate me as quickly and efficiently as possible. They kept me updated as far as the progress of the service and gave me options to consider. They also helped me make the best decision based on my use of my car and how long I planned to keep it (it's an older car). I will definitely come back to Firestone for future service.

I visited them twice, and both times they were significantly delayed. Unfortunately, they didn't make any progress on my car, and they even asked me to reschedule, which time-consuming experience.

Everything went smoothly from scheduling appointment online to the tire replacement during which they dectected my alignment was off. Called me to make sure if I want alignment done and then performing it. Also letting me know when the vehicle was ready to pickup. Awesome service.

Came in for a routine oil change and oil leak check, dropped it off in the morning took 6 hours to get it checked. Didn t complete the oil change and after their inspection was told it s be too hard to find the problem and I d have to come back and get it checked again. Incompetent staff, want to try to rip off college kids. Chose anyone else.Services: Auto engine diagnostic, Oil change

Came in today with electrical issues and I wasn't sure what was going on. I got here early and the guys that took care of me were pretty great. They found me decent prices on a new alternator and put it in very quickly to get me out the door. I was really impressed with the service. Seems like they do have some quality guys working there.

To put it frankly, I know nothing about cars. Engine was making a rumbling noise, I had it towed in, and they looked at everything completely free of charge. Customer service was great, and they took excellent care of me and were brutally honest. The car needed a new motor, and they let me leave the car until my family and I were able to grab it later in the week. From sitting in the office, it sounds like they're incredibly busy, but they do what they can to help customers out as quickly as possible. Be understanding with them, and they'll be understanding back. Great experience, and will definitely be coming back here again if I ever have car trouble in Athens!

Having been burned by mechanics in the past, I'm always skeptical taking my car in. Firestone was the 3rd mechanic I had been to about a specific problem with my car and they not only gave me the best price (with additional work being done) but got the part I needed and did the work in 24 hours. Dustin came in on his day off just to get it done for me since it was a safety issue, which I so appreciated. The whole staff was informative and caring and I wouldn't hesitate to come back! Time for them to get a raise and more days off! ;) Thank you so much!!

Great customer service. Mike was great. He really took the time to figure out what was going on with our tires and the faulty tire pressure sensor. He found a defect in our rear tire and replaced it at a very reasonable price. Their service was very friendly and quick.

Oil Change in under an hour, schedule for the morning to avoid the rush! Davie was great at explaining any maintenance and what should happen next time. I do wish that they had the stickers with next estimated mileage to change oil rather than past date it was changed, but that's a corporate thing I think.

I have only ever been here for oil changes and every single time even with appointment it has always taken an hour. During my last visit I even made sure to be the first oil change in the morning and it still took an hour. Other than that I went with my friend to have her tire changed after a flat on state street and they were pretty prompt with fixing it. I go to Hill Top for oil changes now, very quick.

They put my tire on my rim the wrong way! They are directional tires. Fortunately I checked before putting it on. I had to wait in the parking lot while they fixed it. And then put it on myself. $80 and it took them twice to get it right. Also this is the 3rd flat I've had since I bought my car in April. I have bought 2 sets of tires and now replaced another. Also had to have a flat repair on one from the first set. I have a Subaru and can't have mismatched tires. I have bought 9 tires for the same car since April. They also do not do my alignments properly. I ask if everything checks out and they say yes I'm good to go. Then I ask for a print out of my alignment and they give it to me and realize that they didn't get it aligned and I should come back in a week or two. But I wouldn't know to do that if I didn't ask for proof of the alignment... I would just be driving around assuming they did the job they told me that they did. I've been going only to Firestone for almost 20 yrs and extremely frequently since I have been a Subaru owner in 2009. If it weren't for Dave in the front being friendly and personable, and the lifetime alignments I probably would've stopped coming a long time ago. But it doesn't do much good to have the lifetime alignments if they aren't going to do them right anyway. Never again.

I had nothing but issues. Had them inspect brakes while I went on vacation. They inspected but never called. I had to call to get update to find out my car had been sitting there for 2 days. Then the tech tells me "yep your car is ready to roll" yet it was still had the same problems it had when I dropped it off (so clearly not ready). Fine whatever, I tell them to proceed and replace the rotors. I go pick up the car pay my bill and leave, all is well (at this point I would rate 3-4 stars). I review my invoice to find out I had been charged for a tire rotation that didnt happen. I know this because the rim I scuffed on the curb a month ago is still on the passenger side rear. Apparently, new age rotation of tires now means the tires rotated as the tech pulls the car into the bay.

I left Firestone today in a 10 times better mood than when I walked in, and not just because my car got fixed. Everyone treated me with up-most respect, something that is uncommon for a lot of young ladies. They gave me a personal ride to advanced auto to help me talk to them about the warranty on my battery which was needing replaced. They were done with my car in less than 90 minutes and kept me updated the entire time. They also gave me an extremely affordable price. I recommend Athens Firestone to anyone. Absolutely blown away by their amazing service.
